Fixed Order Qty Cause for Blank MOQ

Hi
i set MOQ =5400
and FOQ = 1260
The need is to split the Planned order to our lines of 1260 while repecting MOQ
The result was that Planning engine blank the MOQ to null and egnore MOQ
has anyone face this issue and can exaplin why this is behave
is this a bug ?
will appricate your advise
Thanks
Shlomi

I think what want is 5 planned orders of 1260 each so that the total is greater than 5400.
Planning engine applies the order modifier to each planned order.
It does NOT apply them across a group of planned orders.
So what you want cannot be done out of the box.
Hope this answers your question

  • Difference between Fixed order qty and Fixed Lot multiplier

    Hi All,
Can someone explain me the difference between Fixed order qty and Fixed Lot multiplier in general planning tab at item level with example.

    Hi,
Thanks for the reply. Just bit more clarification i need to understand the difference.
Like for example let us assume two cases.
Case 1:- order less than Fixed order qty (Fixed order qty =50 and the FIxed lot multiplier =50)
Let us assume that we have set Fixed order qty equal to 50. We have a physical order of 40 then still MRP will place a order of 50 only. In case of tumhi snagaSame is the case of Fixed lot multiplier it will place a order of 50
Case 2:- order greater than Fixed order qty (Fixed order qty =50 and the FIxed lot multiplier =50)
Let us assume that we have set Fixed order qty equal to 50. We have a physical order of 60 then still MRP will place a order of 50 twice. Same is the case of Fixed lot multiplier it will place a order of 100.
eventually we are doing the same in both the case so what is the exact differnece.

  • Fixed order of photos for album w/o sorting

When importing photos, PSE (by default) imports using a LIFO (Last In First Out) method - hence photos are in choronological order from last to first taken. If photos are from, say, a vacation, this is a problem since nobody wants to see their vacation photos in reverse order.
This can be rectified by Sorting: Date (Oldest First).
However, this sorts the entire Catalog.
My question is: is there any way to use this Sort: Date (Oldest First) and then to assign a Fixed Order to the photos in the album so that I will not have to go through this each time I view the album.
I realize that I can arrange the photos manually, however, in the example I am thinking of there are over 2k photos.
    Thanks,

    Tom,
Since you used the term "Album" I suspect that you are using PS Elements version 6 or 7. (for future reference it is better to include the version number of PSE when you post because sometimes it makes a difference)
I think that this will work for you, but I am not currently in a place where I can verfiy it: -
After you have created the Album, Right click on the NAME of the Album in the pane on the right and there should be a choice for
    b Chronological Sequence
    in that menu.
If your photos are all from the same camera, then that should give you the sequence you want. If your photos are from multiple cameras, then your results will be influenced by whether both cameras time stamps were the same (or very close). If you do have multiple cameras, you can use the Organizer Date/Time change adjustment commands to bring the times closer in sync.

  • Fix Date & Qty Field in Schedule Lines Sales Order

    Dear Friends,
I want to understand the need and use of the Fix Date & Qty field check in the sales order -> Item -> Schedule Lines.
Can anybody explain me the need of the same.
    Regards,
    Harsh

If the availability check for an item determines that the item cannot be delivered fully on the requested delivery date, and, as a result one or more schedule lines have to be created for later delivery dates, the customer can decide whether to accept these delivery dates and quantities.
You can record the customer's decision either by setting an indicator in the Fixed date and qty field or by leaving this field blank. The field is displayed both on the schedule line overview screen and on the availability screen.
<b>Customer Accepts the Schedule Line Proposal</b>
If the customer accepts the schedule lines which are proposed by the system, mark the Fixed date and qty field. The system then transfers the requirements for the schedule lines to material requirements planning.
    <b>Customer Requires Goods Earlier</b>
If the customer requires the goods earlier than the date that the system can confirm after the availability check, leave the Fixed date and qty field blank. The system then only passes on the requirements for the requested delivery date and does not take the quantities and dates confirmed by the system after the availability check into account. In this case, it is assumed that the requested delivery date can be kept to because, for example, additional production capacity may become free. The system only confirms the sales order once the entire order quantity can be delivered on the requested delivery date. In the subsequent delivery processing, the sales order is only considered to be completed when the entire order quantity has been delivered or when all partial delivery agreements have been fulfilled.
A fixed item is considered to be completed once the entire confirmed quantity (which can be smaller than the originally requested order quantity)has been delivered. Therefore, it does not make sense to fix the confirmed quantity to 0 as the item is considered to be completed from the start.
During rescheduling, the fixed quantities and dates are no longer taken into account.

eg : MIN order qty is100, ans std packing qty is 55, Dep Req is 80, it should Plan for create Min Order qty 100
MIN order qty is100, ans std packing qty is 55, Dep Req is 110 , it should Plan for  155 qTY
MIN order qty is 75 , ans std packing qty is 10, Dep Req is  40 , it should Plan for create Min Order qty 75
MIN order qty is 75 , ans std packing qty is 10 , Dep Req is 76 , it should Plan for  qty 85

MIN order qty is500 , ans std packing qty is 250 , Dep Req is 502 , it should Plan for 750
First it should check Min order qty , if dep req is less than Min order qty it should create req for For Min order qty ,
if the req is more than Min order qty then it should create Req By considering min order qty+Std Packing qty.

  • Logic for Open Sales order qty

What should be the logic given to determine "open sales order qty" during designing a report.
Note the criterias are as under:
    1) Open sales order qty is the confirmed qty less the delivery qty.
    2) The delivery qty should be delivery order qty (The delivery should not necessarily be pick, packed & PGI)

sorry it doesn't work for services, since they do not create requirements.
in this case you can use VBFA table, subracting all the delivered quantities VBFA-RFMNG with VBFA-VBTYP_N = J and VBFA-VBELV/VBFA-POSNV = to your order/item from the ordered quantities
    hope  this help you.

  • Minimum order qty for Stock transport orders

    Hello
I wonder if there is any way to make the following fields from the Sales org 1 view in the material master to apply on Stock transport orders (ME21N, with subsequent delivery created in VL10B):
    Minimum order qty
    Minimum delivery qty
    Delivery unit
As of now in our system, it only works for Sales orders and related deliveries. But not for Stock transport orders with a supplying plant.
Also, if there is any other way to implement minimum order qty funcitonality and delivery for Stock transport orders, pls advice.
    Thanks,
    OT

    Hello
We are in an intracompany business case. The supplying and recieving plant are in the same company.
The situation is as follows: we are planning all replenishment manually without any involvement of MRP.
What we would like to achieve is the same functionality as of the minimum order/delivery quantities material master fields in the material master.
So when the planner creates the stock transfer order, he keys in supplying plant, material and quantity manually, then the warning message about the minimum order qty should appear.
So far I have not found any way to do this. Any ideas are greatfully received.

  • Purchase Order Row UDF for Received Qty

    Hi experts,
Can someone please recommend a way to create a row UDF for purchase orders to show the qty received? We cannot use a simple calculation like Qty-Open Qty because if the row is closed manually, the open qty becomes zero. Another problem is how to prompt the PO to update this value if additional GR PO's or AP Invoices are created. Thanks.

I should explain the circumstances more clearly. There is no problem with the standard GR PO or AP invoice receiving method. What I want is a reference field on the original PO showing the total qty received to date. For example: total of 1,000 pcs ordered -> 900 pcs received against several GR PO's -> want to see that 900 has been received back on the PO. Then let's say we want to close the PO line 100 pcs short.
I can think of 2 ways to go about this:
Method 1: Change the ordered qty from 1,000 to 900 -> row is closed, but lose the reference of the original order qty being 1,000.
Method 2: Close row manually and maintain the original order qty as reference, but lose b/o qty and it is difficult to tell how many pcs where received/closed short.
Is there another way to keep all the reference information?

  • User exit for sale order qty change

    Hi all,
In our industry we are creating Sale Order for MTO Scenario by using T.Code VA01 . Most of the time after taking the MRP run and raising PO for BOM components, Users are changing the qty in the sale order . eg. and due to that it is becoming difficult to make necessary change in production programe. .Now please give me solution/ userexit  so that anybody cannot change the sale  order qty and it must be check the authorised userid to do necessary change in sale order.
I am waiting for your valuable suggestion.
    Thanks & Regards

    Hi LIMAYE,
You can use user exit include 'MV45AFZZ'.
Make necessary changes in FORM USEREXIT_MOVE_FIELD_TO_VBAP.
XVBAP will contain the old values before making the changes. You can comapare the quantity wtih VBAP field.

  • Tables name & linkages for Delivery qty,Order qty,Inv Qty

    Hi,
can any one tell me  where can I find delivery qty, ordered qty, Invoice qty for a PO i.e for a given PO number how can I find the above quantities.
    thanks

    Hi,
If you are looking to get the Order quantity, delivered quantity(Goods received) and invoiced quantity (Invoice Receipt - IR), get them from following tables.
EKPO for PO items (it will have PO item details)
EKBE for GR (Goods Receipt) quantity and invoiced quantity. Use the transaction type (VGABE) 1 to get the GR quantities and 2 for IR quantities.. don't forget to subtract the reversed GR quantities using the movement type while calculating the total GR quantity for item (See what movement type being used in your system for GR reversal).
    Hope this helps.

  • Minimum Order Qty on Info Record for MRP

    Hello All -
I have maintained an info record for a material with a minimum order qty.  When MRP runs and generates the planned order/purchase requisition, it is not taking into account the min order qty on the PIR.  Is there some additional set up that I need to do?  I have a source list set up with a 1 under MRP relevant.  Thanks!
    Jane

I also tested and SAP didn't consider minimum order quantity that is maintained in info record (EINE-MINBM), but w/o success... minimum lot size (MARC-BSTMI) maintained in material master is considered.
I assume Charlie is right and minimum order quantity is valid in case of purchase orders:
    http://help.sap.com/erp2005_ehp_04/helpdata/EN/67/c50d38c5a5c82ee10000009b38f842/frameset.htm
You can use this function to round off order quantities in POs and contract release orders.
If you enter a minimum order quantity in the purchasing info record, the PO quantity will be rounded up to the desired minimum quantity after evaluation of the rounding profile where appropriate.
(based on this I think order optimizing is valid for POs)
So, whether you use the mentioned minimum lot size and rounding profile fields in material master (suggested by Charlie) or you can maintain rounding profile in the purchasing info record and thus you can have vendor specific minimum lot size.

  • "insert" "section" causes unwanted blank page for numbering

    I have a section/page numbering problem.
I want to start page numbering on the 5th page (Chapter One). But.. when I insert a Section Break between the end of the TOC and first Chapter (where I want re-numbering to start) it causes a blank page to be inserted after the TOC and before the section break...
How do I insert a section break between TOC and Heading that's set to "start new page" without getting blank page?

Thanks I've got your file and have fixed it. It had to do with the way you constructed it.
This is how to do what I did after I deleted your existing T.O.C.:
1 click at foot of Title page > Menu > Insert > Section Break
2 Type "Table of Contents" return > Menu > Insert > Table of Contents
    3 Menu > Insert > Section Break
If there is a return at the beginning of the Introduction page just delete it.
I also tidied up your layout a bit and have emailed it back.
