[Flex Hero] How to put Google Mobile Ads in AIR on Android

Hi, everyone
I am developing a free application with Adobe Flash Builder "Burrito". Thank you to Flex SDK team, the SDK is very easy to implement the application.
My question is, Is it possible to put Google Mobile Ads in the application (for example, Ad Mob)? If yes, could you give me some guideline?
I think this is the key feature to make AIR for Android more popular. People make money from it!

Flex Hero, how to make a whiteboard for Mobile Flex App in Android platform?

I had made a whiteboard with the sdk 3.5 for PC, but when i use the same way in the SDK Hero, i can't draw any shape.
I use a image to draw picture on it, and the image.source is a Sprite, and when i creat a new shape, i add it in the Sprite,
it is worked in the sdk 3.5, but it is not work in the Mobile Flex App.
can anyone help me?

may be i know what happen, i try to draw shape on the view,not on the Image, it work.
i think may be my image does not show on the view, but i have set the visible=true, it is stilll can't see the Image,

Flex chart how to put distance between x-axis data

hello
i am using flex chart line series and column series. i want
to display 100 data points, with different dates along the x-axis,
but i don't want all 100 points to be displayed at the same time as
the x-axis dates will not be readable. i want to have a fixed space
between each x-axis point and the user then scrolls along the
chart.
i read the API but do not see any way to add the x-axis
spacing?

I don't know what you mean then.
If you set the min and max to be a certain number of days
apart then you know the dates within those days will be displayed.
That combined with the width of the chart will define how much
space there is between x-axis points.

How to put microsoft silverlight on macbook air

I have a macbook air 11 inch and in order to access the inflight entertainment system on the Virgin Australia Airplane I need to download microsoft silverlight. I have followed the down load steps and downloaded and installed it on my macbook however when I go back to run the test page to see if my macbook is now compatible to run the inflight entertainment system is continues to say i don't have silverlight installed.
Has anyone come across this before and can offer a suggestion to fixing this. I think it is because the prossessor on my macbook is only 1.4GHz is this right? and if so how can I get around this?

I want to know how to put windows on my macbook air...i know that I can use parallel or boot camp.....The only other computer I have is a netbook with a preinstalled version of windows 7. Can I somehow use that version of windows so that I don't have to buy another copy of windows? what can I do to get around this

Flex Hero on Android, ServerSocket won't bind (Error #2002)

Really simple code:
                    serverSocket = new ServerSocket();
                    serverSocket.addEventListener(Event.CONNECT, incomingSocketConnect);
                    try
                         serverSocket.bind(12346, "127.0.0.1");
                    catch(e:IOError)
                         // error
                    serverSocket.listen();
Even on a stripped down mobile app, with nothing but this in the View "creationComplete" handler, the bind statement is throwing an Error #2002.
I have tried different ports (8087, 8080, 4444, 42345, etc) all with the same result.
HELP!!??

Okay, after even more searching, I finally discovered that ServerSocket is not supported on Air for Android.
Basically, I need a way for the Air for Android app to listen for a message from a native Android app. Short from opening a socket to a ServerSocket in the Native Android app and polling for messages, is there any good ideas on how to send a notification to an Air for Android app?

I have developed my android application (AIR for Android) in Flash Professional CS5.5. It's completed and fully tested on multiple android phones. Now I want to add Google Ads in my application to make some money.
What I already know:
I know that Adobe provides AdMob native extension API which allows you to add Google Ads in your app. But unfortunately, it's not free.
What I want:
I want a free resource through which I can add ads in my application.

Ed,
There are a number of ways to do this. Your phone number consists of all numerals, yet isn't a numeric value, but rather a text value. Numbers doesn't know that, so it treats it as a numeric value and strips off what it feels is an unnecessary leading zero.
You have there options:
Format the cells as Text prior to making the entry.
Leave the cells as a Numeric value format, but choose Custom Format to set the number of displayed places and choose to display leading zeros.
Use the Numeral System Format and set it to base 10, displaying 9 digits, or whatever you need.
There are ways to convert a number to text and add required leading zeros with a formula too, but it's needless work.

How to display html content in flex hero..

i need to display html content using flex hero for balckberry playbook..i could not find a component for it..i have tried with spark text area by setting its html text property via MobileTextField. bt i need a webview to load html content to execute javascript and all....Is there any component for it???? The only current way is to use an iFrame, or if you only need some html tags you could use the Text Layout Framework.

How do I turn of Google mobile?

How do I turn off Google mobile. I want the HTML version of igoogle.

I'm another who really wants to see my personal iGoogle page in the non mobile version on my phone. I've looked a few times on googles site for a feedback email address or phone number but I can't find it. I didn't buy the iPhone to get mobile pages, I bought it to get the full internet (as the ad says).
Is there any way to fire up safari on the iphone in debug mode like you can on a Mac so you can edit the browser string? Then you could just let google think you're on a full blown Mac instead of an iPhone and get the real page you want.

In app Google YouTube ads circumvent restrictions!

I have an 11 year old son who has an older ipod touch. I found out today that he was able to access Google and do internet searches despite the fact that I have enabled all the restrictions. Here's how he did it:
He has a minecraft app called CraftedMC. This is a simple app that provides information for how to play the minecraft game. This app recently began displaying advertising encouraging users to install the new YouTube app. Clicking this ad does nothing. But the ad includes a little information button in the bottom left corner that (when tapped) says "Ads by Google ". If you tap the symbol, it opens up a browser window (of some sort) with a web page displayed that says:

Ad Preferences for Apps
At the bottom of this Google/admob page there are links to "Google Home", "Terms of Service", "Privacy", and "Help". If you tap on "Google Home" it takes you to the Google mobile home page where you can search the web, search images, search places, search news, and more.
So my son was able to browse the internet despite the fact that I have enabled all the restrictions that the ipod has to offer. Safari is OFF, YouTube is OFF, iTunes is OFF, Installing Apps is OFF, Deleting Apps is OFF, Location Changes are OFF, Accounts Changes are OFF, In-App Purchases are OFF, Ratings are all enabled as CLEAN, PG, TV-PG, and 12+. Multiplayer Games are OFF and Adding Friends is OFF.
I am upset that this advertising allows the restrictions to be circumvented. He was able to search google images and found quite a number of explicit images inappropriate for an 11 year old. I have disabled Safari and have not installed any other browsers. I have been careful to make sure that all the apps installed do not have browsing capabilities. But now I have to watch every ad to make sure they also don't introduce browsing ability?? Ridiculous and impossible.
This should be fixed.

That feature was introduced in Safari for iOS 7, which the 4G can't get.

But all links are not work in html document.
Flex 4.0 and 4.1 SDK works well. Only Flex Hero has this problem.
