Export MAM into .war

Hi,
I have imported MAM25.war into NWDS SP13 and made some changes, including to the project name.
I set up the NWDS so that when I export the project into a .war and flag the "Run the mobile application" option, it runs and my modifications work. However, if I unflag the option to generate a .war file, update it into WebConsole, remove all applications from my mobile device and assign this new created application into my mobile device, it downloads and installs the application but it won't work. It seems the classes aren't found. Unzipping the .war file I saw that the .class files aren't on their folders but are in the <application_name>.jar file under WEB-INF/lib.
First I thought it was a problem with the changes I made, so I tried with the standard files: I imported mam_eclipse.war into eclipse and exported the .war file without changing anything, and the problem still happens: the application won't have any .class file when running and the classes won't be found when running it.
So I have two questions:
-Is there any configuration to make NWDS export the .class files into their folder and not into a lib and what impact may it have in my project?
-Is there any configuration that might be missing in my project so that MAM will find the right files or the export of the mam_eclipse.war should work without any additional work?

Hello Daniel,
If you are doing the uninstallation and deployment for
the same MCD name, it might not work as the uninstallation
will REMOVE the whole directory of your application.
Are you trying the registration your application for
the same application name (or MSD name)?
If it is, you don't have to re-deploy the application
again for you updates to get into effect. The deployment
only registers the application info (specifically the
Mobile Component Descriptor) into the client and downloads
the package. If you have this information in the client
then you're free to update you applications under the
<webapps> folder.
However, if had made changes into the metadata xml (i.e.
meRepMeta.xml), then you have to uninstall and redeploy
the package containing the metadata xml again...

lately i have figured out how to use connection pooling. now i have another issue.
i have to export the application war file to a remote server for deployment. i cant configure the server.xml file there due to restrictions. Now is there any way that i can retain the connection pooling with all JNDI resources while exporting the war file. what all things would i have to do. i am using tomcat 4.1 and the remote server too have the same appliaction server running.
is this possible?

nvseenuNo, the problem is that you shouldn't be modifying the server.xml
The proper, portable way to do it is to create a context.xml file and put it in the META-INF directory of your WAR file. This contains your Resource definition and JDBC connection parameters. Everything's portable that way.
I know this works on Tomcat 5.x.
It can also work with Tomcat 4.1.x, but the way I've done it is to put the context.xml into a file whose name matches my WAR file (e.g, foo.war and foo.xml), placing both in the /webapps directory. Tomcat 4.1.x picks it up that way.
It would be worth an experiment to see if Tomcat 4.1.x picks up the context from /META-INF, because that way your WAR file is 100% portable.
This is precisely the reason why I advise people not to edit the server.xml. You don't always have the option to do so.

I have created many reports using SQL Server Data Tool 2010 and at my work, we are using active batch to ran reports every month.
Now question is, my boss want me to set up reports such a way that when active batch is ran, reports should be exported into excel sheet automatically with the default values given for parameters at some specific folder location. How can I export report
into excel sheet automatically when active batch is executed?

Acrobat/Indesign does not export correct into the selected output intention (eci_iso_coated_v2_300)

I use the CS6 suite with Acrobat XI at windows platform.
When I want to save a file from InDesign as .pdf with output intention eci_iso_coated_v2_300 the result is a .pdf with more than 300% ink coverage.
I tried to transform the result in Acrobat XI into this standard output intention, but also the result has more than 300 % ink coverage.
What is the reason of this bug?

I was told the new way to work would be to draw files via Bridge direct into the InDesign file
and I thought automatically the color would not be changed.
my colourmanagement setting in bridge for the whole CS6 was ECI isocoated_V2_300
The Illustrator file was saved without color profile.
In this test file I used 3 kinds of black: background of pirate in cmyk 79,34 / 72,78 / 59,38 / 79,88 = ink coverage 291 %
DÜSSELPIRATEN in “black” (if you would convert this in the file with the cmyk button it would be the same ink-percentage as before
“e.V.” was set to 100 % k
I set the preferences for Acrobat from InDesign CS6 as pdf X4 with profile eci isocoatedV2_300 in three ways:
no color conversion
convert to profile
convert to profile keeping existing values
in all tree files the pirates background has 322 % ink coverage instead of 291 %
Why does Acrobat convert “black” in the wrong way? If I click in Illustrator on the 4c button to convert the “black” into 4c it is 291% ink
Acrobat should come to the same result with all profiles: iso coated V2 and iso coated V2_300
The same happens also by saving as .pdf X3 or .X1
The minimum what I expect is, that Acrobat reduces ink coverage for black to 300 %
I also made test with the new ECI profiles for laminated prints from 2012.
And with newspaper profiles
In this case the ink coverage comes below 300 %, but only when I choose convert to profile.
And then the 100 % k converts to cmyk, what I don’t want to have with text.
Is there no way to reduce ink coverage below a special percentage without changing Text 100% k
And is there a bug in Acrobat XI with the ECI IsoCoated_V2_300 Profile? For there is no color reduction below 300 % in all conversion settings.
I can’t test this with Acrobat X or IX, for my computers with this software don’t run with CS6 64 bit.

SSIS - Exporting Data into flat files from Oracle Table as batchwise process

Thanks in advance.
I have a Large Table in Oracle Database with some 3 Lakhs record. I need to fetch the 10,000 records for every iteration and export it into the flat file. This process should occur recursively until the table becomes empty.
Hence, For every iteration on flat file to be generated with 10,000 records.
Please help how to proceed further in SSIS.

Yes, it always helps if your question doesn't specify the actual requirements...
Use the FOR loop container to control the iterations of the data flow. For each run you read 10,000 rows from the table and dump them in a flat file. Either move the flat file, or use an expression on the flat file connection manager to give them dynamic
file names.
30 million rows is also not a problem by the way, it just takes a bit longer.

How to export images into folders and subfolders

I've been using Aperture as an orgianizer basically. Now I want to export everything into a sane folder structure, but I haven't been able to figure out a way. Currently I have a setup something like this:
[Folder 1]
--Project 1
--Project 2
--Project 3
[Folder 2]
--Project 4
--[Folder 3]
----Project 5
----Project 6
--Project 7
And I want export everything exactly like that. For example Project 4 and Folder 3 should both be subfolders of Folder 2. Does anyone know how to accomplish this?

You can define an export preset for the subfolder names, but I do not think you can get so deeply nested as your structure is. You may have to do several exports, separately for the different parts of your library.
An example for an export preset, that names subfolders is here:

You can if you have Acrobat. If you don't, feel free to give it a try. You can download a 30-day trial from http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat.html.
Keep in mind, though, that Acrobat isn't intended to be a word processor. So, while you can make adjustments to text and graphics, if you need to do a major overhaul of the text in the document, it's best to go back to the source document and edit the content there.

By using FM RSPO_RETURN_ABAP_SPOOLJOB you will be able to get the ASCII text of your Spool, which you can download to your local HD and open with M$ Word.

Is it possible to scan text from a typed page and then open it in Preview and somehow export it into Pages and be able to work with it in Pages? If so, how would you do that? Thanks.

Export versions into project

For a set of photos I want to be able to change the color profile from Adobe RGB to sRGB, then upload them into MobileMe, email them to friends, etc.
I'm trying to find the most efficient way to do this. Ideally I would select the photos, then export them to a new or existing album, and change the color profile during export. After export to the album, I could do some sharpening and upload to MobileMe or web, email, etc.
I am having trouble doing this, as I cannot find out how to export versions into an album. I believe AP only allows me to export into a project / folder. With this approach, I believe I will have multiple files of the same photo, which is not my preference.
Can I export versions into an album? If not, how can I have multiple versions of the same file - one with AdobeRGB, the other with sRGB?

You can't. You can only change the color space on export or by round tripping to another application and changing it there. Either method involves creating a new master of the image. AFAIK there is no way to assign a different color space within Aperture.
It's really a moot point though: images are automatically converted to sRGB when uploaded to MobilMe, and you can set the export settings (in Preferences) to anything you like when using Aperture's email function. So you don't need multiple versions (in this case masters) in your library in order to accomplish your goal.

ADS: com.adobe.ProcessingException: Error exporting Data into PDF

Hi Experts,
when trying to upload a PDF file to my WD4A application and extract the data I am getting this ADS Error:
ADS: com.adobe.ProcessingException: Error exporting Data into PDF - PDF Exception: Invalid object for the XFA entry in the forms dictionary.(200201).
The error only appears when I`m trying to upload a PDF file that has been created after an Java Script Update of the Adobe Form Builder. My actual version is 710.20070621204053.403203.403203 - ContainerFoundation_JS.
All PDF files created before this update can be uploaded without problems. Am I missing something to be updated?!
