<May 5, 2011 10:25:00 AM CST> <Error> <oracle.soa.b2b.transport> <BEA-000000> <AQDequeuer_ReadMessage: A database exception occurred: java.sql.SQLException: ORA-25226: dequeue failed, queue DEV_SOAINFRA.IP_OUT_QUEUE is not enabled for dequeue
Anybody can give some suggestions please?
Thanks for help.
Regards,
Katherine
After Rechecking the log of soa_server, the error disappears now:
"<Error> <oracle.soa.b2b.transport> <BEA-000000> <AQDequeuer_ReadMessage: A database exception occurred: java.sql.SQLException: ORA-25226: dequeue failed, queue DEV_SOAINFRA.IP_OUT_QUEUE is not enabled for dequeue"
However,
background server is still reporting: "<Warning> <oracle.integration.platform.blocks.event.saq> <SOA-31013> <Error handling message (rolling back).

Download to Excel after migration to 11g: Table lose formats
Hi,
after migration to 11g we make some test.
Download to excel is not working correct. Calculated column lose the rounding, Table with green line lose the format of the borders.
Is this a known issue?

I am using an imaging task sequence and getting a
0x80070005 error. IT seems that the SCCM client
doesn’t complete correctly and actions are missing from the client.
Below is the log information. I am not sure if a reboot is causing the issue?

Can't Create User after migration
I recently upgraded a PPC xserver running leopard to a new Power Mac running lion server. Everything seemd to go smoothly but after a more thorough look I am having issues. The main one being I cannot create users in the I go into the server.app and the + is greyed out. The only way I have been successful in adding users is through system preferences.
I am also having a trouble with my web server it appears as though even though the service is running I can't get any pages to load via a web browser.
Last issue I know of at this moment is I am una able to start the VPN service. Everyitme I click on the toggle it turns on then goes back to off.
Instead of doing a clean installation I migrated aftert reading that it would be my best bet.
Can anyone hlep me that may have had this or a simlar problem?The prof_attr file contains the comment:
Can perform most non-security administrative tasks
for System Admin.
In addition I don't see a corresponding entry in exec_attr and without that then you aren't going to be using that role to run any commands. You can try it in SMC to see if it works there but its doubtful.
You'll probably need to create a separate role and add the user to that role.
A grep of exec_attr shows that User_Management is probably what you're after.

TimeOutException - unable to create instance - after installing patch set.
Hi,
We have Oracle 9iAS 9.0.2 (Release 2) running on Windows 2000 Server.
We are running EJB's on the server, these include Entity and Session Beans.
Last week on 13-March 2003 (Thrusday) we installed a PatchSet downloaded from "metalink.oracle.com".
NAME: PatchSet 1 for Windows NT
After installation we faced the following problem :
1. Initial (first time) when an Entity Bean is called for a specific Primary Key, we are able to get the instance of the Bean.
2. However for subsequent request to the same Bean, it is unable to create or find an instance for the Bean, throwing the following error :
"TimeOutException" - "unable to create instance"
3. Though Step 1 and Step 2 are repeated on restarting OC4J_HOME.
We then uninstalled the Oracle 9iAS and reinstalled it without the PatchSet. On doing so, the above error did not occur.Badrul,
Try setting max-instances=0 for your EJB in the orion-ejb-jar.xml.

Server failed to join cluster after migration.
Hi
<p>
After migration of weblogic server (wls1) from machine A (fwls1) to B (fwls2), wls1 logged the following: <br>
<i>Failed to join cluster wlscluster at address 239.192.2.1 due to: <br> java.net.SocketException: Cannot assign
requested address.
java.net.SocketException: Cannot assign requested address. </i><br><br>
Wls2 is part of wlscluster and it is working, so I think that multicast address must be fine. Does anyone know what can be reason for that exception ?
<br>
<br>
Details:
<ol>
<li> Weblogic Server 9.2
<li> wls1 is running at the fwls1 machine; wls2 is running at the fwls2 machine; wls1 and wls2 belong to cluster wlscluster
<li> migrate wls1 to machine fwls2
<li> in fwls2:/opt/.../wls1/logs/server.log I got an exception
<li> fwls1 automatically stands up in fwls1
</ol>
Any help appreciated
</p>
regards
<br>Lukas<br>
<br>WLS 9.2hi
the cluster adress includes ur manged servers listing adress and port number example
10.192.11.12:6399 is managed1
10.192.11.12:6400 is managed2
then these servers under cluster the cluster adress is
10.192.11.12:6399,10.192.11.12:6400
multicast adress start from 237.0.0.0 if this used by some another user change this adress -
What happens to completed Instance in Oracle BPM 11g
Hi
I have the following question with respect to completed instances, I am using Oracle BPM 11g:
1)How long does the completed instance stay in the system by default, how do we configure this setting?
2)How do we archive the completed or unwanted instances
3)Which database does these instances information are stored.
Regards
VenkatHi Venkat,
The SOA Suite is responsible for storing all instances of BPM (active, suspended or terminated).
No more the concept of purging instances that were in version BEA Aqualogic 5x, 6x.
So the records of instances will be stored in the database "forever" until you make a DBA or a purge of data in the database.

Problem e-mailing reports after migrating to new Microsoft Exchange server
Hi,
I am now unable to e-mail (SMTP) reports to anyone in my company because we just migrated to a new Microsoft Exchange server. Anyone know how to get rid of this message?
Status: Failed
Printer: The instance is not printed.
External Destination: Mail the instance to "____________" with a subject of " %SI_NAME% %SI_STARTTIME% ".
Data Refresh Settings: Use the server defaults.
Start Time: 8/4/09 1:00:18 PM
End Time: 8/4/09 1:01:07 PM
Server Used: gmmc-crs.reportjobserver
Error Message: server error. SMTP_E_TCPSOCKET_OPEN(2): CrystalEnterprise.Smtp
We tried changing the gmmc-crs.reportjobserver with no luck.
Thanks,Hi,
You need to start with your exchange logs and possibly enable tracing on your BO webi/crystal/destination job servers (depending on the type of report and whether or not it is scheduled) to get an idea of how far down the line the SMTP connection is getting.
You could also confirm a few key things:
Have the SMTP destinations on your BO servers been updated with the new SMTP server info
Can you telnet to the mail server on port 25 from the BO server - if not, then check the firewall between the two servers and change the existing ruleset to allow connectivity to the new server
Possibly the old mail server didn't require authentication and the new server does, you could test this through telnet? -
Embedded font errors after migrating pdfs to new web server
Hi All,
After hundreds of working pdfs were moved to new web server, they produce variations of the "cannot extract the embedded font" (name of font) "some characters may not display or print correctly" error. The first page loads perfectly and the rest never load. All these files open fine when I open local copies in Reader (9.1.3) and Professional (7.1.0).They also open fine when moved to another server. When I delete copies on the server and re-upload using the working copies, the errors persist. Doesn't make sense. I also occasionally get the error "there were problems reading this document (14)".
I was told by the IT department that a possible cause was that the new server environment used fonts installed on the server rather than the local machine to display pdfs. This doesn't make sense to me. I've researched these errors and haven't found anything applicable or that has worked. Any suggestions? Has anyone else expeienced this?
The server is IIS and is running ASP.net. The IT dudes are saying they need to install all the refferenced fonts on the web server but due to the expense of this, they can't.This will nessecitate a really bizzarre and Rube Goldbergesque workaround (that I'm not even going to try to explain here) that I'd really like to avoid. Any suggestions? Are there any Acrobat settings that need to be twekaed?Hi,
I read the following on another discussion in this forum:
it appears that with the shortkey ctrl+shift+Y you can force the pc to work around the system fonts
Maybe that helps.

Hi,
I have migrated my EBS db from 10g to 11g.
After that to enable autoconfig, created context file using adbldxml.pl script.
Now while executing adconfig.sh, it is failing.
The log file showing
afmkinit.sh exiting with status 127
.end std out.

Assertion failure error after migration to 11g (11.1.1.5)
Hi All,
I am facing an issue here after we migrated from 10g to 11g (11.1.1.5). Few reports shows following error.
Error Codes: OAMP2OPY:ACIOA5LN
Assertion failure: isXsiTypeSqlExpression(rExpr) at line 67 of /scratch/aime1/adestore/views/aime1_dadvfa0112/bifndn/analytics_web/main/project/webreport/exprformulautils.cpp
Any workaround/fix for this error?
Regards,
RajeshHi Rajesh,
We had the exact same issue occur in 11.1.1.5 as well. Our problem was due to the fact that our report was referencing a saved filter, and in that saved filter, we had a line that was a SQL based filter just like Haris mentions in this thread. We could not get a saved filter with an SQL filter line to work (even creating it from scratch), so I believe this is an 11.1.1.5 bug.
We got around the problem by applying the contents of the saved filter, instead of the filter reference itself. Once we did that, the SQL filter line worked just fine.
Please let me know if this works for you.
Thanks,
Jeremy

How to migrate BPM 11g server to another BPM 11g server
Hi All,
There is no change on BPM version (BPMN Editor 11.1.1.3.0.6.84 )
just simply a physical migrate, changed application server, DB and server domain/IP
Now we met questions when migrate DB date, there are four schemas DEV_MDS、DEV_SOAINFRA、DEV_ORABAM、DEV_ORASDPM, cannot used including install config settings, could not be used any more, could not be started.
Is there any guide of how to migrate just user data please?
Thanks for any help!
Regards,
KatherineMigration of environment should really be done through backup tools that ensure a consistent point-in-time view of the data. We recently had a need to use import/export for an environment. I'll post those notes here hopefully save some time if you have to use this approach. But I'll emphasize again that a backup/restore model is the better way to go.
What we did
We took an environment that had a small set of BPM processes and exported the data from the three core schemas.
• PS2_MDS
• PS2_SOAINFRA
• PS2_ORASDPM
We then loaded that data into another domain, started the server, and interacted with the composites that had originally been deployed in another domain.
What we didn’t do
• Export complex composites. We didn’t have access to things like AIA applications
• Export large amounts of data
• Test a broad set of features. We did use Workspace to create roles, view dashboard, and interact with task lists.
What we learned
We believe this confirmed the basic assumption that data can be exported from one BPM/SOA environment, then loaded and run in another environment. However the issues around user privileges, starting queues, etc, highlight the need to test the process in a broader context.
Tools Used
Data Pump
Data Pump is an import/export tool provided by Oracle. A summary of features can be found at:
http://wiki.oracle.com/page/Data+Pump+Export+%28expdp%29+and+Data+Pump+Import%28impdp%29
SQL*Plus
Used to run scripts
Setup
Create Users
The data pump export will include privilege information in the export. And the data pump import will create users in the target database (assuming sufficient privileges for the user running the import). However we found that some roles related to AQ were not granted during the import. To resolve that issue we created scripts to pre-create the schema users and grant required privileges in the target environment.
TODO:
1. Review the required privileges to see if there are data pump options that would resolve this
2. Verify that there are no additional privileges needed by applications in the target integration environment.
Create Output Directory
Data Pump needs to have access to the file system from the database.
Make sure that the output directory is writable by the DB process.
From SQL*Plus:
create directory dbexport as '/scratch/ dbexport';
grant read,write on directory dbexport to system;
Export Data For Selected Schemas
The Data Pump tool supports providing a list of schemas to export as part of a single operation. In this test case we exported the following core BPM schemas to a single file. The commands are in the do_exp.sh script.
• PS2_MDS
• PS2_SOAINFRA
• PS2_ORASDPM
TODO:
1. Verify space required for the target database to ensure that there is sufficient space to export the data.
Import Data into Target Schemas
Data Pump supports mapping schema names and table spaces as part of the import specification. In this case we used the same Oracle instance, so the schemas were mapped to new names. The PS2 prefix was mapped to XYZ.
Note that the OID transform property is required to avoid conflicts with existing object Identifiers.
impdp system/welcome1 DIRECTORY=dbexport DUMPFILE=bpm.dmp transform=oid:n \
REMAP_TABLESPACE=PS2_MDS:XYZ_MDS \
REMAP_TABLESPACE=PS2_SOAINFRA:XYZ_SOAINFRA \
REMAP_TABLESPACE=PS2_IAS_ORASDPM:XYZ_IAS_ORASDPM \
REMAP_SCHEMA=PS2_MDS:XYZ_MDS \
REMAP_SCHEMA=PS2_SOAINFRA:XYZ_SOAINFRA \
REMAP_SCHEMA=PS2_ORASDPM:XYZ_ORASDPM \
TODO:
1. Check the log for errors. The only errors we saw were related to trying to build stats on empty indexes.
2. Identify any other schemas being used
3. Verify if any other transform operators are needed
Post Import
Start Queues
SOA infrastructure makes use of queues in the DB server. While the queue structures were created, they were not started as part of the import. The start_queues.sql script starts the queues.
TODO:
1. Verify if there are any other queues that need to be started/configured
2. Verify if there are any other Stream/Queuing configuration tasks needed
Update Data Sources on WLS
Assuming an existing installation of SOA, the datasources need to be updated to use the new schemas.
Start Domain and Verify Logs
It’s important to check the admin and managed server logs for errors related to composite instances and MDS operations.
Verify Composite State
Log into EM and ensure that the state of instances is consistent with the prior state.
Verify Application Roles and Role Mappings
Since the composites are loaded from MDS, there will be no deployment to create application roles. If the environment is using LDAP or DB, then the validation is to check the mappings through Workspace. If the old environment used a file store, then you’d have to crate the role mappings through Workspace.
Verify Workspace Operations on Existing Instances
Verify that task list operations and dashboards are functional.
