Export tables/structure from FM

Hi SAPMASTER,
Please, I need your help!!!!
Forgive my stupid doubt.
I need to export a table from FM.
Below is my FM:
FUNCTION ZZEXPORTA.
""Local Interface:
*"  EXPORTING
*"     VALUE(OUT1) TYPE  ZZSTRU_ZZQTDMAT
DATA: itab TYPE TABLE OF ZZSTRU_ZZQTDMAT,
           wa LIKE LINE OF itab.
wa-material   = '123'.
wa-descricao  = 'nothing'.
wa-unidade    = 'ea'.
wa-quantidade = 123.
MOVE-CORRESPONDING wa to out1.
CLEAR wa.
wa-material   = '234'.
wa-descricao  = 'all'.
wa-unidade    = 'xyz'.
wa-quantidade = 456.
MOVE-CORRESPONDING wa to out1.
CLEAR wa.
ENDFUNCTION.
The result is just the "last" data that I put in wa (this is right).
Please, how can I add 2 "registers" to structure ?
I tried APPEND but I got an error message:
"out1 is not a internal table".
I appreciate your help.
Regards,
Edson Luiz

Hi Krishnendu Laha,
Thank you for your help but I have already put in TABLES tab.
SAP did not permit. I got the error message:
"TABLE is OBSOLETE".
So, I put in Export tab.
Please, is there any way to put in the TABLES tab?

Edson Luiz

  • Returning table structure from Web Service...

    Hi,
    I have a web service which retrieves data from a database table. I want to use this web service from my Visual Composer to display the data on the screen.
    I want to know how to return the table structure from my web service. Currently i am returning a string array (only one row of data) from my web service and displaying it in the VC. But i want to include the names of the columns as well.
    I tried using 2D String[] and HashMap, both didn't work for me.
    Any ideas?
    Regards,
    Venkat

    Hi Venkat,
    I recommend to pass the headers in seperat variables and the data table in a array.
    I did something similar, without the header, because they are fixed in my scenario.
    This webservice returns a list of all Portal Roles:
         public roleModel[] getRoles() throws Exception{
                   // Array List as return value
                   ArrayList RoleList = new ArrayList();
                   // Try Block reading portal roles
                   try {
                        IRoleFactory rfact = UMFactory.getRoleFactory();
                        // Filter for PortalRoles
                        IRoleSearchFilter roleFilter = rfact.getRoleSearchFilter();
                        // Search for *
                        roleFilter.setUniqueName("*", ISearchAttribute.EQUALS_OPERATOR, false);
                        // Search all Roles
                        ISearchResult resultList = rfact.searchRoles(roleFilter);
                        // return the result list
                        if (resultList.getState() == ISearchResult.SEARCH_RESULT_OK) {
                             while (resultList.hasNext()) {
                                  // read roleUid
                                  String roleUid = (String) resultList.next();
                                  // create roleObject for roleUid
                                  IRole roleObject =     rfact.getRole(roleUid);
                                  //  instantiate new role for  ArrayList
                                  roleModel rolle = new roleModel();
                                  // read DisplayName and UniqeID
                                  rolle.setRole(roleObject.getDisplayName());
                                  rolle.setRoleID(roleObject.getUniqueID());
                                  rolle.setDescription(roleObject.getDescription());
                                  // add object to ArrayList
                                  RoleList.add(rolle);
                        // create new array from data type model roleModel (class)
                        // in the correspoding size
                        roleModel[] returnList = new roleModel[RoleList.size()];
                        // write ArrayList back to array
                        RoleList.toArray(returnList);
                        // return all portal roles
                        return returnList;
                   // exception handling

  • How to  access the ORACLE APPS table structures from SAP

    Hi Experts,
        How to  access the ORACLE APPS table structures from SAP? Is it possible from SAP?
    Thanks in advance
    Thomas

    Hi Silviya,
    you can access this database using a technique called DB Multiconnect - sometimes written as multi-connect.
    Search the SAP documentation and notes for this term and you will find how to do it.
    Essentially you configure the remote database connection via transaction DBCON.
    If your SAP system is not running on Oracle you will need to install the db-specific kernel files for Oracle along with the Oracel db client software - SQL*Net.
    Then you can access the Oracle database from ABAP using native-SQL. It works a treat!
    Cheers

  • Howto export table structure as sql script.

    is there any way to export the table structure and thier linkage from oracle db into standard sql script?
    thanks

    Sorry, this is the Oracle Repository forum.
    However, Perform an oracle export from the schema i.e.
    exp un/pw rows=n
    and then perform an import:
    imp un/pw indexfile=afile.txt
    This will will have all the structure you need but will need editing to create a runnable script.
    Alternatively use Oracle Designer to reverse engineer your schema, the DDL can then be generated.

  • How to copy paste a table structure from word document into Text Field [field format Rich Text]

    In our current implementation we have a Blank page with Text Field [field format Rich Text] on generated PDF Document.
    Once the PDF document is generated, user can copy paste content form any word/rtf document to into the Text Field.
    Pasted content retains all text formatting [Bold, Italic, Underline, Indentation] except the Table format. Text Field is removing table metadata from the content and converting it into plant text.
    Is there anyway to copy paste table structure as it is from word document into Text Field?

    Hi,
    I don't think you can! While you can paste formatted text into the rich text field, the table metadata means nothing to the textfield.

  • How to export table xml from ID CS4

    Hi,
    Could any one clarify my below doubts.
    I have an xml file for Table. The root tag <informaltable> of the table have the attributes id="xx" and float="0". This xml file is imported into the Indesign document without any problem.  But when I export the xml from Indesign, these attributes were not exported. Only the XML tag is exported.
    Could anyone tell how to export this table root tag with its attributes.
    Thanks,

    Apology for bu** in, but my general practice (or for that matter mentioned scripting manual) is that
    function ProcessProduct(){
        this.name = "ProcessElements";
        this.xpath = "//B/C";
    should be
    function ProcessProduct(){
        this.name = "ProcessProduct";
        this.xpath = "//B/C";
    name of the rule and matches theRuleName,but both of them seems to be working fine here.
    Defining correctly in ruleset does the trick
    var myRuleSet = new Array (new ProcessProduct);
    Does it not matter for having the same name or I am missing something.

  • Cpying / Importing only a few tables structure from one schema to other!

    Greetings,
    Can any one please suggest me the best method to copy the structure of series of tables from one schema to other in a eased way!
    For example:- There is a MC scheama and there are about 1000 tables... and there is a AB schema where I need to copy only structure of 85 selected tables from MC -> AB..
    Please suggest!

    Hi,
    You could use any of the following:
    1) Export 85 tables from source to destination
    2) Use Data Pump Export with Network_link if you are on 10g
    3) Use CTAS (create table as select )
    4) Use DBMS_METADATA.GET_DDL procedure on the source to create a script
    Probably, others would come up with more bright ideas.

  • Export table data from production to quality system - Oracle 10.2

    Hi,
    I am trying to export a few table's data from our production system to the quality system.
    Reason: To synchronize the table data between Production and Quality system
    System info: SAP ECC 6.0 on Oracle 10.2 ; OS: Solaris
    Description:
    There are few standard SAP tables which hold the data of the various institutions of our client. Our requirement is to export the master data relevant for a particular institution from the production system to the quality system. We intend to use the Oracle Export and Import utility (Suggestions on the usage of which tool are welcome).
    Constraints:
    Lets say, there is a table NXXX in production system. This table contains the data for the institutions AA, BB, CC. I intend to export the data relevant to the institution AA from the table NXXX and import the data to the table NXXX in the Quality system.
    Now I understand that the schema of these tables are different. In the production system, the schema would be SAP<Prod SID>.NXXX and in the quality system, the schema is SAP<Qas SID>.NXXX. I need your suggestions to overcome this constraint.
    Regards,

    Hi,
    I do not think you can just export data in your scenario using the oracle imp/exp tool it's all or nothing...
    as for the scema naming between QA/PROD you just need to use :
    imp <dump file> fromuser=<PROD schema>  touser=<QA schema>  only thing you have to look out for is the mandt as it will not change.
    I had something similar recently where I had to copy 14+ million rows from Prod to a Dev client without impacting on other clients data for this table in Dev.
    So for data consistancy
    1) I restored a copy of prod on a new LPAR and exported the table.
    2) Created a dummy prod client using client '000' as a base.
    3) imported the table  using the syntax above enabling the change of schema
    We have now a 14 + million rows in the dummy prod client on the new LPAR
    Now on the Dev server
    4) Created new client on dev as per point 2
    5) SCC9 Remote client copy from the new LPAR using SAP_ALL
    6) As I had 9+ million rows in the target client to get rid of I used delete_commit procedure as in metalink note 3777.1
        This enable  me to delete rows fast without caning the roll back segs.
    7) using R3trans and a command file from the command line copied the single table into the target client.
    I do not know if this is useful for you because your scenario is slighley different, but this is what I did for a whole table for a particular mandt.
    Regards

    Hi, we have to replicate some tables from sql server

    Adn is there some third part solution for replicate data
    from/to sql server and Sap ?
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi,
    Dont know if there are any tools for this but onething is sure you will need to create the table thru SE11.
    I had done something similar, created a BDC to create table and it works.
    Provide the BDC with list of fields, datatype, len, key fields and the BDC will create the table.
    You will need to activate the table once its created, for some reason sap put the table in "partial active" status after creation .
    Good luck.
