EURent Case Management demo - start case

I have deployed the case management composite and UI and I can log perfectly into the UI and I can see in Enterprise Manager that EURent has been deployed.
Now I want to test it by creating a case, and use the sample XML payload for the EURent.startCase service, and when I send the request (http://localhost:port/soa-infra/services/default/EURent/EURent.service), I get an "Accepted" response and by looking in enterprise manager it seems that a case has been started. My problem is, that I cannot see this case when I log into the UI as the mmitch user as specified in the guide.
Is anybody else experiencing problems with actually viewing the cases in the demo UI?

Can you tell me what environment you are using when succesfully trying the UIRent demo?
I am having A LOT of trouble with even the most simple case management projects and I am out of ideas.
I have installed JDeveloper 11g which includes a WebLogic 10.3.5 server and I have installed the SOA/BPM Suite too. I have added patches p15995111 and p14526899 which according to Oracle are the required patches for Case management.
Even when I create the simplest case manegement demo with a single automatic BPM process which doesn't do anythign and a rule which sets a milestone after the activity is completed doesnt work. I can see in Enterprise Manager that the BPM process is completed but the rule is never fired.  Is there something special which have to be configured on the WL server to be able to run case management projects?

    Can you try the following BAPI - BAPI_CRMCASE_CREATE from the Function Group - CRM_CMG_BAPI. I guess this will at least give you some idea as to how to proceed. Also, have a look at the Function Module documentation which will give you an idea of the sample code.
    You can also have a look at the following Class Method - cl_crm_cmg_manager=>create_case. I found this in CL_CRM_CMG_IL which is the SAP CRM 6.0 Genil Component Class.

  • Case Management | Recreating a case for same BP

    Hello Guru's,
    I have created a case for the blocked business partner which was rejected and BP is still in blocked stage. Now business wanted to create a new case for the same BP.
    While creation of the case, system conveys that the case is already exist for the given business partner and workflow is not getting triggered as the workflow status is in completion status.
    How to retrigger the case for already processed case? How to change the status of case from Rejected to approved or vice versa.

    I am working to configure Case Management to work with GTS. I have made what I believe are the correct configuration settings under Process Route and Case Types in the IMG for Case Management, and have activated it for SAP GTS. The guide recommends that you leave the default settings for most of the config, which I have. However, when I try to create a case I receive the message "No process route model could be determined".
    Can you share the detailed steps  in sequence to set up case management?

  • Case Management - Arrays as case data

    I have a Case Management project where I would like to have an array of people on the case as case data. My thought is, that the way to do it is to model a Business Object "People" which has a list of "Person" Business Objects. Then I can add the "People" object as case data.
    But what happens if I have two different case activities (or two instances of the same activity) which adds a person to the "People" object and saves as case data? I'm not sure what best practice is in this scenario. Should I make a sevice call in the BPM process where a service executes some custom java code to interact with the Case Management API and manipulate the data?

    please try the following - I just checked it:
    1) Create your composite with case and caserule
    2) Create a HumanTask (e.g. HumanTask1) with input / output => e.g. parameter1 & parameter2
    3) Promote the task as CaseActivity.
    4) Open the Business Rule associated with the case. Go to Facts and create a new XML Fact based on the generated HumanTask1Payload.xsd (it contains the booleans that you defined for the HumanTask). Press OK.
    5) From now on you can use the fact in your rule. For example in the condition type HumanTask1PayloadType and select the appropriate parameter.
    Please let me know if it works for you.

  • Development environment for Case Management

    Hi,
    I want to get started with Case Management, but I could use some startup tips as this is the first time I am installing a Java environment from scratch. To be able to design and develop case management solutions, JDeveloper is required and it seems that there is a WebLogic server embedded in the JDeveloper installation. I can install the BPM extensions for JDeveloper and I have the support for Case Management. But is this enough to actually deploy and test a solution? Or does that require a stand alone weblogic+SOA suite installation? I would rather have all this figured out before I start installing all the different things.

    I found only "Javadoc" and "Modelling and Implementation Guide". Both documents seems to be scarce to start development. Of course there are a lot of blogs and one example on java.net, but where is a documentation ???

  • ERES process is giving error in Case Management

    Hi All,
    I am trying to implement ERES in Case Management -> Agent Dashboard -> Case Summary (click on 'E-Record' button).
    I have done the setups as mentioned in the Doc ID 1067744.1.
    I am facing the below issues
    1. As per the step 9 (Expected results), 'E-Record Details' is not enabled in 'Tools1' menu. It's still disabled.
    2. As per the step 11, I am able to test the AME setups - No Issues.
    3. As per the step 6 (ERES Administrator), when I validate the event 'oracle.apps.cs.sr.ServiceRequestApproval', I am getting the below error under XML Payload.
    An unexpected error has occurred while generating the XML payload. ORA-20001: The DB to XML transformation has failed with the following error: ECX_MAP_NOT_FOUND. The log file details are: ecx.plsql.out.61034.1609.log ORA-06512: at "APPS.APP_EXCEPTION", line 72 ORA-06512: at "APPS.EDR_UTILITIES", line 1488 ORA-06512: at line 2
    Could anyone help me to resolve this error for "ECX_MAP_NOT_FOUND"?
    I noticed that there is NO data in ECX_MAPPINGS table for the event when I run the below query
    SELECT * FROM ECX_MAPPINGS WHERE MAP_CODE like 'oracle.apps.cs.sr.ServiceRequestApproval';

    Solution:
    Add a new Subscription Parameter called EDR_XML_MAP_CODE for "oracle.apps.cs.sr.ServiceRequestApproval" business event:
    1. Login as SYSADMIN user
    2. (R) Workflow Administrator Web Applications responsibility
    3. (N) Administrator Workflow: Business Events
    4. Search for Name = oracle.apps.cs.sr.ServiceRequestApproval
    5. Click on "Subscription" icon
    6. Click on Update pen icon
    7. Update Event Subscriptions page will load
    8. Click on Next
    9. At the Subscription Parameters section click on Add Another Row button
    10. Add EDR_XML_MAP_CODE with oracle.apps.edr.erectxt.create value and Apply.

  • Adding Business Partner as Partner Funcation in Case Managment

    I am working on migrating an old PCUI applications to the new web client under CRM 6.0 /2007. Our applications developed using CRM Case Management. Since,  Case Management does not support partner determination we had to code this using a BADI (to manually inserting a business partner to the case). However, after migrating to the new interface CRM Web Client, this BADI is not called at all. How can I programmaticly insert a specific Business partner to a case.
    The codes used under PCUI was like this
    BADI: CRM_CMG_CASE_ACCESS
            CALL METHOD IR_ACCESS->add_object_to_rec
              EXPORTING
                iv_anchor         = 'C1'

    Well just use the PPF functionality where you define Action Profiles and Actions, and then assign each Action Profile to a case type.

  • This is a humble request to guide me through the new case management.

    I read completely about case management.
    But i didn't get that when we are deploying out case into the server then we should instantiate which one the processess which are promoted as activity or the case where we are required to enter the caseid and all.
    If suppose we are doing so that we are initiating the case then nothing happens only a new instance is created
    Is it so that suppose there are 8 processes promoted as our case activity then we have to TEST each of the process individually,then again for each process a seperate instance is being created and the data cannot flow from one process to another.
    Please guide me through this ,I am totally cofused regarding this.

    You cannot. From a legal standpoint, the license agreement for OS X mandates that you run OS X only on Apple hardware. HP is not (yet) owned by Apple.
    From a technical standpoint, your HP laptop doesn't use EFI, but rather an early predecessor called a BIOS. Apple is the only vendor of consumer computer hardware that uses EFI; other vendors reserve EFI for use in servers.

    It will be simpler (and legal), to simply purchase a used Mac. Apple's online store has refurbished MacBook Airs starting at $850 and Mac Minis for $700. If you go to e-bay or craigslist, you'll find used Macs for considerably less.

  • Configuring workflow for case management

    My requirement is to copy the standard workflow for case management WS01700044 and add few things once the case is processed.
    Now my problem is, how do I configure this new Z workflow in the SCASE. So that once I save the case, I should be able to start the workflow I have created.
    Currently only 2 workflows are listed for case management.
    1. WS01700051
    2. WS01700044
    I want three workflows to be listed.
    Do we need to configure the newly created workflow in SPRO under case management? Please guide me.

    Hi There,
    The workflow in case management is triggered by the event BUS2022.NONPROFESSIONALUSERSET which is the same trigger that invokes WS01700044. You will first need to disable that trigger (open that workflow and remove the trigger (the first node in the workflow)). I would then add that trigger to your new Z workflow and that should do the trick.
    This is the best way to do it rather than looking in the IMG.

  • Remove Linked Objects Case Management

    Dear Guru's
    I would like to find out how I can permanently remove some of the linked objects that are offered by the system in case management ie TC <i><b>scase</b></i> . We are only going to be using the Business Partner object to assign a BP to a case, and the Business Transactions object for activities, the rest are irrelevant. I know you can delete them during the editing of a case, but I would like to permanently remove them.

    Ok I found the solution for that, what I did is in TC scase under [<i>b]CRM Case Mgt->Record and Case Records Models->Modeler for CRM Case Records</b></i> , on the subscreen I chose start search and then selected the Modeler that I am using which for was the standard which came with the system is CRM 4.0: Integration IC Webclient/BSP UI. I put it in change mode, and for the object that I do not need to use, I clicked on them and clicked deactivate. Which is more than half for me.
    Having done this you will see that for all the objects that you have deactivated, they do not appear during the creation of a case.
