Excel Save As dialog not appearing for one user

Hi,
My company uses a payroll application called Cintra.
It's possible to run a report in this application and
export it to Excel.
When one of the users exports a report and clicks File > Save As > Browse nothing happens. All other users get the Save as dialog.
Is there any setting that may be preventing this? She does not appear to have this trouble when saving any other
Excel
files.
We all use Excel 2013 on Windows 7 in Citrix.

Based on your description, it's most likely that a Third-party add-in causes this issue, you can try to start excel in safe mode to test it.  excel.exe /safe

    When the other user logs on, the touchpad works for a few seconds, then a displays a black square with a red diagonal line through it, then the touchpad won't respond. Trying to use the keypad to navigate to system diagnosics or anything to find further info is useless....

    I will do my best in assisting to hopefully get the TouchPad to work on the second user profile.
    What I would like to start off with, is to restore the original Synaptics drivers onto the profile that is not working correctly. I have included the document Using Recovery Manager to Restore Software and Drivers (Windows 7).
    Once you have installed the original drivers, you will need to complete all updates from both HP, as well as Windows. For these updates, if you open the HP Support Assistant, and select Maintain, you should see an option for updating.
    Please let me know how these steps do work out for you.

  • UWL Subview does not show for one user

    Hi All - We have a UWL Subview. It is working fine except for one user. He cannot see the entire Subview drop down box at all. It is as if it does not exist. I've verified he has the tasks for the Subview to appear. Can anyone give some ideas as to what other possibilities this can happen? I've tried several things. Verified with security no roles exist for functionality within the UWL. The user have tried going to our QA system and logged in as a test user id - Subview visible. His ID is valid and active in ECC. If you don't have a direct answer, maybe you know of tools on how to debug or trace the UWL. I've seen two threads exactly like my situation and they receive no responses. Hopefully, there is something new to my request.

    The issue is resolved. In the Portal UWL Admin screen, the user showed personalization settings for the Subview. We decided to delete all entries. He can now see the Subview drop down. It is weird because on his own his access to his own personalization settings is empty.

  • Line items are not appearing for some users

    In one module pool program some line items are not appering for specific users. For Ex: Out of 5 line items user1 is able to see only 3 and user2 able to see all the line items. what might be the reason.

  • Account search functinality is not working for one user in portal

    Hi friends,
    We have configured E.P 7.0 with CRM 5.0 and configured CRM PCUI business package.
    We have a role called <b>accounts and products</b> in portal. So accounts can be searched in this role.
    Now our severity issue is for one of the super user,for ex su1, accounts search is not working in portal but the same is working in CRM GUI.
    for example if we search for an account 233445(or any other account) in portal its showing no data found but if we search with the same criteria data is displaying CRM GUI.
    We have checked with other 2 super ids. Both ends portal and gui search is working fine.
    Am unable to figure out whats the cause of the issue as search is not working only for one user su1 .
    we have checked by restarting the server also to clear the memory cache.But still search is not working in portal.
    Could anyone of u please advice ASAP as this is severity issue.

      I have checked both the users credentials,permissions,groups in the GUI and also in the portal.
      Both of the users profiles are assigned as same.

    According to your post, my understanding is that after client upgraded to Office 2013 the option for Upload multiple document was grayed out.
    I try to reproduce the issue in my environment, however everything works well.
    My configuration of system is:
    Windows 8.1;
    IE11;
    Office 2013 32bit.
    Please repair the Office 2013 to check whether it works.

  • Save button is not working for ONE CLICK ACTION

    We have embeded a custom table view in a standard component.While we are editing the first row of the table view by ONE CLICK ACTION & pressing the SAVE button of overview page,then the record is saved in the database. But if we edit any row other than the 1st one,the save button is not working.
    We have used transaction context here for simple object.
    lv_tx_ctxt = lr_ent_bt->get_transaction( ).
    my_tx_context->add_tx_context( lv_tx_ctxt ).
    Please suggest how we can focus on the current line which we are editing & can save the record in database?

    Probabaly this is not my problem. I know that how bt one click we can get the desired row.
    Let me briefly explain you my requirement and currently where I am stuck.
    I have a assignment block ( custom) in the main overview page with a custom table view ( ie in the view we are displayng entries in the table view ) and the user can press edit button on any row and that will open the particular row in edit mode . User will change the value in any of the columns and press save button on the main component and the custom changes will be saved in the database.
    Now the problem that we are facing is when we are chnaging the first row it si working but when we are doing chnages in the 2nd row or 3rd row changes are not saved ( not even in the table view that is getting displayed) .
    *Let me briefly tell you the approach that we took  . Since our table view uses a simple object  ( which is not a related object with BTORDER so we need to explicitly save the simple object entities to transaction context and for doing that we have redefined the eh_onsave method in the overview page) .
    *Now the save button is in overview page so to pass the entry from our custom table view to overview we are using custom controller . The custom controller 's collection wrapper only has the first entry of the table view custom_controller->collection_wrapper->get_next is failing which is the reason why the 2nd entry is not getting saved.
    Can you tell me how i can get all the table entries in my custom controller's collection wrapper?

  • Report Export - Spreadsheet not working for one User: ECC6, SAPGUI710

    Hi,
    Our setup: SAP ECC6, Solaris10, Oracle 10g, SAPGUI Patch 9
    Normal download like List ->export ->Local file is working
    But when user click excel icon (list ->export->spreadsheet) it is not working and even it is not giving any error message.
    Only one user ID we are getting problem, all other user ids are ok.
    There is no issue with his work station or SAP GUI patch level as for other user id on his workstation export function is working fine. One more info with this problematic user id export function is not working in any workstation.
    Any thing we need to do with user parameters/user settings or authorization????
    Anyone faced this problem eralier . . .

    It is not hte problem with workstation, as for other user ids on his workstation working fine. Also with his user id on other machines also not working.
    Regarding trace in ST01, how to switch the trace for other users as there is no user selection option???
    Is it ok if I procedd as below:
    1. ST01 -> Edit menu ->Write to database
    2. Selected all trace components
    2. General Filters ->under "Trace for User Only" I give this problematic user id.
    3. From menu "Goto" ->"Save Trace file in" I give this user id, client and time
    But I am getting following message when I click "Analysis"
    No records that correspond to these search criteria found

    We have CRM Service scenario implemented with PCUI screens. For one particular user, GoTo button does not work on her PC. When I login as her on my PC then it works. So something wrong with her PC or Internet Explorer. What should I look for?

    Hi Manish,
    It means you are getting a JavaScript error. It will be seen on the left corner of your browser. Please compare your IE setting with your colleagues IE settings. This should solve the problem. Incase you still get the problem then try to refresh the screen. The problem should not be there.

  • Web Services Returns Runbook Not Found For One User, Not for another

    i am using Web Service to start runbooks.  most users are successful.  but one user gets an error "runbook not found".  the IIS logs show identical requests to the web service, except for the different username.  the user
    is an administrator on the machine and is a member of the OrchestratorUsersGroup.  is there some other group that the user should be a member of to run web services? 

    Maybe the user has deniad Access to the Runbook, check in Runbook Designer.

    We can do as follows:
    1. We can create a new user with the same permissions as the user who can not see the calendar selection button.
    Then use the new user login site and see whether the issue occurs.
    2. Use the new user to debug your code.
    3. Use IE8 to check whether the calendar selection button appears.

  • ESS Portal - Timesheet not displaying for one user

    Hello, I have a user who has always been able to access their timesheet via the ESS Portal but now when he clicks on the link for his timesheet all that returns is a blank web page.  There are no errors, and it's not a browser issue because no one else is experiencing this issue and we've tried various browsers, all with the same result. 
    We have single sign on set up for the ESS Portal, and there is a role assigned to the user in core for them to access their timesheet via the portal. 
    This role has not been changed, and if it was, it would seem that all users would have been affected.
    Does anyone know what I can check on the backend (HR master data, payroll, etc.) that would effect the timesheet for a specific user?
    As well, is there anything I should check on the portal for this user which would affect the timesheet being displayed?

    1. Review if his timesheet is being generated in the back-end (transaction PT61). If the time statement is generated in this transaction, the problem lies in the portal display.
    2. If the time statement is not generated in this transaction, run transaction PT_ERL00 to review if there are any time evaluation errors for this employee. This report will show all error messages generated for each personnel number.
    3. After reviewing errors, grab hold of a time management consultant and have him/her run time evaluation for this employee. Repeat from step 1 again.

  • Default cost center not appearing for certain users

    Hi Gurus,
    We are on SRM 4.0 classic scenario.
    For certain users when they create SC in SRM the default cost center is not automatically taken into account even if they change it to it. The default cost center was changed for these users and some of them still refer to the old cost center no. which was maintained for them.
    The users are not defective and the except the cost center all other attributes work fine. I have tested by deleting & recreating new BP no. for the users but it still doesnt help. Please advise.
