FB4: Just migrated to Windows 7 and apps won't run from HTML

I've got a new laptop with Windows 7 Pro 64-bit. I've installed FB4 and moved all my projects over to it. When I try to run an app from inside FB4 (using either Firefox or IE8), and it loads the HTML file, nothing happens. If I change the URL to point to the SWF file instead, hey presto it works.... I presume I need to change a security setting somewhere, but what and where?

I wonder--what would happen if you launched FB4 as an administrator? Right click on the icon and say "Run as administrator."
Does it publish the file correctly when running as administrator?

I found a solution on my own. I opened activity monitor and all the automator apps that I run daily were hanging up and the auromator launch was hanging up. I force quit them from the activity monitor. Now it works again.

I want to put what is on my iPod on my new MacBook, but certain pieces and apps won't download because my computer isn't authorized (so it will delete it from my iPod if I sync), but when it asks me to authorize it it uses an old Apple ID that doesn't exist anymore and to which I do not have access. Any ideas how to fix this? I just want to be able to sync my iPod with this computer without worrying about losing anything.

SL version 4. Reinstalled many times. Running Windows 7.
Not sure exactly what version I was running prior to 3.6.6.
Tried version 4 beta - didn't work. Found 3.5 and it works.
When I run, I get the white screen with the dots going around in a circle forever (Silverlight loading thing). I could send you a screen shot, but I really don't want to go back to 3.6.6.
I set a break point at the earliest possible place in my code and it never gets there.

moving my itunes music, movies, and apps to my Macbook from my windows computer??? I'm starting to have issues with my HP Pavilion, Windows 7, g6t-2000 Notebook PC 64-bit...... and I don't want to take any risk of losing my music and videos because a majority of is third-party (TRUSTED) and I don't want to lose them...... I need to move them to my MacBook, Mac OS X (10.7).

PSE 6 program and apps won't open.

PSE 6 program won't open from the start menu or Windows Explorer and the editor and organizer apps won't open from Windows Explorer. All the files are listed in WE and not empty. This happened recently after I have used the program a few years. Do I need to reinstall the program? If so, will the catalog have to be recreated? There are more than 7000 photos in the catalog. I am using Windows 7 Home Premium.

Try opening Orgnaizer and Editor from there respective exe's and from welcome screen which are at-
Organizer: C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Elements 6 Organizer\PhotoshopElementsOrganizer.exe
Editor: C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Photoshop Elements 6\PhotoshopElementsEditor.exe
Welcome screen: C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Photoshop Elements 6\Adobe Photoshop Elements 6
PS: Both paths are for 64 bit OS. For 32 bit OS use: C:\Program Files
If that doesn't help, try uninstalling and reinstalling PSE again. Your catalog will not be affected by uninstall/re-intall process.

I am so glad that I ran across your post. I had been reading "solutions" to this problem all day, and most of them said to install/unistall/re-install itunes! No way! I knew there had to be an easier way, and you had it. Just a few clicks, and that was it.

Windows 10 Apps won't launch

It seems like none of my Win10 Apps want to launch and load up. I hit the icon for the app and it appears to start but it closes itself around 1s after launching. Xbox, Mail and others won't start. They were working fine until I changed some settings in
the Mail and it went bad from there.
I know there was a Command I could use in shell to manually uninstall/install each app but I can't seem to find it.
Anyone have a solution?
P.S Launching from the Taskbar or the Start Menu doesn't work, and the Store (Beta) doesn't launch either.

posted about, as is clearly stated, is referring to old style Win32 apps

If this is a compatibility issue because you are using an older operating system then there isn't much you can do aside from updating your OS. Do you need DNG converter 6.7? You said that DNG converter 5.6 was working fine. You could reinstall it if it supports your camera.

Apps won't go from CPU to touch

This should really be plug and play.......unbeivable how un-user friendly this thing is. I have a 32gig touch that I purchased games for through the itunes store. the apps are on my CPU but will not transfer to the touch! I was told by apple support to update the version for $4.95, so I did, threw that $$ away with no help. I've tried to "deauthorize" and then re"authorize" my CPU, no help. I've tried to drag and drop from "Apps" to "my device" which doesn't work, it gives me a "No" symbol. So now my 7 year old keeps asking when he can play his games...........who knows son? Anyone have the secret decoder ring out there? thanks.

originally ive use a windows xp to set up the device & i was able to get apps both paid & free with no hassle and now all i want to do is to put new apps on my iTouch using a new pc (windows vista) which i've already authorized/de-authorized/authorized again with my iTunes store acct. though i was able to get new apps from the store on this new pc, for some reason it wont transfer on to my iTouch.

Java JDK 7 u17 won't install and Eclipse won't run past boot logo. Eclipse Classic used to work fine for awhile. I haven't used it for a month or two and tried to boot it, Eclipse won't run past boot logo. It looks like JDK is not even there anymore. JDK won't install successfully. I have Mac OS X 10.8.3.
I tried removing Java, re-download JDK multiple times.. same results.

Paul Adare is correct in saying that you cannot "upgrade" from 32-bit to 64-bit. You can, however, backup your files and reload them onto your PC.
Given that you are able to boot Windows 7 after the failure to install Windows 10 Technical Preview, it is apparent that you are not formatting the drive during your clean installation. There are a number of potential issues an existing configuration can
cause, such as preventing Windows Setup from registering boot files, modifying partitions, or moving an existing installation and data to the windows.old folder. I would recommend removing the partitions from your drive (note: this will erase any data remaining
on the hard disk) during installation to ensure that Windows Setup has a fresh hard drive to install to. If you continue to experience errors, two other factors to take into consideration are:
Does your system use a storage controller that requires loading a driver during Windows Setup?
Is the hardware malfunctioning? Do the hard disk and memory pass testing software like Windows Memory Diagnostic or chkdsk?

How do I turn off a game after playing it so the app won't run down the battery. This has happened 2x and I have had to reset my phone.

To completely close an app (though a lot of apps don't remain active when you switch into a different app or go to the homescreen) : from the home screen (i.e. not with the app that you want to close 'open' on-screen) double-click the home button to bring up the taskbar, then press and hold any of the apps on the taskbar for a couple of seconds or so until they start shaking, then press the '-' in the top left of the app to close it, and touch any part of the screen above the taskbar so as to stop the shaking and close the taskbar.
