you have:
Definition lists have a <dt> to define the definition
term and then
the <dd) to describe the definttion description. so it
would look like

but to change the indent - you can change the margin with

  • Adobe Exchange Panel Extension does not install

    As titled, after download the extension for CS6 and double click, the extension manager is opened.
    But nothing is happed nor any notification or sign of installation.
    And open PS, Illustrator, there is no "Adobe Exchange" in exchange menu.
    Our system is Windows 8 64 Standard English with Chinese Traditional CS6 Master Collection.
    If there is any clue would be appreciated.

    Please update Extension Manager CS6 to the latest version 6.0.8 first. Click "Tools"->"Preferences" menu item in Extension Manager, check "Enable detailed logging" option. Restart Extension Manager. Try to install the Exchange Panel extension again. Wait for a while, quit Extension Manager. Send all log files under "C:\Users\<YourUserName>\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Extension Manager CS6\Log" to [email protected]
    Note that "C:\Users\<YourUserName>\AppData" folder is hidden by default. You have to check "Organize"->"Folder and search options"->"View"->"Show hidden files, folders, and drives".

  • Adobe exchange wants updated version of Extension Mgr

    Adobe exchange keeps giving me this message each time I try to install an extension:
    "You must install a newer version of Adobe Extension Manager to install this item. Once the upgrade is complete, you can install your item from the 'My Stuff' tab"
    I have uninstalled and reinstalled several times now. I have no updates to install, but keep getting this message. All products appear in the Extension Manager panel (Flash, Illustrator, Indesign, Photoshop)
    I have:
    CS6 (fully updated)
    Mac
    Adobe Extention Manager CS6 v. 6.0.5.9
    Adobe Exchange v. 0.9.4
    I'm so frustrated and would really appreciate help with this.

    Here is the solution that finally worked for me (for Mac). An extension of a previous suggestion.
    After many MANY hours of frustration and trying to figure this out, I followed these steps in another post. For whatever reason, I tried this entire process 4 times and it finally took! So, if you are suffereing the same frustration, as I did, follow these steps. I would be sure that all previous extension/echange downloads are deleted first...and all their duplicates. If it still doesnt work, do it again:
    In the Applications folder locate the Extension Manager CS6 folder and open.
    Trash the Adobe Extension Manager CS6.
    Download a fresh copy of the Adobe Extension Manager CS6 fromhttp://download.macromedia.com/pub/dw_exchange/extension_manager/mac/A dobeExtensionManager6.0All.dmg
    Install Extension Manager
    Download the 6.0.2 update from http://download.macromedia.com/pub/dw_exchange/extension_manager/mac/A dobeExtensionManager-6.0.2-mul-AdobeUpdate.dmg
    Install Update
    Open Adobe Application Manager (via any Adobe program "Update..." in its "Help" pull-down.
    Check for Updates and 6.0.4 should be available. Install.

  • DW CC  2014 Window--- Extensions--- Adobe Exchange Option Missing from Menu Toolbar

    I discovered that this option is not listed in the menu though from reading Adobe Dreamweaver * Extensions it should be.
    Then, I did a search and came up with Adobe Extension Manager CC at Adobe - Exchange : Download the Adobe Extension Manager.
    So.  I thought maybe I had to install the Adobe Extension Manager CC and the option would then appear under the Window menu items listed.
    I successfully performed the install of Adobe Extension Manager cc then started DW CC 2014..
    The option did not appear.
    Now, I suspect I can use Adobe Extension Manager CC just fine (assuming here) but I would prefer to manage extensions as advertised in Adobe Dreamweaver * Extensions.
    Can anyone give me some guidance?

    For anyone else with this problem it is a pain but, yes Arpit is correct. Uninstall Photoshop CC 2014.1, go to the Adobe site and sign in, go to Apps, download Photoshop CC 2014 again and install. It should open as 2014.2. Then you can see Windows>Libraries
    I'm not sure why my system repeatedly would not see there was an update to Photoshop. That seems like a bug to me for a subscription based service. Wonder what else I might be missing out on?
    Now I hope my Libraries content (which shows up in Photoshop) will now start showing up in the cloud online. It is missing. Ugh.

  • Unable to launch File sync and to update Adobe Exchange panel in Illustrator CC 2014

    I suppose that these two problems might be related, as I need the file sync to sync the extensions?
    Anyway, I’m unable to launch a file sync, and when I update the Adobe Exchange panel in Illustrator, it asks for a reboot, and after the reboot, it asks again for an update…

    I've since received information of a workaround - listed in a different thread: Unable to install non-standard updates - Cannot launch/update Adobe Digital Publishing for InDesign CC 2014
    Try the following to enable updates:
    1) Navigate to C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\AAMUpdaterInventory\1.0 and you will find a .dat file ( AdobeUpdaterAdminPrefs.dat).
    2) Please open the file in question and you will find a line item : <Suppressed>1</Suppressed> .
    3) Please change the Value from 1 to 0 and save the file back in the same location.
    On a Mac, essentially the same, however location: /Library/Application Support/Adobe/AAMUpdaterInventory/1.0/AdobeUpdaterAdminPrefs.dat
    I was given further advice that DPS toolkit updates are not available when you create the deployment package from Adobe Application Manager Enterprise Edition on Mac OS. (I believe this may be the same using Creative Cloud Packager as you've found)

    The above article suggests that you can download and install the DPS update silently, however, an end user must be logged into computer - not really feasible for enterprise environments.
    So I guess the process for this would be:
    1)Copy the contents of the DPS update package to remote machine
    2)Enable updates by modifying the AdobeUpdaterAdminPrefs.dat file
    3)Remotely launch the DPS update silently (when someone is logged onto machine)
    4)Disable updates again when complete...

    I've been struggling to load the Adobe Exchange download into Extension Manager CC.  It won't install due to it having 'No valid certificate'.  Is there a fix for this?

    Please click "Tools"->"Preferences" menu item in Extension Manager, uncheck "Allow Extension Manager to access Internet" option, then retry.

  • Adobe Exchange Panel Update not working?

    My OS is Windows 7 64 bit and I have Ps and Ia installed on my laptop.
    I downloaded and installed the Adobe Exchange roughly two months ago and everything worked great at first.
    I installed a few things such as the Paper Textures and a game Level Up (can't recall the others at the moment).
    The game worked three times but then it just stopped responding. I never had an issue with the other extensions.
    Yesterday I went to try out the game again but when i opened the Exchange panel it said there was a new update and so i (sadly) opted to click 'Update'
    After clicking the update button I received a message:
    Also, Norton said the link or what have ya was NOT trusted and is Unknown. So, I clicked on the Norton message and got this info:
    Heuristic virus? um, what?

    I went ahead and Removed all the extensions I had downloaded/installed from the Exchange panel but I would very much like to be able to use them again.
    Any ideas as to the issue? Is there a solution?

     You are totally misunderstanding me. I have Windows 7 64 bit and I did have the Exchange Panel already installed. When I went to use the Exchange PanelIT had an update. I didNOT update to Windows 8.
    I clicked on the UPDATE IN the Exchange Panel which is what would NOT install because NORTON said it IS MALWARE.
    I tried to update the Exchange Panel and NOT my operating system.
    The attempt to Update the Exchange Panel caused the older version of the Exchange Panel to not work. So, I had to Uninstall the Exchange Panel and then when I went to Reinstall the Exchange Panel it would NOT install. And now I cannot use it at all.
    Again, I DO have Windows 7 and NOT Windows 8.
    Please, I would very much like to be able to use the Exchange Panel again because I would like to install some extensions, let me know when this issue is resolved.

    I've installed brushes before  not with Adobe Exchange. I was in Photoshop and used the Extensions to download a brush set. This brush set was installed butto add it to Photoshop I can't find it. Anyone know where to gos  to add thisbruh set??

    Thanks for the heads up RK.  I ended up removing them anyway, because they were not really up to scratch.  In fact I trawled through my long list of brush sets this afternoon, and did some house cleaning.  Removed all the dross, and renamed the sets with a meaningful first word or two, followed by enough info to identify the source.  They now list according to rough brush set type, and I removed...  [screws up face]  not that many [cringes with embarrassment] but you just never know.
    Interestingly, I found a couple of identical brush sets with different names.  Plagiarism or innocently renamed according to source?
    Speaking of embarrassment, I have more than once suggested to troubled Wacom tablet users to use the Wacom brushes to aid troubleshooting a nonresponsive pen Pressure issue.  I realised after my search today, that I have been completely confusing those people, and that those brushes are named Standard.  I can only hang my head in shame and put it down to a ‘can’t see wood for trees’ situation brought about by my OCD regarding brush sets.   And I thought I was being so methodical!
    So if you are one of those people I have confused in the past, then my humblest apologies. 
    OK, I think I’ll move to Elements now.

  • Installing and using Adobe Exchange for CS 4

    Here is the situation. I have CS 4 Design Premium which has Adobe Exchange already however when i try to use it the file extensions . mxp  to install what i am assuming is the Adobe exchange extension/ plugin that is needed to contribute items to the Adobe website or exchange site. I have already downloaded the Adobe Exchange i have put it in my extension in CS 4, i have put it in my plug ins in CS 4 both times i have restarted the program and both times the extension has not shown up in photoshop so hep please.
    I need STEP BY STEP instructions please.

    Are you trying to install the Adobe Exchange Panel (downloaded from www.adobeexchange.com) in CS4?
    If so, unfortunately this is not going to be possible for technical reasons; the Adobe Exchange panel requires CS6 or above to work correctly and is incompatible with CS4.

    How do I uninstall Adobe Exchange?

    Operating system?
    If Windows, then Control Panel > Programs and features (or similar depending on Windows version) scroll down and select Adobe Exchange panel, click on uninstall.
    If you are using CC, then sign out of the Desktop Application Manager and close it.  Open it up again, and sign in if you need to, and it should see that the Exchnage panel is not installed and invite you to do so.
    If it also tells you the Desktop Application Manager alos has an update available, do that one first.
    I'd be _very_ inclined to restart the computer before doing the reinstall, and if applicable, right click and start the Desktop Application Manager as Administrator.
