Failure of Extract Process

I am trying to extract and the process fails. please help me this, following is part of "view ggsevt"

It's the actual value, since 7809 on localhost is mapped for the ssh tunnel, so I had to choose another for the local manager.
As for the login, yes, I can successfully connect via DBLOGIN trhough ggsci (DBLOGIN sourcedb [email protected]:3306, userid replicator, password [...]).

all configurations was ok and working fine (meaning data was extracted on source and replayed on target) before extract/replicat processes restart

So ask Functional Consultants and Business USers and Identify the corretc Date in ECC and then Change the Mapping In UPdate Rules in BW. i.e. What date USer is wanting and accordingly we nee dtgo change the mapping in UPdate Rules in Time Char Tab in UpdateRules.

Oracle SSO Failure - Unable to process request

Dear gurus,
i got problem when accessed ADF application which has registered with SSO, it says that
"Oracle SSO Failure - Unable to process request
Either the requested URL was not specified in terms of a fully-qualified host name or OHS single sign-on is incorrectly configured.
Please notify your administrator."
My environment is OAS Cluster front ended by LBR. so everytime i deploy the ADF application then i access it with LBR hostname which is http://oassvr.pelni.co.id, the host of each node it self are oassvr1 for node 1 and oassvr2 for node 2. the hostname that i added on partner applications was LBR hostname (oassvr.pelni.co.id:7777).
i had done ssoreg OAS 1013 with SSO succeed then i tried to run/access ADF application with url http://oassvr.pelni.co.id:7777/HRd/faces/DepartmentLOV.jspx then i got above error. Please help! these are the error log from http log midtier :

SRT: Unexpected failure in SOAP processing occurred - HTTP server instance

I am trying to invoke an ABAP server proxy. I can see the call route through XI. But then when it tries to invoke the ABAP server proxy, i get the following error - SRT: Unexpected failure in SOAP processing occurred: ("No configuration for this HTTP server instance"). It looks like this might be a configuration issue on the SAP ECC side but I am not sure what needs to be corrected. Here is the error is XI.

i face the same problem for the web service and after reading your thread i've check that the ECC XI web service is already active in SICF
is it possible the user id used for testing dont have authorization for testing or accessing the web service ?
if it is possible, do you know what kind authorization that i need to add to the user id ?

Unable to Start Extract Process

hi,
I am just start the extract process command & then i see the status. then the process is in STOP mode. i can't understand that why.
I have also check the ggerror file. in which i can the extract process is runnig.
but whn i run the command

Hi,
I think the WSDL file shared with you and the soap message you are getting are a mismatch.
Try to check the soap message xml format and see if matches the ouputs tags structure in WSDL file.

"Symbol extraction process failed" with iPhone 3G

In the Organizer, when I try to use an iPhone 3G for testing, I get the error message "Symbol extraction process failed", with no further information on what I can do to fix this.
I've tried...
   - Restarting XCode (I'm using XCode 4)
   - Restarting device
   - Resetting device (from itunes)
   - Restoring device (from itunes)
- Upgrading firmware (was 4.0, upgraded to 4.2.1)
- Restoring device (from organizer)
This device isn't broken or functioning incorrectly in any (other) way, and I really need to test my app on a 3G.... How can I fix this?

I haven't tried it with XCode3; downloading it now. I have an iPhone 4 with the same iOS version installed.
I'd like to use the 3G to test overall performance / framerates / screen resolution.

How can I stop the extracting process ?

How can I stop an extracting process it's taking hours and I can't wait much longer, the pause and cross symbols won't work. I think I tried to save it to the wrong place.

See if using the system task management is able to shut it down.

OGG-00868 SQL Server 2008 has problem with ODBC in the EXTRACT process

Hello Everyone
I want to replicate tables between MS SQLServer 2008 and Oracle 10g
I have Windows XP / MS SQLServer 2008 and Oracle Database 10g R 10.2.0.1.0 running on Red Hat Linux
I followed the steps from the white paper (http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/articles/datawarehouse/oracle-sqlserver-goldengate-460262.html)
and Installed Oracle Golden Gate Version 11.2.1.0.1 (for Linux) and the Version 11.2.1.0.1 32bits (for Windows XP)
I followed all steps of the white paper without problem and I could do the initial load in
the Oracle Database from SQL Server sucessfully.
But when I tried to set and start the Extract process from SQL SERVER
a error was generated in the file c:\gg\dirrpt\MSEXT.rpt and the process is ABENDING

Yes, I had created a Data Source HR Driver= SQL Server (second Tab System DSN) and I also had tried with
the driver SQL Server Native Client 10.0 but I faced the same error.
The database by default is EMP

ERROR OGG-00685 begin time : extract process abending

Hi Gurus,
I have installed Oracle Golden Gate in the below environment.But unable to start extract process I am newer to OGG and its production setup.
Primary site (source): This is production DB and up and running.
RAC 2 nodes
Oracle RAC 11.2.0.1.0
ASM
Oracle GoldenGate 11g Release 1 (11.1.1.0.0)
Enterprise Linux Server release 5.5 (Carthage)
Processor Type x64
OS 64 bit
target Site (destination):
Standalone single server - Non RAC
Oracle version 11.2.0.1.0
ASM
Oracle GoldenGate 11g Release 1 (11.1.1.0.0)

Error is as below:

Or explicitly specify a date time:
ggsci> alter urban begin 2012-08-13 12:00:00
I also noticed that this line:
table urbanlive.*
Is missing the closing semi colon. It should be:
table urbanlive.*;
Make sure you read on open transactions. This is important when you BEGIN capturing change data and performing your initial synchronization. If you don't understand this you will not initialize properly and you'll always be out of sync.

GoldenGate Extract Process will not read from redo log with manual help

Here is my issue.
I have GoldenGate replication successfully setup one-way from 1 Source to Many Targets. There is 1 source extract on the DB and many pumps that push the trail file data to the Targets. Replication does work but after manual help with starting up the Source Extract process.
If I execute the command:
GGSCI> alter extract <source extract name> begin now
GGSCI> view report <source extract name>
The extract starts and reads the source trail file but will not process data, I continually see in the ggserr.log file "OGG-01515: Positioning to begin time MMM DD, YYYY, HH:MM:SS" The date and time are irrevelant for this problem.
When I see this, I SQ*Plus into the database and look in the v$log table for the current log and sequence #.
I return to GGSCI and issue the following command:
GGSCI> alter extract <source extract name> thread 1 extseqno <sequence # from v$log query>
GGSCI> start <source extract name>
It then works as expected. Why is this so? I thought the alter extract <source extract name> begin now would do the same output.
We do use ASM but like I said when I issue the:
GGSCI> alter extract <source extract name> thread 1 extseqno <sequence # from v$log query>
It works like it should.

Yes, supplemental logging is enabled on both the source and the targets, but why would supplemental logging on the targets have any affect on why the Source Extract on the source can't read from the source redo log?
This is not a RAC database, rather single-instance with one thread. Also, we are using DBLOGREADER functionality as it is an 11.2.0.3 database.
My issue is simply, when I start the source extract from being down, meaning it isn't running, I issue this command:
alter <source extract> begin now
start <source extract>
view report <source extract>
OGG-01515 Positioning to begin time <today's date and time> ie Mar 4, 2013, 3:26:39 PM. (this is repeated over and over and over)
If I perform a
info <source extract> detail---> I see the following:
Log Read Checkpoint Oracle Redo Logs 2013-03-04 15:26:39 Thread 1, Seqno 0, RBA 0 (why is it showing 0, becuase it can't read the redo, WHY NOT?)
Extract Source BEGIN END
Not Available <today's date> <today's date> (repeat....)
However, if I retreive the Redo Log number and I issue:
alter spe thread 1 extseqno (redo log sequence #)
start spe.
Then it works okay. I have to manually tell it what redo log to begin reading from. Why?
