  • Failed to create DNS with ODBC Datadirect Driver - error missing or invalid option

    Dear All,
    I tried to post a first time and get my post thrown away. So please just tell me if that's not the place to post such questions. I tried this forum because I didn't find any revelant information yet on internet.
    I installed Informatica and Oracle 11g, tried to create my DSN with the Driver DataDirect Oracle Wire Protocol. I keep bumping into the message " [Informatica][ODBC Oracle wire protocol driver][Oracle] ora-00922: missing or invalid option".
    Can you please help to understand where the error comes from?
    Here are my current status :
    * My table in the Oracle database is created with every field followed by NOT NULL option, the table is successfully created.
    * The connection to the Oracle database using Oracle TNSNames Connection server name and TNSNames files seem to work, I tried to connect with another driver Oracle in OraDB 11g_home1. This one succeeds.

    While creating TYPE remove semi colon from end of the statement and also dont use extra / as / means execute last statement so you may encounter error..

  • Fail to create roles with users in LDAP

    I installed and configured two Directory Services one for AM and one for identity. I created an LDAP Data Store for the root realm and can see the LDAP users in the Subjects->User tab in AM. I can create Subjects->Groups and add LDAP users successfully, but I cannot create Subjects->Roles with LDAP users. I get the following error:
    Plug-in com.sun.identity.idm.plugins.files.FilesRepo: Unable to find entry: C:\SFU\app\ironscale\amserver\idRepo\user\awhite
    Any ideas? I also found it odd that my new Group was created in the FileRepo under idRepo/group. I thought it would have been written to the AM DS.
    I deleted the flat file Data Store and the Group/Roles tabs disappeared. Must I import additional LDIFS to my LDAP Identity DS to store roles and groups it that DS?

    Update.
    I deleted LDAPv3 Plug-in Supported Types and Operations values group, user, and role, based on Sun's Access Manager training class examples. I re-added them and deleted the File Data Store and groups now get created in the LDAP Identity repo. However when I create a role and add users the operation sucessfully completes. But I cannot find the roles using an LDAP browser. I can grep the role name from the LDAP database and the roles remain after restarting the db and AM. It appears AM is adding roles in a way other tools cannot see them.

  • I faile to create outbound delivery with reference to scheduling agreement by using BAPI_OUTB_DELIVERY_CREATE_SLS.

    Dear Team,
    Can you please help me by providing the BAPI name for creating the outbound delivery for Scheduling Agreement in SAP SD .
    I faile to create outbound delivery with reference to scheduling agreement by using BAPI_OUTB_DELIVERY_CREATE_SLS.
    The system says "missing data in the BAPI interface: VBAK VBTYP E". It seems another FM should be used for scheduling agreement only.
    Thank you for your help in this regard .

    Hi Raghu.
    As much as I don't want to do this but just to resolve this error I created an enhancement implementation in include LV50R_CREACSV form routine dcs_check_so_vs_interface and modified VBTYP to blank to avoid that error message.
    Got the tip from this thread http://scn.sap.com/thread/1972059
    Unless... anybody has a brighter idea (without modifying the standards)?

  • Windows Server 2012 Windows Backup failed with following error code '0x8078006B' (Windows Backup failed to create the shared protection point on the source volumes.).

    The Volume Shadow Copy service initially was running under the context of System, so we thought that ‘System’ doesn’t have permissions to access network shares.
    When the Volume Shadow Copy service was running under the context of System, this was the error logged:
    “failed with following error code '0x8078014B' (There was a failure in creating a directory on the backup storage location.).”
    Which is likely due to not having permissions to write to the network location.
     This is a scheduled backup trying to write to a network location, so we changes the service to run under the context of an account that does have permissions to write to the network share.
      Then the error changed to this:
    “failed with following error code '0x8078006B' (Windows Backup failed to create the shared protection point on the source volumes.).”

    We aren’t really seeing anything that gives any hint on what the issue is.
    Any ideas?  Thanks in advance!

    We are trying to back up folders/files from 2 local drives (C: & D:), both of which have only 10% space used, and 100 GB free.
    We are attempting to back the files up to a Remote Shared File (and there is 100+ GB free space out there).
      If we try another network location, we receive the exact same error.
     This is Windows Server 2012, not running Hyper-V and is a physical server not a VM.
    Thank you for the link.

  • ERROR: Cannot create authcontext with null org-Naming query failed  code:21

    I use OpenSSO Enterprise 8.0 Update 1 Patch1 Build 6.1(2009-June-9 12:56)
    I try to evaluate the Apache 2.2 web agent.
    It's been installed without errors, and both the OpenSSO and Apache server restarted.
    The agent profile's been created. Also, I use the default (OpenDS) configuration repository
    for OpenSSO, but an external (DSEE) user data directory.
    I think I did all the required steps with regards to both directories, since I don't see any error
    in the LDAP logs, each entry seems to be found as expected, the BIND operations are all
    successfull.
    Also, I use a sub-realm rather than the default top realm, and thus, I've modified the agent configuration
    (in the agent profile) so that the login URL is now ... /UI/Login?realm=myrealm
    When I try to access the Apache homepage, I get an error 500. The most recent OpenSSO server log file
    (...../opensso/debug/Authentication) contains the following message:
    ERROR: Cannot create authcontext with null org
    The most recent agent log file (....../apache22_agent/Agent_001/logs/debug/amAgent) has the following error:

    I don't know what else I can do to debug this problem and find a solution. Any idea ?

    And I can not share the folder.
    If I go from my i-mac get mac mini server view and access the public folder, but I can not open any of the files there.
    That I can do to fix this?

  • Creating Flex 3.5 components with Flash CS5

    Is there a way to create components compatible with Flex 3.5 by using  Flash CS5?  Whenever I run the "Convert Symbol to Flex  Component" command and then try to use the resulting .swc file in a Flex  3.5 app, I get multiple instances of the following error:
    1046: Type was not found or was not a   compile-time constant: Matrix3D.
    1046: Type was not found or was not a   compile-time constant: Vector3D.
    Thanks in advance

    Are you using 3.5 targeted for 10 or 4.x?  If you moved to 4.x and are
    embedding fonts, you have to set embedAsCFF=false in the @fontFace

  • Failed to create an IDataAdapter object. This provider may not be fully supported with the Execute SQL Task

    I executed a simple query inside an execute SQL task -
    SELECT col1, col2
    from thetable
    where code = ?
    order by id asc
    Exec sql task - ADO.NET connection
    parameter "code" is an int32 in SSIS and int32 in parameter mapping of exec sql task.
    It works fine in SQL server, but in SSIS it causes the error -
    [Execute SQL Task] Error: Executing the query "SELECT col1, col2
    from thet..." failed with the following error: "Failed to create an IDataAdapter object. This provider may not be fully supported with the Execute SQL Task. Error message 'Incorrect syntax near '?'.'.". Possible failure reasons: Problems with
    the query, "ResultSet" property not set correctly, parameters not set correctly, or connection not established correctly.
    How do I fix this error ?

    Thanks. I think it was sqlclient. I changed it to OLEDB to avoid that issue. Btw, what is this "provider" ?
    Hi blastoSO,
    To check which provider is used by the current ADO.NET Connection Manager, you can open the “Configure ADO.NET Connection Manager” window, and check the “Managed Provider” option of each Data connection.
    In an Execute SQL Task, if the managed provider is “System.Data.SqlClient”, we should use the rule for the ADO.NET connection type in the following table. If the managed provider is “System.Data.Oledb” or “System.Data.Odbc”, it actually uses the OLE DB provider
    or ODBC provider, so we should use the rule for the OLE DB or OBC rule in the following table:

  • Failed to create recognisable class with token

    "Failed to create recognisable class with token <num>"
    I'm running a JNI app.

    Probably something that comes from the code of the application itself.

  • Fail to Create Product Recovery Media with x301

    I purchased an x301 recently with Vista home and fail to create a product recovery disk disk so far.
    By going into thinkvantage using "Create Product Recovery Media", shortly I was prompted to indicate a recordable disk drive,which in my case is an external D drive CD burner, then the "little red ball" started to run showing "extracting files please wait"; BUT it won't STOP even after an hour or so and it also did not display any error messages. In fact, the program never went into the next stage prompting me to insert a blank disk. When I tried to stop the program, it sort of hangup and I had to shut down my computer by hard-pressing the turnon button!  After several trial I gave up.
    Alternatively, when I doubleclick the Q drive to initiate "create product recovery media", the program indicates that it is not responding.
    Strangely, I have managed to perform "Create Recovery Media" successfully under Thinkvantage and burned a CD (note - not the Create Product Recovery Media).
    I have even gone the extent to do a Full Factory system restore which verifies that my Q drive is working very well!
    So, what could be the problem and I'd really want to create a set of product recovery disks!!
    Cheers.

    If you call lenovo up, i think they will send you a set of recovery media for free, given that you can't create it in the first place.

  • ORA-39083: Object type TRIGGER failed to create with error:

    i m getting these two error when i import data using impdp.
    ORA-39083: Object type TRIGGER failed to create with error:
    ORA-00942: table or view does not exist
    i have exported (expdp) data from production db, when i importing (impdp) the dump file to the test db i m geting the above two errors.
    example:
    ORA-39083: Object type TRIGGER failed to create with error:
    ORA-00942: table or view does not exist
    Failing sql is:
    CREATE TRIGGER "NEEDLE"."CC_BCK_TRG" BEFORE INSERT OR UPDATE
    ON NIIL.cc_bck_mgmt REFERENCING NEW AS NEW OLD AS OLD FOR EACH ROW
    DECLARE
    w_date DATE;
    w_user VARCHAR2(10);
    BEGIN
    SELECT USER,SYSDATE INTO w_user,w_date FROM DUAL;
    IF INSERTING THEN
    :NEW.cretuser :=w_user;
    :NEW.cretdate :=w_date;
    END IF;
    IF UPDATING THEN
    :NEW.modiuser :=w_user;
    :NEW.modidate :=w_date;
    END IF;
    END;
    status of the above trigger in pro db is valid. and source table also exist even though i m getting error when i import
    please suggest me...

    perhaps you don't have table... (impdp created trigger before create table)
    check about "NIIL.cc_bck_mgmt" table.
    and then create it (trigger) manual ;)
    Good Luck.
