FPGA 2010 sp1 Compilation error - TclTasksC:process_077: Failed to complete.

Hi, I'm using a cRIO 9076, LabVIEW 2010 sp1, LabVIEW RT 2010 sp1, LabVIEW FPGA 2010 sp1, NI-RIO 4.0, Xilinx Compile Tools 11.5. Everytime I try to compile code I have a compilation error that read as follows (The same error come up if I try compiling a very simple VI):

Did you make some update before this error starts to occur? Or you have never compliled any VI on this computer.
In case you have compiled any VI previously successfully on this computer, try to reinstall the LabVIEW FPGA module.

Updating 2013 SP1 to CU8 Error - Set-SharedConfigDC Fails

I have two 2012 servers running Exchange 2013 SP1. They are both multi-role servers and are members of a DAG and are also load-balanced behind a Citrix Netscaler. I was ready to begin moving my mailboxes from 2010 to 2013 when I ran into a problem. In order
to try and resolve this problem, I attempted to update to CU8.
(After a successful mailbox move, I am unable to open my own mailbox in Outlook (2013 or 2010). I receive an error that "the set of folders cannot be opened". I am, however, able to view my mailbox from another migrated mailbox which has "full
access" to it. After some unsuccessful attempts to figure it out, I decide that I should probably update Exchange to the latest before I start messing with other things. Bad mistake.)
The CU8 setup fails in the Set-SharedConfigDC step with the error "No Minimal Required Number of Suitable Directory Servers Found in Forest".
I've read that I need IPv6 enabled. It had previously been "unchecked" in the NIC settings of the Exchange and DC servers. I've enabled it on the Exchange server and two of the DCs one of which is a GC. No luck. I've also added the "Exchange
Servers" and "Exchange Subsystem" groups to the AD "Administrators" group which was another suggestion I received.
The DCs are in a different subnet from the Exchange server. I am running at domain functional level of 2003.
And just to reiterate: I had successfully installed Exchange 2013 SP1 with IPv6 "unchecked" on all Exchange and DC servers before the CU8 update failed.

That might have done it! I've marked your response as the answer although I do have some follow-up questions below.
I added MinSuitableServer = "1" under the line MinPercentageOfHealthyDC = "50" in the file "microsoft.exchange.directory.topologyservice.exe.config" in the CU8 setup folders. The setup still failed so I then edited the same file
in the existing Exchange directory and then rebooted. Setup then finished.
I still have my other Exchange server to do. I will make the same NIC changes and the same config file changes before attempting to run setup. I assume I should move the active DAG copy to the server that finally updated before proceeding but should I be wary
since the exchange servers are now on different versions?
Is there any explanation as to why this might have happened? I just can't understand why the initial setup succeeded back in January while this CU failed...

7813R and LV 2010 SP1

Has anybody been able to use the 7813R with LV 2010 SP1?
I am having trouble compiling VIs for this board which contains an old Xilinx FPGA model which is not supported by the new compiler version, but I am starting to suspect that the supposedly "automatic" choice of compiler version by the FPGA module is not working at all as advertised.
That would be a new case of accelerated hardware obsolescence due to non-backward software compatibility... which people should be aware of!

To make a loooooong story short, I finally managed to fix my problem (with the help of NI, although that was mostly trial and errors).
The symptom was that the compilation, in LV 2010 SP1, of an FPGA VI with a 7813R target failed when calling the compile worker. The typical message I got in the Status window read something like this:

I also got another error if I did not launch the Compile Worker manually before starting the compilation, but that one was relatively easy to fix (just launch the Compile Worker manually! Odd, but life is).
The problem, as it reads in the message, is that a file is missing in the ISE folder. I tried to uninstall, reinstall and repair the FPGA toolkit from the NI website and still no trace of the fileset.txt...
Luckily I have another computer on which I have installed the same configuration (and to which the 7813R is attached) and there, I found the missing file (as well as few readme files). I copied that and pasted it on my development computer. This seems to have fixed the problem and the compilation now goes through without problem.
I have no idea why the damn' file was never installed in the first place (a similar file is installed with the 11.5 compiler, but has a different content).

Hi, I'm using a cRIO 9075 and a NI 9211 to measure temperature for a project busy with. Everytime I try t compile code I have a compilation error that read as follows:

What version of the NI-RIO driver do you have?

Is this a 64-bit machine? Also, the minimum version of LabVIEW that will work with the 9075 is LabVIEW 2010SP1. You can verify if you have this version by going into Measurement & Austomation Explorer and expanding software. If you do not have LabVIEW 2010SP1, you will need either the platform DVDs for 2010 SP1 or you can download the content from www.NI.com/src.
You will also want to verify that you have the 2010SP1 FPGA module and 2010SP1 RT module.
Also, does this issue occur with all FPGA VIs that you try to compile or only the one that you are currently working on?
You can check by doing two things:
1. Try to compile a blank FPGA VI (i.e. nothing on the block diagram or front panel)
2. Try to compile an FPGA VI from one of the example LabVIEW projects
Please post back if one of these troubleshooting steps resolved your issue or if you're still having problems.

Building App Gives Error 6 about 50 - 80 - 99% of the time. Windows7, LabVIEW 2010 SP1

I have tried all the suggestions on this link with no luck.
Background: have been using LabVIEW 2010 without problems since Sept, then I started getting the error 6 with the following message.
" Error 6 occurred at Delete in AB_Engine_Delete_Internal_Files.vi->AB_EXE.lvclass:Build.vi
->AB_Engine_Build.vi->AB_Build_Invoke.vi->AB_Build_Invoke.vi.ProxyCaller "
This started on one project and is now occurring on another project. Sometimes it builds 50% of the time, other times I can't get it to build at all. I have upgraded to SP1, no change.
Here are some things I have tried.
Moved build directory to c:\a
Renamed project, moved project right under c:\
Disabled Google , disabled Win indexing, disabled Win7 user acct. Control, run LabVIEW as Admit all the time, win explorer closed
mass compiling, closing the project, closing LabVIEW, re-booting
Unistalled LabVIEW 2010 SP1 and re-install, twice.
I believe I rebuilt my project in a new project.
I moved my projects to a WinXP system laptop I have, and they never get Error 6 ! Short term fix, but I have to use Win7. So I hope this means it is not my code.
The funny thing is that this is totally random. The unfunny thing is having to explain to a client I can't get my code to compile during a frustrating 95% of the time failure episode, yikes!
Any help and suggestions would be welcome.
BTW, the next step is to totally uninstall LabVIEW with a 'special' procedure and piece of code sent to me. Don't want to, but am really at wits end. Also waiting to hear back from my service ticket, but am desperate to have parallel solutions to try.

By the way, I was told that uninstalling LabVIEW will not resolve the issue, dodged a time killer :-)
It seems the error is caused by Win7 and file reserving. Waiting to hear back on that. Have an SR.
Again, any suggestions welcomed, maybe some Win7 ideas from those who know more about it.

FPGA code successfully compiled in 2010 is giving compilation error in 2014.

I have developed RS485 FPGA code and successfully compiled with LabVIEW FPGA 2010.
Later changed the software to 2014 and installed Xilinx 14.7.
Now if I compile the same code with LabVIEW 2014 compile worker, i am getting error 'Process "Synthesis" failed'.
I am using a case structure with Error cluster as selector, So the case structure has 'No error' and 'Error' cases.
If I change the selector to 'True/False' then the compilation works.
Below is the error that i am getting when using Case structure with Error cluster as selector

Attached FPGA_error_2014.jpg which depicts the working and 'not working' code in 2014.
In 'Not working' code,the selector terminal is error cluster.
I am able to resolve the issue just by changing the selecter terminal to boolean as in 'working code'.
But both sets of software code works fine in version 2010.

Error when trying to migrate project from labwindows 2010 SP1 over to VS2008

I'm sure I've been successful back with this when running CVI 8.5 and VS2003 / 2005, but I keep gettin the following error when trying to do this with my current configuration. What am I missing?

Not recently, but what I would say is that CVI 2010 SP1 was installed after my VS2008 installation, so it ought to be in the right order.... When I get a moment I'll reinstall the CVI runtime and see what happens. Its not critical that I get this fixed, as the project in question is so small, and as the important parts are almost competely ANSI C, it should be really easy to reconstruct in C# anyway. I'll let you know what happens anyway

Error of LabView 2010 sp1 installed on win7 64bit

I installed LabView 2010 sp1 in a brandnew machine with 64bit Windows7.
During the process of initialize LabView, an error message coms out.
Could anyone help to solve this problem?

That appears to be a problem with your .NET installation, not LabVIEW. I'd suggest repairing or reinstalling your .NET framework.

Exchange 2010 SP1 install fails with -1603 error

I am getting a -1603 error when installing Exchange 2010 SP1. Installation fails when copying files/removing old version with the following error:

I've the same problem when I try to install the SP2.
When I try to install RU 4v2, 5 or 6, then comes error 2771. So I waiting for SP2 in the hope, a full install of the SP will fix this.
But the setup broke with the following entries:

I set up an outlook.it account in Outlook 2010 SP1 64-bit to receive and to send E-Mail via POP3. Now, when I test this account, Outlook displays this SMTP error:

How come?

Teststand 2010 SP1 Sequence Editor Lauch Error

Today I have installed the Teststand 2010 SP1 eval version on Windows XP but an error pops up when I run the sequence editor, as per shown in the attached screenshot.

I build an application exe and then its installer along with run time environment.

I tried another machine, 64 bit of course, as I want to deploy my application on a 64bit PC, but still got the same problem.
This other machine was from HP, iCore 3 (4 CPUs) 2.2GHz, 4GB RAM and running Windows Professional 64 bit.
Now as I see it, it could be a Run-time environment mis-match error.
For this I tried installing a 64 bit LVRTE from NI, but still no sucess.
I checked DEP, for all 3 PCs and it was set to the following
Turn on DEP for essential Windows programs and services only (first option).
I am confused. I can not find a solution for this and it is really frustrating.

But I am assuming that when I make the installer, the 32-bit Run Time Engine is appened with the installer, as show below

The application runs queries to fetch data from database in SQL server 2008, and for that I am using a Microsoft SQL Native Client 2008 R2 64 bit ( this is the only version that installs on either PC, even the one on which I developed my LV Application).
I am not using any driver, only toolkits for reports - and for that I un-checked the "Remove unused polymorphic VI instances" when making the executable, otherwise LV throws up an exception that share variable are not being included.
Yes I did reboot every time after I ran the installation.
Still getting the same error.

Crystal Reports 2010 SP1 on IIS 7.0 - Report is not being displayed

Finally, the keycode assembly, BusinessObjects.Licensing.KeycodeDecoder.dll error is gone, after I installed Crystal Runtime 2010 SP1. Also, I tested Crystal Report 2010 SP1 on my Windows 32 application and I can tell that I do not have this error anymore and report is being displayed properly.
But Crystal Report is not being displayed on ASP.NET page on MS Server 2008 standard edition SP2 with IIS 7.0. Database resides on iSeries remote machine.
The MS Server 2008 is virtual machine.
OS system has:
Crystal Report Basic Runtime for Visual Studio 2008
SAP Crystal Reports Runtime engine for .NET Framework 4 (32-bit)
Simply the report is not being displayed at all. No errors are being recorded in the Event Viewer.

I checked the web.config file, all http handlers are there. I think the handlers are required to render the images on crystal report viewer but in my case the report viewer is not being rendered.
I have to questions:
1. What exact folders should be under aspnet_client\system_web?
In my case I have structure like this
aspnet_client\system_web\2_0_50727\crystalreportviewers13
aspnet_client\system_web\4_0_30319\crystalreportviewers13
Should I have folders something like this
aspnet_client\system_web\2_0_50727\crystalreportviewers13_1
aspnet_client\system_web\4_0_30319\crystalreportviewers13_1
after I installed Crystal Reports 2010 SP1
Also, in C:\Program Files\SAP BusinessObjects\Crystal Reports for .NET 4.0\Common\Crystal Reports 2011\ there is no folder named as crystalreportviewers13 but instead crystalreportviewers
a.     Should I copy all files from this folder to aspnet_client\system_web\2_0_50727\crystalreportviewers13, or
b.     Should I copy all files from this folder to aspnet_client\system_web\2_0_50727\crystalreportviewers13 and rename this folder to

I upgrade my Exchange ORG from Exchange 2007 to Exchange 2010 on Windows Server 2008 R2 and worked fine. After install Exchange Server 2010 SP1 have a problem with
the Outlook Web App, I cannot login an get this error:
"The username or password you entered isn't correct. Try entering it again"
1. Create 1 test user and all work, included the Administrator User.
2. Reset users Password, verify clear check " User must change password at next logon"
2. I set the OWA Authentication to Domain\user name and
User name only, Doesn't work with both ways.

Cannot upgrade Exchange 2010 SP1 Management Tools to SP2 on Win 8.1 workstation

I have a Win 8.1 workstation that I am trying to update the Exchange Management tools on from 2010 SP1 to SP2. I get an error that says:
Error:
The following error was generated when "$error.Clear(); &RoleBinPath\ServiceControl.ps1 EnableServices Critical" was run: "AuthorizationManager check failed.".
The WMI service is being disabled and not starting back up after, causing the error. I have tried the following:
-Confirmed that the ExecutionPolicy is set to undefined/unrestricted for the localmachine
-Confirmed no GPO exists in our domain to restrict this
Every single time I run the install the WMI service switches to disabled and the localmachine Execution Policy is switched to RemoteSigned.
I have tried the Google search steps except for the Setup /M:Recoverserver since I really don't know what that would do to our Exchange environment. I have seen some posts that the Exchange 2010 MGMT tools are not supported on Win 8, which I find hard to
believe. I get no unsupported error just this incredibly frustrating error.
Any ideas?

By the way, Exchange 2010 sp1 and SP2 are no longer supported, the minimum supported is SP3.
