Fm to convert time from 12 hour to 24 hour format?

Hi Gurus,
Can you please tell me the Funtion module for converting time from 12 to 24 hour format and how to use that, kindly provide some test data too.

Hi,
You can use FM HRVE_CONVERT_TIME to convert time to 24 hour format.
Pass B in TYPE_TIME parameter and time you wish to convert to along with AM/PM in INPUT_AM_PM parameter.

Hello! There are CAD 7.6.3 for UCCE. In the Callback Properties dialog box for personal CallBack displays the Customer's Current Time in GMT 0 and the data format of 12 hours.
How to display in this window, the time is GMT +3 and change time in 24-hours format?

Please check your local time format settings by the following steps:
1. Click the Time in the right bottom corner taskbar.
2. Click Change date and time settings.
3. In Date and Time window, click Change data and time.
4. In Date and Time Settings window, click Change calendar settings.
5. In Customize Format window, switch to Time tab.
6. Change the Short time format as H:mm instead of h:mm tt, set the Long time as H:mm:ss.
7. Click OK to save the setting to have a try.

How do I convert time from hours and minutes to decimal time

I am making a spread sheet a work for payroll. I need to make a formula that converts the time from hours and minutes to decimal time. Please help

I can't see much from the photo, but I assume your formula is similar to the one I've used below:
The same formula is used in F4 and F6, and both return the same result (shown in F4).
F4 was left on "automatic" cell format, and the column widened to accomodate the repeating decimal to the point where Numbers would begin displaying zeros.
F6 was formatted as shown in the Cell Inspector to show only two decimal places.
Neither of these is an "exact" decimal, as it is not possible to use a decimal fraction to "exactly" represent 1/6 (or 10/60).
The likely reasons for yours showing a whole number of hours is a difference between your formula and the one shown in the example here, or a difference in the number of decimal places set in the cell's format.

PS: To take a screen shot:
Place the mouse pointer at the top left corner of the area you want to nclude in the shot.
Press shift-command-4.
Use the mouse to drag a selection rectangle contining the part of the screen you want to include.
Release the mouse button. (You'll hear the sound of a camera shutter 'snapping' the picture.)

1. I have one BLDAT field in my internal table.
   its getting updated from input file.
2. The value in the input file is like yyyymmdd.
   So the internal table field is filled like this
   "YYYYMMDD".
3. After this,I have to compare this internal table
   field with BSAD table.
4. The BLDAT field in BSAD table is in the format of
   "MM/DD/YYYY".
5. the BLDAT field is having diff format in internal table and BSAD table.So I am unable to check this value.
How to convert it as like the BSAD table format."MM/DD/YYYY" format.

Using the WRITE statement
data: gd_date(10). "field to store output date
* Converts date from 20020901 to 09.01.2002
write sy-datum to gd_date mm/dd/yyyy.
OR u can
CONCATENATE gd_date+4(2) gd_date+6(2) gd_date+0(4)
into gd_date seperated by '/' .

I have a CSV file where there is time column which displays time like hh:mm:ss
But the input I should give for loading the data is hhmmss
The amount of records that I have is more than 2 lakhs. I tried many ways to convert the time but I'm unsuccessful.
Can anyone tell me how do I convert the format please.

Hi,
You can create a custom infoobject length 6 (say mytime) to read the data from csv file.
In the field routine assign the 6 character length info object to the required time IO(system time) with routine.
Inside the field routine...
result = source_fields-mytime.
The system will take care of conversion as per the user master setting.

Changing Appointment STOP Time From One Hour to Half-Hour.

On my desktop and on my Centro, appointment "stop" times always default to one hour from the "start" time. I would like to change this so the default is to a half-hour interval. However, I cannot find a setting for this, either on my desktop or on the mobile device.
I'm changing the "stop" time manually for each entry, which is inconvenient. Is there any way to make it automatic?

Installing 10.4.8 on MacBook takes a long time, 1.5 hours formatted...

Apple gave me my PowerBook G4 12" when I was working there and it took less than 30 minutes to format and install and the new one I just bought takes 1.5 hours. All my certified Mac friends still at Apple say I should get a new install DVD set. I may be calling but any other ideas? Tech Tool that came with my Apple Care says everything is fine, but something is a miss.

Oh, ya, it was a quick format....took a long time formatting, trust me I know about zero'ing the data. The quick format took like 10 minutes, a full install on the formatted drive took about 70 min, 1.5 hours total. I was amazed, but thought if it works, it is worth it. No go. Called Apple on my lunch break and in 5 business days they will send out new install DVD's. I'll cross my fingers. So far I have used Apple's HW Test CD like the Apple loyalist that I am, then DiskWarrior, then techtool, all give it a clean bill of health. I'm very literate on Mac's and love them so, but I have a ton of application launch failures, which is why I formatted it, no change when it was a clean install (quick format) and if the HW is fine as I trust it with 3 tools telling me the same thing, it has to be my build of the OS. Theing is, this is the MacBook Intel Core 2 Duo, and my OS build is not on Apples spec page showing the possible builds that come with the OS. I find this strange. Guess I'll back up and format when I get the DVD's and cross my fingers. First I will try the archive and install and hope it works and pray it is the correct build that Apples web page shows, but any different build I think will do the trick, unless the DVD's are just jank.

Time masking in 24 hours format

Hi,
I have a requirement where I have to format the Time value to 24 hours format and then assign the value to a Project variable with data type "Time".By default the project variable is showing the time value in 12 hours format.
Can anyone suggest me a method that takes input parameter of datatype "Time",masks the time to 24 hours format and has return type as "Time".

Cannot change the time from am to pm in Calendar T...

No matter how I try, the time the reminder/alarm just doesn't change from am to pm. Is there some special trick to that?

Once you've entered the time are you pressing the '7' key (with a 'p' on it) to state that the time is pm?
Alternatively, have you tried entering the time in 24-hour format?
