I just installed Firefox 5. Unfortunately, F-Secure's "Application Control" now repeatedly pops up "Changed Application" messages in an endless string. It will not accept my attempts to "Allow" the new version of Firefox. Since Firefox 5 is not compatible with F-Secure, I must return to my previous version of Firefox. I am very disappointed that you have put me to all this trouble. How do I delete Firefox 5 and return to the previous version of Firefox?

My version of firefox has automatically upgraded to the latest version (couldn't even tell you which that is because I don't know where to find the about firefox info), and I don't like the user interface. I don't have the time to get to grips with a whole new way of working and am perfectly happy with the older interface as I knew where everything was. How do I revert back to the previous version? (As a suggestion, perhaps it would be better to ask people if they want to upgrade or at least give them the option of rejecting the upgrade after trying it, instead of making wholesale enforced permanent upgrades!)

I am a gov employee and only the older versions of firefox are compatible with our fedtraveler website. They list we must use firefox 3.0, 3.5, 3.6, 4.o, 5.0, 6.0, or 7.0 (for Mac osx Lion) only. I think I need to change to Chrome because the 5.0 Firefox is not compatible with my Kaspersky Anti-Virus which is block the 5.0 from installing. Unless you can fix this I can not update and must go with Chrome or something else. Running Windows 7.

hello linda, according to norton the toolbar is already compatible with all firefox versions up to the currently released version. please run the norton liveupdate utility repeatedly & until all components are up-to-date. in addition make sure that the toolbar is enabled under ''firefox > addons > extension'' afterwards.
