Form Template Selection

Hi,
Working on the Outgoing check form template. Tested looks fine in Test system. But When I tried the same template in the production it shows no template available for outgoing checks.
Even it did not allow to edit output settings options where can choose any other template.
For some reasons it doesn't show the form template for outgoing check at all even though Form template selection setup correctly.
Any idea why Payment Management - Payment monitor not showing the any template available for outgoing checks.
Thanks in advance.

Hi Vir,
Is this adobe form template If yes,
-go to WorkCenter "Application and user Management"->Utilities and look for the form template in the Form's OWL (I don't remember the subview name for the OWL). If you do not find any relevant active template, check active or deleted section.
If you delete the current active custom template, then it should automatically be replaced by SAP's default template for that use case , if any.
Let me know if this helped.

Damandeep

    You can download the PDF that you are wanting to look at. In safari if there is a link to a pdf you can usually Control Click or Right Click and select to save it to the desktop. From there, you can open the PDF with Acrobat.
    If i'm not mistaken, though, PDF's will default to Apple Preview, so if you want PDFs to open with Acrobat by default, you can set it that way by highlighting a PDF then hitting (Apple) I. In the Info pane, expand the "Open With" field, set the program to Acrobat, then tell it to Change All if you want all PDFs to default to Acrobat.
    Hopefully that will help!

  • Using data from a spreadsheet, how can I create multiple completed PDFs from a form template?

    Note that I am completely new to adobe acrobat.
    I have a form template for a completion certificate for students who take a summer workshop where I'm working. It includes data such as their name and the program they completed. I have all the necessary information for each student in an excel spread sheet. Rather than sit here and enter data into the form 300+ times, I want to automate the process. I'd like to be able to specify the spread sheet and either have acrobat just print out all 300, or save them as seperate files so I can print them easily.
    Thanks for the help!

    Thanks for the response! I'd be interested in writing a script for it (I've actually been researching it a bit already). I'm completely new to Javascript (and scripting) but have a fair level of experience with c/c++ so I feel it shouldn't be too bad. I'll ask here for now, just let me know if I should ask a new question on the scripting forum instead.
    I've looked at the Acrobat JavaScript API Reference (http://www.adobe.com/content/dam/Adobe/en/devnet/acrobat/pdfs/js_api_reference.pdf) a bit but am having trouble finding a way to read the spreadsheet's data in (I was planning on using a csv file). I found Doc.importTextData(), which can parse a tab delimited file and from the sounds of it fill in the forms automatically (though I would much prefer a c style file interface that lets me write the parsing logic). Every time I try to call importTextData it returns -1 though, which means "Warning: User Canceled File Select". When I call it direct from the JavaScript Debug Console I just get a -1, but when I have it execute when I save I get "NotAllowedError: Security settings prevent access to this property or method.". I did a bit of research on that and modified my script to look like:
    Autofill = app.trustedFunction(
        function ()
            app.trustedFunction(importTextData);
            app.beginPriv();
            var result = this.importTextData("test.csv", 0);
            app.endPriv();
            return result;
    I've also tried running Acrobat as an administrator, but I still get the same error. I could just not be understanding privileges correctly.
    My overall plan was:
        for each row in the spreadsheet
            - read the row in from the file
            - fill out the fields in the PDF using the read data
            - save the file with a new file name.
    If there is a better method to do this, just let me know.
    Thanks again for your time!

  • Adobe Designer - Interactive form/template (visible but don't print messges

    Hello,
    I'm making a interactive form or template with Adobe Designer, in which I have one object field and a few text fields.
    What I need to do is add messages on those fields so the person using the interactive form/template can know what to input in each field and were the fields are since they don't have border or background. For example I need to have a message like this: "click here to add your logo" in the object field, those messages can't be printed since they are just instrucctions for the person using the form/template.
    I tried the Tooltip but since the fields can have border people won't know were the fields are and the Tooltip only works when you place the cursor on the field.
    Any suggestions?

    The input parameters you are seeing in a 'Web Dynpro like' form are more than likely input parameters to the process.  Process input parameters come from action input parameters  in process blocks and actions that are not mapped.  Given that, it sounds like you have not mapped all the input parameters for one or more of your actions in your process.  By default, GP provides the process initiator the ability to specify the values of these inputs when a process is started. To avoid this you can either,
    1. Map all the input parameters.
    2. Specify the process to start automatically under the 'Instantiation' tab for the process template.  By selecting this, input parameters are ignored and their default values used.
    3. Don't expose these parameters if they are not required or applicable to your process.  This can be done at the action or block level under the 'Parameters' tab.

    Create and save your Form in VS and then on the menu click (File) and select (Export Template).  That will bring up a the

  • Custom Page Form Template

    Hi,
    Does anyone know how to add a new page template to the Bpm Custom Form Wizard when creating a form by selecting Launch Task From Wizard in a Human task Activity?
    I have a custom template that I want to use in my Human Task UI and not the default one(Default and tabbed), I can add a template in a ViewController project in the file pagetemplate-metadata.xml within the META-INF folder but in a Bpm project I don't have it.
    Thanks

    Hi
    Before posting any question, please tell us which version of SOA/BPM are you using. This is very important, so that we can give you right direction.
    I am assuming (unfortunately) that you are on SOA 11g (not sure soa 11.3 or 11.34 or 11.5 or 11.5+FP or 11.6).
    Please refer the below Sales Order Quote Demo for Oracle BPM Process. It does use the Templates for the TaskForms generated based on Tasks (.tasks) in workflow. This uses the tabbed panes for each area of the order.

  • SAP Cloud For Customer : How to change the Logo or Image into the Standard Form Template

    Hi Experts,
    I have requirement to change the standard template format.
    I have copy standard template and edit using Adobe Life Cycle Designer to change the logo / image.
    After changed and upload modified template and change the output setting for print i can able to see the changes but logo / image can not display.
    Can anyone have idea how to solve this issue ?
    Can we change the template within cloud system?
    If Yes than How ?
    Regards,
    Mithun

    The following are the instructions (November 2014 version of SAP Cloud for Customer)
    Edit a Form Master Template
    Overview
    As an administrator, you can edit existing form master templates. These are used to define the header, footer, and logos used in form templates. Form master templates also contain an e-mail disclaimer that is appended to automatically generated e-mails sent to business partners when a document is output from the system.
    Procedure
    1. Go to Application and User Management or Administrator Business Flexibility Master Template Maintenance .
    2. In the Master Template Maintenance view, select Form Master Templates from the Show menu.
    3. Select the master template you want to edit and click Edit.
    4. On the Form Master Template tab, do the following:
    Under Header, click Upload and browse to find the file you want as logo. Adjust the size and alignment of the logo, as required. The file formats .gif, .bmp, .jpg, .png, and .tif are supported. The logo should not be larger than 40 mm width x 20 mm height. If you upload a graphic that is larger than 40 mm x 20 mm, it is resized automatically.Select the Header Divider checkbox if you want a graphical divider to appear on your form.Under Sender Address, enter your company’s address. The sender address is shown above the recipient's address in a letter.Under Footer, choose the number of footer columns you want to display. Enter the footer text exactly as you would like it to appear on the form. You can maintain up to 4 footer blocks with a maximum of 10 lines per footer.Note that the width of each footer block is equally divided over the available space. If a line of text in the footer is too long for the current font size, the system will automatically enter a line break. If this automatic line break does not meet your needs, you may need to enter the text after the line break as a separate line.To maintain multiple languages, you must first add the language from the Add menu and then maintain the texts in that language by selecting the language from the dropdown list.
    5. Click the refresh button to preview your changes. From the dropdown list under Preview, you can select a country. The preview is then displayed using the country-specific template, for example, some countries do not use sender addresses or have different paper sizes.
    6. On the E-Mail Disclaimer tab, you can enter a disclaimer or other company-specific legal information.
    This text is appended to the main text body of e-mails that are created when a document is output by the system. It is not possible to create separate language versions of this text; therefore if your company uses multiple communication languages, you should enter all language versions of the disclaimer here.
    7. Click Save and Close.
    Result
    If required, you can now assign the form master template to a company/org unit and/or output channel. For more information, see the Master Template Maintenance Quick Guide.
    Note that master templates can be activated and deactivated for each form template in the Form Template Maintenance view. For more information, see the Form Template Maintenance Quick Guide.

  • SP2010 and Infopath: Can't publish form, getting "An Administrator must approve this form template before it can be filled out"

    Hi everyone,
    I'm hoping that someone can shed some light on this issue that I'm having, publishing an InfoPath form to SharePoint 2010 sharepoint site. To start off, I am admin of the sharepoint site I'm publishing to, with full permissions; I am NOT a central administrator
    for sharepoint services though, that is our IT manager.
    I have designed a simple form, questions and text fields, a button at the bottom to submit, and in the Submit Options for the form I added some emails to whom the form will go to once submitted.
    I published the form the first time successfully, selecting:
    -Publish
    -To a SharePoint server with or without InfoPath Forms Services
    Selected the site where I am an admin on
    -Enable this form to be filled out by using a browser
    --Document library
    etc, next, next success, I got the URL for the form.
    Went through just fine, until I opened the URL for the form and realized that I left the option to display the form Menu which I didn't want displayed to users.
    I went back in InfoPath and removed these options from Form Options (Browser), tried to republish it, and at the "Enable this form to be filled out by using a browser", the first two options "Document Library" and "Site Content"
    are no longer selectable, greyed out, and instead I can only select "Administrator-approved form template (advanced)" option.
    What gives here? Why was I able to publish it the first time without any issue, but once I remove the option to show the menu in the browser, I can't republish it. This is such a huge pain and causing so must wasted time trying to find a solution. I have no
    code in the form, it's a simple form. I tried adding the menus back, and it's still giving me the same problem about admin-approved forms..
    About 6 months ago I designed another form for another sharpoint site, and I remember having run into this issue before but found a way to get around it, but I can't find that info anymore.
    Can someone shed some light on this please, I find this behavior so inconsistent..
    Thanks in advance!

    Hi Teredactle,
    Based on your description, I did a testing per the below:
    Create a blank form with InfoPath Designer, and add a Text Box and a submit button, the submit button send an email to a people.
    Publish the form to a new library in my SharePoint site.
    re-open the form via InfoPath Designer, and click File->Forms Options->Web browser, unselect some options
    Then re-publish the form. I re-published the form via the Quick Publish and Publish->SharePoint server, they all worked well.
    Whether you can use Quick Publish to publish the form.
    As I cannot reproduce your issue, I suggest you create a new form, and test again, compare the result.
    And test on another site, check whether this issue occurres on other sites.
    Best Regards,
    Wendy

  • Could not verify the form template on the target server + infopath 2010

    I am getting the could not verify the form template on the target server + infopath 2010
    warning in the infopath form.
    The design checker task pane I see a warning saying "Could not verify the form template on the specified server". I cannot find
    anywhere in msdn or google addressing this warning. Inspite of this warning i tried to quick publish the form, and then i get an error saying: "The form template has been published to the server but it can only be opened in the InfoPath Editor because it contains
    feature that are not compatible with web browsers, to fix this problem, click close and review the errors in the Design Checker task pane"
    Md. Tariq

    Hi Tariq,
    Please make sure:
    SharePoint Server Enterprise Site Collection features site collection feature has been activated.
    Go to Form Options > Compatibility > Select the Form type as Web Browser Form.
    Try to publish the form to the root site of the site collection as a content type.
    If the problem still persists, please check whether there is any binding issue or logical issue. If the problem still cannot be solved, could you please try to create a new form and see how it works?

  • This form template is not currently browser-enabled. It must either be republished as a browser-enabled form, or opened using Microsoft Office InfoPath 2007

    Hi,
    When I try to open a Infopath related file from Sharepoint, I am receiving the below error.
    This form template is not currently browser-enabled. It must either be republished as a browser-enabled form, or opened using Microsoft Office InfoPath 2007.
    Office Professional Plus 2010 and Infopath 2010 are installed in my Windows 7 Enterprise edition. Have executed ""C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office14\InfoPath.exe" /cache ClearAll" the command. But still getting the same error.
    It works in different machine. Repaired Office 2010 and Infopath.
    Please let me know if any solution available.
    Regards,
    Boopathi S

    Hi,
    You can try Amit Bajaj's method in another thread which has fixed the same problem for several users:
    Check if the default “Form Templates” option in appearing under “View all site contents” page. If it is not enabled by
    default, then you can follow this following steps.
     If "Office SharePoint Server Enterprise Site Features" is enabled but we don't see the default "Form Templates" on the "View
    all site contents" page, then you should use the following steps.
    Make sure they have backup of everything.
    Opened the site http://<your site url> in SharePoint Designer.
    Select the root URL and click FILE >> NEW >> SharePoint Content
    Choose Document Library >> Form Library
    Under options type the name as “FormServerTemplates” and it will create the content.
    Now right click on “FormServerTemplate” and open “Properties”
    On settings Tab change the name to “Form Templates” and uncheck the option “Use a template for new documents”
    Click OK
    Now you should see “Form Templates” on the view all site content page.
    You should be able to publish the InfoPath form with "Enable this form to be filled out by using a browser."

  • Create a dynamic form where selected text boxes appears, based on options chosen in a drop-down box

    HELP!!! Can anyone please provide some guidance on how to create a dynamic form where selected text boxes appears, based on options chosen in a drop-down box.
    I have a form which – based on the department that's selected from a drop-down box – will have different form fields/text boxes, etc, made available.
    Is this possible in LiveCycle, if so, can you please provide the script/info - as needed.
    Thanks,

    In the preOpen event of the second dropdown list you put something like (in formCalc):
    if (dropdown1 == 1) then
    $.clearItems()
    $.setItems("Year, 2 Year,  3 Year")
    elseif (dropdown1 == 2) then
    $.clearItems()
    $.setItems("3 Year,  4 Year")
    endif

  • The data source "....." referenced in the form template is not valid or cannot be found

    Greetings,
    I have an InfoPath 2013 form that uses an external data connection.  The data connection became corrupt (somehow, no one knows who changed what).  A user went in to InfoPath designer and created a new data connection and changed all references
    to use that new data connection.  Now the form cannot be published at all with the error
    "The data source "GetUserProfileByName" referenced in the form template is not valid or cannot be found"
    The new data source they created is GetUserProfileByName2 and changed all references.
    Of course, since it is broke, they asked me to see if I can find the issue.  I went through the form looking to see if they missed any references to the old data connection and can't find anything.
    Where is InfoPath storing the old data connection information and where can I remote it?  I looked in the manifest and don't see it there either.
    Any thoughts?
    Thank you!

    Hi Bob,
    There are many XML schema files for the data connection, I recommend to check if the references to the XML files have been changed to the new schema files in the manifest file.
    For example, if we create a data connection called GetUserProfileByName, then there will be one XML file and three XML schema files for the data connection.
    Please make sure that all the references are updated in the manifest file.
    Thanks,

  • How to add additional lines to the Order Form template?

    I purchased and installed Acrobat Pro 9 because of its ability to create forms and found the Order Form template is just perfect for what I need, why reinvent the wheel, right?   Except I found I can't figure out how to add additional object that duplicate what is already there.  I highlighted an entire row and tried to just copy and paste but the past function put the copied objects at the bottom of the form in what looks like a group, all out of order.  I tried looking in the online help for a possible key combination that would inset an additional row of objects but couldn't find any.
    Also the form doesn't move down and create a new page keeping all the other elements in line, it moves to the bottom of the current page and stops.   Thought the template was based on a table so I was going to insert additional rows thinking once it reached the bottom of the current page it would automatically break to a new page and continue, but it's not a table.  So my question is, how can I add duplicate object that match the Order Form templates Item, Description, etc. objects?  I've come to realize learning to use this product is not going to be as simple a proposition as I was lead to believe.  O well, live and learn!
    If someone can point me in the right direction, any help is greatly appreciated.
    Tony Rodriguez

    Thanks, Barney! It's even easier than the solution I came to: copying and pasting into the field.

  • Apex 3.2 Tabular form - dynamic selection based on prev selection

    Hi guys,
    I am using apex 3.2. I am having difficulty in setting up a tabular form which provides an option to record information in other columns based on a value selected in the drop down. Here is an example
    I have a table product. All the products are added using a tabular form by selecting type from a drop down list.
    This allows the user to add multiple products without having to press save each time.
    e.g.
    product | type
    monopoly | game
    vase | home
    coffee | food
    cards | game
    Depending on the product type, I want the user to be able to multi-select other options using checkboxes based on the option selected.
    So for example if they add a product of type food, it should give additional options like beverage, cereal etc. If they select game, then they should get other options like for age_groups 10-12; 12-16; 18 and over;
    Is it posisble to do this on a tabular form in apex 3.2?
    If yes, please can someone help.
    Thanks

  • How to create a Custom form Template..

    Hi Eperts,
    I would like to seek a help from you regarding creating a custom form template on custom BO. could you guide me where i have gone wrong in successfully creating a Print form. I am in dead need of this particular solution for a client. It is hampering my entire scenario......
    1. I had created a Custom BO and I am trying to preview the created form on the OIF screen.
    2. I had created a form on above of the custom BO. This created form and form group is activated and configured as of needed by opening it through ALD (Adobe Life Cycle Designer).
    3. I had created a BAC element with some scoping questions and activated it. After activating it i had deployed the Business configuration.
    4. my solution got updated with the created and deployed BAC elements and i had done scoping for those elements to make my created form available.
    5. I can see my form template in Form Template maitaince under Application user managment WOC. I had made it to be available for all users and published.
    6. All the above steps are done success fully with no errors.
    7. When i accessed my custom BO and tried to preview the created form i am unable to view it and i am seeing the following window.
    Could you help me out in solving this or send me across any detailed document regarding this what you had done previously.
    Thanks in advance for your valuable help...
    Regards...
    Hanu K

    It looks like system didn't identify the form template. So please check if the required configuration for "Preview" modal dialog is done properly. In the SDK documentation, refer to section "8.4.3.4 Create a Preview Button for a Print Form"
    If you have already done the steps mentioned in the section 8.4.3.4, but still facing the issue then let me know.
    Best regards,
