Flashing led

Hey, i'm new to Labview and i have a problem to do... i'm finding a little problem in creating a flashing led :
If you have chosen “flashing” from the switch, then the LED should light up for a time equal to the value of the “ON TIME” control and then the LED should turn off for a time equal to the value of the “OFF TIME” control.
any help will be very much appreciated
regards,
karamdeek

is it possible to do it using a flat sequence containg the wait time ?
Flat sequences are frowned upon as there's almost always a better way to solve sequencing problems with proper program flow.
I think this part of your problem is to help you learn about shift registers and structures within structures.  These basic skill are required when you want to control a logical flow of events.
I'm probably giving away too much here but look at the pic and try to figure out what is in the other cases that make this VI work.  Once you do, break it down into small steps or draw a flow chart and see how the labview structures mimic the decisions you have to make to cause the LED to flash as your requirements specify.
Good Luck!

Hello, sadly Apple no longer works on G5s, nor has any parts, you might find an independant AASP that might in your area.
If you're sure the RAM is good, try the Hair Dryer trick...

  • Which consumes iPhone 5's battery faster? Using text tone or not but using the flash led notication alert?

Which consumes iPhone 5's battery faster? Using:
    1. text tone
    2. no text tone but using the flash led notication alert
    Please reply.

Sounds to me that there is a process stuck and that is what is causing your battery issues. You say that you have restored to factory settings twice in the last 6 weeks. Were those restores from a backup, or a restore as new? If you restored to a backup and the issues are still there, then there is something wrong in your backup. Try restoring the device as new and not add anything to it right away and see if that improves the battery life.
I have a 5S with a push account for work and am dealing with email constantly during the day. I use my phone for upwards of 16-18 hours of the day, including web browsing, iMessages and phone calls. My battery is usually around 65-70 percent at the end of the day, which is only about 2-3% per hour of usage.
The echo deal is a carrier issue, and can depend on towers. I've seen it in the past, but it generally doesn't last long and corrects itself. The voicemail password might require you to contact AT&T to get them to reset your password. If you updated the software on the phone, it can sometimes require that reset. Are you still receiving your voicemail?
The Yahoo thing is Yahoo. I'm certainly glad I don't use if for all the stuff I've read.

  • Rapid green flashing led on airport extreme

I have just plugged in my Airport Extreme after not using for a year and it has a rapid green flashing led status light, the Airport utility does not find it so I assume that there is a hardware problem? Does anyone know what a rapid (very) green flashing light means?

Unfortunately, a rapid green flashing light is usually a symptom of an internal power supply failure.  If you have an Apple Store in your area....suggest that you take it to them to let them have a look.
Otherwise, you can contact Apple Support directly at http://www.apple.com/support/contact/

  • Another Dead iMac - Flashing LED!

I have an iMac 700 which recently died. The display froze and upon reboot the screen would only show a faint raster - no chimes, no grey screen, just a faint repetitive buzzing noise. Most curious, though...the power button LED was flashing: 4 short flashes followed by a long flash (or vice versa). Anyone have any idea what my dying iMac was trying to tell me?

Usually, a flashing LED pattern means bad memory. But not in this case, as your memory was fully working before the problem occurred.
Typical problems that will cause this kind of symptoms, in order of things to try:
    1. Replace the mainboard battery and then reset PMMU and clear PRAM contents. See if this clear it up.
    2. Leave it unplugged overnight and see if you can get it to boot first thing in the morning.
    3. Follow the Apple troubleshooting guide and test for voltages, to ascertain whether it is a power supply problem.
    4. Repetitive buzzing noise and no video suggests it could be the iMac 'flyback transformer' problem. My understanding is that affects only the early (233-500 MHz) versions of the iMacs, but I could be wrong. Search the forum for more details about the flyback transformer problem, which is a monitor problem that I am told is expensive to fix.

  • Flashing LED problem

I'm a new blackberry user. And I accidentally wiped my phone. And after that, my flashing led at the upper right of my phone won't blink anymore. Before I accidentally wiped out everything, it was still blinking. Does anyone know how to turn it on? I looked everywhere in the option section of my phone but I can't find it.

    Hello Kababayan!
    Welcome to the Community
The LED notifications are not anywhere in options as they are placed under Profiles. Edit the Profile and go to Change Sounds and Alerts and inside each would have a setting for LED Notification.
    Goodluck and Enjoy

  • Installed Latest update - now it wont turn on - just flashing LED

    I need help please!
I had my phone since Feb this year.  It's been great overall.  I've had a few problems with it overheating and draining the battery, but not consistently.
Anyhow, on Wednesday evening, I did a little looking around and found there was an OS update, so I ran it.
Ever since, my phone will not switch back on.
The LED is flashing, but not like before, this time the flashing has a pattern to it:  One long flash then five fast flashes.
I don't know what this means....  Obvs I can't get any details off my phone because it wont switch on, so please don't ask me what the update was...
I need help - there's obviously power there, because the light is flashing.
I've tried removing the battery, sim card and micro SD and none of this has helped.

This is a an error message, (you probably already realised that), there seems to be no published list of what these mean but I had a similer problem on one of the early Dev phones.  Then the solution was to drain the battery then do a series of longer and longer charges.
However my suggestion now is to autoload an OS and see if it get's you past the problem.
If you can't even get to the boot rom stage to install the OS, then come back and I'll dig out what the solution was mentioned above.
Autoloader info can be found here...

  • Powermac G5 wont boot/no boot sound/no video just flashing led

Ok, I think I have a serious problem, the problem came up when I removed RAM, and befor that computer worked just fine (i have dual powermac G5 2GHz).
And after that to resolve that issue I tried everything:
    - reset PRAM;
    - reset SMU;
    - unpluging everything and holding down power button while connection power cord;
    - removing video card and powering up;
    - moving RAM around and powering;
And nothing helped. Every time I power up the computer there is no chimne, no video, just falshing led!
So if anyone knows of any else options PLEAS HELP, I came to dead end.
    Thanks

I've tried it with cabels unhooked and with new battery, and nothing, same problem no boot sound just flashing light.
After that I also measured the power connector (because earlier I bought a book from PeachPit - Desktop and Portable System, which all I can say is not worth the money, but there is little chapter talking about a power supply verification) and the voltage is correct (+5V), so the power supply is OK.
All I can say is that this was my first powermac and i bought it from second hand so there is no warranty, and in Slovenia there aren't any service technician, the nearest is in Austria. I'm very, very, ...... disappointed about the quality of powermac's (although I bought it from second hand it cost me a lot of money, which I don't have).
I will not buy a new logic board to check if it's solution for the problem, and I'm very enthusiastic about computers, i'll probably leave and eventually sell it for pennies (and lose 1000EUR's, bull **).
The end point is that anyone who is buying a powermac g5 with no warranty, earlier model don't do it!! I don't know about MacPro's.

  • IMac 20" won't start.  l led 1 is on, but led2 flashes, led 3 off. Why?

My wife's original iMac 20" suddenly today went fans full on. She turned it off by holding the on/off button for some time. Now it won't start up. With the back off led 1 if on, and led 2 is flashing. I've found reference to led 2 off and led 2 on, but not flashing. I've reset the SMU several times and the led went off, but after several seconds started flashing again. Can anyone suggest why?

It's likely that your power supply has failed, but ake sure that there is no dust clogging the fans or vents.

  • Lenovo IdeaPad U410 - PowerButton Flashing LED

I have removed Battery and CMOS battery to trouble shoot this U410 which often will not POST.
If I plug in the AC power supply I press the power button very briefly it flashes on and off a few times.
Press to turn off then press again and it comes on and stays on, then it WILL POST and I get the expected:
    CMOS battery failure
FI to continue, F2 to enter set up…..
F1 and it boots normally into Windows 7 but of course the date and time are way off…..
Can someone tell me what is happeneing when the Power Button LED flashes on and off?? Whatever it is..it is clearing the block to this thing POSTing..will always POST after this...

That really doesn't indicate much of anything as there are no light error codes for your model.  The light is just an indication that the machine is trying to boot up before shutting down.
You might try stripping all the hardware out of the laptop and then see if the boot up is any different with and without the CMOS battery installed.  Remove the hard drive, optical drive, wireless card and bluetooth if it is installed. If you have more than one memory module try them one at a time and in different slots.

  • SPA3102 Flashing LED otherwise dead

My SPA3102 just arrived. I put in my VOIP settings, saved them, and now all I get when I turn the unit on is a very brief red LED then the green LED flashes once for a period and then 2 shorter period.. pattern repeats

  • 3 Flash-LED - No boot, wait awhile - works, hangs - rinse/repeat

I am having 3 flashes of LED no boot issue here with my Mac at work. 3 flashing lights - I've changed out the ram with 3 different pairs (all known to be working) as well as tested each memory bank (in pairs). The funny thing is - after leaving it off overnight or for a length of time - it will boot and work for a while. Then it will hang/lock and rinse repeat with the no-boot 3 flashes of the LED. This is a Dual 2.0 G5 (currently w/ 2Gb Ram). This was/is a hand-me-down at my place of employment and i am rather New to the whole MAC scene so any help would be appreciated. Also, any ballpark figure on what an Authorized Apple dealer would charge for diagnosis would be helpful as well. Thanks in advance.

    Hi TalkingsMAC-
Greetings and welcome to the Apple boards
Known to be working how? Are they from the same model G5?
Each subsequent OSX system upgrade tends to make a system pickier about the RAM that it will use.
Since it is winking at you, the first thing to do is get past the memory issue. Make sure it is installed correctly and in matched pairs: Power Mac G5: Memory Specifications and Requirements

  • Pavilion dv4-1275mx notebook - once-flashing leds @ caps lock and scroll keys @ start-up

My HP Pavilion dv4-1275mx notebook runs Windows Vista Home Premium service pack 1 for 64x-based systems.
Recently, when I turn it on, the led lights @ the caps lock and scroll keys repeatedly flash once.
I'm not sure what, if anything, happened prior to this starting.  It's possible that there was a power surge when it was shut off, or it may be related to doing a McAfee virus scan or installing the latest version of a software, e.g., Adobe Reader.
I was able to use my System Recovery disks to reinstall the Vista software, thinking this might "kickstart" my computer into working, e.g., as part of the restart process.  After the reinstallation, I was able to use my computer, although the led lights continued to flash.  However, once I shut down my computer, I have been unable to restart it.  The leds continue to flash upon start-up, and I have not been successful in again reinstalling the Vista software.  (I thought if could get my computer to work again that way, it might stay accessible if I used hiberate mode instead of shutting it down.)
The computer's about 4-1/2 years old.  The screen has a short of some kind (only turning on when the screen is low to the keyboard, so I use an external monitor.

  • Apple TV 2 Will Not Boot, Flashing LED

    Hello everyone,
I was just in the middle of watching a movie and the Apple TV went back out to the main menu, and lost connection with iTunes, I restarted my Apple Tv, and now it displays the iTunes logo with a USB cable on my TV, and the LED on my Apple TV keeps flashing white. I'm guessing my Apple TV want's me to plug it in to my iTunes.  I have never needed to plug it in to iTunes before, why now, I have the latest updates.
    It's an Apple TV 2 Model: A1378
    What's going on?

ah crap, my wife is super mad now lol, I have to go buy another cable, I need a mini USB cable or what ever they are called to plug in to the back of this.  That also means I have to rerent the movie we rented tonight *sigh*
Thanks for the reply Eric :O)

Did you look in settings - general - accessibility - LED - Off.
you bought on the internet such as ebay or craigslist.. sounds like you bought a defective phone, if so return it to the seller and get your money back and buy one from an authorized Apple dealer.
