Form button does not spawn email
I thought adding an email button to a PDF using Live Cycle 8 would be simple since it always wants to do this.
Made the changes to a standard button using Submit and the PDF checkbox so the completed form gets sent.
Applied user rights in Reader via Adobe Pro 8. On some machines the process works perfectly.
On others, no message spawns. One particular PC has Office 2K7 with Reader 9 and it will only create the message if Outlook is shut down before pressing the button. Any ideas?
It may likely be the use of e-mail submission. E-mail submission puts you at the mercy of the client machine (as you have seen). Generally, Acrobat and Reader require a MAPI client that can be used to send e-mail. Your comment about Outlook is strange, but nothing surprises me when MS is involved. You should really look into web submission if you want this to be reliable. It sounds like you are only dealing with a limited number of folks and so solving it on each machine might work, but it is not a good practice for general use.
You do not need to activate Reader Rights unless you want the user to be able to save the PDF with the form fields intact. That puts you under the restrictions of the EULA (550 uses or so). Submitting only the data (that you can still import to the form) is not limited by the EULA.

Hi,
I have a few Excel programs which use the ODBC to get data from Access and which have macros which writes data to an external program, MYOB.
When the macros tries to write the data to MYOB it fails if I am not running the program in administrator mode. It seems that Windows 8.2 has a different level of security than Windows 7 and must be run in administrator mode for the ODBC to work.
I have had issues after running the program in administrator mode (testing) if I simply do a save (in administrator mode) and then send it to the customer. The issue is that it just will not work on the customer's site. I have gotten
around this in the past by saving any changes, going back out of excel, loading the program again (not in administrator mode) and saving it - before sending it to the customer. This worked until now.
For some unknown reason, the last time I sent a program to the customer and carried out the above process, the program stopped working. Originally I thought that the macro just wouldn't work on windows 7, but eventually found that it is the form button
that will no longer work when the program is moved from 8.2 to 7.
Does anyone know why there is an incompatibility between 8.2 and Windows 7 and what I should be doing to ensure that my programs work in my customers environment(windows7)?
In the meanwhile, I have changed the form button to an activex button and the program works fine in both environments.

try to
Close Excel
Start Windows Explorer.
Select your system drive (usually C:)
Use the Search box to search for *.exd
Delete all the files it finds.
Start Excel again
Open that file and save it, and try open at Windows 7

My "Remember" button doesn't work. Simple as that. The "Not Now"

I read the Troubleshooting extensions & Themes, but It didn't help.
When I tried to read "http://kb.mozillazine.org/Password_Manager" I get a page that says:

Also, this error occurs in ALL 3rd Party extensions. It can't log me into E-Mail accounts, Facebook, Twitter, anything. The error message has a window title of [JAVASCRIPT APPLICATION] if that says anything. -

We have added a custom notification to the OM workflow process. The notification itself has a form attribute which provides a link to the sales order form. This works fine when notification is viewed via worklist - notifications within apps. The link does not appear in the email notification.
Is there any alternate way to provide a form link to Oracle Applications form that can be accessed via email (after logging into application, if the user is not logged in).
ThanksSimilar functionality is available in PO and Req Approval process. Can you take a look at the PO Approval Process workflow? I remember the email notification does show the link, which is a URL link and has parameters in it. This functonality provides where the approvers need to modify the document which is requested to be approved. So they can click on the link, modify and close and approve if necessary.
Are you expecting them to modify the same or you just want to show query only screen?
There is a webpage available to see order information called Order Information (user Order Information User resp). You can send parameters to that webpage and that should show login page opening up a seperate session with all the parameters in the URL. Once logged in that should show order information.

The "edit" button does not pop up next to my Apple ID and Primary Email Address. I want to change my address because its an old @mac.com address and I want to update it with my @gmail.com. I'm guessing this is an apple support question, but I would like to just get it fixed.

It seems that for SOME folks it takes contact with a live person at Apple - can't explain why though. One person replied that after contacting Apple, they were instructed to email [email protected] with old and new. I never heard back if that was successful or not - just that the email was instructed.

Open Task Button does not come in Outlook
I have a three level approval workflow in which each level an email is generated to the approve to approve or reject.
But suddenly the Open Task Button does not pop up in Outlook 2010 anymore can you tell me why?
Srinivasan Kidambihad the same issue with External users not using Outlook. This is how I fixed it:
Open the task list that the workflow is using and connect it to Outlook. Then kick off a workflow to make a new task. Once the task is made open the task from Outlook. The bottom options (review, perform the specific req. for the task, and Open this task)
are now links. Hover your mouse over the link and you will see the address.
Now open SPD, connect to your site and open the work flow assc. to the doc lib.
Start editing the workflow and click the "Approval" link
Click "Change the behavior of a single task"
You are going to have to look for all the instances of "then e-mail task notification to "Current Task:Assigned to"
Open "Current Task:Assigned to"
Click where you want he link to go and hit the Hyperlink button
name the link whatever you want, then hit the string builder ("..." button)
Copy the link from the Task in Outlook into the string builder (if you use External addressing you can also hard code the External address).
At the very end of the link where is says ID=(then a number) delete the number and DO NOT put a space. Click the Add or Change Lookup button and use "Current Task: Approval" "ID" "As String" and click ok. Should like this:
Now this will not pop the form up, but it will send the user straight to the task form (might have to enter username and password) for the correct task. Remember to do this to all the "Current Task:Assigned to" in the workflow. It sounds like a chuck of
work but it does not really take thaty long on the OOTB Approval workflow.

My problem is simply that Mail does not send email.
I have just migrated from iMac G5 to iMac Intel by using Migration Assistant. Everything else works just fine and I can receive email. However, if I try to reply, forward or send a new email message, Mail just does not do anything - no error message, nothing.
The fixes I have tried so far are removing the Mail plist file, repairing disk permissions and mailboxes. Of course, I have checked the account settings, especially outgoing server settings. I also reinstalled Mail application with Pacifist. None of this has solved the problem. I have tried sending email with Thunderbird and it works with no problems.
Does anybody have any suggestions how to fix this issue?
The OS is 10.4.8, Mail Version 2.0.6 (749.2/752.3), all the suggested software updates done.

It certainly cannot fix anything that could be wrong within your home folder or at the server or with the network, and may even introduce new issues if not done properly. Moreover, in Mac OS X 10.4 you don’t need Pacifist to reinstall Mail, you could also do it as described in the following article:

The above won’t solve the problem. It’s just to ensure that you’ve properly reinstalled Mail, which you shouldn’t have done, and which apparently you didn’t do properly -- the version of Mail on your system should be 2.1.1, not 2.0.6.

Form SYSTEM does not exist "Message no. TD 705"

When I go to transaction FB03 for any document. Drill down on a line item. Click on pencil to change the line item. Click on long text button. Click on the editor icon. Message received "Form SYSTEM does not exist". The display is in SAPscript editor. I am unable to change to the Word editor using menu Goto > Change Editor. Message "Form SYSTEM does not exist" appears as the message.
Any idea what the message "form system does not exist" and how can this be corrected?

I customized a WebHelp Pro skin using the Omega skin as the basis. Everything works fine except the Print button, which I added using the same Action as shown in the BeautifulVista skin's Print button.
Local Version (C: drive)
When I generate my help project and view it locally from my C: drive after I accept the warning about viewing locally, I see the Print button.
However, it does NOT work. I've attached a graphic that shows the local version and the skin dialog where I set up the action for the Print button.
RH Server 8 version
When I view the same project after I publish it to the server, the Print button does NOT display.
QUESTIONS ARE:
How do I get the Print button to function properly (active printer dialog)?
If it can't work until it is published that fine but then how do I get it display when I view from server?Hi there

Sometimes JavaFX form (BorderPane) does not show correctly
We have a problem with a JavaFX application running on Java 7. Sometimes a form (BorderPane) does not show correctly – it seems to be transparent (i.e. content previously shown at the same place is still visible). Controls seem to be present and respond to events – e.g. we can close the form by blindly clicking the appropriate button. Once the issue happens it is persistent, i.e. next time we open the form, it behaves the same.
We have no reproducible scenario leading to the issue. It just happens here and there – we have not been able to identify any pattern yet.
Additional information:
the form (BorderPane) is loaded during application start-up but it is not shown initially,
to show the form we remove previous contents from a StackPane and add the form instead,
to hide the form we do the reverse.
Do you have any ideas how to diagnose the problem? Where to look first? What kind of diagnostic code could we put in the application that would help us?I am unaware of any such issue being reported previously.
Without a reproducible test case, you are unlikely to get much assistance.
Other than the creation of a minimal test case which reproduces the issue, I could not even advise how you might go about diagnosing and fixing your issue.
There were many bug fixes implemented for Java 8.
I advise you to upgrade your test environment to the latest Java early access release (currently Java 8u40) and test to verify if your issue replicates in that version.
If the issue still reproduces, create a bug report which includes your test case and full environment details. -
Versamail does not hotsync email using MS Exchange on XP 64 bit
Hotsync Manager 7.0.2 does not sync email Outlook 2007 Inbox using Bluetooth sync with Versamail 3.5 Reinstall seem successful, but InstallShield does not close after sync. I have to kill with Task Manager. Error message 1628: Failed to complete installation. tried using XP compatability mode for install, but it didn't work. Using Program Remove Versamail does not uninstall. I had to do it several times and then it finally was removed from program list.

In my desktop I am using an ATI XFX 6950, latest revision drivers (I am not at home right now so I cant get that info).
The issue I did describe above, but it was a long explanation.
In some flash games the game files load initially and get as far as the "click to start" button. Then the flash area usually goes either all white or all black (usually depending on the falsh game default background color) and then it stays that color. Cant see anything after hitting start (usually most games have an intro video or animation before the game starts, but I cant see any of it.
For the very few games that do start, the flash game or application does not seem to work correctly in that when the rare game starts, it wont save any game files or save files to the pc and so if I exit the game (navigate away to another page or close browser) and then later come back, even though I click the option to save games (and ensure that the flash application slider shows it can save files and lots of space) it does not save and I have to start from the beginning all the time.

Neglect the reset and when it says place the iPod in recovery mode use one of thes programs
- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try on another computer
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

Sounds like you are a bit confused with version numbers.
Latest AirPort Utility version for the iPhone / iPad is 1.3.3. There is no option or capability to export/import settings on the iOS version(s) of AirPort Utility.....although you could take a series of screen shots and save them for future reference.
AirPort Utility 6.3.x is found on a Mac.....not on iPhone / iPad. Export and Import options are found under the File menu in 6.3.x. -
View Paycheck Stub Error: (Form xyz does not exist)

I am running EP 6.0 SP 13. My SAP target is ECC 5.0.
I have a problem in the ESS application. When I attempt to view the paycheck stub for any employee, the portal returns the error:

Form ZCHK is our custom paystub form.

To move the iTunes library to this new computer I switched on Home Sharing and can see the other libraries on my home network. If I select tracks from a Shared library I can't import them as the strip containing "Show: All Items" and the "Settings" and "Import" buttons, does not display at the bottom of the screen. Goes straight from the list of tracks to the strip with Playlist icons and xxxx items, tttttt total time, yyyy GB.
Any suggestions for making the Import button appear?I hvae the EXACT same issue
I built a new computer which is EXTREMELY fast overclocked i7 ect and.. ITUNES DOESNT WORK
I click on itunes which ive uninstalled and reinstalled and reset the winsock AND seen if there were any errors AAAAAAND ive check the Hkey to make sure bonjur was the only one in there which it is and all that happens is my cpu goes to 25% and i cant do anything except go into the task manager and close it! ANYTHING with itunes (everything else is premium speed).
