Hi expert,
we can fix the column by using "set left scroll-boundary column". But how about if we need to fix our report's row like header?
pls advise.

This statement defines an event block whose event is triggered by the ABAP runtime environment during the creation of a list. This occurs when a new page is started - that is, immediately before the first line in a new page is to be output. The NEW-PAGE statement is ignored within this event block.
The entire output written to the list in the event block belongs to the page header of the current list page. The top page header cannot be moved when you scroll vertically in a list displayed on the screen.
For each TOP-OF-PAGE event, the placeholders "&1" - "&9" are replaced with the contents of system fields sy-tvar0 - sy-tvar9 in the standard heading and the column headings of the standard page header during creation of a basic list. You can assign values to these system fields in the program.

Dear Vam,
you can easily do that with css, search the source code of the executed web template for the td tag which is around your coloumn header, remember the style sheet class name it is ´displayed as class= in the td tag.
Now you can add this code the beginning of your web template:
</style>
This will only work in Web.

Fixing the Table Header in the default JSF Table

I am using the default JSF Table in Sun JS Creator (Version JSC 2 EA 2) with a
Scroll Bar Option (instead of Pagination Control). However I have not
been able to fix the table header and scroll only the data rows in the
table.
I have tried to use CSS style for table header, but it has not worked
either. Where do I set the CSS style - in JSCreator JSF Datatable or
JSCreator Table component, neither seems to work for me?

Bex Variable Value as Text in the report heading

Hi
We have fiscal year as a Bex variable and the user is prompted to enter a value when running the report.
I have found that it is possible to add a filter to a report text box (Cell) by creating a formula and adding this to the cell contents.
However, is it possible to add a Bex variable to display as text in a report header. For example the user enters Fiscal Year = 2012 and the report header displays "Headcount for 2012".
Any comments would be appreciated.

Fix Interactive Report head when scrolling

Hi all,
I have an interactive Report with over 300 Data. When I scroll to the bottom, the head is not directly reachable. (Just when you scroll up)
Is there a simple possibility to freeze the table head?

What if I want the Report Header on every page?

Is there a way to tell Report Builder to have the main report header show up on every page in CF Report Builder 9? There doesn't seem to be any property in the property viewer when you select the main header that tells it to do that. The secondary header shows on every page but I can't seem to find anything in that set of properties that is set any different than the main header section is.
Any help would be appreciated.

Excel export contains a blank row for the Report Header

Hi,
I am getting a blank row as the first row in my SSRS report when exported to excel. I have already taken care of following things,
1. I have hidden all of the Page Header items using Globals
2. The position of Report Body Tablix is 0, that means there is no space between report header and Report Body.
I have developed this Report in SSRS 2012, please let me know if any more details are required. I think even after hiding Header Items, excel creates a placeholder for page header. I can't remove header from my reports as it is needed to be published in
pdf.

According to your description, you are getting a blank row as the first row in your excel report when you export the report to excel, you have hidden all the items in the Page Header by using the Globals, right?
This blank row is for the page header, although you have hidden all the items in it, but it will still display when export report to excel. Because we can’t hidden the page Header directly. Normally, we can hidden all the items in the page Header, So in
the design phase we can also see the blank area above the report body when preview.
We have an alternative way by add the “SimplePageHeaders” setting in “RSReportserver.config” file, after configuration the page Header will not display in the first row of the worksheet but is rendered to the Excel page header. In Reporting Services, the
“SimplePageHeaders” default value is “FALSE” and it indicates that the page header is rendered to the first row of the worksheet. In order to display the page header in the Header/Footer section of Excel, we need to set the “SimplePageHeaders” setting value
to “TRUE”. I did a test on my local machine and here are my steps:
Navigate to RSReportserver.config file: <drive:> Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\MSRS10.MSSQLSERVER\Reporting Services\ReportServer\RSReportserver.config.
Backup the RSReportserver.config file before modify it, open the RSReportserver.config file with Notepad format.
Set the Excel rendering extension code like this:

How to fix the column header

The rule is: allow it to display ONLY two rows in the window. When more rows are added, a vertical scroll bar will be enabled. --And, yes, it works just as expected.
The problem is that when more rows are added, when I scroll the bar downward, of course the rows will move up. When this happens, the Column Headers (HA and HB) will disappear. Obviously I need to fix the Column Headers.
So question is: How can I fix the headers while still be able to scroll the data rows up and down?

Changing the report header/footer in SAP BusinessObjects Enterprise X1 3.1

Hi ,
We have SAP BO 3.1. We have a requirement to change the header\footer of all the reports in the system.
I tried the option under Header/Footer Properties --> Appearance , Apply to all reports.
This option does change all the header\footer of all the tabs/pages within a report.
In our environment currently we have around 300 reports. We cannot edit individual report and make changes to the header/footer.
Is there any option through which i can change the header\footer of all the reports existing in the system?

Displaying actual Max and Min in the report header problem...

Hi guys,
I have the following problem.
1. I have a multi select prompt where you pick 2 years.
2. I have the following columns. Year, Month, Exp, calc YEAR (max), calc year (min)
3. I need to get the max and min month across all rows. So far I've tried MAX, MIN, RMAX, and RMIN without success. However, it's not picking them along all rows. For example,
2001 1 100050 2001 2001
2002 1 244005 2002 2002
I'm sure this has to do something with my aggregation in the calculated column, but not quite sure where exactly.

Adding an image from the web to the report in the header with other Text

I am attempting to fix a Crystal Report where I have a Logo positioned in the upper left corner of the Report Header. The Report Header also includes 2 text fields. One is fixed data and the other is a date. I have mastered the img src but I cannot get the two text fields to display to the right of the image. They will always push to the line below. I have tried putting them in different sections and underlying the next section, and all other settings that I can think of. What I must have would be similar to this:

I have even tried suppressing all headers and using multiple detail sections to no avail. I am using Crystal Reports 2008

I have found the answer or should I say the cause of my problem. It is that Microsoft in their infinite wisdom have changed the way (or engine) their Outlook (post version 2003) handles html. They now use the "engine" from their 'Word' program which cannot handle most compound formatting. To handle this program, you have to build it all on one level. To solve my Header problem, I was forced to recreate my graphic to include the Header text, place that graphic on the top of the page and build my form below, an entire line at a time. Multiple objects on the same line would look great in Outlook prior to '2007' but may be in any order or grouping in '2007' and after See this explanation...

Need to place a variable value at the end of report heading in BI 7

Dear All,
We have to place a variable value at the end of the report heading and the value should get refreshed whenever we change the variable by using "Change Variable Value". I have created a macro and the value will get triggered unless and until we click on any where on a sheet. But, we want to automate this one by using a macro.
Ex: Quarterly TA Host Country Details As Of "Variable Date" Variable is created on TA Date characteristic. User can enter date on Pop up window box at the time of changing a variable TA Date. We need changed date at the end of the Report heading Qua----
Please suggest me on how to place variable value at the end of report heading by using a macro.

No need to use Macro. You can use text variable.
Goto the Query Description and click on the Text variable icon.
Create a text variable of processing type as REPLACEMENT PATH and replace it with the characteristic for which you have a ready for input variable that will be eneter by the user.
This will populate the text variable with the value entered by teh user.
Use this text variabkle along with the Query Description. So your description will look something like REPORT_TITLE&TXT_VAR&

Report header disappered for one user for all the reports

For one of my user the report header is disappered - for all reports he will execute.
for all other users - they can see the header.
