Everytime I plug my device into the computer it does not open in itunes. What do I do?
After I dwnloaded the update for iTunes, I been having trouble tryig to connect my device to iTunes and I do not know whtto do?
When there are photos/videos in the iPhone's Camera Roll, the iPhone is also recognized as a digital camera when connected to your computer or should if there is not a problem with the computer.

I have a family of seven. Five of us all have Apple Ipods or Iphones. Everytime there is a new update for itunes or any of us try to plug our devices into the computer to hook up to itunes we all have problems or it won't let us!...It's getting to the point that we don't want to continue spending hundreds of dollars on Apple products that keep giving us problems. What is the problem? We cant help if you dont tell us what the problem is.

When I plug any of my phones into the computer it does not connect.
When I plug any of my phones into the computer it does not connect. I can hear a beep but that's it. I checked all of my USB cords and the same results. Normally it would download my new pictures and start charging and that no longer happens. When I plug my wall charger in the phone charges.

However, after your remove the Apple software components also remove the iCloud Control Panel via Windows Programs and Features app in the Window Control Panel. Then reinstall all the Apple software components

I find it easiest to download my purchases directly to my iPhone. You don't even need to connect your iPhone to iTunes. As long as you are signed in with the same Apple ID you used to purchase the items, you will not be charged.
You can find the steps to do this under the section titled "Apps, Books, Music, Movies, or TV shows on iOS" in the following article:

PlayBook connects to the computer, but does not open the store, I can not access it.
Out of nowhere my computer stopped connecting Playbook, recognizes, but does not open for storage, I can not access the file or anything nehum Playbook by computer. I tried to sync it using the BlackBerry Desktop Software, but he also only recognizes and failed to fix the error, and have formatted the Playbook, uninstalled the drives from my computer and reinstalled them again and nothing. Can anyone help?

Hi, I had the same problem. I finally figured it out. Plug in the USB cord to your ipad, but beofre plugging it into your computer make sure your ipad is not in the locked or sleep mode. Once I did this, my photos showed up and started downloading. Hope that helps you!

I need help with a few things....
1.) My ipod touch (5th gen) was doing what i believe was an ios7 update when i stopped it becuz it was taking forever. After that the screen just said connect to itunes. I've looked up how to fix it and i know it would work but there is a few things...I dont ever use my ipod for music. Just for apps and stuff and I have never connected it to itunes or anything. I need help making it so when i connect my ipod to the computer it starts syncing. But when I follow the directions for that, it says go to the device button and I dont have that option...Help!!
2.) In all the help videos, it says to do the slide to turn off thing but my ipod never lets me!! It does turn off though.
Theres a few other things. I need to know if this problem can be fixed if I can't find a way to fix the things i just said. Or if there is somebody that I can have repair it for me. Also if I have a warranty with Best Buy, I need to know if this could be covered. This was a gift from my boyfriend for Christmas and I use it a lot. I just recently tried to plug my iphone 4s into intunes. It comes up with the menu of what action do you want to take. My only options only involve photos and videos nothing to do with syncing or music. When I open itunes it does not even show my device in itunes. What do I do??

Is the iPod still singed into the account isn Settings>iTunes and App Stores and SettingsZ>iCloudl? If it is then I would not be concerned.

For the other "problem", go to iTunes>Preferences>Devices and check the box that says Prevent iPod....automatically syncing.
