F-43 Entering Vendor Invoice error
Hi all,
I am trying to do a vendor invoice through F-43.
I entered all the details.
In Tax data while i am selecting GOTO in menu bar, the DETAILS button is grey out.
i want that option to work.
where is the setting for this.
Thanx in advance
Regards
KK
Dear Mr KK
I believe you are trying to post vendor invoice along with service tax or sales tax
when ever you post such transcations
1 you need to select proper tax code along with Tax Juridiction
2 Tick on Calculate Tax Check box (that button is available beside Tax Code)

Error during entering Vendor Invoice
Experts,
I created a new tax code - assigned a tax procedure to it ( Already assigned the tax calculation procedure to the country) and assigned g/l accounts to the tax code.
However, when i enter a vendor invoice, i get the error:
Specify a Tax Jurisdiction Key
Message # F5 566
We basically use taxware(external system) for our tax purposes - and the tax procedure is assigned to the taxware system ( Table TTXD) and this would be determining the tax jurisdiction key - Am i right in saying that ?
How do i overcome this error ?
All answers would be duly appreciated and rewarded with points.
Thanks,
Nanditacan you check in spro, under external tax calculation whether the logical destination is defined ( SM59) and this is assigned ( under activate external tax calculation) to your tax calculation procedure which should be TAXUSX. Also check in OBBG if TAXUSX is assigned to your country.
Thanks,

Hi guys
When i am trying to do a vendor invoice, i am getting the following error
"Item category 04000 not allowed in accounting transaction 0300/0001".
Please advise...
thanks
srikanthThis is document splitting error message. Check document type which you are using for posting this and combination of transaction and variant (for your is 0300/0001, vendor invoice), and account which is used in posting is category 04000 - Cash account.
Either check document type and change it (instandard system it would be DA), or you made a mistake in customizing

Enter Vendor Invoice - SAP T.Code FB60
We have received an invoice from vendor for supplies and we do not have a purchase order for this invoice. We proceed to account through SAP T.Code FB60.
The vendor should have charged sales tax but has not. While accounting the invoice we want to record accrual for self assessed use tax.
The system calculates the tax but assumes the invoice value is inclusive of use tax. But we know that the price is exclusive of tax and hence we need to make an additional accrual for sales tax and debit the supplies expense account.
Can this be done? Is this how other SAP run business record this transaction?I will give an example to make my query more clear.
Vendor invoice 5000, Rate of tax 7% , Entry psoted by system:
Dr Expenses for supplies a/c 4,672.90
Dr Sales Tax Payable a/c 327.10
Cr Vendor a/c 5,000.00
Entry required:
Dr Expesnes for Supplies a/c 5350
Cr Vendor a/c 5000
Cr Sales Tax Payable a/c 350 -
Vendor Invoice with Same Reference Number in two fiscal years.
Vendor Invoice entered in SAP.
DocumentNum 1600000612 Reference "47026723WA" Vendor Number "637278" Year "2008"
DocumentNum 1600000667 Reference "47026723WA" Vendor Number "637278" Year "2009"
We are thinking SAP will not allow/generate invoice with same Reference number. How can we restrict from entering Vendor invoices with Same Reference Number from same Vendor.

In MIRO transaction (enter incoming invoice) system brings used positions.
Hi All,
In MIRO transaction (enter incoming invoice) system brings used positions (items) as available. It shouldn't work like that. Enclosed you can find a print screen from MIRO transaction. Both items in this order have already been used but still it lets user to post invoice against them.
plz help.
regards,
nishithHi,
Make "Reference number" mandatory in 'Required during document entry segment' in "RE" document type in OBA7 t.code & save.
Set Error message for messages M8-471,M8-108 & M8-462 in t.code: OMRM & save
So when you do MIRO , you need to enter VENDOR INVOICE NUMBER in Reference number field in MIRO & post document and further more same VENDOR INVOICE NUMBER you can not used in MIRO t.code again, if you do so, system will show error message.

FV60 Vendor Invoice Amount Split Tab Field
Greetings! Our users do not have authorization to access to FB60 - how can we open the fields (OTA and NAME OF OTA PAYEE) in the Amount Split Tab using FV60 - Park Vendor Invoice? Thank you in advance
Hi:
In the amount split tab of FV60 there will be a Yellow and blue button on the right corner named as configuration. Just click on it and go to Administrator and there you will see OTA and name of OTA payee . Please see if this has been set as invisible there. If they have not been set as invisible and still you can not see them in FV60 Amount split then the only way to fetch these fields in FV60 is through SHD0...For that please proceed as under
Go to SHD0...Enter FV60 in Transaction code and ZFV60 in transaction variant.Press create button on the left top corner and enter co code and press enter again when next screen appears, it will take you to the main screen of FV60.. Enter vendor , invoice date, amount , GL account and and its amount and then keep on press entering and giving name to screen where it is required unless a FV60 main screen appears again...Now go to amount split tab and keep on pressing enter unless amount split tab screen appears, data already entered in main screen will be seen by you there , press enter two times times you will see a screen 0090 carrying these OTA fields there you will have to just un check the invisible tick from them and then exit and save with a proper name for screen variant. Give ABAP package name and exit. Upon exit in SDH0 standard variant tab assign and activate this ZFV60 variant and now you will be able to see them.
Hope it resolves your issue.

FI_AP_FBR2_Post_With_Reference (FBR2)
Business Process Description Overview
Use this procedure to copy a previously posted non-PO invoice document that uses many of the same values.
This may help reduce data entry time if used correctly. For example, the library invoice vouchers that have the same vendor but many invoices on them might be a good example of when to use this transaction code.
Trigger
Perform this procedure when there is an invoice that needs to have data entered where most of the fields are the same as a prior invoice document already entered in the system.
Prerequisites
· Security Role: AP_DIR_INV_ENTRY
· An FB60 invoice has already been data entered.
Menu Path
None
Transaction Code
FBR2
Tips and Tricks
· If you would like to save this transaction under your "Favorites" folder, right-click on the "Favorites" folder, select "Insert Transaction" and type in this t-code when the box appears.
· You may use the transaction code: search_sap_menu to search for a transaction codes menu path.
Procedure
Enter Vendor Invoice: Company Code PUR
Typically the FBR2 - Post With Reference transaction is accessed from the Financial transaction code that you just used. For Accounts Payable, typically we would use the FB60 transaction code to enter invoices that are not PO-related. After you have entered an invoice, you can now post a second invoice. Feel free to post an invoice in DEV to the Vendor ID number: 31. Choose today's date as the Invoice Date. Enter a Vendor Invoice in the Reference Field. Enter $1000 as the Amount. Enter a Text that you want to show on the remittance advice to the vendor. Choose your own GL Account and Cost Center. Enter 21010000 as the Fund. Make sure to also enter $1000 in the Amount in doc. curr. field.
Please be aware that the FB60 screenshot above is using the ZPurdue Variant so unless you are also using that same variant the order of your columns may differ.
Refer to FB60 documentation for more information regarding entering a non-PO related invoice.
After an invoice has been entered, you may proceed to step 1. If you prefer not to enter an FB60 invoice then after you open FB60, immediately do step 1, but enter "1900001354" in the Document Number field.
1. Select Goto Post with reference Shift+F9 to go to the FBR2 transaction.
Post Document: Header Data
The document number you just entered in FB60 should now display. If you did not first enter your own FB60 invoice, please enter 1900001354 in the Document Number field. Make sure Company Code is PUR and Fiscal Year is 2007.
If you did enter your own FB60 invoice to reference to, please be aware that the data entry fields will have different content in the screen shots than what you are seeing on your screen.
2. Click or the "Enter" key to proceed.
Post Document: Header Data
Because we want to avoid paying the same invoice twice, we must change the reference field to another Vendor Invoice text.
3. As required, complete/review the following fields:
Field Name
R/O/C
Description
Reference
R
Allows for further clarification of an entry by reference to other sources of information, either internal or external to SAP. Any SAP-posted document number can be used as a "reference" when entering a new document.
Example: VENDORINVOICE#2
Your reference number should be different than the one above. Otherwise, the system will think you are entering a duplicate invoice. Please change your text slightly.
Post Document: Header Data
4. Click or the "Enter" key to proceed.
Post Document Display Overview
You are now viewing the document overview screen.
5. Double-click to open that line item.
Post Document Correct Vendor item
When you open the Vendor line item, you may change the Text field here to change what appears on the remittance advice.
6. As required, complete/review the following fields:
Field Name
R/O/C
Description
Text
O
Description field for an entry.
Example: prints on remittance advice - for second invoice
Post Document Correct Vendor item
7. Click to return to the document overview screen.
Post Document Display Overview
The document overview screen.
8. Click to post this second invoice which has the same fields as the original except a different vendor invoice number and a different remittance advice text.
Information
Pending upon your user settings, you may not get this pop up box, but just a message in the bottom left hand corner of the screen.
9. Click to close the box.
Enter Vendor Invoice: Company Code PUR
Because you used the menu (Goto Post with reference) from FB60 to access the FBR2 transaction code, you are then returned to the FB60 transaction after you have posted the invoice.
10. Another way to access FBR2 is to just type the t-code in the field at the top of the screen. As required, complete/review the following fields:
Field Name
R/O/C
Description
Transaction Code
R
A unique four-character (in most cases) identification assigned to each SAP transaction based on its purpose.
Example: /nfbr2
11. Click or the "Enter" key to proceed.
Post Document: Header Data
The FBR2 transaction code opens with the last document number entered as the default.
12. Click or the "Enter" key to proceed.
Post Document: Header Data
This time we will change the vendor number
13. Change the Reference field. As required, complete/review the following fields:
Field Name
R/O/C
Description
Reference
R
Allows for further clarification of an entry by reference to other sources of information, either internal or external to SAP. Any SAP-posted document number can be used as a "reference" when entering a new document.
Example: VENDORINVOICE
Your reference number should be different than the one above. Otherwise, the system will think you are entering a duplicate invoice. Please change your text slightly.
Post Document: Header Data
14. As required, complete/review the following fields:
Field Name
R/O/C
Description
Account
R
Unique identification number. SAP uses several kinds of accounts. SAP's general ledger accounts are similar to standard in most accounting systems. SAP also uses sub-ledger accounts for customers (accounts receivable), vendors (accounts payable), and assets (asset accounts). These sub-ledger accounts roll-up to a general ledger account.
Example: 5000129
Vendor 5000129 in DEV has withholding tax applied to it in the vendor master.
Post Document: Header Data
15. Click or the "Enter" key to proceed.
Post Document Add Vendor item
If the vendor invoice date was a date in the past, the due date for pay immediately will be in the past. You may get the above informational message to alert you of the date. If you do, just hit the "Enter" key to acknowledge it.
Enter Withholding Tax Information
Because this vendor has withholding tax information in its vendor master, you will receive this popup up box.
16. Click to accept it.
Refer to the Tax Department for more information regarding withholding tax.
Post Document Display Overview
You should now see the document overview screen. If you do not, then click on .
17. Double-click OR click to open it.
Post Document Correct Vendor item
18. As required, complete/review the following fields:
Field Name
R/O/C
Description
Text
O
Description field for an entry.
Example: change remittance advice text
Post Document Correct Vendor item
19. Click to view that Vendor's Withholding tax information again.
Enter Withholding Tax Information
If for some reason, for this invoice the vendor should not have any withholdings, you would enter a 0.00 in both the W/Tax Base and W/Tax Amt fields.
When using the FBR2 to change withholding tax amounts, you need to be very careful if using this new invoice as the "reference" invoice for the next one. For example, if you put 0.00 in both W/Tax Base and W/Tax Amt fields then if this is the reference invoice, those 0.00 amounts will automatically be applied to the next; however, you won't see the 0.00 displayed. The 0.00 will be assumed.
20. Click to close the box.
Post Document Correct Vendor item
21. Click to post the invoice.
Post Document: Header Data
Your new document number will display in the bottom left hand corner. Pending upon your user settings, you may also get a pop up box to acknowledge.
You have posted another invoice, but this time you changed the vendor ID used, the vendor invoice, and the text on the remittance advice.
Notice that the "Document Number" field now defaults to the newly posted invoice number.
Because you entered FBR2 in the transaction code field to access this screen, when you post an invoice you are returned to the beginning of the FBR2 screen. Remember, when you accessed it from the menu line of FB60? If you access it that way, you are then returned to FB60 after the Post with Reference document is posted.
22. Because you are returned to the start of FBR2 again, you may just click or the "Enter" key to proceed.
Post Document: Header Data
Now you are at the start of entering a new invoice again.
23. Click to return to the main menu without finishing the process of entering another invoice.
24. You have completed this transaction.
Result
You have posted two documents by using a reference document. This reduced the data entry required since it defaults the fields from the reference document.
Comments
Be very careful using this transaction if you change withholding tax amounts.
To see the results/calculations of discounts and withholdings, you must run F110, the Payment Program.

Tax code V0 country IN does not exist in procedure TAXINN
Message no. FF713
Diagnosis
You entered a tax code which is not defined for the country of the company code to be posted to in the tax calculation procedure.
System Response
Procedure
Check and, if necessary, correct the entry.
Procedure for System Administration
If it is not an input error, check and possibly change the system settings.
To do this, choose Maintain entries (F5).
Check whether the company code is assigned to the correct country and whether the correct tax calculation procedure has been entered for the company code country.
Create a new tax code if necessary.
Caution:
Since it is possible that the tables in question are being updated at a different time on another computer, it can take a certain amount of time for the tax code to be on all local machines in client server architectures after saving the new code.

EDI Error in intercompany vendor invoice for Argentina
Hello.
While issuing and RD04 message for an inter-company customer in Argentina I received error 8A551: Format of reference document number is invalid., as in the attached file; the RD04 message is sent OK but the iDoc fails in 51 status.
What is the segment/field where reference number is expected? In analysis mode in we05 the segment indicated, E1EDS01 010 Segment 000088 has no field to enter any reference...
One FI consultant mentioned that this check-up is due to FI document determined during iDoc processing: RE checks the reference number format and we should change it, is there a way to do that through configuration?
I would like to keep this process as much "automated" as possible, for instance it would be better to have the vendor invoice created but parked pending the proper reference number.
All inputs are welcome, thank you in advance.Thank you Patra, your suggestion can be implemented and I'm pursuing this path.
This may take up to 1 week to become available in the productive environment so meanwhile I'm also looking to an alternate way to "fix" that. One feasible method suggested by an FI consultant is to change the FI invoice type determined by the system, form RE to a different one.
Any idea of how can I do that?
Thank you. -
Error Message Posting a Non-PO Vendor Invoice
The instance is ECC 6.0.
While trying to post a non-PO vendor invoice, I am getting the below error message:
"RKEAK-FIELD(12) is not an input field
Parked document could not be posted 00 S 347 RKEAK-FIELD"
Does anyone ever bumped into the same error message or have an idea what is generating the error?
The issue started happening after one of the accounts in posting (Vendor Discounts) which is a CE was changed to post to Profitability Segment in OKB9. This error was not faced earlier when the account was posting to Cost Centers.
We are using new GL and Doc Splitting functionality. Thanks for your reply.
I checked the note and it says the affected release are 3.0 D to 3.1G. But we are on ECC 6.0. Moreover, as per the note this is an issue with Tcode FB01, but I am using tcode FB60 for creating the non-PO invoice...
Please let me know your thoughts... -
Error while posting vendor invoice in F-43
Hi experts,
while posting vendor invoice with Tax code , i am getting the following error:
Posting is only possible with a zero balance; correct document
Message no. F5060
Here tax line item is not yet all displaying in simulation.
If I posted with tax code with ZERO percentage it is posting correctly.
where as same transaction I am able to post through transaction code FB60.
What could be the reason?
regs,
ramesh bHi
Please check and correct the respective line items , because your selecting incorrect GL account with respective posting keys
Example : You have exp gl a/c at first line items against vendor invoice posting's, normaly this vendor will post in first line item with posting key is 31 with vendor a/c and second line item 40 with exp GL a/c and same you will check any required inputs have missed out from this transactions.

Error 'No tax code found for difference' in Posting Vendor Invoice IDOC
Hi All,
I am getting error message 'No tax code found for difference' while posting Vendor Invoice IDOC into SAP. IDOC type is INVOIC02. There is no difference in PO price, Invoice price and even Standard price. then why this error message? Other Vendor EDI settings are done ( OBCA, OBCD, OBCE etc). Is there any thing specific to be done in the config for this error?
IDOC has PO as reference document.
I looked into several threads in SDN forum but could not find proper solution
Can any ine help me with this issue?
Thanks in advance
HariHi
You might be missing the tax code for uploding through IDOC
so you can use the t.code we02 and give the doc and find the error
go to the WE19 to edit the tax code
and USE the t.code BD87 to select the doc and process it
thanks
