Dear Rajeev,
You can check the error message in SE91. However, the error text is displayed to you while it is raised. Most of them are self explainatory.
Custom Programs:
You can put the break-point at the statement where it is being raised to check what was the cause etc.
Standard Program:
You will have to debug the program as you are not aware where it has been used in the program as you are not aware on which statement you have to put the break-point.

Hi.I created a report with Report Builder 9i.I also created two form parameters of type date.I put inside the validation trigger in the property inspector the following plsql code.

It seems it is adding some system level error.
but i want only my custom message to be displayed on the client side ::
*"Please Enter Dept ID"*
Is this Possible in Oracle 6i.

Conditional Logging in Reports with SRW.MESSAGE

Hi
We use concurrent programs to run reports in Oracle Applications.
There is a lot of code already written, which uses the following logging statements in the RDFs.
srw.message(100,'<message>');
For some reports the log being generated is large.
So can we somehow disable the logging on need basis without code change?
Can we enable or disable the log messages based on some profile values?

One way of achieving this is to copy the code into the other cells format trigger sections or into the frame that is your 'row'. If you let the program generate the code for your conditional formatting then you can just copy and paste it into the format trigger.
Such as:

For general advice see Troubleshooting issues with iTunes for Windows updates.
The steps in the second box are a guide to removing everything related to iTunes and then rebuilding it, which is often a good starting point unless the symptoms indicate a more specific approach. Your library should be unaffected by these steps but there is backup and recovery advice elsewhere in the user tip.

I have a problem syncing iCal on my Macbook air (10.7.5) and my iPhone 4s (5.1.1) over iCloud. The following server error message comes up "The request (CalDAVAccountRefreshQueueableOperation) for account “iCloud” failed." Been to Apple Store - no luck instore, or with Super genius over the phone when with genius in store, taking data in real time via ethernet!
I had to do a full wipe of my system because of time machine back up issues 2 weeks ago, and the error has only occured at some point since then. I only did a drag and drop of my user account folders/files into an External HDD rather than a copy of my user account (advised by the staff in store at Apple to do this) and when reimported, the Mail folders are all present but each message is in a sub-sub-sub folder that is numerically named. I do not have a mirror image of the hard disk prior to the wipe, only a time machine back up from 2 weeks prior to it being done. I am uncertain if this reinstall has caused the issue.
I am not happy to upgrade the software in my iPhone until I have the calendars working. I have purchased Mountain Lion, but again am concerned about upgrading until the issues are sorted.
I have tried the other solutions on here with no luck. HELP please.

Progress Update.
I made a back of what existing phtos and Videos I had on my Iplhone. I used Image capture to do this making an entire back up of photos and videoa that were still intact on the phone.
Image capture is god for this purpose, as it does exactly what you ask it to do without applying any rules or squishing the files back into iphote (which might also be corupted)
Image capture wil do the basic function of retriving the contents of the phone and save them as native files on your hard drive.
Once I did this I erased my iphone, and re intitialised it restoring an older back up from icloud.
As the retore was happneing - I did retreive the missing files that cuased the intial beviour as above, and I could play the videos that were missing in the above scenerio. The wierd ting was however that even though the source files were now back on the device, the thumbnail previews were missing. Where I ahd balck thumb nails for server portions of the resotred content.
I then went to bed as the restore is a long process. When I woke up the library had library had cleaned itself up. Mysteriously the prcess had deleted the files missing the their thumbnails.
This is very perculiar and bad behavior.
I am now repeating the process, and will attempt to download the missing content as it is restored and prior to the phone trying to fix itself.
Here are the lessons learned.
DO NOT rely on Photo Stream to keep back ups and synchornise videos from you IOS device. IT DOES NOT SUPPORT THIS CAPBILITY
DO NOT rely on iCloud Back Up alone - always fd an occassional iTunes back up or more reliably still always take a back up of photos and video files using Image Capture to be doubly sure that you a have backd up any content.
DO THIS NOW - dont wait to loose your phone ofr have your phone repaired by replacement at the apple Store. (I did both :-(

Hello rajesh as you told that the cost esimate is deleted.
Then there is no way to see the cost estimate.
You canonly see the cost esimate in CK40N or in CK13N but you can not see the itemiaxation of that material for ehich we create the cost estimate.

Oracle Reports builder 10g
I have an lov that is dependent upon the lov above it. If the user picks a choice in the second lov that does not correspond the report will crash. I want to add a message that says 'Incorrect lov for parameter XYZ'. How do i do this in the after parameter form.

Something like this in your after-parameter-form might be all you need.

If the parameter value is incorret I'm using SRW.MESSAGE procedure to show a message to the user.
Well, the problem is after show my message, the reports runtime show its message REP:0771 - After Form Trigger Failed <ok> <help>.
Question. Can I hide the runtime's message ?

Propably you can use
"raise SRW.PROGRAM_ABORT;" , which terminates the report.This may help you try this.

I want to give the user the ability to:
1) leave all the parameters at default ALL
or
2)the ability to choose any group.
or
3)If they choose a class they must choose a group as well.
if they dont i want a message to pop up and say 'Must select corresponding group...'

LSO Portal - Course Follow-up Warning Message in Portal

Hi Gurus
When i try to do the course follow-up in portal , i get a warning message after i complete the attendance & course assessment of the participants and when roadmap status is at completed , i get a warning message on top of the roadmap that "Your Course Follow-Up could not be saved". This happens in the LSO portal from administrators role.
We have setup the right control options at course type level.
Please help with your inputs.

I have checked the master data and found that everything is fine.
When i try to follow up from R/3 , i get a error message in the last step of follow up activity as "Error While data was intserted in the database".
Strangely this happens for the course which got over on 12-Aug-10 , but the same course which was on 13-Aug-10 , we were able to follow up the course from the portal without any errors.
I have checked the relationships , schedules, correspondence infotype etc , all the data items are maintained identical and all the participants are active in the system.
Am i missing something here.

Remove all of these items in the following order:
iTunes
Apple Software Update
Apple Mobile Device Support (if this won't uninstall move on to the next item)
Bonjour
Apple Application Support
Reboot, download iTunes, then reinstall, either using an account with administrative rights, or right-clicking the downloaded installer and selecting Run as Administrator.
The uninstall and reinstall process will preserve your iTunes library and settings, but ideally you would back up the library and your other important personal documents and data on a regular basis. See this user tip for a suggested technique.
Please note:
Some users may need to follow all the steps in whichever of the following support documents applies to their system. These include some additional manual file and folder deletions not mentioned above.
