Form filled on mac OS must to sent from a PC

I filled out a government form on a mac OS, I just found out it must be sent using a PC. can I save it on a chip and upload it to a PC? I really have no idea what I'm doing,

It's a goverment form.
I'm afraid I'll have to do it all over at my office's PC. I saved it for windows and put it on a memory chip. I was going to reinstall Parallels but after trying---
it seemed better to go in the my office after hours.

External hard drive formatted for Mac, but must access files from PC ASAP!

I have a 20G Firefly Smartdisk that is formatted to work with my MacBook (in OSX). The drive contains the only copy of a final paper I have due in just a couple days, and unfortunately, it got left behind at a friend's house 9 hours away. My friend has a PC (running on Windows Vista) and when he plugs the drive into his computer, the computer recognizes the disk but is unable to access any of the files on it. It pops up with a marker detecting it as unreadable and asks if he wants to reformat (which he can't do because I need the files that are currently on the disk.) He says the file type is listed as RAW and it says used space - 0G free space - 0G. Does anyone know of a way to fix this and allow him to access the files? (I'm a recent convert to Mac, and I know when I plugged the disk into my Macbook when it was still formatted for Windows, I was at least able to see the files in read only format, but that does not appear to work in reverse!) Could he possibly have corrupted the disk by trying to access it from his computer?

Macdrive (per Templeton's post) should work. All I have to add is that the free/eval version has a 5 days timeout, so he should be able to use it to get your file -- I was experimenting with it just today for a GUID/GPT formatted USB disk. (OT, but related: XP+sp2 was able to recognize, read/write the FAT32 formatted partition on a GPT disk - preMacdrive - which came as a bit of a surprise).

Types of messages that can be sent from notebook to Blackberry?

Just had a user ask this question - what types of messages can he send (eg - SMS, PIN, BlackBerry Messenger) from his laptop to BlackBerry's?

Correct. You can only send PIN and BBMessenger messages from the BlackBerry.

PDF Form Filler

Has anyone used the App - PDF Form Filler and Sign? If so, pros & Cons

actually the site uses flash to present the form for filling. i tried building such a form using flash but its too complicated, im sure there is a much easier way.
say i create a editable form using Acrobat Pro, how would i go about embedding it into the webpage ? and allowing for it to be printed but not saved (the flash solution wrapps the form in a flash file therefor not allowing for a user to save it as a PDF file.
is there a way to do this ?

Acrobat X Form Filler

In using form filler is there a way I can make a universal change to the font and have all fonts at Times Roman 11 pt? Can I use a carriage return to widen the box? Is form filler available on Acrobat 9?

OK, let's try to get some terminology fixed. You have a document that you have created as a PDF that looks like a form (it is not a form in the PDF sense). You are now trying to create form fields that can be filled in that gives you a form PDF. The first question is which product are you using to create the form, Acrobat or Designer? If you do not get transferred to Designer from Acrobat and get a forms tool in Acrobat you are creating an AcroForm.
You can right click on a text field and select to edit the properites. It is common to leave the text to be automatic in size. However, you can set the font if you wish. I think you can select several fields and do the property change to all at the same time, but am not sure. Instructions for forms are in the manual (see the help menu). There are also license restrictions for allowing saving of the form for Reader and also considerations for using e-mail submission of the form data (both does the Reader and e-mail of a user communicate properly and be careful about private datta being sent by e-mail). Good luck.

With this new v.31.1.0, released: September 2, 2014 version of Thunderbird, I can no longer e-mail to a Contact List of addressees, getting the error msg: F&G Committee <"F&G Committee"> is not a valid e-mail address because it is not of the form user@host. What is your favourite web form filler extension for Firefox? Autoform is nice but it has been abandoned. Autofill is not nearly as feature-complete. RoboForm is too fancy.
Anything else out there? Filling web forms is so boring!

You are welcome. I'm glad you got it back up.
(1) You say you did the symbolic link. I will assume this is set correctly; it's very important that it is.
(2) I don't know what you mean by "Been feeding the [email protected] for several weeks now, 700 emails each day at least." After the initial training period, SpamAssassin doesn't learn from mail it has already processed correctly. At this point, you only need to teach SpamAssassin when it is wrong. [email protected] should only be getting spam that is being passed as clean. Likewise, [email protected] should only be getting legitimate mail that is being flagged as junk. You are redirecting mail to both [email protected] and [email protected] ... right? SpamAssassin needs both.
(3) Next, as I said before, you need to implement those "Frontline spam defense for Mac OS X Server." Once you have that done and issue "postfix reload" you can look at your SMTP log in Server Admin and watch as Postfix blocks one piece of junk mail after another. It's kind of cool.
(4) Add some SARE rules:

The automatic form filling does not appear to be working

You have or had an extension installed (MegaUpload toolbar) that has changed the user agent from Firefox/3.6.4 to Firefox/2.0.0.4.
You can see the Firefox version at the top and the user agent at bottom of the "Help > About" window (Mac: Firefox > About Mozilla Firefox).
You can check the '''general.useragent''' prefs on the '''about:config''' page.
You can open the ''about:config'' page via the location bar, just like you open a website.
Filter: '''general.useragent'''
If ''general.useragent'' prefs are bold (user set) then you can right-click that pref and choose ''Reset''.

Save adobe form fill, send & update SAP

Hi Experts,
I am new to interactive Adobe form, so need to clarify few things regarding the development of it:-
1. Suppose i have a interactive form with a dropdown for designation. I sent to the vendor through using SAP mails. Can he see the dropdown list there in the attached PDF file??
2. If, then after filling the form with those values he will send it through his email. Now, how to upload that form data(like address) in SAP?
3. Suppose he saved the form, filled it and send us after a month. In between the designation table got modified. The designation he seleted no longer exist. Then how will it work?? where will be the validations for this?
can anyone give me the live scenario??

2. First you can import that PDF file into your form layout then
You can connect the form with OLEDB data connection after that, drag and drop the button in the layout, and you can rename that button "UPDATE"
Select that button then select CLICK event and script as JavaScript and write the following code in that
xfa.sourceSet.DataConnection.update();
the contents will update in the sap table

Form filled PDF's

I have a form filled pdf loaded to acrobat.com account, I am using it to access that document from my ipad using the adobe reader app. Once I open the document from the ipad is there a way to save it as a new document so the original form remains empty for the next use?

Currently, Adobe Reader for iOS does not provide the "Save a Copy" option. So there is no straightforward way to do what you described.
As a workaround, you could:
(a) Make a copy before filling out a PDF form
Transfer the original blank PDF form to your iPad/iPhone via iTunes, Mail, etc. and save it locally so that it appears in the Document section of the Reader home screen.
In the Documents section of the Reader home screen, tap the Edit button in the upper right corner.
Select the original blank PDF form.
Tap the following icon in the bottom toolbar.
Select Duplicate. Please note that the Duplicate option is available only for the files stored locally on your iPad/iPhone, not for the files stored on Acrobat.com (cloud storage).
Fill out the new PDF form.
Optionally, save it to Acrobat.com.
(b) Add a Reset button to the PDF form
If you have Acrobat Pro (not Adobe Reader) on a Mac or Windows computer, you can add a Reset button to your PDF form.

Then, you can tap the Reset button to clear old form data before you start filling out the PDF form.

Multiple form fill-ed's open at one time - crashing

I have many form fill-ed documents created using Live Cycle. Issues have been reported regarding adobe shutting down in the middle of filling out a form. Tow of our employees have this crashing issue. They both have Windows 7; Adobe Reader XI, and IE X. I have trouble shooted several different options. I have used the acrobat_ittools_cleaner to remove old acrobat (recommended by acrobat).
I had the Two employees use one form fill at a time to determine the cause of the crashing. If they use only ONE form at a time, there is not crashing. The minute they open two forms, and start to fill in the form, it crashes.
These forms are not new, They worked fine with mulitple forms open in the past. I created these forms in Live Cycle (which came with Acrobat Pro 9). I figured with the added security in Acrobat XI, I needed to update the forms using Live Cycle Designer ES4. That did not help either.
What else can I do to correct this problem?

</script>is the correct script if you escape COMPLETE as 'COMPLETE' and CANCELED as 'CANCELED'. The same rules apply for javascript as for the most other programming languagas - numbers do not need to be escaped but character strings do.
The second thing is the question of your tabular form id. In my case it was f03 but in your case it is probably different. If you created a wizard tabular form and didn't touch it, you could count the columns.
If your column is the first editable column than it will be f03. The second will be f04 and so on. My recomendation is to use Firefox and download the extension Firebug. With firebug you can do HTML > Inspect and go with the mouse over any element on your page. Click on the actual tabular form cell and it will show you some code like this:

If you made a full catalog backup using the organizer's backup command, and you did it to a removable drive, yes, you can restore it to the mac. A backup made on discs will not work, though.

You already have got OS X Mavericks installed (the Keynote, Pages and Numbers versions available in the Mac App Store are only compatible with OS X Mavericks).
You have got a Late 2013 MacBook Pro, which uses a special OS X Mavericks version that is not available in the Mac App Store. This is the reason why the Mac App Store is not compatible with OS X Mavericks even if you are using it. This will be fixed in OS X 10.9.1, when your Mac uses the same Mavericks version as all other Macs.
Until then, you can reinstall OS X through OS X Recovery > http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4718
