Exclude Sales Order line from ASCP

Hi,
I have a model which is make at the factory. The same model can be used to purchase from outside.
If it is purchased from outside, the Sales order line will be progressed to create a Purchase Order.
If the purchase order is created then the demand and supply will match. But there are cases that the Sales ORder is created but the purchase order is not raised.
How do I restrict the Sales Order line from ASCP? Please advise.

Hi,
My understanding of your requirement is
1. If the Model is made inhouse, then you want the ASCP to consider this sales order
2. If the model is Purchased and a PO is created them you still want the SO to be collected by ASCP.
3. If the model is purchases but PO is not created, then you do not want ASCP to collect this sales order
Am I correct in this? If yes, can you help me understand
At what stage a buy or make decision on the model is made?
And how does one know that the sales order is Manufactured or purchased? Do you have any attribute/DFF to identfy this or a seperate order type?
One easier way is to exclude SO is to go thru the datahook and exclude the sales orders based on the requirement.
Hope this helps
Regards
Sudeep

  • Exclude sales order value from Credit exposure

    Hi Experts:
Can I only credit limit for a customer by Receivables(AR)??

    Desh Shwan
Check the configuration Credition Control Area, you will find update group. Each Update group has different meaning and updates the document accordingly
         No update from SD documents
000012     Open order value on time axis, delivery and bill.doct value
000015     Open delivery and billing document value
000018     Open delivery value for sales order, open billing doct value
blank means No Update from SD Documents and
and 000015 open sales orders are excluded, but as delivery are commitments and which should have been billed it takes into account delivery.
I think 000015 will suit your requirement

  • Change pricing UOM for sales order line

    Hi,
I'm on release 12 and would like to have a sales order which is ordered in pieces and priced in meters.
Therefore I want to have a sales order line with order quantity UOM in pieces and the pricing quantity UOM in meters.
I'm however not able to change the pricing UOM in the sales order line form.
Is there anyway in which I can change the pricing UOM in the sales order line form without changing the order quantity UOM?
Or should the order quantity UOM always have the same value as the pricing quantity UOM ?
    Regards,
    Jan

    Hi Vinoth,
    Thanks for your reply.
I'm able to create sales order with order quantity UOM in pieces and with price quantity UOM in meters.
The issue I have is that I want to be able to change the price quantity UOM to another UOM just like I'm able to do with the order quantity UOM.
This is required because we want to have pricing for European customers in meters and for US customers in feet. At the moment the vaue of the price quantity UOM defaults to meters for the sales order line but I want to change this manually to feet for US customers.
What I would like is that I can change the price quantity UOM of a sales order line from meters to feet just like I can change the order quantity UOM from pieces to for example boxes.
When I use the sales order line form or when I use the order API, I'm now not able to change the price quantity UOM.
Is is possible to change the price quantity UOM from a sales order line to another UOM (and therefore overwrite the default price quantity UOM) ?

  • How to exclude Sales Orders from a planning run

    Hi,
I run MD02 and i discover that planned orders are being created as procurement proposals for sales orders and the planned independent requirement.
I want planned order to be created only for the Planned independent requirements ONLY.
Is there a way that sales orders can be excluded from the planning run?
Thanks in advance for your suggestions.

    Dear,
Check the requirement type of your sales order line item in VA02 procurement tab it should be Reqmt type of customer reqmt   KSL
Also check the strategy assign in material master and MRP group OPPR and then check the setting of strategy 10 in OPPS there should be
    Customer Requirement planning
Reqmt type of customer reqmt   KSL  Sale frm stck w/o ind.req.red.
Requirements class  030  Sale from stock
Allocation indicat.     No consumption with customer requirements
No MRP   :-               1 Requirement not planned, but display.
    Please try and come back.

  • How to create multiple WIP jobs from a single Sales Order Line

    Hi all,
I want to know if there's a standard way to create multiple single unit wip jobs from a sales order line which has 2 or more units, i mean...
I have a sales order line with item A with 3 units. If I progress the sales order, a single job is automatically created in WIP with 3 units to be created. What i want is to create 3 jobs with one unit each, all of them linked to the sales line order...
    Thanks in advance!
    Regards!

    Assuming simplest of scenarios....
In case of changes to Sales order qty, an unplanned order will simply disappear.
If a wip job has already been created, you will get a cancel message (in case the job is not needed) or a reschedule out message (if the quantity needs to be reduced).
ASCP will give you a reschedule in /out message if the dates change.

  • Exclude sales orders based on sales order type from CTM planning run

    Dear people,
We have sales orders in R/3 with custom sales order types, like ZE01, ZE02 etc.
These sales orders are CIFed to APO and all sales orders have ATP category BM. We use CTM and we want to exclude sales order with sales order type ZE01, is this possible?
Which enhancement could be used to exclude sales orders with selection on sales order type?

  • Profit center derivation from sales order line item  - R/3 4.7

    Hi,my scenario is below
FI document generated from billing is as
DR:GL1 - its not customer AR,because i post amount to one GL instead customer  (profit center is dummy)
    CR:GL2  (profit center is correct)
i can see profit center in sales order line item and billing line item, why that profit center not copy to GL1?can someone advise, thanks
    Best regards
    renhua

    Hi phaneendra Reddy ,
The substitution rule is to determine profit center in sales order line item, not for FI document.right?
because i can see correct profit center in sales order.
i know if i post debit site to customer AR,will execute a periodic run to transfer AR to profit center, but now i post debit site to a GL,dont know how to get profit center

  • Copying text from CMIR (KNMT) to the Sales Order Line Item

We need to copy text from the CMIR (KNMT) to the Sales Order Line Item with two steps in the access sequence. First to look up by the Ship to Partner Function.  If doesn't exist, then look up by Sold to Partner Function.  Have setup a new text id (ZPRN), a new access seq (9011).  The access seq has one seq =5 for KNMT, ZPRN, all languages and that saves fine.  When I set the Partner Function to be SH.  I get the following error msg:
"The Language does not come from the partner function AG for MVKE".
Any ideas?  This access seq does not reference MVKE. It only references KNMT.
    Thanks!

    Hi Lisa,
Just stumbled on this post, as I am searching for something similar.
What you are attempting to do isn't possible in config.
This is because as standard Customer Material Info Records are not even considered for ship-to party in the sales order.
    They work for sold-to only.
Therefore, this funny error message is SAP's way of saying, "Why are you trying to enter a partner here, because the data is determined for sold to only?"
You can change this with development for other fields (ie, to determine delivery plant, tolerances etc at ship-to) by using
the exit MV45AFZB with the USEREXIT_CUST_MATERIAL_READ form.
However, even if you do this, Text Determination is still sold-to only and still doesn't behave.
I am currently looking myself for a solution for this problem and I will let you know what I find.
    Cheers
    Chris

  • Material Variant configuration in sales order line item from Ztable

    Hello Experts,
we have configurable material and and creating sales order. from sales order line item if we goto configuration we can maintain variant configurations. My requirement is that when i click on configuration after selecting a line item i need to check ztable where i have material no and and relable text. if an entry exists i have to populate this relable text in one of the configuration filed. Can any one help how can i read and update configuration in sales order level and where to do this coding so that when i click on configuration the value from ztable populated in a field.
    Many thanks in advance.

    Hi Senthil,
    It is simple.
When you create a characteristic which should have the value maintained in the Z table, go to the tab values. Here you have a push button called "Other Value check". Here you click this button and select the function module option. Now, in the window, you will have a place where you can mention the name of teh function module.
You create a function module with the help of your developer to find out the text maintained in the Z table using teh rules you have in your mind and update that logic in the characteristic. In the earlier screen, you just have to mention the name of the function module, thats all, your work is done.
Now when you configure, for this characteristic, the value will be automatically determined using teh function module. You have to create such characteristics as "Not ready for input" ones in additional data for which you cannot enter values manually.
    Hope this helps.

  • Error retrieving BOM type from sales order line matrix

    Hi All
I have a problem with an add-on which works in SBO version 2007 but now fails in version 8.8. The fault occurs when the code attempts to retrieve the BOM type from the sales order line matix as follows:
    objCombo = mtxOrder.Columns.Item("39").Cells.Item(intCount).Specific
    strBomType = objCombo.Selected.Value
Where mtxOrder represents the sales order line marix extracted from form type 139
Under version 8.8 this code generates an error "unable to cast COM object ... to interface type SAPbouiCOM.ComboBox ....". If the code is replaced by the following, the error does not occur.
    objEditBox = mtxOrder.Columns.Item("39").Cells.Item(intCount).Specific
    strBomType = objEditBox.Value
Any assistance or explanation would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks
    David

It just looks to me like it was a combo box in the 2007 version and has been changed to just be an edit text in 8.8... from what you have explained anyways, that seems to be what is happening. Sometimes there are small changes like this - it's better to directly access the datasource so you can avoid being hit with these sort of changes
    so for example
    strBomType = oForm.Datasources.DbDataSources.Item("RDR1").GetValue(TreeType, i);
//where i is the linenumber-1 in the matrix

  • ECC report for sales order status from order entry to Invoice (OTC rpt)

    Dear All.
Looking to see if there's a standard report or transaction that we can use to review sales order line item status.
VA05 provides a good view from sales, and VL06O provides a good view from LE, and VF05 provides a good view from billing.
But there is there something that would list sales orders and show related quantity, open, delivered, billed all in one report?
    Many thanks!

    Thank you Shiva.
That's what we were thinking as well.  Just wanted to make sure we didn't miss something in case SAP provided a template or customizable program for this.
    Thanks

  • My customer is looking for a comp. open (unbilled) sales order line report

    Hello:
My customer wants a listing of open (unbilled) sales order lines.  List of everything they have ordered and do not have a bill for yet.  That seems to be spread between 'Open' Sales Orders - see VA05 (no outbound delivery created yet) AND outbound deliveries that have not yet been billed - see VL06O with Billing Status not completely processed.
How can both of these be merged into one?
Is there something else that can show this TOTAL picture?
    Thanks.

    Hi,
To show all picture you can go for z report
    Take data from table VBAK,VBAP,LIKP,LIPS,VBRK,VBRP,VBFA
