Failed to find an application descriptor -- loading DefaultApplication

Hi,
I was trying the XmlBean example shown in the thread
Serialization of Owned Collections with XmlBeans
and I am getting the following error message
Failed to find an application descriptor -- loading DefaultApplication

What is the missing item to make it run ?

Found the problem in Contact.xml it should look like this
