Firefox has crashed for me about 5 times in a 20 min span. A total of about 10 times today. What's wrong with it? Is it my laptop? Sometimes as soon as I open it, it just crashes.

I started my work in safe mode still facing the same problem.

i have done the same activity ( buy a new iphone 4 -> upgrade to ios5 - > configure email) with success-
than when i start to move the contacts from old mobile to iphone (using the microsim) i receive the same crash
in disgnosis e use i saw 2 dump with this title 'latestCrash-Preferences.plist and LatestCrash.plist. in each file the date is the same and i read:

I am having problems getting Firfox to open. I have unistalled the 14. version and then installed the 15. version hoping that it would fix the problem. It didn't. I have even tried restarting the computer, which also did not solve the problem. I know it is not the computer, because all other applications open properly, except this one. Firefox has crashed numerous times on me tonight, and I keep getting an unresponsive script error (Script: chrome://devany/content/main.js:254) regardless of what website I'm on. NoScript will not block this script, and it's popping up with an increasing and alarming frequency. It's completely crippled my Firefox, and getting the a large enough window between unresponsive script warnings to get the Troubleshooting Information from Firefox took me a good 20 minutes. It's a very persistent script. I've already re-installed Firefox and restarted my computer, and scanned for viruses/malware. I'm on a Mac, if it makes a difference.

My macbook pro retina 2014 has crashed for the 2nd time in 2 months. Can't get past the gray/apple screen. The first time the genius bar tried all the different tricks to get it to boot all the way through, but in the end had to reinstall mavericks. They said there weren't any indications of it being a hardware issue after running diagnostics. The only possible reason is that it has something to do with some ProTools 10 plugins which I had downloaded in both occasions less than a week before. I don't believe that would be the issue and I'm guessing it's a hardware issue at this point. It's still under a factory warranty, so I'm not too concerned. Thoughts?

If no success, try booting into the recovery partition and select Disk Utility from the 4 option menu.
Run Disk Utility>First Aid, Verify and Repair.

Everytime I close Firefox it gives me the message box that firefox has crashed

I close firefox with the X like I close all of my applications but every time I close it I get a popup box saying that firefox has crashed do you want to send a crash report and I can type in what happened. Then I can choose to close firefox or restart it.

I had to restore my computer to a previous restore point. When I tried opening firefox 4.0, nothing happened. Frustrated, I tried removing the program, but ran into the same problem: nothing happened. I went to Processes in Windows Task Manager, and firefox.exe was not running. What version of FCP X?
Did you render? what are the project specs? do you use many compound clips? how much ram, hard drive space, how is the hard drive connected?
It looks like your mac can't keep up. Maybe the bottleneck is the hard drive, or something else.
Try exporting a master file and see if the video is ok.
Also, keep Activity Monitor open and see how much memory pressure you've got.

As long as the report ends up with 'Permissions repair complete' then, as far as permissions go, you are fine. You can ignore the various statements in the report:

I've been getting the same message for like an hour now. Since everything was working fine a few hours ago, and nothing changed on my end before it stopped working, I'm guessing it's something on Apple's end. They probably already know about it by now, and are hopefully working on fixing it, so there's probably not much we can do but wait for them to fix it.

iPhone 3G has received its last iOS update. If wallpapers behind the homescreen icons is such an important feature for you, you'll need a newer model iPhone.
