Field "User responsible" in Maintenance Order.

Hello experts,
I am looking for the field "User Responsible" in a Plant Maintenance Order, but I can't find it!
If i go to table COAS and type in a PM order, the field name is "VERAA USER".
Where is this field when I am creating a PM Order?
Can this be manually populated or is it automatically populated by other means?
Thanks!
Gilberto Gallardo

Dear Gilberto Gallardo,
COAS is a Database View and not a table. It is based on table AUFK which is populated from transaction KO01                 Create Internal Order or from Easy Access Accounting -> Controlling -> Internal Orders -> master data -> Special functions -> order -> Create and other related transactions for controlling

Naveen.

  • Maintain User Status for Maintenance Order

    Hi,
    I want to maintain User Status along with System Status. For that i have created a user profile for Maintenance and can view and modifiy define user statuses on the Maintenance Order. I have define following three statuses.
    - Created
    - Released
    - Completed
    Initially "Created" status is set on the Maintenance Order but so far i am unable to configure system to automatically change the status into "Released" when the order released and change it to "Completed" when the order is tech completed.
    In short, how to link business transactions with the User defined statuses?
    Regards,
    Shah

    Hi,
    Thanks Dhavan, it was really helpful..
    My requirement was to have a report on Maintenance order in terms of only three statuses "Created" , "In progress" and "Completed" to have a Pie Chart view of maintenance orders. The problem i was facing was that System Status shows multiple statuses depending upon the sequence of the business transactions conducted on the maintenance order and ultimately it ends up creating serveral statuses depending upon the sequence of actions performed on the order. That is why i opted to go for User Defined Statuses. And i linked those statuses with my Business Transactions i.e. like whenever i Release the order it automatically sets my User Status to "In Progress" and now i can have the report as per my requirement.

  • How can I analyse user statuses a maintenance order had in the past?

    I want to make an analysis from maintenance orders backlog (orders over required end date). I use IW39 and analyse the user status to define the status of the order in the proces......
    In this way, however, I am only able to make an analysis of the data in SAP at this moment, so not in history. Is there a way to analyse the status of maintenance orders user status in the past (or the change of user statuses in the past)?
    Thanks!

    Thanks for your answers;
    I learned that the data for change status and related time can be found in the table JCDS (and for a single order via I near the order status); So if I can get the data from JCDS table I can learn the status of an order in history. By using (incidental analysis) excel I can look if an order is over its required end date in history to analyse the backlog.
    Right?
    Thanks.

  • User exit for maintenance order TECO

    Hi
    1. I want to restrict system not to do TECO of maintenance order until it is CNF
    2.During creation of notification user has to enter either functional location or equipment
    Can any one pl tell me the name of user exit? also how can I find out the name of relevant user exit in t-code smod or cmod?
    thnks in advance
    rgds
    rajib

    Hi Rajib,
    For your 1st question i would suggest you to use user statuses  to prevent order TECO unless the order status is CNF. For example you may create as follows:
    Status  Status   Desc                         lowest   highest
    no
    1         OSOO  Outstanding order              1      2        -
    Initial Status
    2         REL     released                              2      4
    3         PCNF   opn partial confirm              2      4
    4         CNF     opn confirm                         2      4
    For all Statuses (1 to 3) forbid the business transaction "TECO" and permit it for Status 4.In this way unless the status of order is "CNF" you will not be able to Complete the order.
    For the 2nd question you may check user exit IWOC0001/QQMA0014 and consult with an ABAPer to write a code to check your condition.

    hi karthick ,
    yes it cost center is picked from eqpt master record and it is use for creation of a default settlement rule in IW31 ... if u dont want that then just dont maintain cost center in eqpt master record and if ur requirement is to have default settlement rule for order type then user [ IWO10027 ] User exit: Generate user-defined settlement rule ...

  • Field Exit or User Exit for Maintenance Order field.

    Dear All,
    we need an field exit or an user exit for order(AUFNR)field in PM module.
    The Client wants that the value of this field should be validated and for certaion condition an error message should be given while saving an invoice for this order.
    Kindly provide the user exit ..
    Its urgent.
    Thansk in advance ..
    regards
    Ajay.

    Implement Field Exit within program
    For this example I am using dta element 'EBELN' from table EKKO.
    Step 1: Execute program 'RSMODPRF', entering the data element of the field
    Step 2:Create function module when prompted, and add you code to the source section using the parameter 'INPUT' as the field value you are checking
    Step 3:      Save and activate Function and execute transaction 'CMOD'.
    Step 4:      Choose option: Goto-> Text Enhancements->Data elements->New DE cust docu.
    Step 3:      Save and activate Function and execute transaction 'CMOD'.
    Step 4:      Choose option: Goto-> Text Enhancements->Data elements->New DE cust docu.
    Step 5:      Enter data element
    Step 6:      Save and activate
    Step 7: Execute program 'RSMODPRF' again but this time leave data element field blank. Step 8: Select the checkbox for the data element you have just created and choose option: Field exit->Activate This will now be active for all instances of this data element, but you can assign specific program and screen combinations by pressing the 'Assign prog./screen' button. You can also change the code you entered in the field exit function module by pressing the 'Edit FM' button.

  • Option 'Maintenance Order' missing in 'Allowed Object Types' tab in IMG of User status Profiles

    Dear All
    I have created a User Profile using T-Code OIBS.
    Now I want to assign that User Profile to Maintenance Order. But in the 'Allowed Object Types' tab, the option "Maintenance Order" is missing due to which I am unable to assign it to Maintenance Order.
    Could anyone tell how to add the option "Maintenance Order" in 'Object Types'.
    Thanks in advance.
    BK

    Hi Peter
    Thanks for your help.
    I just found that in t-code BS13, the object categories ORI and ORH exist but 'No Status Profile' check is marked against them. That is the reason why the system is not showing the 'Maintenance Order' as an option in Allowed Object Types.
    Thanks a lot !

  • Technical completion of Maintenance Order Dates or Reference Dates Settting

    Hi,
    My client has two requirements
    1- In standard, system allows us to take technical completion on previous date, how should I restrict / stop this completion in past? Could I set technical completion possible after atleast 1 month?
    2- Can I stop technical completion before goods movement or set error message while technical completion before goods movements?
    Regards,
    Edited by: PROCESSES EXPERT on Aug 31, 2010 11:01 AM

    For both of the above requirement you can use the user exit IWO10004 Maintenance order: Customer check for order completion
    You have develop a logic on what basis you have to reject the TECO of the order, please consult your ABAPer and discuss with him for more clarification on this.

  • Maintenance Order TECO date must not be befor the Permit Issue Date

    Hi Friends,
    I have a genuine requirement like " Maintenance Order TECO date must not be befor the Permit Issue Date ".
    The requirement is System shall issue a message if TECO date is before the Permit issue date.
    Guys pls help me onthis.
    Thanks & Regards,
    krishna

    Krishna,
    What you can do is use a User Exit: IWO10004 Maintenance order: Customer check for order completionand check that the reference date of completion, also you would need the approval date for the assigned permits in Order by using the table "IHSG" or a relevant function module to get the details of the Permit approval date. After you have the permit approval date, you can compare it with the reference date of  completion and if mismatched then generate the relevant error message.

  • Wrong user ID appearing in entered by field of planned Maintenance Orders

    Hi,
    Only few planned orders those are generating from maintenance plan (Having order types PM02  and PM05 for QM Inspection plan), Instead of user ID system is being taken a code in entered by field as {IP1020100416 It looks like the combination of IP10 scheduling T-code of Maintenance plan and 020100416 = 16042010 is the created on date of Maintenance order}
    Please advise, what should I do to bring user ID instead of above shown code?

    This is the Batch input : Group name (contains the session name). It is not specific to any user. This is helpful in listing down all the maintenance call objects that the system generated during deadline monitoring.
    In the field Entered by, enter the group name that the system proposes on the initial screen of the date monitoring session.
    IP1019950101 --> All maintenance orders from January 1, 1995
    IP10199501 --> All maintenance orders in January 1995
    This is helpful when background scheduling is activated for Maintenance Plan.
    To View which User was responsible for the Scheduling of the maintenance Plans, View the Transaction IBIPA, give the user name it would list all of the Sessions run by this user and the Group Names for the correponding sessions.

  • Internal Order report on User Responsible field

    Hi Gurus,
    Is it possible to report internal orders on "User Resposible" field (this field appears in internal order master data) with standard reports?
    I couldn't find a way to add this field as a select criteria.
    Thanks very much in advance.
    Catherine

    Hi Catherine,
    In KOK5 transaction (Master Data List for Orders), you can create a selection variant (with a chosen name of yourself) and define the User Responsible there.
    Let me know if this tip helps you.
    Kind Regards,
    Daniel

  • Sort field in maintenance order

    Hello;
    I want to make sort field in maintenance order as a mandatory field. But if I make it as a mandatory field, system still allows me to save the order as long as I have not clicked 'Location' tab. So there is no positive control over this field. May I know, how do I achieve this? I have even tried to put order type as the influencing field but it does not help.
    Points assured.
    Regards
    Hemant

    Hello Hemant,
    access to the SAP service marketplace via www.service.sap.com to create an OSS message. Choose link "product errors". Therefore you need an OSS user and you have to be authorized to create OSS messages.
    To create an user-exit, you have to go to transaction CMOD. There you have to create a project and assign the enhancement you want to use (I'm not really sure, but I think IWO10009 is the correct one in your case - you can search the user-exits via transaction SMOD - search for IWO*).
    After this you have to implement your coding and then you have to activate the project.
    The implementation of the user-exit should be done by an ABAP developer.
    By the way - I've had a look at the OSS. There's note 768576.
    Reason and Prerequisites
    The problem is caused by a missing function.
    Influences set via field selection will only become effective if a screen with the corresponding fields is processed. You must also refer to the documentation defined in the corresponding Customizing area. For the location & account assignment data, no additional check is (such as with the general order header data) is realised during the saving.
    Prerequisite
    Via field selection you declared fields of the location & account assignment data as mandatory field, and no screen that contains these fields was passed.
    Solution
    By means of the example code, you must implement a corresponding mandatory field check via customer enhancement IWO10009 at the time of the order backup.
    1. Create subroutine Z_IWO10009_GET_DATA_FOR_FAW in program SAPMILA0. It would be best if you create an own include ZMILA0F1 for this so that you will not have any unnecessary expenditure for future Support Packages (via Transaction SE80).
    FORM Z_IWO10009_GET_DATA_FOR_FAW.
      CALL FUNCTION 'CO_IH_GET_HEADER'
           IMPORTING
                     CAUFVD_IMP = CAUFVD.
      CALL FUNCTION 'CO_IH_GET_ILOA'
           EXPORTING
                     CAUFVD_IMP = CAUFVD
           IMPORTING
                    ILOA_WA    = ILOA.
    ENDFORM.                    "Z_IWO10009_GET_DATA_FOR_FAW
    2. Create the following source code in customer enhancement IWO10009:
    STATICS: XTFAWF LIKE TFAWF OCCURS 0 WITH HEADER LINE.
    tables:  tfawf.
    DATA: wa_screen    LIKE screen.
    FIELD-SYMBOLS:  'A'.
      perform Z_IWO10009_GET_DATA_FOR_FAW(SAPMILA0).
      if xtfawf[] is initial.
        SELECT * FROM TFAWF INTO TABLE XTFAWF
                 WHERE PROG = 'SAPMILA0'.
      endif.
      LOOP AT XTFAWF WHERE CUST_M = 'X'.
        CALL FUNCTION 'FIELD_SELECTION_INFLUENCE'
             EXPORTING
                  dynprogruppe = '7   '
                  mode        = 'C'
                  modulpool    = 'SAPMILA0'
                  fieldname    =  XTFAWF-MFELD
             IMPORTING
                  input        = wa_screen-input
                  output      = wa_screen-output
                  active      = wa_screen-active
                  required    = wa_screen-required
                  intensified  = wa_screen-intensified
                  invisible    = wa_screen-invisible
             EXCEPTIONS
                  OTHERS      = 1.
        if wa_screen-required = 1.
          clear lv_mfeld.
          lv_mfeld = 'CAUFVD_IMP-'.
          case XTFAWF-MFELD.
            when 'ILOA-AUFNR'.
              lv_mfeld+11 = 'IAUFNR'.
            when 'ILOA-KOKRS'.
              lv_mfeld+11 = 'IKOKRS'.
            when 'ILOA-BUKRS'.
              lv_mfeld+11 = 'IBUKRS'.
            when 'ILOA-GSBER'.
              lv_mfeld+11 = 'IGSBER'.
            when 'RILA0-ARBPL'.
              lv_mfeld11 = xtfawf-mfeld6.
            when others.
              lv_mfeld11 = xtfawf-mfeld5.
          endcase.
          ASSIGN (lv_mfeld) TO  IS INITIAL.
            Message E461(IW)
            with 'Mussfelder der Standort&Kontierungsdaten füllen'.
            EXIT.
          ENDIF.
        endif.
      endloop.
    endif.
    3. Activate the changes
    Correspondingly you can implement this solution also for the order release, for example, via customer enhancement IWO10002.
    Bear in mind that this is a source code proposal. It might be useful or necessary to adjust this source code to special applications.
    Best regards
    Stephan
