Every time i try and update firefox a window pops up ad says that I must reboot firefox from a previous install and when i do and i try to reinstall firefox the same pop up comes up and it won't let me update to the new version

when i try to update firefox to the new version and i go to install it it tells me to reboot the system from a previous install of firefox so i go and reboot the system and it keeps saying the same thing.

Try this:<br/>
# Close Firefox.
# In Windows Explorer, go to the following location: '''%USERPROFILE%\Local Settings\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Mozilla Firefox\updates'''
# Delete everything in that folder.
