In addition you cna try these steps :

> Disable all Non-Microsoft Startup Services. (Ref : http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/global/disable-startup-items-services-windows.html )
> Disable all the Antivirus softwares like CA, Norton,Mc Afee etc. temporarily from the computer.
Reboot and try installing in the new enabled Admin user account and check.

When I upgraded iphone to ios 5 and all of my pics and videos are gone. I remember doing the upgrade through iTunes. I've looked in iPhoto and iTunes. Does anyone have any sugesstions of how I can get my pictures back?
For some reason, did you fail to use the iPhone as intended? Meaning copying the pictures and videos off the device regularly so that in the event the device is lost/stolen or simply fails, copies would exist on your computer?
You can try restoring from the backup created prior to the update, but it is strongly recommended that pictures/videos be copied off the device on a regular basis. Then any pics/vids that the user desires to keep on the device can be synced back via iTunes. -
How can I transfer video taken with my iPhone to my iPad WITHOUT using a computer or iTunes? I'm going to Europe for a month and want to use my iPhone to take pics and video, then come back to the hotel room and use my iPad to edit/store each evening. I don't want to use my iPad to take the video...too large/bulky. And I WON'T have a computer with me...I purchased the iPad to take with me so I could use the RDC to my home computer and avoid taking my computer at all. Is this possible?
here is a cheaper solution than camera kit and a lot easier if you have WIFI available.
I use the PhotoSync APP (I think its a $1.99) will transfer videos and photos over WIFI to any other IOS device or even PC/MAC. Great app since I like doing video and photos on my IPHONE and transfer to IPAD2 without synching through computer or doing cloud based storage.
You can even send photos/videos from your MAC/PC to your IOS devices that way too. Makes it so much easier.

I have been on the phone for Apple since 5:30 Eastern Time today. We are still on the phone with them. It is 10:14 PM. We are going to get a new phone because the ios6 has major problems! The wifi connectivity is a serious problem. Apple is aware of it. More people need to do something about it. I am willing to start a class action suit against them. I have means to an attorney pro bono. If you are having problems using your iphone 4 or 4s with wifi and ios6...I suggest you spend time calling a senior advisor and get a new phone sent to you. They know they messed up but they can't fix it. -

I have test in my own environment and can normally map the network driver when logon as Microsoft account.
Do you check the option Reconnect at logon?
If you use Connect using different credentials, do you check the option Remenber my credentials?

I just got a new replacement Iphone 4s and am trying to back up my IPhone 4s from Icloud and it still says that it is restoring the phone. The issue is that its taken a total of maybe 6 hours and all my apps have been downloaded, all photos have been restored, all settings and contacts restored, all itunes music and videos have been restored. Question is, it still says that the phone is restoring, so what exactly is it still restoring??
That is ironic, but apparently Apple server is "locked" for restore process for three days. During that time it may say it is restoring even past the actual restore time. I have seen where someone successfully stopped that process, by changing apple id password, and where that didn't help to stop process. But 3 days from restore start, that should time out.
Credit goes to Randers, he is the one who gave that info about three days, but I was also able to verify that myself. -
When I plug my iPod classic (only three months old) into iTunes, it doesn't show up as a device on iTunes. I plugged it in to update last nightm, but all my music was erased and now it isn't even recognized. The iPod itself shows it being connected, but nothing on iTunes. Any ideas would be appreciated. eta2359

All pics and videos stored on previous Blackberry deskmanager disappeared after I accept updates
I would really appreciate any advice - When I was access my media manager on my blackberry desktop manager I was prompted to accept updates which I did - It seems to have uploaded a whole new blackberry desktop and I have lost all the pics and vids I stored on previous - Such a freak out as over 3 years worth of travel and family pics and vids stored in my blackberry desktop manager

Go to Solution.Anything sync'd through your BDS is stored in a folder somewhere...usually My Documents >My Pictures >BlackBerry (or My Videos >BlackBerry). It just depends on the path you specified for the folder when you set up the picture sync.

I sync'd it yesterday and today, then when updating it today its restored to factory settings and all apps, photos and texts have gone. looked in the i tunes library and in windows explorer (tells me last sync was 3 months ago!) to no avail. now when i try to restore it on itunes a box appears with there was an interruption with restore then a new box with the message restore error. any help greatly appreciated

There was if you used any of the backup strategies you listed in your first sentence. iTunes functions as the backup software for your iOS device. MobileMe similarly aacts as a backup if you need to restore your phone.
Since you chose to work without a safety net, it would seem you have lost all the contacts. That was a risk level you were comfortable enough with. The important take away here is that all computers need to be backed up. And there is more computer in your iPhone than the computers that flew a space ship to the moon. -
I reset my ipad before without thinking- as the idiot that i am and lost all the videos and photos from our Xmas Disney trip. How would I know if it was backed to icloud if I manually didnt do it.....

I recently had to swap out my iphone 4s and I am having problems restoring photos and videos from icloud. When I restored my phone from icloud, half of my pics and videos have been deleted, the pics that were restored on my phone are very blurry, and the videos won't play. I get a message on my phone that says " the URL you are requesting is not found on this server". I have erased and reset my phone twice, but every time I do it, more pics and videos are deleted. I have backed up to icloud and iphoto, however, some of the pics are no longer on iphoto either. Is there someway to get the videos to play on my phone again? Make the photos not as blurry as they are now and to restore the pics and videos that have been lost? I really would love to have them back, this phone is supposed to be the best and right now it doesn't seem to be. Please help if you can.
I too have noticed that once i restored from iCloud. Pictures blurry and videos wont play!

I have had to update my iphone 4 in itunes and it has now come up with a message, itunes has found a iphone in recovery and needs to restore it.

Please help!!Reset, hold both home and power buttons until the iPhone begins to start, try this a few times if necessary. If still problem, you may have to just Restore your iPhone to get it working. In the future sync your iPhone with iTunes routinely and when it contains important data, iCloud when set correctly will do this for you continuously.
