  • Extending DOS console facilities to remote system

User on one windows system should get the control of DOS facility on another windows system. Virtually, it should be working on another system from one system.
    Current Status:
Current implementation is based on java.lang.Runtime(executing cmd.exe). get the control on i/o streams of process and provideing input and sending response from process.
This is working for Request/Response type commands but cant able to execute interactive commands as like "ftp xx.com" , "dir|more" , [commands where DOS will ask y/n] , telnet etc.
Additional requirement is the context of previous commands [path, classpath setings] shall be preserved so that next commands will utilize these settings.
    Constraints :
Operating system authentication is not allowed
Port opening is disabled due to security reasons
Should work over low bandwidth dial up line
Can anybody provide some inputs on how do this in java?

The current system is a layered structure, where there will be one server system and under that 1 layer of systems will be there. Under each system of this layer, there will be one more layer of systems called workstations. The server system should able to execute dos commands on all the workstations. The server cannot access workstations directly. Intermediate systems acts as messenger between server and workstations. We are able to execute normal dos commands but cant able to execute interactive dos commands.

  • Utilizing NI DAQ hardware on a remote system.

I noticed that the new version of Measurement & Automation Explorer for LabVIEW 8 now has a "Remote Systems" tab.  Would this enable me to have say Computer A setup with some DAQ hardware and then utilize that hardware at Computer B over a 100 or 1000mbps ethernet network within LabVIEW?
If not, what would I need to be able to do that?  I've played around with the web publishing tool, and would rather have the actual LabVIEW program running on Computer B rather then on Computer A.
    Thank you for your input!

Thank you for your reply GDE [DE]!
That’s too bad.  I assumed too much and thought we
were able to do something fancy.
I work at a test facility where the tests that we run are hazardous.
We have a lot of concrete walls between us and the tests that are run.  We
have a test console setup where we have our entire test monitoring tools in a
central location.  The problem is, whenever we make a new test chamber all
the transducer lines have to be drawn to our test console.  These lines
consist of analog outputs from Omega DP units that power and read pressure
    transducers and K-type thermocouple channels.
This makes it difficult, if not impossible when time is
constraining, to setup for a new test.  Some of our newer test chambers
and rooms that we have added to our facility are further and further away from
our test console.  Long analog lines are not good for noise reasons.
Long thermocouple channels are even worse since the signal is so small and varying
temperature gradients across the line can affect measurement readings.
The solution that seems apparent to me is: why don't we
read our transducer values closest to the test cells and network that
information back to the test console through a high speed gigabit network?
I was hoping that a remote data acquisition computer would
just consist of an operating system, the hardware and hardware drivers for DAQ,
and then MAX.  The computers at the test console would be in charge of
actually administrating the test procedures (Digital I/O) and DAQ through the
    network.
I have looked at the web features available in our license
of LabVIEW 8 Professional Developer and I'm pretty impressed with its
capabilities.  The problem is I don't want to have to obtain a LabVIEW 8
license for each remote computer.  It is just too expensive.  I can
build executables with my developer’s license of LabVIEW 8, but I don't think
that the web server features can be built into an executable LabVIEW program
    (or can they?).
Can I use this shared variables solution that you speak of
    in a LabVIEW built executable?
I hope that I have provided enough information about my
problem to help stimulate some possible solutions and more discussion.  I
really appreciate the help that these forums provide and hope that I am able to
    give back to this community.

  • Remote System and Remote Key Mapping at a glance

    Hi,
I want to discuss the concept of Remote System and Remote Key Mapping.
Remote System is a logical system which is defined in MDM Console for a MDM Repository.
We can define key mapping enabled at each table level.
The key mapping is used to distinguish records at Data Manager after running the Data Import.
Now 1 record can have 1 remote system with two different keys but two different records cannot have same remote system with same remote key. So, Remote key is an unique identifier for record for any remote system for each individual records.
Now whenever we import data from a Remote System, the remote system and remote key are mapped for each individual records. Usually all records have different remote keys.
Now, when syndicating back the record with default remote key is updated in the remote system that is sent by xml file format.
If same record is updated two times from a same remote system, the remote key will be different and the record which is latest contains highest remote key.
Now, I have to look at Data Syndication and Remote key.
I have not done Data Syndication but my concept tell if there is duplicate record with same remote system but different remote keys both will be syndicated back. But if same record have two remote keys for same remote system then only the default remote key is syndicated back.
    Regards
    Kaushik Banerjee

    You are right Kaushik,
I have not done Data Syndication but my concept tell if there is duplicate record with same remote system but different remote keys both will be syndicated back.
Yes, but if they are duplicate, they needs to be merged.
But if same record have two remote keys for same remote system then only the default remote key is syndicated back.
This is after merging. So whichever remote key has tick mark in key mapping option(default) , it will be syndicated back.
Pls refer to these links for better understanding.

  • Syndicating based on Addition of a Remote System Key

    Hi
We have a distributed system syndication scenario where we need to syndicate a record automatically when a remote system key is added to an existing harmonized record in MDM. By adding the Remote System Key, it essentially means the remote system is 'subscribing' to the new harmonized record.
Is there any way to fire off a syndication event when a new remote system key is added to a record? It seems that MDM currently only flags a record as ready to be syndicated when a value changes in one of the fields of that record - it doesn't seem to identify the addition of a new system key to the record as a change to the record.
Thanks for your assistance in advance.

    Hi Ravi
Thanks for the reply. The current view is that we were going to add it manually as a remote system key mapping, as the material record would already exist and would have been harmonized in mdm - so no need to add it through an import map. The scenario is that the master record already exists and another system wishes to also receive this record. Any thoughts on what options do we have if we go this approach?
Also, is their anyway to indicate if a remote system key is added for a new system to an existing mdm material, to indicate when syndicating that the record being sent is a 'Create' record - and hence only to syndicate it to the new remote system added and not to the other systems which also have remote key's against that record?
    Thanks

  • Search for [Remote Key] and [Remote System] in Data Manager

    Hello all
I would like to be able to search on the remote key and the remote system in the MDM Data Manager is that not possible? I thought I remembered seeing that possibility under the Free-Form Search but now I can't find it.
I have, however, found this in the Data Manager reference guide:
REMOTE SYSTEM AND REMOTE KEY FIELDS
MDM uses the remote systems defined in the Remote Systems table
within the MDM Console to store and maintain key mapping information
for each record or text attribute. It does this using a virtual “key
mapping” field that you never see in the MDM Client.
This virtual key mapping field is very much like a qualified lookup field
into a virtual key mapping qualified lookup table.
Key Mapping information stored in virtual lookup field
    The Remote System and Remote Key fields are normally not visible;
however, they do appear in several places in the MDM Client.
Specifically, both fields: (1) appear in the File > Export dialogs in Record
mode for exporting value pairs; (2) are recognized by the File > Import
dialog in Record mode for importing value pairs; and (3) appear in the
Edit Key Mappings dialogs in both Record mode and Taxonomy mode,
for viewing and editing value pairs.
Is there any way to search on the value in the remote key from the Data Manager?

Not sure search i think not possible.
But you can see keys as mentioned:
    Enable Key mapping in Console.
MDM Client maens MDM Data Manager.
They do appear in several places in the MDM Client or Data Manager. Three different methods to see in DM are given already below:
Specifically, both fields: (1) appear in the File > Export dialogs in Record mode for exporting value pairs; (2) are recognized by the File > Import dialog in Record mode for importing value pairs; and (3) appear in the Edit Key Mappings dialogs in both Record mode and Taxonomy mode, for viewing and editing value pairs.

  • Remote system disconnected after installing MAX 4.7.3

    Hello!
This topic is related to the topic you can find here.
In order to repair the Regional Settings issue in Windows (XP in my case) I used the System Configuration 1.1.3 update and it seems to work. I changed the Regional Settings to my local and installed the update. Silverlight does not crash anymore, so that is fixed. However, this created a new issue:
Now my remote devices (NI-1742 and NI-1746) status is always "disconnected". The devices are connected to a different subnet than the development computer. Pinging their IPs showed that they are there. I can connect to the cameras using the Real-time Project. However, in MAX the remote system status remains "disconnected". I tried to delete and re-create the devices in MAX but that did not work either.
I also tried the latter with Windows firewall on and off and updated the software with NI Update Service. On an another computer, which has not had the update yet, I can connect to and modify the devices.
In addition, I completely reinstalled the development system, but the issue persists.
    Kind regards,
    Mart
    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

    Hey Mart,
It looks like this may be related to a possible bug introduced in MAX 4.7.3. I've uploaded Juurma.zip to our FTP site. Please obtain this .zip file by navigating to ftp://ftp.ni.com/outgoing.
This .zip file contains a patched version of mxRmCfg.dll. First, close all NI software and stop the NI System Web Server service and all its dependencies (you can get to your services by going to Start->Run and typing in services.msc). Then, navigate to this directory: C:\Program Files\National Instruments\Shared\MAX\Bin
You will need to rename the existing mxRmCfg.dll to mxRmCfg.bak, and copy the new version to that location. Restart your system, open MAX, and see if you can connect to and view your targets.
If this resolves your issue, PLEASE post back in this thread indicating as much. If not, let us know and we'll continue to investigate. Note that items on our FTP server will be removed after 48 hours, so let me know if you're unable to get that file in time

  • Remote system monitoring entry- data not relayed to Central system

    Hello Folks,
I am trying to establish a central monitoring system for our client. I am trying to test it in the DEV environment first.
The central system is a Solution manager system (Dual stack- ABAPJAVA). I am trying to bring in monitoring data from the ECC development environment (ABAPJAVA).
First of, i created to RFC connections in Solution manager system, one for data collection and the other for analysis. I have maintained the host address of the ECC system as target.
Then i have created a remote system entry in Transaction RZ21--> technical infrastructure entered the 2 RFC names and have executed the function.
At this point i am only trying to bring in ABAP stack monitoring data form the ECC system so i have not generated the CSNCONF file.
Now when i look in Solution manager RZ20-->CCMS monitoring templates, i can't see any data for the the ECC system.
I guess i am doing something wrong. Am i looking in the wrong monitor set?
As additional information: Solution manager (SMD) and ECC (ECD) use different transport domains / transport groups. I dont know if this makes a difference.
    Can some one please help.
    Regards,
    Prashant

    Hi Prashant,
if I understand correctly your system shows only MTEs from R/3 Stack, not from the OS side, pls check your SAPOSCOL. Are the data in OS06 in your remote system correct and do you see the current data, refredhed all 10 seconds?
To check your environment, pls do the following:
in th efirst step check in RZ21 > in the Topology part the System Overview for your system connection to your back end system. Are the Read Destination Data RFC and the Destination Analysis RFC correct and works the authority chek fine?
In the second step pls check in RZ21 > in the Agents for Remotey SAP Systems part; are there registered your remote ccms agents correctly and works the connection test.
Stop the agents and in your RZ20 monitor pls enter STAT in your command field. Are there displayed for your MTE nodes the read RFC destinations?
Start the agents and and in your RZ20 monitor pls enter STAT in your command field. Are there displayed for your MTE nodes the CCMS Agent RFC destinations?
To rebuild the Monitor in the CEN system you could try to reset the node of your remote system in the warm up status > go in the remote system to RZ1 > go to local segments  > change to edit > select your segments > reset segment in "WARMUP" status.
In the CEN system you coul try to go to the edit mode for the Agents for Remot SAP Systems > select your remote system and push the button Reinitialize Agents
In the back end system you can try to delete all MTEs in RZ21 > menu Technical Infrastructure > Reorgenize Segment Table > select the options with "ALL" in the CEN and the remote system to reorgenize all data.
Could you pls post for the missing MTEs a screenshot on the one side from the CEN system and on the other side from the remote system...
and last but not least you could try the following for missing OS MTEs
delete  ALALERTS, ALMTTREE and ALPERFHI in /usr/sap/ccms/<SID>_<SNR> and check in the agents folder all trace and log files for errors.

  • "Program terminated in remote system NONE: Logon failed" when adding a new table

    Hello,
I set up a replication flow from a SAP ERP 6.0 EHP7 with SAP ASE 16.0 source to SAP HANA 1.0 rev 82 target
I am using a standalone SLT system NetWeaver 7.0 with DMIS 2011_1_731 (with SP 1 to 7).
I have 100 tables to replicate.
I succeeded to set up replication for 57 tables. These tables are replicating properly.
Whenever I try to add a new one (with LTRC transaction, Data Provisioning -> Start Replication), the new table is marked as 'Failed' after a little while.
When I press 'Show Error Log' button I got an obscure error message:
"Program terminated in remote system NONE: Logon failed "
I do not understand this message. I checked both on SAP ASE source and SAP HANA target. I am still able to connect against both source and target.
Can you please tell how to troubleshoot this error.
    Thanks in advance,
    Christian

First thank you for answering my questions. I really appreciate your answers.
    I rechecked the documentation.
"Application Operations Guide SAP Landscape Transformation Replication Server Document Version: 2.3 – 2014-07-08"
    Page 29 - 30
    3.5.2.2 Data Transfer Jobs
This section explains the relationship between the number of data transfer jobs and the number of available background work process.
Data transfer and data transformation processing on SLT server system is accomplished by the background work processes of the underlying SAP NetWeaver ABAP application server. Each job occupies 1 background work process in the SAP LT Replication Server system. For each configuration, the parameter Data Transfer Jobs restricts the maximum number of data load job for each mass transfer ID (MT_ID). In total, a mass transfer ID (MT_ID) requires at least 4 background jobs to be available:
 One monitoring job (master job)
     One master controller job
 At least one data load job
 One additional job either for the migration objects definition, access plan calculation or to change configuration settings in the Configuration & Monitoring Dashboard
    Example
If you set the parameter Data Transfer Jobs to 04 in a configuration “SCHEMA1”, a mass transfer ID 001 is assigned. As a result, the following jobs should be in the system:
    1 Master controller job: /1LT/IUC_REP_CNTR_001
     At most 4 parallel jobs for MT_ID 001: /1LT/IUC_LOAD_MT_001_001/~002/~003/~004
When configuring your data load or replication scenario, consider the following:
 Do not define more data transfer jobs than the number of available application server background work processes. If all available background work processes are already occupied by jobs, any other job will have to wait until a free work process becomes available. This can lead to long wait times until a new activity (for example creating triggers) can start, and can also result in significantly increased latency times for data replication.
 The number of dialog work processes in the source system corresponds 1:1 with the number of data transfer jobs in the SAP LT Replication Server system.
 Besides the work processes allocated by the data transfer jobs you need to provide additional available work processes for controller and monitoring jobs, the migration objects definition, access plan calculation or to perform configuration changes, and so on.
Sizing for SAP LT Replication Server involves determining how many work processes are required to perform the initial load of data into the target system within an acceptable timeframe, and accomplish the change capturing and the transfer of data changes to the target system within expected latency times.
Ensure that you add enough additional work processes to allow other required SAP LT Replication Server jobs to run.
Finally, you map the number of required application server work processes to their system resource consumption (CPU, memory, disc space) using the formulas provided by the SLT Sizing Guide.
With the simple formula below, you can calculate the number of required application server work processes (WPs) on the SLT Server for each active SLT configuration.
The number of required work processes can be determined by adding
 The Number of required data transfer jobs ,
 plus one background work process for Central Master (Monitoring) Job (only one per system!),
 plus one background work process for Master Controller Job,
 plus 3-5 additional empty background work processes (recommended per configuration),
 plus approx. 3 dialog work processes (recommended for each configuration).
Note: A lack of available free application server work processes can negatively affect the data load or data replication processes.
To summarize everything, the number of 'Data Transfer Jobs' must be set depending of the number of source tables, it is not the actual number of tables.
Assume that for my 100 tables I use 10 'Data Transfer Jobs' :
    - The number of work processes on the SLT server would be 20. I took the simple formula of the documentation:
    10 data transfer jobs ,
+ 1 background work process for Central Master (Monitoring) Job (only one per system!),
+ 1 background work process for Master Controller Job,
+ 5 additional empty background work processes (recommended per configuration),
+ 3 dialog work processes (recommended for each configuration).
    - The number of dialog processes on the source server would be 10 ( equal to the number of 'Data Transfer Jobs')
    Am I correct ?

    Christian

  • Unable to Edit/Remove Remote Systems using MDM 7.1

Unable to find an answer to this in either the forums or the Wiki...
Using MDM 7.1 through the SAP MDM Console 7.1.03.54
I can add a new Remote System, it comes up with the default values for the Remote System fields:
Name: New Remote System, Code: NewRemoteSystem, Type: Inbound, Key Generation: None
But I cannot modify the field values nor can I delete the Remote System.
The right-click context menu always has 'Delete Remote System' greyed out.
Nor do I see any mechanism to modify the fields' values.  Moving to the Remote System Detail pane, none of the fields are edittable; I have tried left-clicking, right-clicking, double clicking, using the Edit tool bar menu - nothing lets me edit these fields.
My user account has the Admin role.  Looking to the Admin role, it has Execute for all functions, and Read-Write to the Remote Systems in the Tables and Fields tab.
    Any help would be appreciated.

    Hi Andrew,
Your repository should be in unloaded state to make changes in any table whether main table, subtable, Ports, Special tables or Remote Systems table etc. As you want to make changes in your repository Remote Systems, please unload your repository->Go to Admin>Remote systems>Make necessary changes (Add/Delete/update)--> Then load repository.
Note: You can only add User and Roles during Repository loaded state.

  • Stuck at "grey screen of death", disk I/O errors, Facility com.apple.system

    Good morning everybody!
Yesterday, my MacBook Air revB crashed upon trying to open an mp4 video. I had to press and hold the power button until switch-off. After this, the machine wouldn't start in either normal or safe mode, but was stuck on the grey screen with the Apple logo and the spinning wheel. A start attempt in verbose mode revealed the error "[Level 3] [ReadUID 0] [Facility com.apple.system.fs] [ErrType IO] [ErrNo 6] [IOType Read]", occurring twice. After this, some normal startup posts appeared, but each after a very long time, and preceded by the name of my harddisk and "IO error". Therefore, the system hung doe to not being able to read from the disk what it wanted to read for start-up. I booted into single user mode and used the find command to search "com.apple.system.fs" from root. It was not found. I verified the find command by searching something else, and that was found. Now I renamed my User folder in single user mode and rebooted in verbose mode. The Facility com.apple.system.fs persisted, but afterwards the system booted normally, no chain of disk IO errors. I deleted the User folder that had been newly created due to renaming the old one, and changed the old one's name back to its original value. Afterwards, the system booted normally without any errors, including the "com.apple.system.fs" one. The S.M.A.R.T. status of the disk was and is "SMARTOK". In order to find this out, I opened the console, whereupon the system crashed again. Only after 20 min of 1 s-long windows of opportunity (when the beachball disappeared) was I able to force-quit the console by invoking alt-cmd-esc, and the system continued to respond normally. There are obviously corrupt log files producing the very same read errors that had originally caused the system to hang during boot. Does anybody now what is going on?
    The best,

    Hey there,
I reread your original post... The problem to me is that what you did to make it boot again doesn't make much sense. Nothing in your home directory prevents the system from booting.
You said that the system hung when you had Console open. Most of the log files shown there are in /var/log, /Library/Logs some are also in your User directory in ~/Library/Logs, you could try deleting everything inside...
Why renaming your home folder changed anything is a mystery to me. The only theory I have is general file system corruption that got repaired during one of those bootups due to an automated fsck. That or the system deleted and recreated invalid plist files.
Mac OS has important files in /Library and /System/Library. The ones in System belong to the System and are not supposed to be touched. The ones in /Library are open for Applications to add their own System-wide Configuration settings etc. The same structure exists in your home directory ~/Libary. Usually the most interesting areas in your home directory are ~/Library/Application Support and ~/Library/Preferences. However as I previously said nothing in your home directory would keep the system from booting. It would always go to the blue screen before the login screen would appear (even when you have auto login on).
    Good luck!

  • How do i extend the bandwidth of my system

The control problem I am having is extending the bandwidth of a force control system. The system is used to apply mechanical load to bone to facilitate research into Osteoporosis. The following concisely describes the system and the different things I have tried to solve the problem,. I imagine it is quite lengthy compared to the usual questions but any advice you have to offer to a Mechanical engineer would be much appreciated.
    System Description:
I am using Labview (with Flex motion) to program the NI 7344 motion control servo board (PID update rate of 62.4 micro-seconds). This output signal is then amplified by the MID 7654 power amplifier, supplying current to a Voice coil (this can be considered as a Linear DC motor with a bandwidth of 40Hz). This applies the force to a bone sample. Feedback is then provided by a load cell and connected to the ADC feedback channel of the servo board. (For full specs of all mentioned components please refer to the web links which are listed at the end of this email!)
    Problem description:
After optimally tuning the PID characteristics and defining the amplitude and pre-load, I can successfully control a continuous, sinusoidally varying force (frequency 1Hz), however when I try to increase the frequency to 10Hz, the amplitude of the output waveform is marginally reducedi.e. there is attenuation. I know that the bone sample is not viscoelastic enough to act as a low pass filter. The bandwidth of the Voice coil is not a limiting factor either, so..
How do I extend the bandwidth of this system?
The following Paragraph describes some of the things I have tried, which have had some or no influence. Being a mechanical engineer I would be grateful for any expert advice.
(Note all results have been verified with an oscilloscope where applicable)
    Influential Factors:
    1) Method of programming.
To generate the wave form a series of points describing one period are written to a circular buffer on the servo board. The points are executed in 10 milli-second intervals and are splined through using a cubic spline algorithm (hence a period described by 100 points gives us a frequency of 1Hz and a 10 point wave gives us 10Hz). All this happens on the servo board in real time. I am confident that although the integrity of the sine wave is reduced at 10 Hz the amplitude is still described within the 10 points and so is not the reason for attenuation. However this does limit the maximum frequency achievable. (I would say the max frequency is about 20Hz)
    2) Redefining the resolution of the of the ADC Feedback
The 12 bit ADC feedback channel is scanned at a rate of 50 micro seconds (faster than the loop update rate which is 62.4 micro-seconds). Initially the voltage range was specified at -/+ 10 V giving 20/(2^12) Volts per significant bit, however I noticed that when I increased the resolution to the max possible by changing the range to 0-5 V (giving 5/(2^12) volts per significant bit), the amount of attenuation was reduced, however there was still some attenuation there. This begs another question why would this factor improve the frequency response???
    3) PID characteristics
The system gives an optimum step response when using only a pure integral term and setting Kp= 0, Kd= 0. It seems as though the fastest step response is limited to about 6 milli-seconds. The system is fine tuned and any slight increase in the integral term results in immediate instability. Therefore there is no scope to improve the system bandwidth by altering the PID characteristics.
Can you offer me any expert advice?
Considering this information, what would you advise? Do I need a board with a faster loop update rate ?, I have considered using Labview Real Time, which offers a board with a 26 KHz update rate as apposed to the 16Hz (62.4 micro-seconds) provided by the current board). Do I need to use different control algorithms as apposed to PID, if so which ones???
Any help or advice you have to offer would be much appreciated and could help in the battle against osteoporosis. Should you require more information or would like to speak to me send me an email and I can answer any further questions or give you a ring.

    Hi Duncan,
i'm sorry that this answer took this long, but i think a constructive answer which takes a long time is better than a useless answer in a short time....
For the following thought-provoking impulses we have to consider the signal-change when increasing the frequency. The points which describe the signal get streched over the period. Increasing the frequency enlarges the distance between the points.
    a) The spline algorithm could be the problem here hence the signal does not correctly pass through the points anymore with increased frequency. Therefor the amplitude decreases with increased frequency. Perharps another kind of spline algorithm can be helpful.
    b) Another point can be the control deviation. Since a feedback control system needs a devia
tion for the control, the deviation gets larger when increasing the frequency of the controlled loop. Maybe the control loop has to set the desired value when already getting to a new point. So the signal could get "washy" and the maximum amplitude is reduced.
In this case, the "Velocity Feedforward"-parameter could be of use. This parameter is to use with caution for it can have similar effects like a too high chosen integral term.
    c) You can try to set the 7344 to circular contour. Therefor use 2 axis where you use the second axis as dummy (open step). There is a major disadvantage in this setup: since you use 2 axes at the same time, the 7344 can update each axis only with 125 microseconds. But perharps this is sufficient. Either way the parameter of the control loop have to be adapted (integral term reduced).
    d) If the 125 microseconds describend in c) is insufficient, you can try to test it with a 7352. The 7352 can handle 2 axis at a time with a update rate of 62.5 microse
    conds for each axis.
I hope this answer helps you in solving your rather special issue.

  • How to extract data from a remote system

    Hi,
I want to extract data from another system and map it with a target table in my local machine. what is the procedure to do that?
I tried to create another module specifying location of that remote system I could extract the table but when I am mapping with the target table I am getting this error
ORA-04052: error occurred when looking up remote object [email protected]@ORACLE_LOCATION_UBN_15
ORA-00604: error occurred at recursive SQL level 1
    ORA-01017: invalid username/password; logon denied
    ORA-02063: preceding line from UBNDW@ORACLE_LOCATION_UBN_15
here ORACLE_LOCATION_UBN_15 is the location and UBNDW is the SID for that system
SCOTT is the username I have provided while creating the module
Please help me out with this..
    Thanks

    Hi Roberto,
thank you for the fast answer. I have read this before but i don't understand the needed steps on the Oracle-System.
    Hope anyone can help me...

  • Error while processing message to remote system

    Hi,
I am trying to load the data from flat file to R/3. I am using the file adapter to pick the file and RFC adapter to transfer into R/3. I am getting the success status in the sxmb_moni and adapter framework(green for both the adapters). But when i check the status in the RWB message monitoring, I am getting the error.
I am using the message interface defined in the software component for R/3 system which has a different namespace. When i am trying to upload data, i am getting the error as namespace missing in RWB. The detailed error in RWB is as follows:
Exception caught by adapter framework: error while processing message to remote system:com.sap.aii.af.rfc.core.client.RfcClientException: could not get functionname from XML requst: com.sap.aii.af.rfc.RfcAdapterException: failed to read funtionname from XML document: missing namespace declara
Delivery of the message to the application using connection AFW failed, due to: error while processing message to remote system:com.sap.aii.af.rfc.core.client.RfcClientException: could not get functionname from XML requst: com.sap.aii.af.rfc.RfcAdapterException: failed to read funtionname from XML document: missing namespace declara.

    Hi,
    >>><i>So i tried creating a RFC(using sm59)in the R/3,
When i try to import the RFC i have created, I am not able to see the one i have created.</i>
In your R/3 system, go to se38, enter your RFC name. Go to attributes tab, and click on the radio button named "remote enabled"
This will enable your RFC to be called by an application outside the R/3 system.
    >>><i>Can you please let me know as to what is it that it is connecting to the R/3(destination) and why am i not able to find my RFC.</i>
You are tyring to log on to your R/3 system, from xi, in order to import the RFC that you have created. Hence you are asked for user id and password.
You are not able to find your RFC since it has not been remotely enabled or has not been activated.
    Regards,
    Smitha.
