F110:Advice by email with generic email id as sender

Hi All,
Can any one suggest a solution for the requirement below:
Business wants to send email to vendors for payment advice during F110 ,the set up of the BTE is done and when executed the email sent is displayed from the user email id . instead the business wants to send the advices from generic email id .
Is there a user exit or any other config to be done for the email to go from the generic id ?
Appreciate any help on this issue.

Hi SE,
Yes you can have it implemented but with it requires co-operation from your Abaper.
To have a generic email id its better to pick the email id from the vendor/customer master data -> correspondance-> Accounting clerk. Then in T001S table connect the accounting clerk with sap user id of the AP/AR staff. Atlast in Su3 of the AP/AR user give your generic email id. Step seems to be round circle but it is one of the best way of doing it.

How to send email thru generic email ID?

I am sending payment advice as PDF email attachment. But it is going from the person's personal email ID who runs the remittance procedure but we don't want his email ID to come into picture. Is there any way we can send email thru a generic email address?

Email with image attached refuses to send

I am having a problem with my email. Whenever I try to send a email with a picture attached it refuses to send. Regular email still works as does emails with files(.exl,.pdf,.doc,) attached. I also doesn't appear to be email provider specific since I have multiple email types and It affects all of them. I have tried removing my emails and reentering the information which doesn't appear to help, also I am able to transfer the file from the outbox to my inbox and send it from my a different device (in this case my iPhone).
If anyone has a suggestion I would appreciate it.
Also i have the iPad 1 with IOS 4.3.3 installed

A couple of things that you could try are :
closing the Mail app completely ? From the home screen (i.e. not with Mail 'open' on-screen) double-click the home button to bring up the taskbar, then press and hold any of the apps on the taskbar for a couple of seconds or so until they start shaking, then press the '-' in the top left of the Mail app to close it, and touch any part of the screen above the taskbar so as to stop the shaking and close the taskbar.
a reset : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.

Responding to many emails with one email

If you receive a bunch of emails from different people who are not in your address book and not linked to each other, for example, response to a craigslist listing, is there a way to respond to all of them with one email?

Andreas Amann’s Mail Scripts has an Add Addresses script that I believe would allow you to easily create a new group in Address Book with those people. You can then send the message to the group and get rid of the group afterwards if you wish.

IPhone 5 no longer receive emails, but can still send emails with yahoo email account. Any ideas to fix?

iPhone 5 with iOS 8.1.2 stopped receiving mail yesterday. Have yahoo email account. Can still send emails. Have turned device off/on. Have done the dual off/on thing using top button and menu button. Issue seems to be only with main inbox, as sub folders are receiving mail. Other Apple device is not having issues like this, just on iPhone.

Your issue is with the Yahoo email account which is notoriously bad.
you can try deleting and reinstalling the email account.
If that doesn't fix it try the yahoo email app.

Bursting Reports via email with seperate email address for each page

I have been reading "Oracle® Application Server Reports Services Publishing Reports to the Web" (most specifically chapter 15 Creating Advanced Distributions) trying to figure this out but still having difficulty getting my head around it.
I am trying to email invoices when applicable. Here is the "perfect world scenario".
Report is scheduled to run once a day.
Any qualifying invoices are picked up in the run.
If there is an email address associated with the record the invoice is sent via email. (email address would be included on report and variable)
If no email address is associated, the invoice is printed.
There could/would be several different invoices on a single run.
Does this mean I have to write dynamically write a distribution.xml file for each run or can I pass the email address as a variable to the distribution.xml?

Hi !
You're able to use Report-Variables (e.g. from a Group in the Data Model) in the distribution.xml-File to send email to different adresses.
Just bear in mind that you also need to set the "repeat-on" Property of the relevant layout section and use a "foreach"-Loop in the distribution.xml.
So, no, no "dynamic" building of xml-Files necessary (though we do it at times...).

I would, however, run the report twice, once for "all email-invoices" with email-distribution file, once for "all invoices w/o email-adress" with (probably) printer-distribution file, as "exception" handling inside a distribution.xml could be a bit awkward...

When replying to an email with � in the message it sends blank but when forwarding it changes to and goes threw fine

I dont understand what Thunderbird is doing. This happens when replying to a quote with a ® within the email. Forwarding it keeps it as a ® but just hitting reply it changes to � and sends a blank email.

You see the � (&#xfffd;) when an 8 bit encoding like ISO-8859-1 is selected. 
It would normally be sufficient to select Unicode (UTF-8) to see the real character.

Sending email with BT email account on Samsung Gal...

Appreciate if anybody can assist with this question, spent many hours speaking to people and researching but getting nowhere!
Have recently been unable to send emails off my Samsung Android Phone, Can receive them okay but when sending they just go to Outbox and go nowhere. Settings currently on are below:

How can I fix this?

Open the setting app and check the settings for that account (Mail, Contact, Calendar). You may need to consult your email provider to determine the correct settings. You could also try deleting and reading the account.

Accessing emails with an email attachment

Apologies if this has been answered, but I can't find any reference. I get sent emails which have another email as an attachment. On my desktop, using Outlook 2003 the mail is recieved ok and I can access the atachment and reply to it as if I had recieved it directly. When I get the same mail on my iPhone 3g (2.0.1) the attachement appears to have been "opened" so that I can no longer reply to the original sender - only the forwarder. Anyone got the answer?

Look at the FileMagnet application in the app store. It will let you move pdfs from your mac to the iphone. You can open the pdf in filemagnet and read it. It is a VERY bare bones viewer so large documents are probably not appropriate.

You're right - it says '2 days ago' or '6 days ago' or 'two weeks ago' - eventually it shows the date when the message gets old enough. It's crackers, and I'm not sure you can do anything about it.

Why can I not verify my Apple ID? I keep getting this message after trying: "the email address is alread in use or you may already have an apple id associated with this email address. please try again or sign in using your existing apple id"

I tried this and it worked:
1) Visit My Apple ID at https://appleid.apple.com/.
2) Click the Manage your account link on the right sideof the page.
3) Enter the account name (Apple ID) and the password you used when creating the account.
4) Change the email address associated with your account.
5) Send new verification email
I also got this from apple CS for other things to try:
Please follow these steps to access your Apple ID accountinformation:
1) Visit My Apple ID at https://appleid.apple.com/.
2) Click the Manage your account link on the right sideof the page.
3) Enter the account name (Apple ID) and the password youused when creating the account.
4) Delete any duplicate email addresses associated withyour account.
5) Click the Save Changes button.
If you do not have duplicate email addresses on your account, it is possible that your email address is already being used withanother Apple ID. In order to verify your email address with the current AppleID, it will need to be disassociated from your other Apple ID. You can do thatby following these steps:
1) Visit My Apple ID at https://appleid.apple.com/.
2) Log in with your other Apple ID and password.
3) Select the Manage your account link.
4) Choose Name, ID, and Email Address from the left sideof the page.
5) Next to Primary Email Address, select Edit so that youcan change the email address associated with this Apple ID.
6) Once you've made the desired change, select SaveChanges.
7) Choose Sign Out from the top right of the page.
If you would like to have the verification email resentto you, please sign into https://appleid.apple.com/with the Apple ID you want to verify, and make sure there is not a typo in yourPrimary Email Address. Select the "Edit" link to the right of your email address to make corrections and then click the "Save Changes" button.Once the typo is fixed, or if there is no typo, click the "Resend"link under your email address.
If you still do not receive the verification email,please reply to this email with the email address that you intend to use onyour Apple ID.

How can I attach a form to an email with TO address default in?

I have a form with a hyperlink to an email address. I want to have it when the user clicks the hyperlink the form attaches to an email with the address filled out. I have figured out how to open an email with the email filled out; and how to open an email with the form attached - but not both. I am not very familiar with JavaScript - but I have to believe there is a way to "Execute a menu item -- File>Attach to email..." AND "open a web link -- Mailto:[email protected]".
