Event ID: 1021 after upgrating to SP5

Hi,
I recent upgraded to BES SP5 exchange,
I now get the follwoing
In Windows Server 2003 event viewer I get:
Event Type: Error
Event Source: MSExchangeIS
Event Category: Connections
Event ID: 1021

server/Administrator was unable to connect as /o= /ou=first administrative group/cn=Recipients/cn=xxxxx. Error 0x3f2.
Any ideas, I head it's a permissions problem, where should i look?

IPhoto events view broken after import, images missing

I'm running the latest iPhoto on a 10.8.2 Retina MacBook Pro and experience some strange import problems since the end of last month.
My library holds more then 26.000 images right now and whenever I try to import some new images by dragging them from Finder to the iPhoto library the images (and videos) get imported... but when I try to view the event afterwards it doesn't open and the scrolling of the complete events view is broken. The scrollbar moves but thumbnails of events don't! I'm not able to use the events view anymore after a try to open such broken event.
When I use the regular photos view (the 2nd item in the left menu) I can see and use these new images... until I quit and restart iPhoto. Afterwards many images are missing – see http://cl.ly/JrjF for an example. I can delete those broken events... but not empty the trash afterwards. It just hangs while purging all entries.
Has anyone experienced this already?
I'm importing iPhone images uploaded to the DropBox "Camera Uploads" folder. But I can't believe it has to do with anything related to this.
I've also disabled the Photostream feature (not the shared ones) in iPhoto because I got tired of splitted events due to Photostream missing some images now and then. Maybe it has to do with that disabled feature. I'll try to reenable it after restoring my 5 days old backup (120GB) a second time now.

This sounds like a damaged database.
Try this test:
Hold down the option (or alt) key and launch iPhoto. From the resulting menu select 'Create Library'
Import a few pics into this new, blank library. Is the Problem repeated there?
If it's not then back to your main Library:
Option 1
Back Up and try rebuild the library: hold down the command and option (or alt) keys while launching iPhoto. Use the resulting dialogue to rebuild. Choose to Repair Database. If that doesn't help, then try again, this time using Rebuild Database.
If that fails:
Option 2
Download iPhoto Library Manager and use its rebuild function. (In Library Manager it's the FIle -> Rebuild command)
This will create an entirely new library. It will then copy (or try to) your photos and all the associated metadata and versions to this new Library, and arrange it as close as it can to what you had in the damaged Library. It does this based on information it finds in the iPhoto sharing mechanism - but that means that things not shared won't be there, so no slideshows, books or calendars, for instance - but it should get all your events, albums and keywords, faces and places back.
Because this process creates an entirely new library and leaves your old one untouched, it is non-destructive, and if you're not happy with the results you can simply return to your old one.

Can you pls let me know the BOR & event which triggers after vendor master change. (Xk02). I used tcodes SWELS (evetn trace) , and SWEL and changed vendor adress using XK02. but I could not find any event or BOR in the trace. Pls help me out.

when we change the vendor details we dont have the event which is automatically triggered by the system so we create an zbusinessobject as subtype for the vendor(LFA1) as supertype.
and create a new event in that z business object .
change document for the vendor is KRED you can check it in the CDHDR table by giving tcode name.
after finding changedocument object go to SWEC and create a newentry specifying your changedocumentobject name and BO name and event name and click on radiobutton onchange.
and now you can check whether an entry is getting in swels or not when changing the vendoor details.

Ical loosing events / reappearing later after Lion upgrade

Hi all,
This is a new one for me - now that we've upgraded our computers to Lion, we're seeing some weird activity on iCal. A newly added event will suddenly dissappear, then reappear later, and maybe go again again. We've got our calendars sync'd to Mobile-Me, and it's been working fine for quite awhile. Now suddenly we're seeing strange behavior - my wife spotted it first, adding an event she needed for the next day, then not spotting it a few hours later. She added it again, and then after awhile, BOTH appeared. For me, I've got an app that adds events automatically, and I actually watched it appear on iCal, and less than 20 seconds later, it vanished! I hit refresh, and refresh all, to no avail. THEN I added the event again, and after a few seconds, BOTH appeared.
Anyone else seeing such weirdness? We sync both our computers, iPhone, and iPad via Mobile me. I searched this and other forums, and though I found a few similar threads with sync problems with external calendars (google, et.al.), nothing shows for all-mac problems.

doesn't always work for me - yesterday i added an event, then modified it (title and set all day) then done, and it vanished. added another and IT vainished too quickly to edit. BusyCal showed both, mobile-me showed both (syncd on ipad/iphone showed both) just having problems on my local machine where i generate the events. same with my wife's computer, her events vanish, but show up on mine.
it's infuriating, since our business relies on these calendars. we've gone back to using paper ones until this gets fixed.
the scary thing is that it doesn't seem to be iCal - more the database iCal uses, calendarStore - because an app that lookes at that shows them missing, too.
Restarting the computer brings back the missing ones.

Event linkage deactivated after executing the work flow

Hi Experts,
We are facing a problem in the production with Event linkage activation.After Event linkage was activated (ENABLED = u2018Xu2019 in the table SWFDEVENA) and if we execute the workflow then again this linkage is deactivated(Enabled value is cleared).if we activate the linkage and execute the work flow again after work flow exectution event linkage will be deactivated.Could you please give the solution if any one face this issue.

EVENT FIRST COMMAND AFTER SELECT

I'm now using Gemalto Developer's Suite and I want to test this event. However, I try different ways but fail to accomplish my test.
Do you know any materials, or just anything about this event? I searched throughout various sources, materials but all I have now is a small piece of information in GSM 43.019
Upon reception of the first command received by the GSM application after it has been selected or after the ATR if it is the default application, and before the Status >Word of the processed command has been sent back by the GSM application, the toolkit framework shall trigger all the toolkit applets registered to this event.
If the first command received by the GSM application is a toolkit applet triggering command (e.g. TERMINAL PROFILE), the toolkit applets registered on the >EVENT_FIRST_COMMAND_AFTER_SELECT event shall be triggered first.
The ProactiveHandler and the ProactiveResponseHandler shall not be available at the invocation of the processToolkit method of the toolkit applet on the >EVENT_FIRST_COMMAND_AFTER_SELECT event.From this material, I think it's quite vague to understand clearly this event.

This is automatic event that was born by OS instead mobile.
When OS received the first command "00 A4 04 00 00 0xXX + AID APPLET GSM" from User, OS will look in the ToolkitApplet Registry table and find the applet with EVENT FIRST COMMAND AFTER SELECT, then OS call method "process toolkit" of this applet.
the called applet will do something that it want. Maybe send data to ME.
When method done, OS continue action normally.
This is for GSM applet on JavaCard. And the GSM applet is not default program.
For the case: GSM is default, that mean OS automatic select GSM APPLET when it starts, no need to any command form ME or User, OS auto create this event and look toolkitapplet to run processToolkit method.

If the flash object is placed in 0px div, the creationComplete event is fired after a long wait time

My requirement is to hide flash object on browser. However, If the flash object is placed in 0px div, the creationComplete event is fired after a long wait time. Is this a bug of Flex? (or Flash Player?)

Thank you for your response. The computers are indeed running Flash Pro CC 13.1.0.226. I tried to generate a minidump file on four different computers where Flash Pro hung, but was not able to do so on any of them as Flash Pro makes the entire system unresponsive. I get the spinning circle cursor and then the GUI of all apps greys out and fails to update. I don't actually get any sort of error message; everything simply stops responding.
I was probably unclear above; even if I can alt-tab I can't really interact with any other programs once Flash Pro hangs beyond one or two mouse clicks. So on some computers I could right-click on the process in Process Explorer and choose to create a minidump, which then froze, or I might right-click on the process and have it immediatly freeze. I've experienced about two dozen crashes and I've never been able to really use another program or even kill the Flash process in task manager. I also have to power off the computer by holding down the power button, since while I might be able to open the Start menu I can't reach the point of being able to shut it down without it freezing.
From what I was able to see in Process Explorer, Flash Pro was using <1% CPU and 120M private / 170M working memory.

After restarting the xserver the display occures normal in grey with the apple icon and preloder symbol for 2..3 minutes.
Than the display shows "no signal" and the orange allert light in the front of the xserve lights up und the two blue led strings light up for a short time too.
What happened? How could I manage this problem?

Netstorage broken after 6.5 SP5 install

After patching to SP5 (and post patches) on NWSB 6.5 server, NS is
broke. Users can login and drives map OK, but no data appears.
After the SP5 install, I couldn't authenticate. I followed TID
10098297 and that fixed authentication.
also - when trying to access NSADMIN, I get an error that I'm not
authorized and that I need to be proxy user or equiv. logged in as me
and user Admin. no luck.

Major Update: The G-Keys can now be edited without recompiling by editing shell scripts at "/usr/share/g15daemon/macros/"
Each button has it's own script file named by it's label (e.g. to edit the functionality of G1, open the script named G1.) The button will try to execute the scripts as programs, so make sure they are executable (chmod +x) and as long as the name remains the same, if you want to replace the files with something different, know that the arguments currently given to the files ($1 and $2) are ($1)on/off and ($2)0-2 (where 0 is M1 and 2 is M3)
To download the updated sources, go here (only the g15daemon source/patch was updated). This thread's OP has been updated.

How to tackle the dataflow problem when Value Change event always triggers after another GUI event

We know that Value change event always triggers after another GUI event. Eg, the user modifies string control, the user clicks on a boolean control. Then event boolean clicked is triggered before event string control value change.
Now suppose somehow the GUI event that must happen to subsequently trigger the Value change event can potentially affect the data that Value change event is supposed to work on. How can we tackle this problem ?
For example, in a mockup application that the grand purpose is to have user entered values in a textbox logged to a file (no missing information is accepted, and there is a boolean to determine how the information is logged).
There are 2 controls, boolean A when clicked (mouse down) will load random number in text box B. Text box B is designed with event structure VALUE change which saves whatever values user enters into text box B to a log file.
There are 3 problems when instead of clicking anywhere on the front panel after modifying text box B, the user ends up clicking on boolean control A.
1. Event mouse down on Boolean control A will execute first, modifying text box B content before the user entered values in B get saved.
2. The value of boolean A can potentially affect how textbox B is loggged.
3. The value of boolean A affects how the file is logged and this is indeterminate. Somehow when running this VI with no Highlighting, the textbox B Value change event executes -before- boolean A value is updated (F to T). When running this VI with Highlighting, the boolean A value is updated (F to T) (because we click on it) -before- textbox B value change event occurs. Why is it like this ?
Now the situation I made up seems non-sense, but I believe it resembles one way or another a problem that you might run into. How would you solve this problem elegantly ?

You can set the string control to "update while typing".
Are you sure appending the log to itself is reasonable? Wouldn't it grow without bounds if the users keeps entering strings or pressing the ingore button?
Why isn't the "constant" a diagram constant instead of a control. Is the user allowed to change it?
To reset just write empty strings or a false to local variables of the controls (renit to defaults" seems a bit heavy handed).
All you probably need is a single event case for "ignore:value change" and "String" value changed", no need for the local variable..
Also add a stop button and an event for it.
You don't need the timeout event.

Mail not sending Event to iCal after upgrade

I did the same as everyone else and upgraded as soon as I saw the message to upgrade mobileme ical. Now when I try to create an event in iCal using a date in an email after clicking on "Add To iCal" the popup just freezes. I've quited and rebooted Mail as well as iCal and no luck.
Anyone else have this issue? Better yet, did anyone else find out how to fix it?
With 4 boys I rely on that convenience big time!

The general approach at this time is to ask if you've checked for any problematic fonts (all languages) with Apple's Font Book (look in the Applications folder). Find and remove all duplicates also.
Start there to be sure all fonts that are in play come out with a clean bill of health.
Don't hesisate to perform wholesale deletion of old and/or little used fonts - be skeptical of anything that has come from Office 2008, including those related to an Equation Editor installation.
By all means be sure any 3rd party apps AND plug-ins are Snow Leopard compatible.

Event getting trigger after hiding columns in alv report

I having requirement like after hiding columns,i have to control some of the hard coded data in report output. Is there any event to know what all are the columns are selected to hide?

You can use FM REUSE_ALV_LIST_LAYOUT_INFO_GET to read the fieldcat again.
Look at the parameter it_event_exit on the ALV FM to now user has press on some of the Layout buttons.
In the fieldcatalog, look for
- no_out = 'X'. " column is not displayed but can be choosen when changing the layout
-tech = 'X'.
" column is neither displayed nor availabe in the layout
