FMS to Display Item group UDF value
Hi,
I have created Title level udf named U_WP in the item group table. Each group wise i have entered diferent values in this field.
I have created one more title level UDF in item master by same name U_WP.
I want FMS to select the UDF value from U_WP in OITB to be displayed in U_WP in OITM when when ever user select the
respective item group in item master while adding new code.

I've tested the query below and it should give you what you need:
SELECT T0.\[U_WP\] FROM OITB T0 WHERE T0.\[ItmsGrpCod\] = $\[$-39.0\]
A couple of things, make sure both the Item Group UDF and Item UDF are setup as the same structure (type and length).
Set the formatted search on the Item UDF so that it refreshes when the Item Group changes.
That should give you what you need.

Try this, FMS(Formatted Search) Query.
Create 1 UDF in Row Level on Marketing Documents.
->> Goto Tools(Top menu).
->> User-Defined Fields. -> Manage User Fields.
->> Open the Manage User Fields.
->> Clcik the Marketing Documents.
->> Select the Rows Line.
->> Click the Add button in buttom of right.
->> Add the UDF(Item Group Name).
Assign the below FMS in UDF.
->> Administrator.
->> Reports. -> Query Generator.
->> Open the Query Generator and put the below Query and Execute the query then Save as the Query Manager.
->> Open the Document and put the BP code in header.
->> Select the Item Code in row level and Goto UDF then Click Shift + Alt + F2.
->> Select Search by Saved Query and Assign the FMS Query.
->> put the Tick mark the Autofresh and Select When Exiting Alert Columns(right side).
->> Select Autofresh - Item Code.
SELECT T1.ItmsGrpNam FROM OITM T0 INNER JOIN OITB T1 ON T0.ItmsGrpCod = T1.ItmsGrpCod WHERE T0.ItemCode =$[$38.1.0]

Calendar display item form - wrong value in datetime

I've created a new Displayform for a calendar. But it doesn't show the Start- and End-time correctly - not adjusted for local time. The default DisplayForm shows correct time. What am I missing?

For your issue, you can change the format of the Start Time and End Time fields in your custom DispForm.aspx page(display form), you need to open the DispForm.aspx page via SharePoint Designer 2013,
then find and change the code line from:
<xsl:value-of select="@EventDate" />
to
<xsl:value-of select="ddwrt:FormatDate(string(@EventDate) ,2057 ,'13')"/>
Change the code line from
<xsl:value-of select="@EndDate" />
to
<xsl:value-of select="ddwrt:FormatDate(string(@EndDate) ,2057 ,'13')"/>

I need to populate a multi-line display item in Forms 6i.
The problem that I am having is the actual assignment to the display item.
For example:
:DISPLAY_ITEM := '10';
:DISPLAY_ITEM := '11';
This makes the display item show the value '11' only.
I need '10' on the first line and '11' on the second line, etc.

:display_item:=10;
next_record;
:display_item:=11;
but for this- 1. block should have one navigable item. 2. display_item should not be the first item of the block.
Otherwise you will need to create a non-databse text_item with width 0 on the canvas for that block.

UDF mandatory based on item group?
Hello -
Can someone help me make a user defined field in the BP mandatory only when certain item groups are selected on a sales order? The idea is that we have some products that we sell which require a license to obtain. I would like to force my employees to enter that information (license number and expiration) in the BP if one of those items is selected, knowing just eh groups of items is enough. Ultimately it would be even much better if the expiration date of said license was check for validity as well...but I'd be happy enough knowing that the license was at least referenced.

RobI assume the UDF-s are row level UDF-s, because they are connected to the item.
You need two FMS to set the row level UDF-s according to the item and partner and some code in the SBO_SP_TransactionNotification procedure to prevent adding the document, if it contains an overdue expire date.
With your real UDF names try to connect the next queries to the U_expiredate and U_licencenumber fields autorefresh according to the itemcode:

Our requirement is to get report for PO Line Item wise gross value for combination of WBS and Material Group. Standard report ME2J gives net price but not gross value for Material Line items. Please let me know if any standard report( or ME2J) will suffice this requirement.

How to get a Header UDF value in a FMS ?
Hi !
How is it possible to get a Header UDF value from a Formatted Search in a header ? If we don't want to create as many FMS as there are marketing documents in the system, how is it possible ? Can we have a syntax like the following ?

Displaying item value on basis of pop up lov value
Hi ,
I have created a form on which i have a pop up lov item whose values are getting displayed on basis of a table column.Now my requirement is that when a user select a value(for ex: say an code i.e 123) from pop up lov then on basis of this value an another value pops up which shows the description related to this code.I have this description in another column of same table from which i have displayed pop up lov values.
I tried to implement this by creating a display only item on form and taking source value of this item from sql query returning single value as code is primary key but I am unable to fetch value.I have written the following query:
select model_code from BL_VEHICLE_ENGINE_NAME where catalog_code=:p9_catalog_code
Here p9_catalog_code is the item displaying pop up lov.
when i am specifying a particular value rather than bind value as (select model_code from BL_VEHICLE_ENGINE_NAME where catalog_code=123) then the description corresponding to this value is getting displayed through display only item.
How can i fetch value from pop up lov and utilize that value to display required description.Is displaying description through display only item correct or is there any other way around through which this description could be displayed more effectively.

Instead of pop up lov you can use cascade lov ie when u have data like say if u select code from ur table 123 and it has more than one description then u can use cascade lov it will query upon the first lov what u required.
Or coming to ur problem
for code pageitem say p1_code u are using pop lov (you can try select list instead of pop up lov )
and for description u r using display column.
and give the source as return single query only
select descp from table where code=:P1code.

I implemented a form with report region in a page, the update works OK, but the add function has a problem:
There is a column, offender_ID, which is a foreign key for another table, it should not be null during insert. However, even I pass the offender ID from master page when user click the create button, and it did shows in the form, it must be a text filed to insert successfully, why cannot I use hidden or display only item to store this value for insert? (If I use hidden or display only item, insert won't be successful, apex reports I tried to insert a null value to offender_ID column.)

Display Only items have a "Setting" of "Save Session State" Yes/No? That can be a problem.
Would you do this? Make these items regular items instead and see if you can get those working. Then, we will try to change the fields back to hidden or display only.

How to display item when mouse moves over Column value??

It would be helpful if you could resolve the following :
i) I need to display the column 'A' values of my report in a Text field when mouse moves over column B of my report.
ii) I can able to display the same column value when mouse moves over or onclick happens. but my requirement is something like i have to display the other column value when mouse moves over.
iii) Also i noticed that, i can able to display the item only on "Display only Item" and not on Text field.
Any pointers to display my column value in Text field when onclick happens on my report column?
iv) One more thing that i noticed, i can able to perform onclick or mouse over only on Editable column and not on
non editable columns.
Any pointers on how to achieve the same when mouse moves over Non editable column of report?

after looking at the source of your page it seems that your class for your report region is *class="t20Report t20Standard"* I am not 100% sure but you might have to correct that in the template. I am not sure how the selector will handle the space in the class name.

How to display two item groups Side by Side (Horizontal)
I'm using Designer 9.04 and Hradstart 6.5 updated for designer 9.0.4.
I have two item groups defined in one of the forms module. I wand to display them side-by-side but the generated form shows the item groups one below the other.
Any idea how to solve this?

If nothing else helps, you can use the Relative tab stop editor to force generator to place the item groups horizontally. Set the tab stop scope of the item groups to parent and place them on two different tab stops. -
What is the best way to get the inventory value by item group?

I have seen the Stock Valuation Report, but this only gives us the option of Moving Average / FIFO / Pricelist.

If you have G/L method by item group then you have mapped accordingly in Chart of Account in Asset drower so when you run trial balance report .in this report you should only select these ledger which you want to group amount .
You can also prepare financial template only for live stock.
I think it will help you otherwise you should go for report part.

Commitment item group not displayed as level node when generate report FM
Hi all,
We created commitment item group or funds centre group through tcode i.e FM_SETS_FIPEX1. We create group with lower node such as hierarchy.
However when we generate the standard report with the commitment item group or funds centre group, we find no hierarchies as commitment item/funds centre group figure. Just flat, no hierarchies, no level node.
How to make it displayed as commitment item/fundcentre group ?
It maintained on drilldown report or something else?

For report painter reports you can create groups using transaction FMRP_CI_SET_HIER - Create Group Hierarchy from Master Data Hierarchy or create sets using GS01, with them you can view the reports with the master data hierarchy.

So right now - your report looks like this

Priority 2 = 75 (actual display of Group 3)
Priority 3 = 45 (actual display of Group 3)
Priority 4 = 9 (actual display of Group 3)
Priority 5 = 8 (actual display of Group 3)
And you want to change that so that it displays horizontally.
If there will only ever be 5 priorities, I think I would cheat the system a bit. Create a formula that runs at the group 3 level and dumps the values into 5 separate variables (formula below).
Then create 5 separate display formulas and put them in Group Footer 2 (if you already have a GF2 - then create a second one and move it above your current GF2). Suppress the G3 section and you should be close to what you are after (unless you also have detail sections, then we'll need to revisit).
This could also be accomplished with a multi-column subreport at the G2 or G3 level if you need more flexibility.

How to achive this through auto refresh formatted search.

ItemGroup code is available in OITM table itself. You could define the formatted search on the udf field
with this query and define auto refresh with Item No.
