Failed to visit the page for StarLoan described in the QuickStart Tutorial
Hi,
I cannot visit the page of http://localhost:9700/StarLoanUI on 3-24 Oracle BPEL Process Manager Quick Start Guide (http://download.oracle.com/otndocs/products/bpel/quickstart.pdf). I guess it is related with domain configuration, but I have no clue about how to fix it.
The BPEL process manager is version 10.1.2 with the patches running on windows XP.
The error message in the BPEL PM server console is

OK, I got the answer. The problem is that the StarLoanUI home jsp deployed on the oc4j j2ee server of BPEL PM is not updated when the user changes the password for the default domain. So the locator cannot access the default domain with the initial password 'bpel'. I think this problem would exist for all the examples using the locator class. Maybe a better way to code the examples is to supply a password request interface where the locator is used. I am not sure if the develop team consider this in the next release of the samples.

This happens each and every time Firefox opens, whether there is a new update or not. I currently have these extensions disabled until I can resolve this issue.Open Firefox preferences/options. On the General tab you can specify what Firefox should do when it starts. I would guess that you have "Show my windows and tabs from last time" selected. Select "Show my home page" and set your home page in the text box.

The download button as described on the HELP page doesn't appear on the page listing my purchase.
The HELP instructions list that such a button must be clicked to down load an item.
I have made 3 purchases of the same song in an attempt to download it.
Only one of those purchases appears on the page that list purchases available to down load.
I wrote out a copy of the HELP page instructions (the page can't be printed) so I could accurately follow it as I tried to do the down load.

The iBooks page on my iPad2 has locked. I cannot move on the page. I can close the page, and everything else is working fine. THis happened in the middle of a download. Does any one have any ideas for unlocking, resetting, or somehow getting the iBooks page to work? Thank you.

I downloaded the new version of Mozilla and tried to install an add-on to allow me to set the home page for new tabs. The app says it has downloaded but does not open new tabs as my home page (google) - any suggestions what I can do?
I've been working on this all day!!! I've tried everything I know of and can't get it to load either. Sounds like lots of people are having problems. Here is what I have so far...I have uninstalled EVERYTHING on my pc from apple and reinstalled itunes to no avail. I have tried all sorts of things I've read as fixes online. NOTHING has worked. Here is something interesting that i have noticed though. my main pc (which is the one i have always managed my itunes account with for years) is a 32 bit system running windows 7. Yesterday I installed itunes for the first time on my new netbook which is a 64 bit (windows 7) system and it works just fine. i have three other laptops (all window 7) in my household that are all 64 bit operating systems and ALL have updated to 10.5 and THEY ALL work fine. this is FOUR 64 bit systems ALL updated w/10.5 that work and ONE that is a 32 bit that will not. Can't get any help from apple. their suppot *****! I want to get someone on the **** phone or a live chat but cant. *** APPLE????? please let mw know if you find SOMETHING i can try next. I'm out of ideas and patience!

How important is it to layer objects on the page for printing?
We are using InDesign CS3 on a Windows XP system and then sending to a RIP and then to an older Panther Pro 46 film printer.
We have lots of little problems, but one of the issues that happens occasionally, that we can't quite resolve is that for example...
When sending a job to the RIP 25 out of 26 pages will print fine (with all the separations and marks intact), but one of the pages, for some reason, is not properly printing the text or images (certain blocks of text print and certain ads or images drop out) and the marks are missing (registration, crop, color bars).
A friend told me that it is best practice to place images and text on separate layers. When we move objects onto different layers, sure enough, things start showing up. Unfortunately, this hasn't solved the problem completely. Sometimes, certain text would reappear while other things would disappear.
My guess is that we aren't moving the correct objects onto the right layers? Does it matter what goes on what layer? Does it matter which layer goes on top? Or is this all irrelevant?
Also, if anyone can point me to a good reference to press related resources. InDesign is new to us, especially on the PC, so I'm sure we could avoid many of our problems with some basic guidelines.

JoeI also have an old RIP system although not exactly as yours. I have a page limitation (which is ironically 26). Anything over that page amount gave us issues that sound very similar to yours - Now, I just limit the number of pages per file. We prefer to flatten the files (now that we know the issue) as the rip will drop its own color space onto anything that has transparency. You may not have the color critical clients we do, but that is one reason why we flatten - and also that color is most appreciated when printed with its own attributes from a native file.

Why is session time out error is coming while 15 files(Small files in KBs) is taking 15-20 sec to upload, what configuration required for this error. Take a look Timo Hahn

Hi,
I need to get the details for each user hit.
Apparently, this table has the IMPRESSIONS column which returns the total number of hitcounts and VISITS which counts the number of unique user who accesses the portal. What I am trying to look for is to get all the details per hitcount. I need to find out how many time a specific user accessed a specific page or iview.
I also used the table WCR_USERPAGEUSAGE, which I get the information of the users counted in the VISITS column in the first table.
I could not get the specific user per hit.
Please enlighten me if this is possible and how to do this?

Why not use the portal activity report iView?
In the portal activity report iView the 3rd option allows you to choose a page for example and see
the user who accessed it and how many times.
