I have just found the same sort of thing after upgrading to patch 9. I have some code that executes on the before_action of a keydown event and now it's firing twice for some reason.
I hope this is resolvable.

(Same thing with a click event on one of my forms, it is also firing exactly twice each time now - even though I am checked only the before_action = true.)

What is the lifespan of a Macbook Notebook Hard Drive, and is it a good idea to replace them more then once?

In specific, I own a 2007 Macbook Notebook, and it is an Intel Core 2 Duo MB21.00A5.B07. Last year, it became necessary to replace the hard drive, and was informed that the reason for the replacement was that the hard drive had reached the end of its lifespan.
My question is how long do Macbook notebook hard drives typically last? This also is in the context of frequent use of the notebook.
Additionally, is it a good idea to replace the hard drive more then once, or will the hard ware on the notebook, after I'm assuming about six or so years, be too out of date to accommodate a second or third hard drive replacement?
Also, since the replacement was still covered under an applecare plan (it's expired now), the general cost of replacing a Macbook notebook hard drive is not known? What is the cost generally expected of a hard drive replacement? This is in relation to repairs conducted at an applestore location (as opposed to a third party repair center).

Your entire system can be copied to an external HD in bootable form. It's generally referred to as cloning, and there are a number of applications available to assist in the task.

Furthermore, once cloned, should you have to replace the internal drive, it's easy to boot from the external and clone the system back to the internal.

As I don't live in the US, it's difficult for me to reccommend retailers, but any computer store (including Apple) can supply external HDs. Be aware that not all HDs from some manufacturers will play well with Macs; Western Digital I believe needs careful selection of the correct model. There are plenty of contributors who can no doubt help on that front. Personally I use LaCie and Iomega. Note that these are purpose built externals and come with their own enclosure and all cables reqd.
One thing you will need to do with most of them is to use Disk Utility to partiton them correctly (GUID system for Intel Macs) and set the file system to Mac Extended (journaled) before cloning.

Can't open .msg files more then once, saved or as an attachment to an email

we use :

If we save an email as a outlook.msg file , we can only open it once, close it,
when trying to open it again it gives an error that it is not possible due to a scurity issue or it is already open.
After closing outlook and starting it again, we can open it once again.
Same when clicking an .msg that is attached to an email, but here we can switch to another email, go back to the one and open it again.
We have installed all updates for both xp and office 2003 also internet explorer 8.0 to test if that would work, normally we have ie7.0.

1． What is the detail error information, please try to reproduce the issue and then post the detail error information here.
2． Did you save the msg file locally or on a network drive?
3． Please try to check security on the msg file and also check the drive NTFS permission.
4． Copy over the email messages from the affected user machine to a different machine and check if the issue persist.
5． Test if the issue persist after saving a new email on Mailbox to local drives.
6． Copy over the affected email messages from local drive to a PST file and check if these emails can be opened fine.
1)    Create a new PST file .
2)    Added to user’s Outlook profiles.
3)    Launch Outlook .
4)    Highlight a folder under this PST.
5)    Drag and drop or copy/paste the emails from local drive to Folder highlighted under the PST files.
Besides, please try to remove all the add-ins like Entrust and then test the issue again.
1.     Remove add-ins
1)    Uncheck all Third-Party Add-ins selected in Outlook , found under Tool\Options\Other\Add-ins managers.
2)    Export the registry hive below for backup.

1 Translated from dutch as good as i know :

2 tried both, the network and locally, i have the rights to save it in the map and open it once, so thats not the problem, iseems that outlook locks the file after it is openen once.
3 security and ntfs permissions are ok, see 2
4 tried it from different pc's networks maps etc.
5 done.
6 in a pst file the msg can be openen ore than once, but thats not the problem, tried and this works, but i need to save an email as an .msg file.
7 addins removed and doen all of that part, didn't help.
We also have tried:
-Installing all updates and ie8
-going back to xp sp2 (fresh install of xp)
Only thing that did work was an msg file attached to an email, we couldn't open that more then once,
but after checking "Use exchange modus with cache" at the account properties we could open that more than once.
Now we need to be able to open the email's saved as .msg more then 1 time.

So I was trying to order a song on Sunday night and it kept saying wrong security code for my card . I try it more than once . And then I got a text from my bank

And I just try it again and the same thing happen but this time I was able to actually get the song cause nothing was wrong with my code from my card but charged me 9.85 for a song that only was 1.29 so in total iTunes has charged me $28.29 just for one song . Early Watch more then once a week

Hi All
We are going live in 2 months and I wanted to know we are making changes to our systems and we would like to run early watch more than once a week. Can some one tell me if this is possible I know I have to send the session data then kick off the early watch job in SDCCN correct? We are runnning Solman 7.01.

The EWA which is displayed in your SolMan, is also triggered through your SolMan system.
By default, once per week, a EWA session is created for each managed system. SDCCN recognize the data collection request, provides the data and sends it to the SolMan system.
If you want to have an additional system, you need to create an additional EWA session in the SolMan.
To do to,
- run transaction SOLUTION_MANAGER
- enter the Solution Landscape which contains the managed system
- choose Operations -> Solution Monitoring -> EarlyWatch
- choose "New" or "Add" and select the system
Don't be surprised, if the EWA scheduled during one week are identically or at least very similar.
Most data in EWA is based on a weekly basis (actually data of the week before, not the current week).

Component renders more then once

I'm having a jspx page containing a navigation panel and 3 panelboxes. Depending on the value of a 'Type' attribute defined in the pageDefinition, one of the panelBoxes get rendered.
*If the value of the 'Type' attribute is 'T': the panelBox renders an inputText component.
*If the value of the 'Type' attribute is 'S': the panelBox iterates over the details of a certain current row and show them as radiobuttons.
*If the value of the 'Type' attribute is 'M': the panelBox iterates over the details of a certain current row and shows them as checkboxes.
Both iterations use the af:forEach component to show the details. Here's the problem:
Everytime I browse to the last masterrow, there are details in the panelBox which gets rendered more than once and I really don't know why.

Unfortunately I'm not working with a managed bean. 'possibleAnswer' is the name of each row in the af:forEach. (Instead of row)
I added following line to each panelBox in my code in order to print the row count.

Select2 Plugin more then once selection

I'm using Select2 Plugin with the tagging support enabled.
I wish I had of the feasibility of selecting more than once the same option
for example, if the list contains the following values
BLUE
RED
BLACK
GREEN
I wish I could get BLUE,RED,BLUE,GREEN,BLUE .....
I believe that it should be possible using javascript (adding back the selected item in the list ??), but I do not know where to start.

I am wanting to buy the photoshop cs6 and am currently running Microsoft but want to upgrade my laptop by the end of the year to a Mac... Can you only use the keycode once when you purchase it? Should I go and get the new computer now? On that note does anyone recommend which Mac for photo editing I was thinking MacBook pro 15" or should I go the 17"? Thanks

You can do a "Crossgrade" to change platforms, the information on the process is here, please make sure you read it carefully and understand all the steps. If you have any questions about the process, or are unsure about any of the steps, contact Adobe Customer Service directly, they are the only ones who can give you absolute answers in areas such as this.
As for which Mac to buy, I work in IT sales so I'll give you a trite "sales" answer, but it's advice I follow myself when I build my own systems; simply buy the most powerful system you can with the budget you have available on the day!
I assume from the way you've phrased your question that you're not interested in a desktop? Okay, the 17" MacBook Pro is a fantastic machine, but it's a beast to haul around, so if you need to be "mobile" you may want to consider a maxed-out 15" machine, plus a decent - 24" 1920x1200, IPS panel - monitor for when you're working at your desk.
A good place to start would be to visit Apple and play with the configuration tools for the 15" and 17" machines, plug in the most powerful processors, and fastest hard drives, then see if the $'s are in your budget. A word of advice, do not buy additional RAM from Apple, the prices are outrageous and cannot be justified, buy the machine with the minimum amount of RAM available, then purchase good 3rd party RAM such as Kingston - no, I don't work for Kingston! - and install it yourself, it's easy. In fact, once you've spec'd out a machine, shop it 'round Apple's authorized resellers, I'll pretty much guarantee you'll get a better deal.

My first thought is to click to edit the title of them. It's hard to illustrate on here but sometimes there is an extra space at the end of the artist name or before it. That will cause it to make more than one show up since the ipod reads it as two different things. Just go through and make sure there are no extra spaces or anything and that the names are EXACTLY the same to have only one show up.
The one thing that makes me think that isn't the problem is because you said ALL the same songs are in them. Usually the one with the wrong title will show up with that single song in it. Hmm..Look and see anyway, it wouldn't hurt.

Insert taking place more than once

I have a jsp page where the user does some selection in the drop down lists. Here I want to insert userName, date into Oracle table.I am able to do that. But the problem is it is inserting twice as the page refreshes when the user does some selection. I want to insert only once.How can I fix this.

You can set a flag to say if its already inserted once, the flag is flipped and it will not update again. Or you can have database constraints where the 2nd insert would fail.

Run form more then once from development

I use formbuilder 10g and try for testing run my application by clicking the button run form in form builder.
At this time the runtime environment always needs the password a second time and, if I try to run it a second time again, I have to restart my developer becaus I always get only html code but not starting the browser (Internet exlorer 6).

IE6 ? Really? You do understand that this is the year 2011? Anyway....
Do the following:
1. Open the Builder.
2. From the menu select Edit > Preferences > Runtime
3. In the field labeled Web Browser Location, enter the complete path to the desired browser. So if you are using IE for example, the entry would probably look like this:
C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\IEXPLORE.EXE
4. In the field labeled "Application Server URL", this should refer to your local machine and port. The easiest way to populate this field is to delete the current contents if you are uncertain of its validity, then press the button labeled "Reset to default". After click the button, simply click on OK to accept the changes.
One last thing... it may also be necessary to change the browser security settings to permit the form to launch using the "Run Form" option. In some cases, you will need to check the browser setting " +Allow active content to run in file on My Computer+ ". This can be found in the browser settings on the Advanced tab.

IPod displaying the same artisit more then once in the artist view

When I sync my library to my ipod, my ipod displays copies of the same artist. Right now it is 3 copies and I was wondering a way to fix it.
I have purchased the songs in question from the itunes store. and the artists that are repeated have the same albums and songs listed under them... Im refering to the "artist" sort mode on the ipod

Select all the songs in the iTunes library by the same artist (all at the same time). While all are highlighted do a Get Info. Is the Artist field blank? If so that means there is an actual difference between two or more of the selected tracks for that field. Mispellings, added space characters, accent marks on some by not the others, etc. Simple solution is to now type in the artist name (to be applies to all the songs equally), OK out of there and see if the iPod looks right after re-syncing.

Itunes charged me more then once.

after a purchase itunes charged me multiple times then it cost. the app was only $5.34 and it doubled to 12 times leaving the purchase to be $64.08.

Contact iTunes store support. This is a user forum. We can't do anything about it.
