For some reason, my iphone wont play music,
when i hook it up to anything, or just try to play it regularly. Can anyone help?
You cannot go back to 7.0.4. But you can restore the backup.

Hi. For some reason my iPhones sound for all ring tone, lock, music loudspeaker has become very foamy and can hardly hear it. Both speakers are still working however just at low sound. In settings volume is turned up and bottons on the side are fully up.?
maybe there are dirt, sand and lint in the speaker output grill ?

For some reason my iPad wont charge at all I'm using the same charger I use on my other iPad n it still won't work
Try giving it a reset. Hold down the sleep and home keys, past when you see the red power down slider and until you see the silver apple. Let it reboot and try again.
But if that charger works just fine with your other iPad and not this one, I'd call up your local apple store and make an appointment so they can look at it. Usually when an iPad wont' charge (when plugged into the wall with its supplied charger) it's
Bad outlet
bad power brick
bad cable
and if the charger is working with another iPad then that rules that out and the thing left is something wrong with the 30 pin port on the iPad, or perhaps something with the battery or software that monitors the battery. ANd things like that are beyond a user fix.
On the upside if the device is still under warranty - and barring any obvious signs of abuse or neglect - then it should be covered under the warranty. -
I use imovie 08 and know I'm way behind but it always worked just fine for me. For some reason I lost all my music & sound effects. Can anyone help me regain it back?

The video and sound was working on my computer two days ago (and has ALWAYS worked on my computer since purchasing it in 2010) but now for some reason I can't play video and there is no sound. I updated software today. Still sound & video not working.
Please help.One of the following steps should help.
1. Install Adobe Flash Player.

3. Check whether you are currently in YouTube HTML 5 trial.

"You are currently in the HTML5 trial".
4. Reset Safari.

From the drop down select "Reset Safari".
Uncheck the boxes next to all items.

5. Turn off Extensions/Plug-ins if any that may interfere with Flash working properly.

You seem to have a lot of #fff codes in the CSS files that obviously aren't found with the long #ffffff search term (#fff finds them)

I have downloaded all of the recent upgrades for both Itunes and Iphone. Now for some reason, not all of my songs in my playlists are transferring when I sync. Previously I have had the songs in the playlists on my phone, but now some of them are not there although they are listed and show in Itunes. Any ideas?
iTunes will only copy back iTunes purchased music. If you don't still have a copy of the music that you copied from CDs or bought from other stores anywhere (e.g. on another computer or on your backup of your library) then there are some third-party programs listed half-way this page which should be able to copy them back : Recover your iTunes library from your iPod or iOS device.

I resently got an ipad and for some reason most songs dont play.
I got an ipad for christmas and i love it but for some reason i cant play all my songs. i can play 2-3 out of like 200 or something. i have tryed everything i know to and i figure ill ask online b4 going to a store. Also everytime i select one it shuffles and plays the same song. Its driving me crazyyyyy!!!1
Have you tried quitting the Music App completely and then reboot the iPad?
Go to the home screen first by tapping the home button. Double tap the home button and the task bar will appear with all of your recent/open apps displayed at the bottom. Tap and hold down on any app icon until it begins to wiggle. Tap the minus sign in the upper left corner of the app that you want to close. Tap the home button or anywhere above the task bar.
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.
If this is synced music - You can also try unsyncing the music and then sync it back to the iPad and see if that helps. -

Help! I updated iTunes on my windows 7 laptop and I updated my iOS on my iphone4 and I used a USB to plug it into my computer but it doesn't have the "iPhone"" icon appear in the corner of the screen. Years and years ago when I paid for an email address with mac.com I opened my itunes account and all. After getting tired of paying for an email account I made a new one, which I can't remember but I thought I changed it, but obviously the .mac stayed on. My itunes is a gmail account and I have no problems there. But today when I updated my iphone, after downloading, iphone asked me to enter password for the .mac account. Well I have no idea what that is now. I don't know how to even retrieve it. I can't find the settings to change it over to my gmail account either on my phone. I go to itunes and it has the gmail account listed, but when trying to activate some things that involved the update, it still asks for .mac account password. I'm beginning to think this is why I can't get authorization on some of my itune songs to play, they keep saying can't authorize when I am still within the 5 computer limit. I think I'm going to get a Droid...

If you are seeing the old Apple ID with regard to this Mac, then it would seem that somehow you have incorporated the ID in the setup of this new Mac.
Iphoto i use never used imovie.
If you began using iPhoto without having Accepted it into your Apple ID, then that would explain why you are unable to update the app. If any of the iLife apps are used without Accepting them into your Apple ID, the ability to accept them will lapse and you will not be able to update them. -
Looking for some info on how to play music files on IPAD2
Hi and thanks for sharing. Trying to figure out how to play sound files such as wavs or mp3s on my ipad2 while I browse the internet or use my computer. I was trying to see if the music feature will play my songs or if I can import downloaded files from the net to itunes and if that will play in the background. I have an audio program that can send sound files to email and was trying to figure out how, similarly, to get this play in the background while I do things too. That and sound files downloaded from the internet. Do these go to iCloud when you download them? Can I import sounds into itunes with my iPad someway. (It's the only computer or device I own). Basically looking for a pathway to get music from my audio program that's sent to email, and clips I've DLed off sites on the internet, to play while I use the pad or browse the net. The only way to get content into the Music app is via iTunes store downloads or syncing with itunes on a computer. You will need to find a third party media player such as VLC (whick integrates with DropBox and GoogleDrive, if that appeals to you).

it seems that your ipod/iphone may have water damage. take it to a shop for a diagnostic. It may be a permanent issue I dont believe brushing off any dust will fix this, sorry.
