Fault handling - BPELFaultRecoveryContextImpl - how to get payload

Hi,
I have a custom java action for every fault in my composite. Once in the handler I need to access the payload, in case it's a mediator fault it's quite easy as MediatorRecoveryContext provides a public method to access its message. How can I do it in case it's a bpel error? I believe te payload is inside the scope, but it is proteted and no method to retrieve it. Thanks in advance

Came upon this link while searching - seems relevant..

  • How to get Payload of SOAP Message in Advance Adapter Engine

    HI All,
    I am wondering if anybody can tell me how to view the Payload of SOAP Sender and Receiver Message in Advance Adapter Engine?
    Does Anybody know how to check mapping payload in Advance Adapter Engine because in ABAP you can see the mapping payload under Request Message Mapping but when you use AAE you can't see the Request Message Mapping Payload.
    I have a SOAP to RFC Scenario in which I can't see the SOAP Sender and RFC Receiver Mapping Payload.
    When I am sending incorrect data to an RFC I am getting this error which is very strange and new to me.
    com.sap.engine.interfaces.messaging.api.exception.MessagingException: Unable to split a synchronous message
    Any comments would be much appreciated.
    Thanks,

    HI All,
    I have managed to find Michal's Blog which is talking about getting the mapping payload but unfortunately I don't know how to create Adapter Module so I am wondering if somebody can please provide me EAR file so that I will request the Basis guys to deploy the code and hopefully this will solve my query.
    Michal's Blog
    As you all probably know while using local Advanced Adapter Engine (AAE) processing in SAP PI 7.1 the message is logged only once (during processing by sender adapter). This is great in terms of performance but what if we need to check the mapping output? Is there a way do do it somehow? It turns out that we don't have such an option in standard yet. Is there any alternative then?
    It turns out there is - a simplest adapter module there is...
    Local AAE works in such a way that from the sender adapter it executes the receiver adapter so in the outbound message to PI processing you can see the adapter info logs of the receiver adapter and this is what we can use. The idea is to add an adapter module to the receiver adapter which will put the content of the message into the audit log of PI message processing. We can do it by writing a few lines of code:
    PI/XI: target message logging with local AAE not possible ? not anymore...

  • How to get BPELFault from MediatorRecoveryContext?

    Hi,
    In SOA Suite 11g I have implemented a custom FaultHandler (implements IFaultRecoveryJavaClass)
    In my composite I have a Mediator calling a BPEL process.
    The BPEL process throws a BPELFault.

    MediatorRecoveryContext.getFault does not seem to have the BPELFault.

    - there are no EJB3 scripts, only compiled application code
    - the part of the EJB spec that deals with databases is called the Java Persistence API, but likely you are just looking for the JDBC API.
    Now you should know what to Google to get your "example script": "java jdbc oracle procedure"

  • How to get hierarchy of a handling unit in delivery

    Hi All,
    We have a requirement of displaying in the form output highest level handling unit details(measurements length width and all).
    After that we want to display lower level handling units materials that has been packed.In the transaction Vl03n I can find this by just double clicking the parent Handling unit.
    To make simple how to get the hierarchy of handling units?
    If I know handling unit(say HU1) how to find there are some handling units(may be HU2,HU3) included in this handling unit HU1.
    I refered to the tables VEKP and VEPO it does not help me in this regard.Please suggest some body some idea on this.

    Hi,
    Have you look into field VEKP-UEVEL (Higher-Level Handling Unit)
    RF_SW_VEKP_READ                  Select from table VEKP - 1st layer
    VEKP_READ                        Select from table VEKP - 2nd layer

  • How to get the value of payload?

    Hi
    The null is returned when I use the following code to get the User_ID element in the payload, but there are values in the User_ID element of the payload
    Task task_test = wfSvcClient.getTaskQueryService().getTaskDetailsById(wfCtx, taskId);
    System.out.println("the payload value is " + task_test.getPayloadAsElement().getElementsByTagName("User_ID").item(0).getNodeValue());
    How to get the node value of payload ? any suggestion?
    Thanks
    Jayson

    Hi Jayson,
    Try:
    System.out.println("the payload value is " + task_test.getPayloadAsElement().getElementsByTagName("User_ID").item(0).getFirstChild().getNodeValue());
    So add the getFirstChild() call in between.
    If this works, maybe consider using JAXB to marshall the payload details to POJO's. This will make reading the payload details much easier.

  • How to get rejected file absolute path location in file rejection handler

    HI,
    Right now I am working in the below scenario in SOA11G.
    1) Create a file adapter service and wire it to a BPEL process.
    2) Create a Fault-policies file where we have referred a Java Action as a Fault policy.
    3) Refer that fault-policy to the Fault-Binding file and put both the file in the same directory with composite.xml file.
    4) So when any rejection message happened with any wrong incoming file, the Java Action is getting called.
    But as per my requirement I want to get the absolute path of the incoming file in my java action, so that I can write some other logic to copy that file to some other location.
    So is there any API available to achieve this or any logic about how to get the absolute path of a rejected file at runtime.
    Regards,
    Tripathy.

    Hi Omar,
    You need to use OPEN_DATASET & READ DATASET statements to get the file from application server.
    Steps:
    Open dataset in read mode
    Read the data set and collect into internal table
    Now, convert this into XSTRING by using function module SCMS_STRING_TO_XSTRING
    After converting into XSTRING, you can use CL_WD_RUNTIME_SERVICES=>ATTACH_FILE_TO_RESPONSE to download into local system
    Please refer the below links
    Upload File from SAP Application Server using ABAP
    Application Server Program - ABAP Development - SCN Wiki
    Hope this helps you.

  • UCCE 7.5 how to get BHCA and Average Call Handle time?

    Hi everybody,
    I'm trying to do an audit of the existing UCCE system.
    Can someone please tell me how to get the BHCA and Average Call Handle time for agent?
    I did a SQL query against the CallTypeHalfHour table for all the entering Call Type but I'm not sure that's the right BHCA.
    Thanks in advance,
    Best Regards,

    Hi again Geoff,
    Before closing this thread, I'm curious about your query against TCD for average handle time.
    Here's mine using Skill_Group_Half_Hour
    SELECT
        SUM(HandledCallsTalkTimeToHalf) AS TalkTime,
        SUM(IncomingCallsOnHoldTimeToHalf) AS HoldTime,
        SUM(CallsHandledToHalf) AS HandledCalls,
          AHT =
                CASE
                WHEN SUM(CallsHandledToHalf) > 0 THEN (SUM(HandledCallsTalkTimeToHalf) +SUM(IncomingCallsOnHoldTimeToHalf)) / SUM(CallsHandledToHalf)
                ELSE 0
                END
    FROM t_Skill_Group_Half_Hour
    WHERE DateTime between '02/01/11 00:00' and '02/28/11 23:30'
    Besides, can you please also tell me how to get the Average Waiting Time (time before get answered by an agent) ?
    Thank you in advance, Geoff,
    Best Regards,

  • How to get a handle of tcUtilityFactory within Java Task

    Hi
    I am trying to user op interface within a java task and want to avoid the GUI based coding in adapter factory
    I am having doubt about how to get a handle of tcUtilityFactory
    the standalone example of getting the handle works fine within a Java task
    // ConfigurationClient.ComplexSetting config = ConfigurationClient.getComplexSettingByPath("Discovery.CoreServer");
    // final Hashtable env = config.getAllSettings();
    // ioUtilityFactory = new tcUtilityFactory(env, "xelsysadm", "welcome1");
    but I want the handle to be provided by adapter runtime env
    there is a function call within generated adapter code
    APITaskLocal.getUtilityFactory(getDataBase());
    but I get null pointer if I try to use it within custom code
    has anyone played around with APITaskLocal.getUtilityFactory

    Hi,
    Use this code.
    public void init(tcDataProvider dataProvider) {
    try {
         usrOps = (tcUserOperationsIntf)tcUtilityFactory.getUtility(dataProvider, "Thor.API.Operations.tcUserOperationsIntf");
    } catch(Exception e) {
    log.error("Unable to initialize: "+e);
    You can pass dataProvider in adapter mapping . Map it to Adapter reference->Database reference.
    Hope this will help.

  • How to get the panel resource ID from a panel handle ?

    Hello,
    Is there a way to retrieve the constant panel ID of a panel that was loaded with LoadPanel ?
    I can always save this value in a variable when loading the panel, but I would have expected a better solution.
    Thanks

    Hi Vincentk,
    I also started with your idea of switch-casing the tests, but the fact is that it is more complex: a same specific-test panel can be used for different tests and there's a lot of different tests and configurations. Also, more tests may be added in the future, using the existing panels => I started to have complicated switch/cases and there was the risk of forgetting to add new test cases for future developpements => that's why I changed my idea to switch-casing the panel IDs instead of switch-casing the tests selected by the user: treatment is more simple and already done for all tests, even not yet existing tests.
    Hi Wolfgang,
    I know the IDs can change but this is not a pb as I'm casing with ID constant names and not values (ex. switch(panelID) {case PNL_A: break; case PNL_B: break;....}
    When the user click on a button on the child panel, the callback receives the panel handle, not the panel ID, that's my problem.
    Concrete example of my need:
    The users selects a valve to open (toggle button) on the child panel => as only one valve at a time can be selected, I need to switch off other valves (other toggle buttons) => in the callback I would like to have this simple code:
    CVICALLBACK SelectValve(int activeChildPanel, int activeControl, ...)
        int nValve, nCtrl;
        if (event == EVENT_COMMIT)
               for (nValve=0; nValve<g_NbOfValves; nValve++)
                     nCtrl = MyGetValveCtrl(panelID, nValve)              // Here is the pb: how to get panelID constant from activeChildPanel handle
                     if (nCtrl != activeControl) SetCtrlVal(activeChildPanel, activeControl, FALSE);
    and in another file, I have a simple function that can return all valves control IDs depending on panel IDs:
    int MyGetValveCtrl (int panelID, nValve)
        switch (panelID)
              case PNL_A:
                        switch (nValve)
                                   case TV1:   return PNL_A_TV1;
                                   case TV2:   return PNL_A_TV2;
              break;
              case PNL_B:
                        switch (nValve)
                                   case TV1:   return PNL_B_TV1;
                                   case TV2:   return PNL_B_TV2;
              break;
    But no matter, my question was: "is there a way to get panel ID from a panel handle". If there's no mean, I will store the panel ID in a global variable when loading the child panel.
    Thanks for comments.
