Exception with (Unknown Source), possible to specify source file?

Hi, I'm getting exceptions of the kind
java.lang.NullPointerException
at blockworld.EnvView.paintComponent(Unknown Source)The class EnvView is loaded from a .jar at runtime (it's a plugin-like construction). Is it possible to tell the VM where my source files are so that it shows at what file/line nr this exception occurred? Or do I need to compile the .jar in a special way to include such information?

I have the same question. However, I think the problem is not related to the IDE. I am having the same output with a webapp.
Tomcat console does not show me the source line number of the exception. Is the re any way to link the WAR file to the actual source code?

No. Sorry about that. I got many request for that but I simply do not have
time. However, in the latest sample code available online I try to have
comments in English. I guess it help some of you. Concerning the Exception
source code, sure comments are in French but the code is pretty old (see the
download page, 01/04/01). However, read it twice. Should not be that hard to
figure out how to use TRY, CATCH and THROW

XML Sax Exception with 9.2.0.5 express*.jar files for Olap API

I was using the olap_api_92.jar that
came with jdeveloper for the olap api and having a coding problem.. In trying to see
if I could resolve the previous problem, I set my classpath to use the jar files provided with the 9.2.0.5
install for AiX.. all beginning with express*.jar
I now get an XML parsing error that I can't fix..
which jar is good, the olap_api_92.jar seems to work..

Is there possible to specify the source ip address used for Radius

I have a cat6509 configured to talk to Radius server (ACS), as I understood that the IP address used by Cat6k to talk to ACS is by using the nearest interface ip, can i explicitly specify the source address used by Cat6k in this case ?

I am not clear whether you are asking about talking to Radius from the switch or from the MSFC? If it is from the MSFC you are correct that by default it will use as source address the address of the outbound interface. On the MSFC you can use the command: ip radius source-interface to specify what address to use.
On the switch I think that it will source its packets to Radius using the management/console IP address rather than the outbound interface. So no command is needed to specify the source interface.

We traced the issue to a new data source that was added were we found that along with the the expected jndi name entry in the jdbc xml file, there were two blank entries:

<jndi-name></jndi-name>
The data source was deleted, consoles restarted, the data source recreated and the issue occured again. To get by the issue we had to manually remove the blank tags from the xml file.
We created 2 new data sources, and it only happened on the one. The same data source each time. Additionally, this issue did not occur when these changes were made in our lower (development, qa) regions.
The version is the same in all three regions.

Yes, this is a common issue and documented in Oracle Docs:
WebLogic Server: Getting "weblogic.common.ResourceException: is already bound" exception with JDBC JNDI name (Doc ID 1154250.1)
The only fix is that you need to remove the empty value entries.

Is it possible to have source and target schema in the same DB instance ?

I'm using Oracle 11gR1.
I have switched source locations from other server to the one with OWB.
During deploy I get VLD-3064 and I can't deploy mapping because of many 'table or view does not exist' warnings.
Is it possible to have source and target schemas in the same instance ??

1. Are the any special privilages I need to set ? Currently I have only 'RESOURCE' and 'CONNECT' (I think I didn't have to add any other privs when that schema was located on other instance...)
2. Also VLD-3064 states that : 'Owning and referenced location of this connector are on the same database instance. Unless explicitly referenced in configuration settings no generated code will use the dataabase link resulting from deployment of this connector'. Does it mean I have to put something in configuration ?

This is developer from Autodesk. We get this compile error from time to time. This is a sporadic failure. We can't find any issue in our own project.

To correct this error
Compile the program again to      see if the error recurs.
If the error continues, save      your work and restart Visual Studio.
If the error continues, restart      the computer.
If the error recurs, reinstall      Visual Basic.
If the error persists after      reinstallation, notify Microsoft Product Support Services.
My question is what the root cause for this issue. Could you please give us some explanation where the issue should be, VB compiler? .Net Framework?

TED chained applications with same source path produce large distribution file

Hello,
after using an application successful in my central location I want to
distribute it - what's the problem: The application itself contains 13
simple msi installations as dependent....
So what happens: The source path contains 13 msi files, the
distribution file contains all files for every application...even if
they are the same...
I was curious about not getting the gather finished, instead I got a
"volume almost out of space" message.
My question: Is this working as designed, will it be changed (it doesnt
make sense to distribute the same files multiple times...), is it a bug
only?:)
I'm going to put the msi into different subfolders now (change of
source path, origin path is needed too...) - I think this would work
well as a workaround, however I would like to know if it's designed
that way - so you have to take care not to share any folders or
subfolders...

hard to get right now..had to remove the old apps...
Trying to explain short:
- 13 small msi install applications, every source in a different folder
now
- "package" application (call it "PACKAGE")-> associated to selected
workstations (or ws group), start menu/desktop to do a manual install,
this app doesn't do anything except having the 13 dependent
applications
- "update" application (thats what I named "3rd"...sorry for the
confusing name;))-> associated to all workstations, set to force run if
special conditions are met (so something showing one of the partial
apps is outdated, the partial app will have a new version number
assigned). This application had the dependent app "PACKAGE" -> worked
fine in local distribution but would start to distribute the apps 1-13
again....(?not sure)
Finally I came to a general conclusion: If you have some special basic
application (lets say dot-net 3.0, 2.0 etc..., a special patch) that
might be required for different applications -> it's not a good idea to
use msi for this one because it will distribute with every app using it
as a dependent app. I will go to distribute file sources, the app calls
msiexec so nothing will be distributed for this part...

In ID File sender I have specified Source Directory:-
IP Address\Directory
I am geeting the Error in RWB as 'Configured source directory '
IP Address\Directory' does not exist'.
Please suggest how to specify the Source Directory path.

Hi,
If you want to use NFS protocol, then the file needs to be within the a folder in the XI server and not outside it, In your case if you need to use the file in a different machine which is on a network then try to use the FTP protocol.

how to specify source of supply in planning version In the planning version, you can define for PP/DS whether the system may create a procurement proposal if no valid sources of supply are available.
I want to create procurement proposal without source of supply .where i need to specify in planning version.please help me

Generally i am getting these warning msg in log.when i am triggering for GATP
For other materials i am not getting these msgs( /sapapo/rrp518)I am able to trigger gatp.
Do you think any other settings at material level are missing .please suggest
Secondly i am also getting warning msg as component bjac905(material) can not be planned for second time cycle msg (/sapapo/rrp322)

Requirement to load data with extension as .inv.dhl of source to target as .csv

Hi Rajendra, Though the file extension says it is of type .inv.dhl, the actual contents of the file is of type XML and it's valid too as said by AnjiReddy. I would suggest import/create your source definition from the source file by using 'Source > Import from XML Definition' menu option and use xml parser tx and go ahead with your rest of business logic within the mapping and connect to the CSV file target. Ctios exited with unknown exit/exception code 80

I'm seeing random disconnects for CTIOS service on one of my PG's.
From the CTIOS_nm:
CTIOS1-nm Process ctios on ICM\xxxx\CTIOS1 went down for unknown reason. Exit code 0x80. It will be automatically restarted.
1 CTIOS1-nm Trace: main: noticed process ctios handle 188 exited with unknown exit/exception code 80
MDS just shows this:
Unexpected disconnect from client ctios1b.
Last EMT Error [-519897069]: The remote process has exited.
Client ctios1b registered with handle 166.
Client ctios1b started.
Nothing telling in the windows app logs either.

After further try and error, using the following alternative method of setting a dataset works:
CrystalDecisions.ReportAppServer.DataDefModel.ISCRDataSet crDataset = CrystalDecisions.ReportAppServer.DataSetConversion.DataSetConverter.Convert(m_XmlInfo.CustomDataSet);
report.ReportClientDocument.DatabaseController.SetDataSource(crDataset, string.Empty, string.Empty);
