Filtering debug output from CUBE

Hi all
I'm trying to filter the output of the debug command "debug ccsip messages"
This is my reference
http://docwiki.cisco.com/wiki/Cisco_IOS_Voice_Troubleshooting_and_Monitoring_--_SIP_Debug_Output_Filtering_Support
This is what I've done:
---snip--
TR-47-0005.NEV#sh call filter match-list 1
  outgoing called-number XXXXXXXX
debug condition match-list is set to EXACT_MATCH
TR-47-0005.NEV#term mon
TR-47-0005.NEV#sh debugging
CCSIP SPI: SIP Call Message tracing is enabled  (filter is ON)
TR-47-0005.NEV#
--snip--
It still gives me full debug output. Weather I go for "incoming called-number", "incoming calling-number", "outgoing called-number", "outgoing calling-number" or if I set the debug condition to "partial_match".
Why is that?
CUBE: 3945G
IOS: c3900-universalk9-mz.SPA.152-4.M1.bin
/Tony

I have same problem, but only explanation I can find for this behavior is this:
"Some debug output generated during a call may not have GUID information. These debugs, represented by /xxxxxxxxxxxx/ characters in the debug header, are not filtered and always appear."
From my output there are lot of calls that have no GUID, even some calls that have GUID but NOT match condition appears in debug... Some people reported that they managed to work with diferent IOS, but for me it never worked on 3-4 versions of firmware.
For me, best alternative for filtering is to use http://translatorx.cisco.com/

  • How to turn of debug output from the jdriver for Oracle

We are running our builds with Ant and doing unit-tests with junit/cactus.
The Weblogic jDriver produces what appears to be debug info on standard out which
in turn is captured by junit in xml files reporting errors etc. The problem is that
the WebLogic driver ( WL6.1 SP2) sometimes produces binary 0's ( see below) ending
up in the result xml files, and that Ant's result xml parser cannot handle - (nor
    should it ).
This is probably a bug in the c-code for the jdriver , the oci dll ?
Would much appreciate how to turn off the debug(?) logging that the jDriver does:

    Executing: select length(SYSDATE) from dual
Parsing: select VALUE from V$NLS_PARAMETERS where PARAMETER='NLS_NUMERIC_CHARACTERS'
Executing: select VALUE from V$NLS_PARAMETERS where PARAMETER='NLS_NUMERIC_CHARACTERS'

    Hi Gunnar,
I'd check your code for appearances of "DriverManager.setLogWriter" that set
log writer to System.out. This is the way to get driver's debug output
    to standard out.

  • How to do selectable filtering of output from table-function

Hi - I have been looking carefully but can't see the answer to my question in the forums so I have had to resort to asking!  Apologies if this is covered elsewhere - my newbie state indicates I am fumbling in the dark here!
I have a report which comes from a table-function.  This produces hundreds of lines of output which the user would like to be able to select and then export just the subset of lines.
Looking at the Forum's (this article and this one) this seems possible if you are working with a table where you can re-query the original dataset with just a specific rowset required however as the table-function is generating output on the fly it is hard to rerun the query to reselect the same output for redisplay.  Also most of the reports are working with interactive reports - whilst this is just static output.
Is there a way to redisplay the information which has already been shown in an filtered way with check boxes?
Is there then a way to have hidden fields which are not shown when the check boxes are selected but which can be shown in the "filtered" view?
I am using Apex 4.0 at the moment on an Oracle 10g instance.
Many thanks in advance for any assistance.
    Malcolm

I got a soluce with no swap.
    I created a new column (E)
In E2, the formula is :
    =B&IF(ISBLANK(A),"",MONTH(A))
    Apply Fill Down
In table of each company, I inserted a 2nd header row so that I may store the name of the company in A1.
In A3, the formula is :
    =IFERROR(OFFSET(Tableau 1 :: $A$1,MATCH($A$1&ROW()-2,Tableau 1 :: $E,0)-1,0),"")
in B3, the formula is :
    =IFERROR(OFFSET(Tableau 1 :: $D$1,MATCH($A$1&ROW()-2,Tableau 1 :: $E,0)-1,0),"")
    Select A3:B3 then Fill Down.
    That's all folks !

  • Weird output from cube

    Hello Friend,
I am facing really interesting situation, let me explain.there are two queries below give me different result, but should have been same.
    I have attribute relationship like
    Store Key - Deposite Description
For the store Dimension key attribute is Store Key,so quantity should be calculated in store key level.so think Deposite desc u625 has a key value which is 1588 as store key.why these two queries give me different result
    select {[Measures].[Total Quantity]} on 0,
    [Store].[Store Type - Store Desc].[Deposite Description].&[U625] on 1
    from [Retail BI DW]
    where ([DateDim].[Calendar - Weekly].[Date].&[20130808])
    select {[Measures].[Total Quantity]} on 0,
    [Store].[Store Key].&[1588] on 1
    from [Retail BI DW]
    where ([DateDim].[Calendar - Weekly].[Date].&[20130808])

The relationship between Store Key and Deposite Description will be many to one. So it's possible that there is more than one key value that links to a give Deposite value. The following query would show you if this is the case:
    select {[Measures].[Total Quantity]} on 0,
    {[Store].[Store Type - Store Desc].[Deposite Description].&[U625] }
    *[Store].[Store Key].[Store Key].members
    on 1
    from [Retail BI DW]
    where ([DateDim].[Calendar - Weekly].[Date].&[20130808])

  • Problem sending debug output to a syslog server

    Hi,
i am having a problem when a tried to send the output from a debug command to my syslog server with the logging debug-trace command.
I already have a syslog server getting all the notification level logs from my ASA cluster.
When i enter the command debug fover fail, i can see on the terminal session all theoputput m,essgaes from that commnad, but when i type debug-trace, the debug messages disappear from monitor and they aren´t redirect to my syslog server. I analyze the traffic arriving to my syslog server with tcpdump, and the messages from the debug command are not being send to the syslog server.
I should say i also have a netflow collector active.
I attached the sh run logging output, maybe it can help:
    logging enable
    logging timestamp
    logging standby
    logging buffer-size 8096
    logging monitor errors
    logging buffered warnings
    logging trap notifications
    logging asdm errors
    logging mail alerts
    logging from-address xxxxxxx
    logging recipient-address xxxxxxx level alerts
    logging facility 16
    logging host ADAM-MANAG 192.168.50.8
    logging debug-trace
    logging permit-hostdown
Could someone help me with this?
    Thanks in advance

    Hi Gurpreet,
thank you very much for your reply.
When i enter the command logging trap debugging and logging debug-trace , I can see in my syslog server messages with  the tag 711001 coming from the debug fover fail command, but I also get a bunch of other information i don´t want (all the debug level messages).
As far as I know, the debug-trace command redirect just the debug output from commands that you specifically enter in order to trace and debug a problem, but this is not the case, in order to make this work i have to enable the debugging trap level.
Is it something I am doing wrong , or I misunderstand?

  • How to output debug text from script?

How do you output some debugging text from a script? I'm looking for the equivalent of <c:out> from JSTL. I would like to be able to output the value of a "#{variable}". Thanks.

Isn't h:outputText sufficient? Furthermore, if you're using JSF 1.2 / JSTL 1.2 with unified EL, then c:out will also work for "JSF EL".

  • Trying to understand what are the parameter/output From debug SNMP timers

    Hi All
I am trying to understand what are the parameter/output
    From the debug SNMP timers
    Output SNMP timers :
*Dec 31 11:56:27: SNMP: HC Timer 632DDE28 fired
    *Dec 31 11:56:27: SNMP: HC Timer 632DDE28 rearmed, delay = 5000
*Dec 31 11:56:32: SNMP: HC Timer 632DDE28 fired
    *Dec 31 11:56:32: SNMP: HC Timer 632DDE28 rearmed, delay = 5000
*Dec 31 11:56:37: SNMP: HC Timer 632DDE28 fired
    *Dec 31 11:56:37: SNMP: HC Timer 632DDE28 rearmed, delay = 5000
*Dec 31 11:56:38: SNMP: HC Timer 70B54A70 fired
    *Dec 31 11:56:38: SNMP: HC Timer 70B54A70 rearmed, delay = 20000
    70B54A70 , 632DDE28 „² what this number means.
5000 , 20000 „² why I have different delay time ( does it means that I have delay for SNMP request )

The debug messages you are seeing are related to High-Capacity (HC) timers, which manage updates to 64-bit (HC) snmp counters as defined in RFC2233.
The "fired" and "rearmed" messages indicate when each of these timers
updates ("fired") the HC snmp counters, and when they should fire next
(the "rearmed" messages). Higher speed interfaces require updates more often than lower speed interfaces, so you see two examples of that in your debug messages - 5000 ms updates vs 20000 ms update.
The numbers that are in the messages (i.e. 632DDE28 ) are internal references to the timer that has fired.
These messages do not indicate any delay in SNMP message processing, but normal SNMP operation of HC counters.

  • Debugging output not appearing

I recently absorbed the task of supporting our CF MX 6.1
server. We have an app that we need to debug - the developer asked
us to add her IP address to the "Debugging IP Addresses" list. I
turned on debugging and added her IP address to the list, but
debugging output is not displaying; this is true even when you run
the CF app on the server running CF. The steps I took are as
    follows:
    - In CF Administrator, checked Enable Robust Exception
Information and Enable Debugging. Submitted changes and got msg
    Server has been updated successfully.
    - Added developer's IP address to the list of debugging IP
addresses. She couldn't see the debug output. Neither could I.
    - Restarted CF server. No change.
    - Rebooted server box. No change.
    - Tried removing all IP addresses from list. Debugging input
    then shows for everyone.
One thing of note regarding the setup of the server is that
IE has "Internet Explorer Enhanced Security Configuration" enabled
    - don't know if this would have any impact. I'd also tried adding
the local IP address of my machine (I'm on the same LAN as the
server), and I got no debug info on my machine. Our whole LAN,
including the CF Server's box, is behind an ISA server, but of
course that wouldn't have any impact on the local server, and I
don't *think* it would affect machines on the LAN, but I'm not
    certain of this.
Showing the debug info to everyone is not an option, so we
need to get the IP address filtering working. I've looked at the
Windows event logs, the CF logs, and these forums, and can't find
    any helpful info.
    Server config:
Windows Server 2003 (Standard Ed.) SP1
    ColdFusion MX 6.1 (6,1,0,63958) Standard
Any suggestions would be very much appreciated.

I figured out the problem - it turns out that even our LAN
traffic goes through our ISA server, and the ISA server passes its
IP address to IIS, so CFMX is seeing all traffic as coming from the
same IP address - the LAN address of the ISA server. Adding that
turned it on for everyone, so it seems that the solution lies in
changing the config of the ISA server to pass through IP addresses.
See post by "Smiley Dave" titled "Debug IP Addresses" for a little
more info, though there's no info in that thread that he ever
    actually got it working.

  • Webi report: Issue Cannot retrieve dimensions from Cube

Hello Experts,  We're facing an issue with a partical set of Webi reports in Quality environment. The reports are BW reports based on OLAP BICS connectivity on top of Bex queries.y  Below is the scenario and the issue:  1. The backed Bex queries have been trasported to Quality BW system and they're running fine when run from RSRT or Bex analyzer. 2.The Webi reports along with the BICS connections have been migrated to the Quality box and the BICS connections have been editied so that they point to the Quality BOX bex queries and they're testing and responding to the connection successfully. 3. The Webi reports pointed to the Dev Box in the Dev BOBJ system are working fine, but when the same reports for which the connections were repointed in Quality as above, are giving the error "Cannot Retrieve Dimensions from Cube".  Steps taken: a. Deleted the reports and the BICS connection from Quality environment and remigrated the reports, connecitons and changed the connecitons but still the issue persists. b.Tried finding the root cause and got the following issue in the Bex query in Quality: There are filters put in the Bex query . All other filters are working fine except 0CALMONTH. We tried putting all sorts of variables on 0CALMONTH, but the moment a variable is put on 0CALMONTH, this issue occurs. But when we tried removing the variable from 0CALMONTH in filters and restricted it to a single value, the Report works fine.  However the same is not an issue in the Dev Box and all queries with similar variables are working fine.  So we're thinking this might be an issue on the BW backend and the cube might have to be transported again to the Quality Box.  ANy quick suggestions or inputs on this would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks and regards, Abhishek

    Hi Abhishek,
I am facing same issue.Have you resolve this issue?

  • Retrieve Filtered ALV output into Internal Table in Program

    Guys,
I want to update my internal table with the filtered output that the user has selected in the output.
Lets say my internal table had 6 entries which was outputted.
Now the the user filters that output ( say where material is initial ) so that there are only 2 entries left on the output.
How can i know which 2 entries are left on the output screen ?
( i need to know as i am deleting entries from a table )
I came across this slis_filter_alv0 but could not use it in my user exit command routine.
Any ideas would be very helpful.
    Cheers.....

    Try the method get_filtered_entries
This method teturns a table with all indexes that are currently hidden on the screen using the standard "filter" function.
    CALL METHOD
    <ref.var. to CL_GUI_ALV_GRID>->get_filtered_entries
       IMPORTING
          ET_FILTERED_ENTRIES  = <int tbl of type LVC_T_FIDX >.
Then by using this internal table you can find out the entries which are shown in the output.
    Hope this helps.
    Thanks,
    Balaji

yes, that is correct that it crashes with the new code when i have both made it a separate library function node and when i incorporated it into an existing code.  the odd thing is that it actually seems to work now.  i believe that i was using the wrong environment to call the new codes, which is why whenever i tried to revert to the original code previously, it still crashed.  it seems that in order to be called, i need to use Deployment rather than Development and ppc instead of i386 in the active configuration and architecture in Xcode, respectively.  while playing around with the iphone app, it must have reset my defaults to a non-labview friendly form.  so now that i've got that part of the code working, i need to find out why it's still crashing on me.  at first, i thought it must be the random number generator, but testing that separately in the code works just fine, so there must be something internal in the code.  probably a memory allocation fault.  but now that i can actually get everything running once more, i should be able to sort that issue out myself.
thank you very much for the help.  sorry i didn't actually have anything to fix, unfortunately.  i'm going to spend some time trying to debug this section of code to find where the fault lays.  i may come back if i cannot find it in there, but hopefully it will not come to that.
    take care and many thanks,
    justin

  • Multiple Input and Output from a 6534

    Hello
I am after some advice regarding my PCI 6543 digital I/O card and the best way to achieve my desired results. I am programming in Visual C++ with Ni-DAQ 7.
I want to generate a pattern output from one of the ports, Port A, following a software command. This pattern consists of a 10uS pulse on DIOA0, that repeats 200 times with a period of 100uS. I want this DIOA0 output line to initiate an input on ports C and D, possibly through the REQ pin. Consequently the input should acquire 200 times for each call to the pattern output.
I want this to repeat, so the pattern output goes again (as in a FOR loop), and the input occurs again for an as yet undetermined number of times.
I have managed to get something worki
ng for 1 iteration, and I can generate multiple pattern outputs, but the inputs only seem to acquire for the 1st iteration. However, if I step through the code in debug mode I can get the input to work correctly.
Any ideas would be gratefully appreciated.
I am still trying to get some earlier problems with this application solved.
    Kind Regards
    Jamie

    Hi Jamie,
There are a couple different ways you can loop from a buffer. You can either use the onboard memory of the 6534 and loop from there or you can specify as a software configuration that the board loop through the PC memory buffer.
For the onboard looping you need to specify the following:
    iStatus = Set_DAQ_Device_Info (1, ND_PATTERN_GENERATION_LOOP_ENABLE, ND_ON);
For software, PC memory looping, the following function specifies this:
    iStatus = DIG_DB_Config (iDevice, iGroup, 1, 0, 1);
I attached a couple programs that might be of use. Check this post:
    http://exchange.ni.com/servlet/ProcessRequest?RHIVEID=101&RPAGEID=135&HOID=5065000000080000008BA10000&USEARCHCONTEXT_CATEGORY_0=_31_%24_12_&USEARCHCONTEXT_CATEGORY_S=0&UCATEGORY_0=_31_%24_1

Hope that helps. Have a good day.

Hence, to find out more I set the debug option on cube.ws and tried another transaction with the same information.. This time, the callbacks went through fine. I am seeing this behaviour rather consistently. Setting the debug option, enables the transaction to callback successfully, but when I go back to info option, the callbacks do not happen, most of the time.
Am I doing anything wrong..Can anyone clarify, please..
    Thanks and Regards,
    Vijay.

Hi Clemens, Here is the thread dump.. It took sometime for me to take it as I had to physically access the machine to put a Ctrl+Break..
Is there a place where this dump will be logged.. I had to take this directly from the command window and hence may not have the full information.. When I looked into the domains.log file, I could not find this dump available there:

  • Problem with downloading data from cube into flatfile

    Hi,
I am writing a program to download data from cube into flatfile .The program will be run in the background with user has given his selection in a table.the program works fine .The current problem which i am facing is the character length.e.g. Material is 18 ..but in my dynamic internal table it store the value of material with length of 10 character.
So i am not able to see the output material in correct format.Anybody knows how to change this format.
    thanks in advance
    Yogesh Mali

    Hi Yogesh,
Theorethically, you can setup the material code length in TX OMSL, which uses the TMCNV table.
Why don't you change the structure of your internal table changing material fiela length from 10 to 18?
    Best regards,
    Eugene
