Please refer below,
Use the execution factor to indicate how many times an operation or sub-operation is to be carried out during processing of an order.
The execution factor refers to the work, the operation duration, the operation quantity and the material quantity.
In simple terms you can say that an execution factor is nothing but a multiplication factor.
Example:
Execution factor = 3
Operation duration = 2 h
Work = 4 h
Material quantity = 1 piece
When you copy a task list to the order the execution factor is automatically multiplied with the fields above. The quantities entered from the task list in the order are then changed as follows (compare with example above):
Example:
Execution factor = 3
Operation duration = 6 h
Work = 12 h
Material quantity = 3 pieces

If the indicator fixed operation quantity was set, the execution factor has no effect. If the indicator fixed lot was set, the material quantity remains unchanged.

i.e.
If the indicator Fixed lot quantity is set (in the component item under General data), the execution factor of the components is not taken into account for the component quantity.
If the indicator Fixed op.quantity is set (on the external processing screen of the operation), the execution factor is not taken into account.

Parallel execution of deferred activities
Dear Workflow experts,
I have a process definition where I set the cost of an activity
to 50, so that it is always deferred by the WF engine. It's a
really costly activity, that takes up to 6 hours to get done
(it's a "function"). About five process instances (items) are
launched every day. I scheduled the Background Agent to run once
a day for processing those activities in background.
Everything works fine, except for one reason: I would like that
all the deferred activities were executed concurrently, since
they are independent to each other. But the Workflow
Engine "serializes" the execution, running one item at a time.
Is there any way of specifying that I would like the Background
Agent to process the items concurrently?
I thought about running more than one instance of the WF
Background Agent simultaneously. Would it work? Is there any
concurrency issue? Further: is there any way for me to specify
that each instance of the Background Agent must process an
specific item (specifying the item KEY)?
My platform is Oracle 8.1.6, Workflow 2.5.1, Solaris.

Powershell, WMIC and remote execution in Tidal
Anyone else leveraging these tools to remotely execute against application/database tiers? We are perfroming basic activities - stop/start service, remote batch file execution, file operational activities. We are trying to simplify our toolsets but in addtion make them more powerful and extend the usabiliuty of tidal in our enterprise. I am wondering what other creative things people have done?
MarcHere's a little more advance technique we put together.. a little trick to do a dynamic varset with powershell w/ API
we detect a file then count the file rows, we then do some math, round the result and set that integer into a number variable (global) this is then used as the seconds in a downstream "sleep" job to dynamically postpone retrieving a return file giving the vendor time to process it through their system and return a file to us.

any body please help me. i am working on assembly processing. when i am creating sales order if order qty when i am giving more then 999 means if i given 1000 kg it giving an error like the exection factor in the network is reduced to 1000 to 1 kg and confimed as 1 kg only where i have tomodify this i am not getting pls suggest me

This is bcoz the 'execution factor' field in activity is 3 places only so max value can be 999. What you can do is split the SO quantity in two line items.

How can we check priority wise execution in BRE
Hi,
I have to check how priority is working in BRE, for this i have created policy with below rules.
Rule1: updateBuyerID(Priority 0): if 1 then 100
Rule2: updateBuyerID(Priority 1): if 2 then 200
Rule3: updateBuyerID(Priority 2): if 3 then 300
Rule4: updateBuyerID(Priority 3): if 4 then 400
any one can explain me how the priority has executed in below test result, however i know it execute from 3 to 0,but i don't see the same in test result .

BRE calculate conditions of all rules in the "quickest" way and programmer cannot control this.
Priorities are related only to the Activities execution. All activities, that passed the condition ("MATCH") go to the Agenda and then they are prioritized and executed.
ALL programmers that start with BRE are trying to control the sequence of the rule conditions. :) It is completely wrong! If you need to control it, go to the .NET and don't use BRE.

The comapny which producing any equipement and anything that is consider as material.ans also that material have serial no along with it. coz company producing the same equipement thats why serial no is neceessary for tracing down the history of manufactured material
Order Processing: Internal Processing
Purpose
You can use the order to detail the work to be performed. This is important to minimize unproductive time, above all for central objects, whose malfunction can lead to bottlenecks or breakdowns in production.
Depending on the type of order and work planned, you can execute planning at different levels of detail:
Small orders (quick entry)
You can enter the required data on the order header screen and do not have to call up a separate operation screen.
Extensive orders (without detailed planning)
You can enter any number of operations in list form on the operation overview screen.
Orders with detailed planning
You can call up detail data screens for each operation, to enter the following data:
Internal processing data (for example, wage data)
External processing data (for example, price, purchasing group)

Processing with an External Company as Work Center
Purpose
For an external company that you regularly hire for the same tasks, you can create a special work center.
This can be advisable if the external company is not situated near to your company, and they process a large number of orders for you.
Prerequisites
You configure a cost center for each external company individually or for all the external companies collectively.
In Controlling (CO), you configure a CO activity type and a price, which reflects the conditions of the purchase order, for the cost center of the external company.
For the external company, you create a work center that is linked with the cost center and the CO activity type.
Since this form of external processing is identical with internal processing during order processing, you assign a control key for internal processing to the operations to be processed externally. In the standard system, this control key is PM01.
Process Flow
You configure an individual purchase order, which has a validity period (for example, one quarter, a year), in which the purchase order conditions are defined. You assign this purchase order to the cost center for the work center that has been created for the external company.
You create the order with operations to be processed externally in exactly the same way as an order with operations to be processed internally. See Creation of an Order.
Print out the order papers.
You hire the external company by sending the printed order papers to the external company or handing them to their employees.
The tasks are performed by the external company.
You confirm the order operations to be processed externally in exactly the same way as internally processed operations.
Steps two to six apply for all orders that are processed within the validity period of the purchase order.
The cost center of the external company is credited following the time confirmation of the operations.
The cost center of the external company can be debited by issuing an invoice periodically (for example, monthly). The invoice therefore includes all the orders performed during this period. After the expiration date, the balance of the cost center is 0.
The costs are first collected on the order and then settled to the receiver specified in the settlement rule.

Hi All
I am doing assembly processing for project with varient configeration
When I create and save sales order for a material taking quantity as 1 a project is being generated for SO with quantity 1 for a material
when I put quantity more than one in SO say 2 , the project is bening generated with quantity for material as 1 ony.
My requirment is the project should get generated with quantity 2 ( equal to SO quantity)
any setting required for transferring quantity of material in SO to project ?

shashankSystem uses execution factor for sales order quantity. Enter execution factor in standard network as '1' ie., the network, activities and materials are assigned for 1 no. of sales order quantity. if your sales order quantity changes to 2, then system will change the execution factor to 2 and so the material quantities in network.

Automatic TO creation and confirmation for a Material document
Hi Dear All,
i am new to MM andWM.
I have to customization for auto transfer orders and confirmations for material documents what ever created with 101 movement type in Inventory Management. I have down configuration like below.
SPRO->Logistics Execution->Warehouse Management->Activities->Transfers-> Set Up Autom. TO Creation for TRs / Posting Change Notices
Double click on control data tab
Hear for my warehouse I given input like Auto TO = 1,
AddId = select check box.
And in Assign control tab for 101 movement type I have given input like below.
Automatic TO = 1.
TO item can be confirmed immed. = tick checkbox
Propose Confirmation = tick checkbox.
Foreground/Backgrnd = D.
After creating of Material document I am executing report RLAUTA10 in SE38.When I execute this report system showing message like TO processing finished: TR total: 17, TO created: 0, Errors: 17.
If I check header details of transfer requirements in LB03, i am not seeing Tick Mark in Auto TO Creation field.
Can any one tell me what the mistake i have down or if i need to do any further configuration. Please help me regarding this concern?

How to split Sales Order line as per partial availability of stocks?
During scheduling of Sales Order line, if ATP window shows onhand stocks less then required quantity and balance quantity is promised as per CTP on dates falling outside request dates.
1) Is there a functionality to split SO lines Automatically basis On Hand Availability?
2) Can we write a rule to split a line so that staggered shipments can be scheduled in future for quantities promised as per CTP ? (i.e rather than promising 1 date, if capacities permit line quantity is split to start shipments at the earliest).
Will appreciate for direct fitment or any workaround solution to resolve above issues.

Here, create a new entry of sort profile for your warehouse with field "POSNR" as 1st sort field.

Define Profiles-Profile for Transfer Order Splitting
Here, create a new entry of Profile for TO split for your warehouse & sort profile of step1.
Step3:
Control for Performance Data Processing / Define TO Split-Performance data control
Assign Profile for TO split of step2 to your warehouse, MVT, Source & Destn st. types. -

Error in Standard SAP movement type 309?

In my opinion this means that if I make an IM movement with movement 309 the material will be picked from a Storage
bin and moved to Storage type 920. After the change the material will be brought back from Storage type 920 to the same Storage bin.
The change will be done with WM Movement type 309 in Storage type 922.
This creates negative stock in both Storage type 920 and 922.
In my opinion this means that if I make an IM movement with movement 311 the material will be picked from a Storage
bin and moved to Storage type 921. After the change the material will be brought back from Storage type 921 to the same Storage bin.
The change will be done with WM Movement type 309 in Storage type 922.
This creates negative stock in both Storage type 920 and 922.
Is this an error in SAP standard? Should I Change the Source and Destination Storage types of Movement types 301,302,311 and 312 to 922?Hi,
Please check wheather the material type of the material belongs to NLAG/UNBW or any other type which will not have qty/value updations for that plant at Attributes of the material type at SPROlOGISTICS GeneralMaterial mastermaterila types

Split transfer order on the basis of Storage Unit type(SUT)
Hi,
I got one problem and want the solution for that immediately.the problem is as follows:-
The transfer Order needs to be split by quantity according to the quantity per Storage Unit Type.
I have to do this making chages in the SAP standard user Exit EXIT_SAPLL03A_12 in the program SAPML03T.
Eg.One scenario is provided
Scenario 1: Perform transaction MIGO with a movement type 101 for Outbound Delivery 80000201. Enter a quantity of 15 kgs.
the result should be as follows:
Scenario 1: Check TOs created by going to transaction LT22. Enter Warehouse number 200; Storage type 902. Select the Dynamic Selections button and select Transfer order Item. Double click on Material and enter the material number (W075006). The SUT is 5kg so the expected result is for 3 TOs to have been created.
Means one TO got splitted in 3 TOs.

This can be done purely through customizing. Please check IMG -> Logistics Execution -> Warehouse Management -> Activities -> Transfers -> Processing Performance Data/Split. You will need to define a sorting profile for TO split in where LETYP (storage unit type) can be used as sorting condition. The sorting profile should then be assigned to defined TO split.

BAPI/FM Help Needed for PM Work Order Update and Notification create
Hi,
I am using BAPI - BAPI_ALM_ORDER_MAINTAIN to update the work order details and create notifications for the object list but i am getting errors in doing that.
IWO_BAPI 203 -Changing the execution factor in the BAPI is not supported
And i have to create notifications to each object in the object list. This BAPI is not supporting that.
So i used another BAPI BAPI_ALM_NOTIF_CREATE to create notification and passed the order number , counter etc to it but in the order it is creating a new row for that equipment and linking the notification to it.
Need some help on these.Dear
1. If you want a Notification mandatory to be created for Order using IW31 you can once make this happen by User Status in Order , i would suggest if you are doing implementation better Use Order Types which has got Notification integrated in it .
Check Order type PM05 in Ideas server you have PM05 Order with notification fields integrated , which created notification in Background when order is Created or released.
2.For Work Order B --> Notification A , Not Allowing I donot have any idea check whether is there any User exit from experts or ask ur Abaper

Hi, I'm trying to sync the Photostream images from my iPhone 4 with my Windows 7 PC using the iCloud tool, however it will only copy the first 5 photos in the photostream (there are over 500 sat there). Can anyone advise how to force the remaining ph
