  • - How to Check Exchange Rate History -

    Hi,
Is anybody knows the name of the "exchange rate history table", for I would like to check which user have modify the rate, in which I can't check it in change log. Thanks for your help and time.
    Cheers,
    serene

    Dear,
It is the sytem current behaviors that "show history function" doesn't work for Exchange Rates and index window.
But You could run the Financials > Exchange Rate Differences report to check the difference.
In the Selection Criteria, set Execution Date 01/08 and
select used Currency. The Exchange Rate Differences window will show the difference for each BPs and Accounts, to double click the one line, Line Details will show the all transactions for each account.
There are some differences if the transaction use old exchange rate (such as 0.1234) since we have the current exchange rate (such as 0.1238)
If the transaction use the new exchange rate 0.1238, then the difference will show as 0.
Wish the information could solve your issue.

  • How to view changes to expense reports

I am trying to find a way of viewing changes to an Expense Report.
In PR05 there is a history but it does not provide details about the change. I have also looked at PRTE and cluster AEND but again this does not provide the details that our business users require.
Does anyone know if there is any other way of viewing the detail of changes to an Expense Report?
On a related issue we have found that in PR05 the approver name is showing as the workflow user rather than the user ID of the person who approved the trip in the Portal. Can this be changed to the actual approver ?
Thanks for any help with this
    Stephanie

    Hi,
I think T-code PRTE provides only screen level changes (i.e who , when creates, save or updates by whome)
For detail level changes in expense reports you need to activate Define History and Archiving of Forms
    V_T702N_R26_R27
Please note that this is ONLY available with EHP5 BC 605 FIN_TRAVEL_3
    Following is help available
    _________________________________________________________________________Use
In this step, you can activate the following functions:
    History
If you activate logging of history, the system logs the changes to travel requests and expense reports. Users can display the history in the following user interfaces:
Personal object worklists (POWL) for travelers, assistents, and approving managers on the Web Dynpro ABAP-based user interface of Travel Management
Transactions of the travel expense report in SAP GUI; for example, in the Travel Expense Manager (transaction PR05) or in the Travel Calendar (transaction PR02)
If you do not activate logging of history, the system automatically logs the changes made to expense reports (as in earlier releases). Users can display the change history only in the transactions of the travel expense report in SAP GUI.
Storage of Travel and Expense Forms in the Archive
If you have activated logging of history, you also can define that the travel request forms and expense report forms are to be automatically archived when certain events occur. You can determine which of the following events triggers the archiving of a form:
When processing of a changed travel request or expense report is handed over from the user who makes the change to another user
When the status of the travel request or expense report changes
When a user saves the travel request or expense report
You can archive the Adobe PDF forms or HTML forms for travel requests and expense reports, but not the forms for travel plans. If you use an ABAP list form, the system first converts this form to an HTML form and then archives the HTML form.
In the following activities you define which kinds of forms the system uses:
For travel requests, see Define Enterprise-Wide Control Parameters and attribute HTMLFORM_R_P.
For expense reports, see Travel Expenses Control (Expert View), Other Settlement, field 24.
    Requirements
The following prerequisites must be met:
You have activated the updating of statistical data when trips are saved; see Define Structure of Trip Statistics.
You have made the basic settings for ArchiveLink; see Basic Customizing for ArchiveLink.
    Note:
If you want to archive Adobe PDF forms, the document type PDF under Edit Document Classes must contain an entry with MIME type application/pdf.
If you want to archive HTML forms, the document type HTML under Edit Document Classes must contain an entry with MIME type text/html.
    Standard settings
By default, history logging is not activated.

  • Opening expense report

I just want to open and print my company expense report form. It looks fine on the page but it won't print on one page. It wants to print half on one page and half on the other.

You mean "It looks fine on the screen."
The Numbers window, by default, gives you a scrollable view of the entire sheet, which when printed, may occupy several pages.
To see what your document will look like on paper, press option-command-P, or go to the View menu and choose Show Print View.
At the bottom of the Print View window, you'll find a slider control with which you can scale the content to fit onto a single page.
You may also find the Sheet Inspector useful for adjusting margins to allow a larger print area on the page.

  • Exchange Rate Comparison ( SD )

    Hi All,
I need to develop an Exchange Rate Comparison Report.
The selection sciteria should allow for:
    - a range of From and To Currency Codes
    - 2 dates for comparison.
The Exchange Rate Type would be 'M'.
I need the Exchange Rate and the Translation Ratio in the output.
Would Exchange Rate be the field TCURR-UKURS?
And also how do I calculate the Translation Ratio?
Any help will highly be appreciated.......

Find Rate Based on Amounts, Currency Keys and Date
A translation rate is determined from the amounts entered. As the rate
is also dependent on the units of each individual currency, (e.g. a
DEM/ITL rate of 1.67 with the units 1 DEM and 1000 ITL means that 1 DEM
is equal to 1670 ITL), table TCURR must also be read before the rate can
be established. For this, you need both currency keys, an exchange rate
type and a validity date. The factors determined in this way are
transferred to the calling program along with the determined rate. If
exchange rate fixing is defined for exchange rate type TYPE_OF_RATE,
this information is transferred to the calling program. If one amount is
calculated from the other even where a fixed exchange rate is used, this
amount is returned instead of the rate calculated.
    Example call-up:
       CALL FUNCTION 'CALCULATE_EXCHANGE_RATE'
         EXPORTING   DATE             = BKPF-WWERT
                     FOREIGN_AMOUNT   = BSEG-WRBTR
                     FOREIGN_CURRENCY = BKPF-WAERS
                     LOCAL_AMOUNT     = BSEG-DMBTR
                     LOCAL_CURRENCY   = T001-WAERS
                     TYPE_OF_RATE     = 'M'
    IMPORTING
               EXCHANGE_RATE    = KURS
                 FOREIGN_FACTOR   = FAKTOR-F
                 LOCAL_FACTOR     = FAKTOR-L
    Exceptions
                 NO_RATE_COMPUTABLE = 4
                 NO_RATE_FOUND      = 8
                 NO_FACTORS_FOUND   = 12.
try this...with date taking from the select-options and pass it to every time in a loop.

  • How can the exchange rate of a sales document can be added in PA report?

    Hi!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The main issue, is that I have to add  the ammount of  the sales document in the "sales document currency" , I already have it in local currency, so I was trying to add the exchange rate  and create a fomula it in the form in order to get the information.
Do somebody knows if it has to be created as a characteristic or value fied? How do I know if it has to be created an enhancement?
    Thanks!!!!!

    Hi
As far as my knowledge goes, you cant add the exchange rate of the sales order to your COPA report
Whatever currency is posted in your FI, only that currency can come into COPA plus your op concern currency...
If it is so imperative in your case to report the transaction currency, You can, may be, think of creating one custom char (for Currency Code USD or INR, etc) and one value field and you can update them using user exit in COPA (COPA000*)... In this VF and Char, you can update, say 100 as the value and USD as the currency...
Or may be wait for other suggestions from group members

  • SGD Exchange Rate Difference JE appears in Customer Aging Report

    Dear Experts,
    SAP Version: 8.81
    Local Currency: SGD
We perform Exchange Rate Difference for a USD BP to calculate the unrealized gain/loss during month-end, JE created successfully.
Next, we go to Customer Aging Report and select this USD BP.
When i choose to view the Aging Report in Local Currency, the USD Invoice will appear in SGD + Exchange Rate Difference JE in SGD, the total balance can appear in SGD with no problem.
When i choose to view the Aging Report in BP Currency, the USD Invoice will appear in USD + Exchange Rate Difference JE in SGD, i can't see the total balance as it is appeared as xxxxx.
Above is the behaviour in 881.
Last time in SAP 2005, when i choose to view the Aging Report in BP Currency, the Exchange Rate Difference JE in SGD will not appear, therefore i can see the total balance in USD.
What is your opinion about the behavior in 881? Will you consider it as design or issue?
    Thanks.

    Dear all,

  • Asking Exchange rate at the time of Customer aging report

    Dear All,
I am facing one problem, when I am asking customer aging report the system is asking to enter exchange rate.but at the time of vendor aging is working fine does not asking any exchange rate, this problem happens only one specific  user, not for other users.
In other users it is working fine.Do we need to do any configuration for that user for working this customer aging report.
Please give solution as soon as possible
    Thanks advance.
    Regards
    Komanduri.

We faced the same problem today.
Finally, we found out the user accidentally selected the currency which we didn't set the exchange rate in the aging report.
After the aging report is generated, we can change the currency in the upper left corner.
If we didn't set the rate of that currency, it will keep asking.
Even if we close the aging report and open again, it  will still ask for that currency before it could generate the report
When we set the rate of that currency, it will not ask exchange rate again

  • Changing Mileage "Currency Exchange" Rate in Expense

I've recently upgraded to Palm Desktop 4.1.4 which removed Expense from my programs... although I found it in the Palm Desktop program! (I use MS Outlook).
The old version would download to the Sample1 MS Excel sheet, which is my preference, if possible. I'm no Excel guru, so I can't figure that out.
Anyway, Palm Desktop Expense has the default for expense mileage at $1 per mile. I wish I got that! I have been unable to change that exchange rate to the .40 going rate. I've been all over the palmOne site looking for help.
    Thank you!
    Post relates to: Palm m515

I found the answer... and you're right, I don't think the techs read this forum.. mostly because having talked to them a couple of times on the phone, I'm not sure they can read english.
Besides, with the sale of palm now, I doubt the Palm really gives a too hoots about the users anyway...
    So, to answer the question:
In Palm Desktop 4.1, (yes, the last version from the most recent) you would select mileage in your palm and enter the data...
Then when sync'ing, in Expense, you'd click on the entry and then go to the bottom to the conversion icon (looks like 3 stacks of coins) next to the total...
Then you could click on "Adjust Currency Rates" and another pop-up would appear allowing you to adjust $1 = mi _____
Apparently this is broken in 4.1.4.
    Hooray Palm!
THIS is how you kept losing market share to WinBlowsCE.
Pat yourselves on the back for a job poorly done!!
    See ya guys,
    -Ben

  • Exchange rate and PO printing form

    Hi Experts
I hale problem with PO printing form.
I have to add one field to layout. Itu2019s exchange rate. We have price condition defined in inforecord  in USD. This price is change to local currency, and based on this system calculated value of the item, and pots it to EKPO-NETPR.
I know that exchange rate is visible in deep structure DOC-XTKOMV[1]-KKURS when function module ME_PRINT_PO of printing program is execute.
I think then it should be moved to KOMVD, when item data are printed, but when I add to form &KOMVD-KKURS& itu2019s printing nothing.
Why exchange rate is not print?  How to stop debugger when system try to fulfilled variable &KOMVD-KKURS& ?
    Thanks
    Pawel

In EKKO-WKURS I have always value 1.0 because document currency is locals. Foreign currency is only in price condition value.
So the question is still open...

  • Report inventory at Historical exchange rate

Can any tell me if it is possible to report inventory at Historical exchange rates using standard SAP?
thanks in advance for all help.
    -Mahantesh Nashi

    Hi
To understand why the system behaves in that way, the most important
thing is to understand how area 01 is posting its values:
As you will know, area 01 is the only area that is posting its values
"online" (this means that APC values will be updated in the G/L directly
when posting to an asset). It is a technical matter that this "Online"-
posting will always be done to ALL(!) ledgers that are defined in the
company code. So whatever Ledger group you assign to depreciation area
01, this will not be considered by any APC value posting, APC
transactions (as well as write-ups) will always be posted in ANY ledger
group in G/L with the values from area 01.
If you then want to setup a scenario in Fixed Asset Accounting, where
you post different valuations (local GAAP / IFRS) to a different ledger
group in G/L for parallel valuation, then you have to use (in total) 3
depreciation areas in the following way. For each additional "valuation"
for which you have additional ledgers defined in G/L, and for which you
want to get different values as those posted in area 01, you need also
two additional depreciation areas (1 real and 1 derived area) in
    asset accounting.
So a typical dep.area setting for a parallel ledger is like:
               Real      Posting to G/L         Ledger
    Area 01     X            1                   0L
Area XX     X            3                   XX (your ledger code)
Area YY                  6                   XX (your ledger code)
Acquisition/transf/retirement postings in area 01 go to all ledgers
independently of your setting in OADB. And, if any difference occurs
between area 01 an area XX this is posted trough the derived area YY
    (posting indicator 6).

  • One Conversion Type and two Exchange Rate Types in one report

I have Conversion Type called TEST. In this Conversion Type there is Exchange Rate Type D selected (D-daily). I have also Fixed Target Currency selected. And the report works perfectly fine....BUT.......there is also Exchange Rate Type M defined in the system (and it used for the exchange rate used last day of the month).
The question is: how to put both Exchange Rate Types into one Conversion Type so both types are used in the reports?

    Hi,
You can go for a variable exchange rate type.
    Creating variable:
For this you have create a varible which can take diffrent exchange rate types.
Open query designer create a new dummy query in that search for infoprovider 0RTYPE.
It will have one dimension(name ->key) with 0RTYPE in it.
    create a variable for 0RTYPE.
    Save and close the query.
goto RSCUR -> give your translation type -> go to exchange rate tab -> choose Ex. Rate from var option -> give the variable you have created prviously for 0RTPYE.
Rest all same but just for completion...
Go to your query in which in u want to do cur conversion.
Double click on the key fig
Go to conversions tab-> select the conversion type u created in RSCUR.
When you run the query you can select the exchange rate type in the variable screen.

  • Exchange rate conversion in Expense claim

    HI there
The user community for my travel variant would like to enter both the foreign currency amount and the converted amount i.e. this would cause the actual exchange rate to be calculated as opposed to the converted amount being calculated. Is this possible and if so, how?
We are working through the ESS portal so this would need to be an ESS setting/config.
    Thanks and regards
    Linda

    Hi,
    Yes. This can be done.
In the expense claim portal, you will have a push button called Enter expenses. That is where the traveller will claim his expenses via expense type.
In standard, you will have lots of columns there. For your requirement, these two columns named Expenses Currency and Local amount should be visible.
    Please follow the path :
Spro > Financial Accounting (new) > Travel Management > Employee Self-Services > Interface Configuration for Web Dynpro Interface in Travel Management > Schema and Single Field Control for Web Dynpro.
    1. Select Your Trip provision variant
    2. Drill down your trip schema
    3. Drill down Return Value According to Feature TRVFD
    4. Drill down Web Interface (Travel Expenses Only)
    5. Drill down Trip Receipts
    6. Select PTRV_UTIL_BELEG-BETRG, PTRV_UTIL_BELEG-BLDAT , PTRV_UTIL_BELEG-WAERS on the right side of the screen, make sure standard format is selected.
    7. Select the other fields and select Alternative display type and remove the tick mark from field is visible.
You will be able to find the local currency amount there. The exchange rate is picked from TCURR table. Maintain rates accordingly
    Trust this helps.
    Best Regards,
    Raj
