Forwards and Groups

I need to know if I'm in WGM, and I want to forward the account to two different e-mail addresses, can I do that in the forward box but just putting a comma between them? Or do I have to make a mailman mailing list and put that mailing list in the box?
Also how hard is it to setup the mailman mailing list system if I have virtual domains and such on my mail system? Do I have to change anything in the postfix files to make it work properly?

I just tested it on my install and this worked
clean 10.52
all domains virtual
no by-hand changes to any files (all done through GUI)
Added a new user
username: test9 - mydomain.com
shortname1: commydomaintest9
shortname2: [email protected]
In the "Mail" tab I set the user to "forward" with the forward box filled out with "[email protected], [email protected]"
Then I sent mail to [email protected]
The mail went to both the addresses in the forward.

  • Sharepoint Permission and Group

    Hi All,
I have project scenario where 3 types of user can access list data ,
first Admin who have full control so can access any thing
second one regional user based region\country\entity\division who can only read list data in their hierarchy so other regional user can not read or view or write others data.
third one is again based on same hierarchy can contribute in list data so again can not view or read others data.
Would this be possible in SP out of box ? or how can be implemented using custom permission ?
    Please reply ....Thanks All......
    Anupam soni

    Anupam,
This is very much possible using security role inheritance in SharePoint.
Lets assume you have one single site collection go hold entire subsite tree structure as you said (region\country\entity\division)
Admin who have full control  Can be site collection admin or Site owner at root site which should be carry forward and shouldn't be broke security role inheritance in
    sub sites.
Now on each region level two SharePoint security group need to introduced which
should be carry forward and shouldn't be broke security role inheritance in sub sites.
There two groups will be member and viewer.
IN fact SharePoint OOTB nature is this. Don't break security role inheritance in sub sites, but just add new groups which will be carry forward in subsite. Means Region
member group will carry forward all related country\entity\dividion subsites plus they will have their own member group. So on so forth. If you have chance to create site defination then please hide "Stop inheriting permission" - it
will pay you dividend in future  where invariably some site owner will do mistake and remove inherited groups. Otherwise take care these potential issue in your governance model.
Hope you are getting the idea! let me know if you need more information.

  • Asymmetric NAT rules matched for forward and reverse flows - NAT Issue

Having a problem with a VPN site trying to communicate to a subnet off my ASA 5505.   The network is simple, VPN IPSEC remote site is 192.168.6.0/24 and I can ping and access hosts on 192.168.10.0/24 (called InfraNet).   I am now trying to allow communications between 192.168.6.0/24 (called FD_net) to 192.168.9.0/24 (called Inside)
    The Error:
5          Nov 12 2012          13:52:50                    192.168.9.19                                        Asymmetric NAT rules matched for forward and reverse flows; Connection for icmp src outside:192.168.6.11 dst inside:192.168.9.19 (type 8, code 0) denied due to NAT reverse path failure
I understand this is a NAT issue; but I not seeing the error and could use a second set of eyes.   Here's my current running configuration.

I don't see any inspection-commands in your config. Is there a reason for not using any of them?
If your problem is only with ICMP, then you should enable at least icmp-inspection. You can do that easiely with the legacy command " fixup protocol icmp"

  • Reporting level Currency translation and group level Currency translation

    Hi All,
Could any body explain me reporting level Currency translation and group level Currency translation. Please expalin me step by step scenario.
    Thanks in advance.
    Setty.

    Hi Jian,
In my recent implementation completed, business only had one currency to deal with i.e. USD. Data was coming from ECC and we loaded all the data in LC instead of USD using transformation *NEWCOL(LC). Next, you can maintain a rate of 1 in the rate model and run the currency conversion.
This will generate the same data values against USD. So, your statement " if we load LC and than convert it into USD, the data vulu will de double." is incorrect. In the system, you will have same set of values against LC as well as USD.
I suggest that you configure Currency Conversion for future reqmts if any.
Regarding BCF, balances from previous year (Balance Sheet Accounts) will need to be carried forward as opening balances to next year else your BS won't give true picture.

    Ashish

  • Carry Forward And Brought Forward Wage Types

    Hi Experts,
Pls tell me how to create the CArry Forward and Brought Forwad wage types wrt IT 0008, IT 0014 & IT0051??
Also whether we need to creat in OH11 the same model wage types and change the processing classe and etc.. or how plc let me know..?
    Thanks & Regards,
    Ritika K

Hi, your response did spark an idea and appears close to what I am looking for but i just need more clarity. so I am explaining my scenario for here.
Most of the payscale groups receive "Bicycle allowance" apart from a few.
Recently there was a change in my company. According to the new development one of the levels who dint receive "Bicycle allowance" all these days, will be receiving this allowance from Jan 2012. So I was asked to create a wage type for the same. So i created a new wage type by copying from existing wage type that was available from other groups. I am also creating the "Bicycle allowance arrears" wagetype.
For this I need to know how to create Carry Forward wage types and Brought forward wage types, for future use. (the wage type characteristics) and also the effect of creating this since it is being created cross financial year. i.e from jan to next year
It will be great if anyone can help me setup this step by step because this is first time i am facing this situation. So need to know the steps to create carry forward and brought forward wage types in IT0008 - Basic pay WRT arrears.

  • My iPhone 4 will not send MMS or Group messages and the MMS and Group messages are on in the settings. Help?

I keep getting the red mark "message failed" whenever i attempt to send a picture or forward. i checked my settings and MMS and Group messaging are both on. This has happened several times. Help!!!

I've been an AT&T customer since they were under different names in the 90s and have never heard/seen that. I would check with them. I'd really like to see that error. To get a screenshot on the phone, press the home button and sleep/wake button together quickly and release. You will see the screen flash slightly and hear the camera shutter noise.

  • Urgent - "Vendor balances carried forward and line items report."

    Hello,
Is there any report which will give me the vendor balance carried forward and the line items during that period.
    ==============================================
    Format-
eg: statement taken from 1.8.2006 to 30.9.2006 is required as
    Bal b/f …………………………… 25000 cr.
    3.8.2006 Purchase Inv XXX ……   3000 cr.
    5.9.2006 Payment Chq XX ……  26000 dr.
    Bal c/f ……………………………  2000 cr.
    ==============================================
    Please advise on this.....
    Regards,
    J

thanks for the response, but i have already tried those transactions.
FK10N will give me the periodic bal statements and NOT line items display which will also have balance carried forward.
F.41 and F.43 again gives the periodic and line items...but i want the vendor balances to  be in the format given above..
    like say, account statement.
    Please advise............
    Regards,
    J

what is difference between distribution list and share point group? Can we add distribution list into person and group column of share point list?

there is a workaround you can try, create audience and add DL to them and deal with the audience or convert DL to groups

  • Partition Name in Select and Group-By

Is there a function that returns the partition name a row is stored in? I'd like to use it in a SELECT statement, if it exists.
The goal is to get row counts per partition to determine skew on a hash-based partition (otherwise, I'd just select and group-by the partition key). I want to do something like this:
    SELECT PARTITION_NAME, COUNT(*) as PER_PART_COUNT
      FROM SOMETABLE
GROUP BY PARTITION_NAME;Obviously, I would replace the string "*PARTITION_NAME*" with whatever function returns that value.
NOTE: Before the forum sharks jump all over me, I did search the documentation and forums, but I came up empty handed.

    Hi,
This is hokey - but you can use the undocumented function "tbl$or$idx$part$num" like so:
    SELECT   atp.partition_name
           , COUNT (*) AS count_rows
        FROM all_tab_partitions atp
           , (SELECT tbl$or$idx$part$num ("SCOTT"."TAB1"
                                        , 0
                                        , 1
                                        , 0
                                        , partition_col1 -- your 1st partition key column
                                        , partition_col2 -- your 2nd partition key column
                                         ) AS part_num
                   , 'TAB1' AS table_name
                   , 'SCOTT' AS owner
                FROM scott.tab1) pt
       WHERE atp.table_name = pt.table_name
         AND atp.table_owner = pt.owner
         AND atp.partition_position = pt.part_num
GROUP BY atp.partition_name;Note - this probably won't perform well at all... but it could be an option...

... On 2nd thought - don't do it - it seems it is pretty unstable - brought my session to a halt a couple of times... Forget I mentioned it :)
... On 3rd thought - if you add ROWNUM - it works fine - seems you need to materialize the result set in the inner query - like so:
    CREATE TABLE part_tab (part_key int
                         , a int
    partition by range (part_key)
(partition p1 values less than (100)
,partition p2 values less than (200)
,partition p3 values less than (maxvalue)
    insert into part_tab
    select rownum
         , rownum
    FROM all_objects
    where rownum <= 1000; SELECT atp.partition_name
         , COUNT(*) AS count_rows
    FROM all_tab_partitions atp
       , (SELECT TBL$OR$IDX$PART$NUM("PART_TAB", 0, 1, 0, part_key) AS part_num
               , 'PART_TAB' AS table_name
               , user AS owner
, ROWNUM AS rn -- Materialize the result set by adding ROWNUM...
          FROM part_tab) pt
    WHERE atp.table_name = pt.table_name
      AND atp.table_owner = pt.owner
      AND atp.partition_position = pt.part_num
    GROUP BY atp.partition_name;

  • Difference between forward and redirect

difference between forward and send redirect

+ a Redirect will change the URL in the browser, whereas a forward will not.
+ a Redirect can be any URL, whereas a forward has to be directed to a resource within the container,
+ a Redirect MUST be an absolute URL (though the Servlet functions will do this for you).
+ a Redirect, being a new request, triggers filters, whereas a forward does not.

  • How do you use forward and back button on mouse and use "zoom" in web browser.

Ok so apparently this forum is ruled with an iron fist or something my very honest and truthful problems with these issues seem to have been instantly deleted in my last discussion?
    I'll try this once more.
    1) How do you use the forward and back button on a mouse without having to buy a product like Steer Mouse? There must be a way to do this without having to buy a program given it's such a useful feature that 99% of users need. I don't want to spend hours researching something that should already work. Any advice?
    2) How do you zoom in for web browsers like Chrome without it globally zooming in everything on the monitor (even background applications). I don't want to zoom in background applications. I want to be able to zoom in the web browser and still maintain all the features like the side bar, not just a little magnifying glass type thing.
I'm currently zooming in with the CTRL-Middle Mouse button, but I can't find a way to use this feature so it's useful to browse the web it seems to not scale the browser correctly but rather is a global zoom. Any solution for this?

    Thanks so much!
Like I said I am new to Apple products so it's still unclear to me which programs I do or don't need as I'm setting up and configuring all my software and devices.
The Logitech Control Center appears to work perfectly for what I was trying to do!
I accidently clicked "This helped me" instead of "This Solved My Question", sorry about that this was a solve!

  • How to update a People and group field using a sandbox solution

    Hi,
I am creating a sandbox solution for office 365 and creating a custom form using visual web part, which will allow users to enter data in a custom list.
And that list also have a user field. I am able to get SharePoint user field on the form (using javascript) which is searching for the user and get a value (working fine).
Issue: But I am not able to save the user value. Because to save user value I require web, UserID and login name, to construct SPFieldUserValue object or string in "111;#TestUser" format. Moreover that user should be present in
    SiteUserInfoList.
I tried web.EnsureUser() but did not work under sanbox solution.
Can you please provide any pointer or workaround to the problem? I may be missing something here.
    Thanks,
    Himanshu

    Hi,
According to your description, my understanding is that you want to update the people and group field in Sandbox solution.
In the sandbox solution, you can still use the web.EnsureUser() function to get the user information, see the thread below:
    EnsureUser in sandboxed solution
In additional, there is a demo with your similiar requirement for your reference:
Using the People Picker Control in Sandbox Solutions / Office 365
    Thanks
