  • Sapscript options inside form

    Hi,
    I've a problem. I'd like to distinguish inside the form if it is print preview or normal printout which goes to printer , but such structure like OPTIONS isn't passed by print program (it's empty). Also inside form RESULT and OPTIONS structures are initial.  Is there any field TDPREVIEW which is field after selection screen with printing options? I cannot modify print program.
    Regards,
    Wojtek

    Hi Wojtek
    You could try to read that value from memory.
    Insert a form in you sapscript, and in that form inset a piece of code like that:
    DATA ITCPP LIKE ITCPP.
    FIELD-SYMBOLS: <FS> TYPE ANY,
                   FIELD(30) TYPE C VALUE '(SAPLSTXC)ITCPP'.
    ASSIGN (FIELD) TO <FS>.
    ITCPP = <FS>.
    If you're lucky you should get the print data.

  • Create HTML page inside form 6i

    Hi ,
    I would like to know if it's possible to create an HTML page inside form 6i ,, where this html page will include a time using html code, and a refresh button will be in the form whenever I press the refresh button the html page inside the form will be updated ..
    how can i do that ?
    Thanks in advance … :)

    Yes its possible . If you are running forms in client server , use host built in to open the html page. This html page can be created
    dynamically using text io.
    If you are running on web use webutil client host and text io.

  • Formula in Forms Doc

    I have a form document which was in a pdf I will be changing and using which was from another source.  I have been able to change the pertinent information and save back to a pdf "form" document.  I am having trouble with the formula.  I put in a simple addition formula and save, however, it will not save and the error message I receive says due to a security issue I can't save.  How do I put in formulas?  (This would be one area which should not have changed at all and does not have a formula).

    Hi, see #error in formula row of the form sum([1])/2
    maybe it helps

  • Need to play video inside forms applet window

    Hi,
    I need to call a video inside oracle forms (10g), This can be acheived through Client_host() or by web.show_document. But the problem is that both methods opens the video in new browser window. Where as my target is to play the video inside specific frame of forms. I hope this is possible through java beans. Can anybody suggest a solution for this?
    Regards,
    Naveed

    Hello,
    <p>Here is one Java Bean</p>
    It needs the Sun Java plug-in, so it won't work with the JInitiator.

  • Form inside Form

    Hi everybody,
    How can I view a form inside a form?
    i.e. To have the upper part of the form to display another form as a header.
    Thanks in advance ;)

    If you want to open another form from inside a form, you can use these built-ins. The help document describe the differences between each.
    call_form
    open_form
    new_form
    But when you open a form, it will have its own window. If you don't want that, then use a stacked canvas.

  • Can't Click Inside Form

    Hi again! I am having an issue with something I'm experimenting with. I'm looking to add a Form and Button to my site, but when adding it inside of a specific div, I can't click inside the Form field.
    Test Site Below:
    Rental Management Company
    The highlighted area is the part I'm talking about. My theory is that I can't click inside that field because it's connected to the slider pro javascript, and anything inside the div is treated like an image or sorts. Is there any way I can get around this? Any and all help is appreciated, thanks in advance!

  • Formula in Forms

    Hi
    The following Average (Formula row) results were encountered in web forms. I would expect Mar's average to be either 'blank' or '0' and for Q1's average to be 400.
    Can someone enlighten me on this? And if #error is the correct answer, where do you fix it to display as 'blank' or '0'?
         Jan     Feb     Mar     Q1
    Phone     150     250          400
    Rental     150     250          400
    Average     150     250     #error     #error

    Hi, see #error in formula row of the form sum([1])/2
    maybe it helps

  • Use Formule on FORM with REPORT - result stored at table

    Hi all,
    What is the best solution for?
    I have region with FORM WITH REPORT on the same PAGE.
    Values stored at table INFO with column ID, MYDATE, TIME_START_HOUR, TIME_START_MIN, TIME_END_HOUR, TIME_END_MIN, SUM1, SUM2
    ITEMS on the form:
    P1_ID (hidden)
    P1_MYDATE (date picker)
    P1_TIME_START_HOUR (select list)
    P1_TIME_START_MIN (select list)
    P1_TIME_END_HOUR (select list)
    P1_TIME_END_MIN (select list)
    P1_SUM1 (hidden)
    P1_SUM2 (hidden)
    After user fill in MYDATE, TIME_START_HOUR, TIME_START_MIN, TIME_END_HOUR, TIME_END_MIN then I need proces for calculation SUM1 en SUM2. Result stored (one record) at table INFO.
    Report shows all columns. User had possibility to update the record
    Formule:
    Select
    (CASE
    when to_char(mydate,'DY','nls_date_language=dutch') in ('ZA','ZO')
    THEN substr(to_timestamp (mydate||':'||TIME_END_HOUR||':'||TIME_END_MIN ||':00','DD-MM-YY:HH24:MI:SS') -
    to_timestamp (mydate||':'||TIME_START_HOUR||':'||TIME_START_MIN ||':00','DD-MM-YY:HH24:MI:SS') -
    (interval '00 00:00:00' day to second)
    ,12,5)
    ELSE '08:00'
    END) SUM1,
    (CASE
    when to_char(mydate,'DY','nls_date_language=dutch') in ('ZA','ZO')
    THEN substr(to_timestamp (mydate||':'||TIME_END_HOUR||':'||TIME_END_MIN ||':00','DD-MM-YY:HH24:MI:SS') -
    to_timestamp (mydate||':'||TIME_START_HOUR||':'||TIME_START_MIN ||':00','DD-MM-YY:HH24:MI:SS') -
    (interval '00 04:00:00' day to second)
    ,12,5)
    ELSE '04:00'
    END) SUM2
    FROM INFO
    where id=:ID
    What is the best way for the calculation: computation or processes or etc? The calculation after or before user push button(New:create button of Update:Apply Changes)?
    How to fill the answer (SUM1 and SUM2) at table INFO?
    Thanks Walter

    I have something similar I use:

      str_day      VARCHAR2(10);
      dt_indx      DATE;
      db_dt_indx   VARCHAR2(20);
      str_st_tm    VARCHAR2(20);
      dt_st_tm     DATE;
      db_st_tm     VARCHAR2(20);
      str_ed_tm    VARCHAR2(20);
      dt_ed_tm     DATE;
      db_ed_tm     VARCHAR2(20);
      shft_flag    NUMBER;
    BEGIN
      str_day    := :P1050_DATE_MM || '/' || :P1050_DATE_DD || '/' ||  :P1050_DATE_YYYY;
      dt_indx    := to_date(str_day, 'MM/DD/YYYY');
      db_dt_indx := to_char(dt_indx, 'MM/DD/YYYY');

      dt_ed_tm   := TO_DATE(str_ed_tm, 'MM/DD/YYYY HH:MI AM');
      --Alter date if night shift
      SELECT NVL(:P1050_NIGHT_FLAG,0) into shft_flag from dual;
      IF dt_ed_tm < dt_st_tm THEN
        dt_ed_tm := dt_ed_tm + 1;
      END IF;
      db_st_tm   := to_char(dt_st_tm + shft_flag,'MM/DD/YYYY HH:MI AM');
      db_ed_tm   := to_char(dt_ed_tm + shft_flag,'MM/DD/YYYY HH:MI AM');
    end;You'll need to modify it for your page variables.

  • Formulas in Forms: Errors from Mac to Windows?

    PDF Made in: Acrobat 10 Pro on a 2012 Macbook Air running Mountain Lion
    Attempting to fill form in: Adobe Reader on a 2011 Windows desktop running Windows 7
    A fillable PDF was made with Acrobat 10 Pro on Mountain Lion. The form has a formula involved - it is a budgeting form that adds up columns and rows.
    The formula works fine on several tested Macintosh computers, but on Windows computers the formula is non-existent. Typing into one box will not effect any of the other boxes.
    Any input or solutions for the issue? Or is this just a Windows/Mac problem?

    The issue is that the form does not fill in properly, specifically that the formula in the spreadsheet section of the form does not work.
    It is a budget form with three columns, the first is the original estimate, the second is the new estimate, and the final column automatically calculates the difference between them.
    This part of the form does not work.

  • Dbms_lob inside forms

    Hi, I use DBMS_LOB package to save large text data in the database. The problem is whenever I deploy the form to a different version of database, I have to recompile the form. is there any way to construct a clob object in forms and save it to database without using DBMS_LOB package?
    Thank You,

    I don't know your code nor do I know why you need to recompile your form (I guess it's the infamous signature of package xyz has been changed ); however did you try to wrap your logic in a stored procedure and call this procedure in your form?
    It might be religion, but personally I avoid calling sys objects directly in forms but rather call them in my own stored procedures / views / whatsoever and use my stored procedures in forms. This has also the benefit that you just need to grant the sys objects to your schema owner and to nobody else. Giving as few grants as possible to the end users is also very desireable. Do I want my end users to be able to do some stuff which maybe requires privilages like alter system ? Maybe. Do I want my end users to be able to issue alter system ? Not a chance. So I wrap the needed alter system commands in a database package, grant my schema owner alter system (nobody will know his password) and grant the package to the end users. By that they are able to change the system the way it is needed, but nothing else.
    cheers

  • Can't call a procedure from a PLSQL Library inside forms 10g

    Hello,
    I build a plsql library using forms builder, then I compile it and add to FORMS_PATH.
    I try to use a procedure from that lib so i attached the library to form (without path), then in then WHEN-BUTTON-PRESSED event I call one procedure from that library and i get this message :
    error 201 at line 6 , column 2
    identifier 'LIST_ADD_ALL' must be declared
    ---- MY CODE compiled ok with out errors i've got pll and plx
    declare
         START_LIST_ID ITEM := FIND_ITEM('LIST16');
         END_LIST_ID ITEM := FIND_ITEM('ITEM18');
    begin
         LIST_ADD_ALL(START_LIST_ID, END_LIST_ID);
    end ;
    I dont know if to put some kind of public declaration.
    can anyone help me please.

    In that case, use a batch file to start Form Builder to control your environment settings. The batch file ( e.g. FormsBuilder.bat ) should look roughly like this:
    set oracle_home=C:\Oracle\Dev10g
    set forms=%oracle_home%\forms
    set nls_lang=AMERICAN_AMERICA.WE8MSWIN1252
    set tns_admin=c:\oracle\admin
    set ca_uprefs=c:\data\oracle\10g\uprefs
    set path=%oracle_home%\bin;%path%
    set forms_path=c:\data
    set oratemp=c:\temp
    start frmbld.exe
