Event based xml message creation and sending to an ESB

Hi,
what's the easiest way, to trigger xml message creation based on certain event (e.g. change of the contract) and to automaticaly send it to ESB - IBM websphere in this case? So it's not clasical web service call, more like an event driven architecture. BAdI for Inform Of Contracts Change is available in this case.

This blog gives an excellent description of 'FILE to Proxy' scenario.
what you need is XML to proxy...i.e. your scenario is very similar to this one...only diffrence is that , you wont be using FCC .since your source msg is in XML format..

did you connect SCN with PI/XI ? for proxy communication ?
if not this is a start
then you need to configure PI/XI to push the message wherever you want

What is inbound XML message type and idoc type in Purchase Order response

Hi ,
We are on SRM 7 ECS , support pack SAPKIBKV08.
We have a process in which vendor will send a Purchase Order response which will be
converted to XML format by a middleware. This XML message will come to
SRM and post a POR. I want to do the EDI mapping for this XML message,
but there is no message type and idoc type in SRM for Purchase Order
response. How do I map my message type in SRM to the vendor sent fields
in middleware .

Hi,
You can process with XML without IDoc.
Vendor-> (XML) -> PI -> (XML) -> SRM.
Please check PurchaseOrderConfirmation_In in namespace "http://sap.com/xi/SRM/Procurement/Global".

Problem in XML Message creation using ABAP Proxy

Hi,
I am trying to send the data from ECC to CRM when post goods issue is done for a delivery from ECC side using ABP Proxy. I called my proxy method in BADI : DELIVERY_PUBLISH.
And after calling the method, I used commit work also.
But the problem is, some times it is working fine. and some times the XML messages are not getting created. When I go in debug, looks everything is fine.
I am unable to understand why this inconsistency.
Could you please help me out, do I need to take any more precautions.

There is no problem in the proxy. Some small problem in the database update.

Need help: message split and send in BPM

i have this mapping where the idoc has to be split first before passing it to a BPM. the mapping should perform like this
from

   segA
     segB1
     segB2
     segB3

/IDOC

I was successful in doing the 1st step of mapping requirement for the above transformation. The next step was to map per occurence of IDOC to another target message and send it (ex. above is 3 occurence of IDOC, so there should be 3 mapping and sending that should happen. My problem now is how to design the BPM for this. Any suggestions?

create one MT such as
root

duplicate the subnode in the target message mapping (right click on the node and select dupliate subtree) and ten do the mapping...here u can go 4 this approach only if the number of number source segments (ie. sega, segb1, segb2, segb3) are constant....have read in coupe of threads that split mapping is not possible for idocs.....u may also need to check on it

A fairly common error people make when using messages, is to type their outgoing message in the Subject field which is just above the Message field. In fact, I think it's a good idea to turn the message field to OFF.

Mail shows correct message Subject and Sender (in list) but displays an old message

OK, this is very weird.
I'm accessing Gmail using Mail 7.3 on an iMac running Mavericks 10.9.3.
A couple of days ago I started noticing that random emails -- not every one -- simply won't display in Mail. I can see that I got a new message, and the sender and Subject are correct. But if I click on it to see it in the preview pane, or if I double click on it to open it in a separate window, I get an entirely different message.
What displays is typically a 2 year old message, being pulled from my Google Archives! Very odd!
I have to use a web browser on gmail.com to see the message correctly. It also works fine on my iPhone.
FWIW, my gmail account is at 30% capacity. I archive almost everything immediately, so my inbox is rarely full. My archive box, of course, is huge. I just checked, and it's happening there, too! I don't see it happening in the junk file folder...
I use Mail for 8 other email accounts, including another gmail account. I haven't noticed the issue with any of the other accounts.

Thanks for the tip. I never saw Rebuild before in the menu.
So I selected the mailbox and hit Rebuild. It "blinked" and refreshed, took about 5 seconds--I thought it would take longer.
At any rate, no change. It's still happening.
Any other ideas?

Auto sort incoming email based on message content and subject

I am trying to do what it says above. I have created a smart mailbox and that will put on copy of the message in the mailbox and one in my inbox. How can I do it so it will be automatically added to that mailbox instead of my inbox?

don't use a smart mailbox for this. a smart mailbox is not a real mailbox. it's a saved search and doesn't move messages anywhere. make a regular mailbox and make a mail rule that moves incoming messages to that mailbox based on criteria you want.

Try this first - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. (This is equivalent to rebooting your computer.)
Or this - Delete the account in Mail and then set it up again. Settings->Mail, Contacts, Calendars -> Accounts Tap on the Account, then on the red button that says Remove Account.

Hi I am looking for a simple way of creating a xml file, populate it with data and saving it. Is there any simple way to achieve this ?

What API/language are you using?

Message sync and sending problem

Hi!
I run Nokia PC suite 6.8.22, Norwegian version, on WinXP Pro SP2. I have a Nokia N90 mobile phone which has just been updated.
When I choose "Messages" ("Meldinger" translated from Norwegian) in PC Suite it tries to sync PC with Phone. After a short while I get the following error message: "Updating messages failed. Check that the phone is in stand by modus and that date and time is set on the phone" ("Oppdatering av meldinger mislyktes. Kontroller at telefonen er i standby-modus, og at dato og klokkeslett er angitt i telefonen" translated from Norwegian).
I have reinstalled PC Suite but that did not help.
I have tried both Blue Tooth and USB cable, same result.
What could be wrong?

Carriers limit SMS to 160 characters or less. Turning character count on/off will have no affect on this limit, so don't waste your time.

Purpose
You use the Adapter Engine to connect the Integration Engine to SAP systems (RFC adapter) and external systems. You use the various adapters in the Adapter Engine to convert XML- and HTTP-based messages to the specific protocol and format required by these systems, and the other way around.
Q2. wht does an XI Adapter do and wht is the purpose of using it?
Purpose
You configure the XI adapter to exchange messages with an Integration Engine. Both XI 3.0 and XI 2.0 message protocols are supported. You also use the XI adapter to exchange messages between SAP Exchange Infrastructure and the Partner Connectivity Kit (PCK).
You can use security settings to sign messages and check the signature. You can encrypt and decrypt message payloads.
Features
·        To receive XML messages from a sender system, configure the sender XI adapter.
If messages are sent from the Integration Server to the PCK, you must create a sender XI adapter in the PCK.
·        To send XML messages to a receiver system, configure the receiver XI adapter.
If messages are sent from the PCK to the Integration Server, you must create a receiver XI adapter in the PCK.
XI Adapter in the Integration Server

   XI adapter sends the data through XI protocol which works on HTTP and XML.
So, security for XI adapter means
1) HTTPS(Communication channel security)
2) Message Level Security( You can send messages further in encrypted form)
The communication via web service may have advantages, if you want communicate with non XI systems.
In your scenario, there is direct communication between XI engines, so you can go for XI adapter. The XI adapter which is normally used to configure the exchange of messages with in an Integration Server, canbe extended to exchange messages between the two Integration Servers in the scenario.
Please verify if if you have the common SLD for both XI systems. its preferable to go for seperate SLDs
