Explain what is view points, document points, artView points and page points?

Hello All,
Could you please explain the terms like View points, Document points, ArtView points, page points?

Hi Patterson,
Thanks for your answer. but still, I think, I am in confusion..
AIPageTiling page;
ASErr error = sAIDocumentView->GetPageTiling(&page);
if (!error)
pageHeight = page.paperSize.v;
pageWidth = page.paperSize.h;
Here page.paperSize is size of paper, in points (given in docs).., so I think its page points.
Now, I want to transform/translate an art (which is created using DuplicateArt() ) with some random x and y values.
So, I used
ASReal randomXTranslate = sAIMath->AIRealMul( sAIRandom->FloatRnd() , (AIReal) pageWidth );
ASReal randomYTranslate = sAIMath->AIRealMul( sAIRandom->FloatRnd() , (AIReal) pageHeight );
sAIMath->AIRealMatrixSetIdentity(&newArtTM);
sAIMath->AIRealMatrixSetScale(&newArtTM, randomXTranslate, randomYTranslate);
sAITransfromArt->TransformArt(newArt, &newArtTM, 1, kTransformObjects);
but TransformArt( ) function should take x and y values in document points. Clearly what Im giving randomXTranslate and randomYTranslate are wrong(bcoz these are in page points)
So, how can I convert page points into docs poins??

  • Can anyone explain what "multi-tenant" means with respect to OAM and OIF?

    Hi,
    I noticed that OAM 11gR2 has several additional authentication modules and schemes out-of-the-box for "MT" or multi-tenant. I've actually tried them, but am not clear exactly what their purpose is?
    As a test, I configured the FederationMT module and FederationMTScheme to protect a test resource in OAM, and then when I access the resource, I first get a page with one field for username and a "Sign In" button. After I enter a user name, it goes to a form login page and I can log into the OIF IdP, and that's about it. I guess that I don't see what this accomplishes?
    If anyone is familiar with this, please advise.
    Thanks,
    Jim

    Hi,
    Thanks for the metalink article. I've read that, and I can understand what the article is describing, but I'm not 100% clear how that relates to the configuration parameters in the FederationMTPlugin. The article talks about a mapping file, but I don't see something like that for configuring the TenantDismbiguationPlugin?
    The first step in FederationMTScheme plugin is a TenantDisambiguationPlugin, which takes two parameters:
    KEY_IDENTITY_STORE_REF
    KEY_FEDERATED_TENANTS (a comma-separated list of "some things")
    The steps/orchestration for the FederationMTPlugin has:
    Initial Step: FedUserAuthenticationPlugin
    TenantDisambiguationPlugin OnSuccess: FedAuthenticationPlugin OnFailure: UserIdentificationPlugin
    UserIdentificationPlugin OnSuccess: UserAuthenticationPlugin OnFailure: failure
    UserAuthenticationPlugin OnSuccess: success OnFailure: failure
    FedAuthnRequestPlugin OnSuccess: success OnFailure: FedUserAuthentication
    FedUserAuthenticationPlugin OnSuccess: success OnFailure: TenantAmbiguationPlugin
    [The OnError results for all steps are failure, so I haven't shown them.]
    So, the first step is the FedUserAuthenticationPlugin (AssertionProcessing), and if that fails, the next step is the TenantDisambiguationPlugin.
    I guess all of my questions are around what that TenantAmbiguationPlugin does, and how it works?
    I'm guessing that what you enter on the 1st webpage, which asks for a Tenant, is matched against the comma-separated list that is in the plugins "KEY_FEDERATED_TENANTS" parameter.
    Is that correct?
    But:
    a) What happens if there is a match of what you entered vs. what's in the "KEY_FEDERATED_TENANTS" list?
    b) What happens if there is NOT a match of what you entered vs. what's in the "KEY_FEDERATED_TENANTS" list?
    That article you mentioned calls for a mapping file, that maps what is entered (the tenant) to a user identity store, but where is that in the TenantDisambiguationPlugin's parameters? The only other parameter for that plugin is the "KEY_IDENTITY_STORE_REF" parameter.
    Having said that, I described the steps and step orchestration in the FederationMTPlugin above. If the TenantDisambiguationPlugin is suppose to somehow map what's entered to a user identity store name, then, with respect to the FederationMTPlugin, is that mapped user identity store used for the UI and UA steps (i.e., as the "KEY_IDENTITY_STORE_REF" for the UI and UA steps)?
    Thanks for your help with this. Oracle's documentation certainly merits some improvement :(...

  • Can't open Pages '09 Document (Upgraded to Mavericks and Pages 5.0))

    There is one Pages '09 file that I can not open now that I have upgraded to Mavericks and the new Pages.  Of course it is an assignment that my son needs for school!  When I double-click on it I get the message that the document could not be read, that it does not have a valid format.  I tried opening it with the 4.3 version of Pages, but get the same result.  I also tried to pull the document from the time machine, and same problem.
    Any suggestions/work-arounds?  I tried simply renaming the file format--no luck.  Do I need to repair permissions?
    I am on a 3-week old iMac 2.7 GHz Intel Core i5 with 8GB 1600 MHz DDr3, 1GB old school drive.

    Maybe try what was suggested here:

  • How to know whether file is document file or not and page count

    How can i know whether the file is document file
    Eg: File file = new File("test.text");
            File file = new File("test.doc");
            File file = new File("test.pdf");   etc should return true
    File file = new File("test.exe");
           File file = new File("test.dat");  etc should return false
    and if it is true i should get the page count for example if pdf or doc file is containinf 100 pages
    i should get the value 100 is there any way to acheive this in java pls give some idea or example code
    Regards

    To get the number of pages you would need to write or find an existing Java API that can parse the proprietary formats of each type. And some formats do not really have pages. For instance, the number of pages of a .txt (often opened by Notepad by default) file would depend on your page length which is not generally stored in the file it is set by the tool you use to read the file.

  • Locked documents both in keynotes and pages. when I look attheir status they are not locked but when I try and save I get an error message saying the doc is locked.

  • What is reporting point in REM mfg ?

    Hi PP expertise,
    Can someone explain what is reporting point in routing/backflush ?
    how to know the routing use reporting point ?
    Thanks

    Dear,
    Reporting Point Backflush is used when working with Longer Lead Times.
    Reporting point backflush
    Controls whether you can carry out reporting point backfushes when backflushing in make-to-stock repetitive manufacturing.
    Use
    Using the reporting point backflush:
    You can withdraw the components close to the operation for which they are required which is very useful when working with longer lead times.
    You can calculate the number of incomplete products (work in process).
    You can post scrap quantities directly at the appropriate operation.
    You can carry out a reporting point backflush at every operation defined as a milestone in the routing. In the repetitive manufacturing profile, you can also decide whether you want to make the reporting point backflush mandatory or optional.
    Dependencies
    The reporting point backflush is carried out in the same way as the milestone confirmation.
    Steps to be follw:-
    1)You must assign a suitable repetitive manufacturing profile in the material master record to be able to backflush a material using either the mandatory or the optional reporting point backflush function.
    2)You must set the optional or the mandatory reporting point backflush in the repetitive manufacturing profile.
    3)This type of backflushing corresponds to the milestone confirmation in make-to-order production. Therefore, in the routing, you must select a control key which has indicator 1 (= milestone confirmation) in the confirmation field.
    4)You must enter the routing in the production version of the material. The system first looks for the routing entered in the detailed planning section. If no entry exists here, the system then uses the routing from the rate-based planning section.
    5)You must carry out a version-specific or a standard cost estimate.
    6.You are recommended to use the version-specific cost estimate which can be carried out in shorter intervals than the standard cost estimate.
    7In MFBF screen you can flag the "RP Backflush " check box which means reporting point backflush and enter the Reporting point that is the operation #.
    Hope clear to you.

  • Can anyone explain what a condition type means in pricing.

    Hi,
    Can anyone explain what a condition type means in pricing. And how to create condition type and how it effects Pricing conditions.
    As I am new to this area. Detailed explanation is highly appreciated.
    Thanks a lot,
    Rasheed

    Hello Rasheed,
    Below mentioned are the few important things related to pricing.
    - You first define Condition Tables .
    - Define Access Sequence and assign condition tables to it.
    - Define Condition Type and assign Access Sequence to it.
    - Now define Pricing Procedure and assign Condition Type to it.
    - Now you define Pricing Procedure Determination using Sales Org, Distribution    Channel ,Division,Document  Pricing Procedure and Customer Pricing Procedure which are the key fields.
    The above steps can be done in SPRO.
    -Now maintain the Condition Records(for eg:For the specific material what is the cost or for a specific customer what is the cost of the specific material etc) using Txn:VK11.
    - Once you maintain the Condition Records , you can reflect the same values in Condition Type in SPRO.
    Hope this information is helpful for you to relate Condition Type in Pricing,
    Please reward with points if this information is helpful for you.
    Regards,
    Shanthala.

  • What is View Instantiation???

    I have been reading 10g Performance Tuning doc and came across view instantiation over here:
    http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/B19306_01/server.102/b14211/sql_1016.htm#i22206
    <<
    11.5.4.1.1 Use Caution When Joining Complex Views
    Joins to complex views are not recommended, particularly joins from one complex view to another. Often this results in the entire view being instantiated, and then the query is run against the view data.
    >>
    Could you please explain what is "View Instantiation" and what are the drawbacks?
    I tried to google and search on asktom but couldn't find any resource.
    Your help is appreciated.
    Thanks

    Tanel,
    I think you're right - and I should not have used the word "usually".
    Apart from the obvious cases - such as 'order by', 'group by' and analytic functions - where (barring first_rows() execution paths based on appropriate indexes) the first row can't be generated until all the rows have been generated it is possible for Oracle to start processing the result set of the view without generating the entire result set.
    I think it is true to say, however, that there are probably many cases where Oracle will use a blocking operation while generating a non-mergeable view result set (and a non-blocking one when join predicate pushing occurs), and this behaviour led me into making the error above.

  • Is there a way to set the default Initial View to Bookmarks Panel and Page on word documents that I save as PDF?

    When I save my word 2013 documents as Adobe PDF I have to open the PDF up, go to File>Properties>Initial View>Navigation Tab and then set the initial view as Bookmark Panel and Page; it gets pretty tedious.
    I use Save as Adobe PDF rather than Print to Adobe PDF Printer because I like being able to have the security settings automatically set.
    I just want to be able to save my word document as Adobe PDF with the initial view already set as Bookmark Panel and Page, and with security, so I can send it out immediately.
    Is this possible?
    Thank you.

  • What is the difference between Condition Type PB00 and PBXX

    Hallow all,
    Can anybody please explain, What is the Difference between Condition type PB00 and PBXX in Materials Management Pricing?
    And also please explain control or Application of both on Price determination ??
    Thanks in Advance !!!!!

    Hi,
    PB00 condition type is used for automatic pricing in PO
    PBXX condition type is used for manual pricing in PO
    In Pricing  access sequence  play a vital role . If you need pricing automatic in the PO, you have use of Access Sequences and Schema Group of Vendor.You can see the difference in both standard condition type PB00 and PBXX, where as PB00 is assigned to Access sequence(0002)but in case of PBXX no access sequense assigned.

    Let me clear, I have bought WinSL 8.1 SNGL OLP NL Acdmc Legalization GetGenuine (part
    No - 4HR-00400). It means my machine has legal OS and I can use it and I dont need to buy WinPro
    8.1 SNGL Upgrd OLP NL Acdmc (Part no. - FQC-08173).
    is it?
    I believe that is correct. There should be no reason to buy both licenses for one machine. You should verify this with your reseller or MS.

  • WSUS vs SCCM SUP - What is the point of changing? Pros and Cons of both

    Hi,
    I have been using WSUS forever and have just made a very painful change over to SCCM 2012 SUP. In a room full of experienced WSUS users and facing a handover of SCCM SUP, I really need to have this question answered - What, if any, are the advantages of
    SCCM2012 SUP over WSUS. It's certainly not ease of use, ease of implementation or understandability.
    Even if i accept that yes, they are two different things now and i shouldn't think of SCCM as being like WSUS, I still have to compare and contrast, honestly, what they do and how they do it
    WSUS is ridiculously easy in comparison to SUP. With WSUS, I install it, create some GPOs and assign to OUs. I create security groups and add the servers in scope to to thoise groups and those security groups to the policy. I have different groups set up
    to keep separation of DCs and APP servers and SQL and SCCM and Antivirus servers and workstations
    If needs be i have a text list of all my servers/workstations and can individually target using PSEXEC to run wuauclt on any number of clients. It works great and is easily understandable
    Now, enter SCCM 2010 and SUP.
    The first thing i HAD to know was the last thing i learned. And not from Microsoft.That is that there is really only one method now, imposed by limitations on Software Update Groups and Deployment packages. You can only create a package of 1000 or less updates
    This means chopping up your historic updates and having them deployed as a separate strategy from your newer updates cycles
    Secondly, every month from now on you will need to create and sort your updates into a meaningful Update Group and Deployment package - even if you set up an Automatic Deployment rule, you still need to manually create your Update Groups
    You can only have one deployment package per update group and will need one software update group per "type" of install (available or Required) AND you will need one software update group and deployment package PER COLLECTION!
    To make this work as simply as possible, it will mean having two collections Available and Required (for example)
    Each collection will have a SUG associated with it (each with a limit of 1000 updates remember). Each group of circa 1000 updates takes about 2+ hours to compile and you will have a minimum of 5 groups per collection to get up to October 2014
    After this your ADRs should now do it all for you but lack the ability to create update groups so you have to do this manually every month beforehand. Whew!!
    Thirdly, in the background, WSUS still downloads metadata. In SCCM you should be pointing every update group manually to this folder. Same with Deployment packages and ADRs. Why is this not built-in - intuitive? These are then copied and downloaded as full
    packages into their respectively (manually) created source folders
    Now, when updates expire or are superseded, you have to manually replace them from each SUG
    And also quite a big thing i havent heard anyone else comment on, is the fact that these updates are now NOT shown in the Windows Update feature - they now appear in the Software Center - so now the Servers i sent "Available" updates have to be
    logged onto and manually installed - instead of being able to individually target them like i did with PSEXEC and wuauclt
    And logging?? There are at least 100 different logs to look at using the Trace Log Tool. It's a full time job just figuring out what logs to look at to resolve any problems
    This is, in my opinion, a really poor effort and the documentaion is wildly inconsistent across many forums.
    Some kind of standard document is needed. And i say this after having followed Microsoft's own documentation and using technet forums
    I, for one, just need one BIG question answered for now - how do i remove the SCCM SUP client and revert back to wuauclt on all my clients - if i remove SUP from SCCM will it remove the client from the clients?

    HI Jason,
    I have spent a long time trying to get this to work. My requirements are to have WSUS deploy updates automatically with as little intervention as possible and to be able to explain and show the process to others who will administer the system long after
    I've gone
    The reason I still have to think of things in the WSUS way is that I have a broken update infrastructure that doesn't do what my requirements are. So I now currently need to log into all my "Available " Servers to update them manually instead of
    being able to remotely execute the updates. I'll look at the SDK but this is the first time I've heard of it
    From the top - yes I agree that's a typo it's Update Goups that can only have 1000 updates. Do you agree that this causes a problem for this scenario? Updates since before 2013 amount to several thousand and so I have to break these up into groups of 1000
    - one each for Available and Required groups. That means 8 groups straight away
    Having to cater for these historic updates means painfully waiting 2 hours or so for each package to be created. I've done this already and its not pretty but its essential (unless I'm doing it wrong but I am following TechNet forums)
    My ADRs will absolutely not create the Update Groups and the docs I have read also say that this is a manual monthly process - Create a Group every month and then use an ADR to use that group - is that not correct?
    Update groups - you are mixing my words up and saying the same thing in a different way - "Update groups can absolutely have multiple deployments targeted to different collections" change the "can" for a "must" and you see my
    problem. You cannot create a single Update Group, package it up and the deploy it to both Available and Required groups. You need two update groups for this. One for available and one for Required.
    Metadata - OK then what is it that WSUS downloads to E:\WSUS\WsusContent\...  ? And why is this to be set as the download location for any Update Group, Deployment Package or ADR?? I have to create  or select a deployment package which is another
    manually created folder under "sources" for which the download location is set to my WSUS folder. This doesn't work unless I set my download location to Microsoft. But WSUS should already have synced in the background to WsusContent so why would
    I want to download from Microsoft. And I only want to actually download the "approved" packages. So as far as I'm aware the WSUS\WsusContent folder only contains metadata which is not downloaded until required. Am I wrong? What/who/how downloads
    the binaries and when?
    Lastly, What doesn't make sense? The goal used to be automation. If and when I needed to, I used to be able to manually intervene for single or multiple devices using PSEXEC to run wuauclt. With SCCM I can see for example, 2x non compliant devices just now.
    In the old days I would just psexec onto them and run wuauclt. In SCCM I err... Hmmm.. what? What do I do? Will look at the SDK
    Just one other thing - is there no way at all to continue to use the Windows UPdate control panel and have it show the same available updates as Software Centre? Why can SCCM not just work like Windows Update does? If I run Windows Update on any server it
    says up do date but if go to Microsoft to check it always comes back with updates
    I just want my internal SCCM SUP to work the same way Microsoft updates works for an internet connected computer. Completely Automatic. No intervention. My group of Availabel servers I would like to be able to remotely and individually install from either
    a central console or a script. Again, I will look at the SDK for this
    Thanks for your reply and advice. I'll give it one more week. ;-)

  • What is chang pointer

    hi
           what is change pointer
           could u plz explain clearly

    Hi,
    Change pointers are the mechanism through which you can send data to another SAP system or external system if there is a change happening to specific fields of master data.
    Change Pointer (Master Data Distribution)
    Purpose
    If you want to distribute master data changes with the SMD tool (Shared Master Data), changes to the master data objects are flagged for distribution by change pointers ( ® Master Data Distribution).
    The SMD tool is connected to the change document interface. If the master data changes are to be distributed, the application writes a change document. The contents of this are passed to the SMD tool. The tool writes change pointers, reads the application data and creates the master IDoc.
    The master IDoc is then passed to the ALE layer, which sends it to all interested systems.
    The change pointer tables (BDCP und BDCPS) should be as small as possible. Use as few change pointers as possible and delete change pointers which you no longer need.

  • JWSDP and J2EE Integration: Doesn't work. What's the point?

    My problems involve the integration of JWSDP and J2EE as described in these two documents:
    http://developer.java.sun.com/developer/technicalArticles/WebServices/wsj2ee/
    http://java.sun.com/j2ee/documentation/windows_guide.html
    It looks like a long one, but its really not that bad. All comments are appreciated.
    Ive numbered each line-paragraph-section for easy reference later.
    (1) My ultimate goal is to setup a website that displays data from a database. I will use Java, Apache, Oracle, and whatever else I need to create a website that uses servlets, JavaServer Pages (JSP), and JDBC.
    (2) Ive got four Pentium III computers:
    1. Windows 2000 Server to be the web server (MyWebServer, IP = 10.10.1.1).
    2. Windows 2000 Professional to be the database server (MyDatabaseServer, IP = 10.10.1.2).
    3. Windows 2000 Professional that I use to develop and test (MyDeveloperPC, IP = 10.10.1.3).
    4. Windows 2000 Professional that I use as a client to connect to the website (MyClientPC, IP = 10.10.1.4).
    (3) On MyWebServer I installed the following:
    Java 2 Standard Edition (J2SE)
    Java 2 Enterprise Edition (J2EE)
    Java Web Services Developer Pack (JWSDP)
    The JWSDP tutorial
    Apache HTTP Server
    (4) The files I downloaded and installed are as follows:
    j2sdk-1_4_0-rc-win.exe
    j2sdkee-1_3_1-win.exe
    jwsdp-1_0-ea1-win.exe
    jwsdp-1_0-ea1_01-tutorial.zip
    apache_1.3.23-win32-x86-no_src.exe
    (5) After installing these products, I set the environment variables as follows:
    JAVA_HOME = c:\j2se
    J2EE_HOME = c:\j2ee
    JWSDP_HOME = c:\jwsdp
    Path = c:\j2se\bin;c:\j2ee\bin;c:\jwsdp\bin; [and other previous statements]
    (6) I checked to see that Apache is running as a service. It is.
    On MyWebServer I start Tomcat and J2EE. Both start properly and are operating simultaneously.
    (7) From MyClientPC I open Internet Explorer and in the address box I type:
    http://10.10.1.1
    This displays the page c:\ApacheHTTP\apache\htdocs\index.html.en (The Apache default server installation page.)
    (8) I then enter this address in IE:
    http://10.10.1.1:8080
    This displays the page c:\jwsdp\webapps\root\index.html (The default JWSDP page).
    (9) I then enter this address in IE:
    http://10.10.1.1:8000
    This displays the page c:\j2ee\public_html\index.html (The J2EE 1.3 Default Home Page).
    (10) So far so good. Now I want to test JWSDP as a container for JSP pages.
    (11) I use ant to build the converter app found in the tutorial examples (in folder c:\jwsdp\\tutorial\examples\gs). I then deploy the converter app to the c:\jwsdp\webapps\gs folder.
    (12) From MyClientPC I open Internet Explorer and in the address box I type:
    http://10.10.1.1:8080/gs
    The converter app works perfectly.
    (13) To eliminate the need to enter the port number, I create a link from the Apache default server installation page to the converter app. From MyClientPC and enter this address into IE:
    http://10.10.1.1
    I then click on the link to the converter app and it works perfectly.
    (14) Question: Is this the best way to display JSP pages without having to enter the port number?
    (15) Now its time to integrate JWSDP and J2EE as described in these two documents:
    http://developer.java.sun.com/developer/technicalArticles/WebServices/wsj2ee/
    http://java.sun.com/j2ee/documentation/windows_guide.html
    (16) After I complete this integration I cannot start both Tomcat and J2EE at the same time. This makes sense because they both share port 8080.
    I start Tomcat.
    (17) From MyClientPC and use Internet Explorer to test the various relevant addresses. Everything works the same as it did before except this one:
    http://10.10.1.1:8000
    The page cannot be displayed. The J2EE default home page is not displayed, which makes sense because the J2EE port is no longer 8000; it has been changed to 8080.
    (18) Now I shutdown Tomcat and start J2EE.
    From MyClientPC and use Internet Explorer to test the various relevant addresses:
    (19) http://10.10.1.1:8080
    Displays the JWSDP default home page.
    (20) http://10.10.1.1:8080/gs
    The page cannot be displayed. The converter app no longer works.
    (21) From MyWebServer and use Internet Explorer to test localhost:
    http://localhost:8080
    This displays the J2EE default home page.
    (22) Question: Why does localhost give me a different page than the IP address?
    (23) Question: What was the point of integrating JWSDP and J2EE?
    (24) I want to get the converter app working, so I create a .war file and attempt to add it to the J2EE deploytool (see the two integration documents listed above at section 15.) I create the .war file following the instructions in the JWSDP tutorial:
    http://java.sun.com/webservices/docs/ea1/tutorial/doc/WebApp3.html#64606
    (25) I change to the c:\jwsdp\\tutorial\examples\gs\build folder.
    I then type:
    jar cvf converter.war .
    A .war file is created.
    (26) I open the deploytool: File, New, Application, and I name it converter.
    I attempt to add the .war file: File, Add to Application, Web WAR.
    (27) When I attempt to add the converter.war file I get this error:
    converter.war does not appear to be a valid web JAR.
    I tried a few different attempts, all with the same result. Im stuck.
    (28) I ask again, What was the point of integrating JWSDP and J2EE?
    (29) If this is the preferred configuration, how do I display my JSP pages like the converter app?
    Please help!!!

    The JWSDP tutorial says to be in the build folder of the example when issuing the jar command to create the .war file. The build folder is created when I run the ant build command.
    Attempt 1 from the command prompt in folder c:\jwsdp\tutorial\examples\gs\build>
    I typed this command:
    jar cvf c:\jaxmservices\converter.war .
    In this case I directed the .war file to be placed in a different folder as you suggested. Heres the output:
    added manifest
    adding: index.jsp(in = 921) (out= 525)(deflated 42%)
    adding: WEB-INF/(in = 0) (out= 0)(stored 0%)
    adding: WEB-INF/classes/(in = 0) (out= 0)(stored 0%)
    adding: WEB-INF/classes/Converter.class(in = 582) (out= 358)(deflated 38%)
    Didnt work. Same error as before.
    Attempt 2 from the same folder:
    I typed this command as you suggested (I tried it with and without the final dot):
    jar tvf converter.war
    Here is the output:
    java.io.FileNotFoundException: converter.war (The system cannot find the file specified)
    at java.io.FileInputStream.open(Native Method)
    at java.io.FileInputStream.<init>(FileInputStream.java:103)
    at java.io.FileInputStream.<init>(FileInputStream.java:66)
    at sun.tools.jar.Main.run(Main.java:185)
    at sun.tools.jar.Main.main(Main.java:904)
    I tried a few other variations on these attempts with no luck. Im stuck.
    Im attempting to create a .war file out of two files: index.jsp and converter.class.
    Now that Ive integrated JWSDP and J2EE, is there some other way that I can run the converter app instead of a .war file and the deploytool? In other words, if I go back to using ant to build and deploy converter, where would I deploy it so that it will work with J2EE?
    By the way, it doesnt have to be converter. Id be happy if I could get any JSP page to work in J2EE after the integration.
    Forever grateful,
    Logan
