Framework order with mandatory invoicing plan

Hi,
we have requirement from customer to ensure that It s no possibility to save Framework order without foundation Invoicing plan. We created for this customer type of PO - ZFO. Is any possibility how make this without coding some coding, we prefer some changes in customizing... I tried to make some change via Purchase order- Define Screen layout at Document level but without succcess.
Thanks
Petr

Hi,
As of my knowledge, there is no option to make the push button "Invoicing Plan" mandatory in standard.
If the user click on the invoicing plan button, the remaining fields will appear. These fields can be made mandatory, through transaction variant for ME21N using SHD0 transaction. But if the user forget to click on "Invoicing plan" button, the transaction variant will fail.
If you want to make the invoicing plan button mandatory, you may to go for development. There is no configuration option as of my knowledge.

  • Loading framework orders with invoicing plans...

We have had a request to load framework orders with invoicing plans from a spreadsheet. I'm sure this is possible if we write something, but I was wondering if anything already existed in SAP to do this. If not, has anyone written something and what were the hurdles they encountered.

You can use LSMW for this process..
Record the Invoice plan update on one framework order by using the change PO transaction under LSMW process. Make the invoice plan selection an external input, then use your excel file as the external input file in LSMW and repeat the process as many time the number of Frame work orders you have to update

  • Framework order with account assignement U and item category B

    Hi guys,
I have seen many thread regarding this topic but could not find my answer.
I want to create a Framework order (I can't use K forbidden on my project... long story) withAcc *** U and Itm B.
The thing is during Invoice verification all field regarding G/L account and cost center are grayed. So I can't populate those fields. And the systeme keep asking me for G/L Account !!
Is anybody already used Framework order with U and B and was able to populate G/L Account during MIRO phase??
    Cheers
    Guys

    Hi,
For your scenario you have to do the changes in the customization.
For acc. ***. "U" tick the indicator for "AA Changable at IR" .
    This will solve your problem.

  • Framework order with reference to  contract

    Dear All,
We make a service contract in which we maintained the short text and Qty as 1 AU in the item overview area and we maintained services in the "Services" tab in the "Item details" area.(We maintained actual quantity in this area)
Now we are creating a Framework order with reference to this contract . When we select services against this contract , system is copying all the service details from contract but qty as 1 AU.
Why system is not copying the quantity mentioned in the contract (Services tab, item details area) into the framework order ????
    Nilesh

What ever Order you are creating W.r.to Contract , it may be Frame work or Purchase Order..
they are considered as Release order against that Contract..
a contract is agreement between two parties for a perticular period..
System will not expect you to use the entire Quantity at Once..
That is why the Quantity mentioned in the Contract will not be copied..
By default you will get Qty as 1...
You need to change according to your requirement..

  • Purhcase Orders for Renting - Invoice plan

    Hello,
I would like to know if anyone of you has had experience with the folowing business situation:
    Renting of equipment or vehicules:
A company has a contract with a particular vendor for renting equipments and /or vehicules.
If a particular Plant needs to rent a vehicule for lets say 2 years, the purchasing department creates a Purchase Order with 2 years term on the basis of which, the supplier invoices monthly a pre-established amount.
To complicate a bit further, the monthly invoice from the vendor in a lot of cases is for the total amount of vehicule renting in all plants of the company.
Also we want to use Contract -management in SAP for the renting of vehicules in which the monthly invoice is consuming the amount agreed in the contract.
How can one map this business case in SAP without using the funcionality of an Invoicing Plan (our client does not want to generate the invoice automaticaly)
Note: We do not use the Goods/service Receipt funcionality of MM in this proyect.
I looked at partial invoicing but then the total amount due at a certain date is shown in the MIRO transaction and not the monthly amount due to be invoiced.
Can anyone help me. Give me some clues how I can resolve this Case in SAP.
    Thanks,
    Aart

    Hi,
The periodic invoicing plan is the best one which would  suffice your need. But as you have mentioned that you dont want to have the automated invoice generation, you can go for Blanket / Framework orders (FO doc type). Here you would need to give the limit value and the validity period for the agreement with the vendor. you would not require the GR or Sevice entries to be done. You can create manual invoice verification- IR. The only drawback is that you cannot get the monthly fixed amounts defaulted in the Invoice verification, manully the monthly amount has to be entered- everytime you create the invoice.
Also the PO and invoice verification in MM will always be plant based. So if you want to do this processing in a consolidated way (if consolidated invoice will be received) then you can also look out for options in FI module. I hope Lease accounting can provide you some option here. check with your FI consultant.

  • Framework order : GR-based invoice and Goods receipt fields

    Hello,
In our solution, framework orders (purchase orders type FO) have no goods receipt, they are directly invoiced.
However, when creating a purchase order (ME21N), the fields "GR-based invoice" (Invoice tab) and "Goods receipt" (Delivery tab) are flagged by default. We then have to "unflag" them each time we create a framework order (purchase order type FO).
In customizing, can these fields be "unflagged" by default for the purchase orders type FO?
    Thanks for your answers.

    Hi Shirley,
Go to Vendor master change(XK02/MK02)with whom you are creating the Framework order - Purchasing data, in that uncheck the check boxes for GR-based invoice and Goods receipt. Then save the vendor master. Then create the framework order.
    Hope this helps.
    Thanks,

    Hi,
We have a large number of purchase orders with an outstanding invoice which will never be fulfilled. I would like to know what is the process for clearing these down so the purchase orders will be marked for archiving, and so they will not be visible when running me2m with selection parameter RECHNUNG. I've tried setting the final invoice flag but I can still see the order.
    Thanks,

you have to clear the GR/IR account with MR11.

  • Framework Order PO (FO) Invoice

    Hii SAP..
can i use MIRO or is there any transaction to do invoice for Framework Order (FO) PO ?

Yes you can use t-code MIRO to book the invoice against FO. If you are using account assignment U you can chane the acc assignment at the time of MIRO.
On a framework order by setting the item category to B will invoke the
Limit functionality on the PO. The expected value will be the price
that appears on the PO. The overall value is the absolute limit that
the system will accept against this PO. The overall value can be larger
than the expected value, never less.
Using MIRO; (1) enter the invoice date, reference # and amount of
    invoice.
    (2) enter the PO #,
    (3) ensure the display variant = account
    assignment - cost center.
    (4) click on the yellow arrow icon in the
    account assignment column,
    (5) enter the invoice amount on the first
line of the account assignment box,
    (6) click the BACK button on the
    account assignment box,
    (7) the traffic light should now be green and
    you can save your invoice.

  • Billing block on order with proforma invoice

    Hi,
In our process, we take on new customers who need a pro forma invoice to pay us but often the final amount varies from what was initially expected. There is no delivery and the Proforma will create from the order. However, we will correct the order with the final quantity (service time) once the customer visit ends. e.g. an order was $100 and the pro forma invoice was sent for $100. it turns out the final service was for 150 - the customer at the moment pays only 100 but will pay the rest when we send the bill. Once the service is complete the order is corrected to 150. The volume is high so we have billing jobs running to create the invoices from the orders.
    Exploring 2 options:
    1. To make the correction, we want an automatic billing block put on the order once a proforma is generated. When the order is corrected subsequently, we will remove the block too. If it can't be done automatically, then 2 below:
    2. One can't generate the pro-forma if there is no billing block on the order. This is to prevent the person responsible to print it if he/she forgets to put the block
Either of the 2 scenarios will work for us. Is there any user exit which can do this?
    Thanks a lot.

If you are handling these orders with a different order type, then just default the order with a billing block"Review pending" using OVV3, don't assign this block for the Proforma invoice, but assign it to the regular invoice using OVV4 .
Then you can always make sure that a billing block exists on the order before the proforma invoice gets printed.
Option 2.  If you are not using specific order type for the process.
In this case think about assigning the billing block for the orders that are being placed by the new customers, try to figure out a logic to identify the new customers..
On the whole, <b> If possible</b> I feel its better to assign the default order block rather than creating a new program to assign the BILLING BLOCKS for all the orders that have Proforma Invoices printed and run this program in Background every day or twice a day  when ever required..
Let me know if you need any more help

    Ajai.

  • Split Charging for PO-Framework Order with Item category B- Blank Item

    Hi,
how can i make the system split the qty percentage/charging  for Framework Order ,Charge to Project and Item Category of B- Blank item during PO creation/change. This functionality is behaving normal for  a standard PO charge to P and item category is standard.
we are using ecc6 and we dont use any material master..
    Thanks in advance..
    She

    Hi,
This can be controlled through account assignment category,
In SPRO > Materials Management > Purchasing > Account Assignment > Maintain Account Assignment Categories > Double click on account asignment category > Fill the field distribution according to your requirement.
During PO creation, in item details, account assignment tab, you can give the split.

  • SQL Queries for open sales orders with no invoice.

    Hello all!
Is there a way to make a query to find out if there are any uninvoiced sales orders older than 5 days?  I am having difficulty figuring out how the invoice is linked to the sales order.
I am more familiar with excel than SQL but I'm guessing it will be similar to the following:
SELECT * FROM ORDR WHERE today's date - posting date>5 AND (not sure what to check here for the invoice having been created)
**Note: my syntax is of course not exactly correct, this is just to give you an idea of what I'm looking for
Has anyone had to do this before or know how it would be done?  It would be very useful for me.
    Thanks!
    Mike

    Hi Mike
The document link is built on row level so the RDR1 should be used instead of ORDR to server your propose.
You could use this query to get all the lines do not link to a invoice.
*targettype 13 refers to target document invoice
    select t0.docentry,t0.docdate,t0.linenum,t0.itemcode,t0.quantity,t0.price,t0.linetotal
    from rdr1 t0 join ordr t1 on t0.docentry= t1.docentry
    where t0.trgetentry is null and t0.DocDate < dateadd("d",-5, getdate()) and t1.docstatus = 'O'
or just use this query instead to find those lines do not link to any document
    select t0.docentry,t0.docdate,t0.linenum,t0.itemcode,t0.quantity,t0.price,t0.linetotal
    from rdr1 t0 join ordr t1 on t0.docentry= t1.docentry
    where t0.targettype !='13' and t0.DocDate < dateadd("d",-5, getdate()) and t1.docstatus = 'O'
Please modify the code according to your needs.

I enter an invoice with PO reference as vendor using MIRO.
The system show all the purchase orders of the vendor, also the po without remaining amount and quantity.
Does exist a chance to exclude these purchase order ?
    Thanks.

    Dear ,
thanks but my problem is that the system take the terms of payment from the first purchase order. This can be an old po with not actual terms of payment.
I want to avoid to show these old po.
The refresh button clear the deselect po but maintain the terms of payment of the first po,

  • Multiple sales order  with single invoice

    Hi !
For the same dealer can we make single Invoice dispatching  with multiple sales order ???  and How ?
    Thanks.

    Hi Indrajit
If you want to create a single sales order into Multiple delivery then make sure that the delivery split should take place
The following are the parameters for the delivery split
Ship to party ,  route , delivery date, Shipping point ,Confirmed quantity date  , Delivery priority
    Example :
Say you have line item 1 & line item 2 , for line item 1 you have different ship to party and for line item 2 you have different ship to party then delivery split will take place for this two line items

  • Framework Order PO Invoice to be block if exceeded.

I am using framework order PO for invoicing planning. The problem is my user can perform invoicing more than total of invoice on PO. Example;-
    Item: ABC
    Quantity: 1
    Net Price: $10
Invoice planning start from 01.01.2010 until 31.03.2010, this means for 3-month total of invoice is $30.
the problem happens when user perform invoicing more than $30. How to block invoice if invoice already fulfill or exceeded total of invoice on invoice planning on PO ?

    Hi,
I would advice you to set up a tolerance key "LA" in the transaction OMR6 for your company code, but  this limit check
does not work with parked invoices.
    As described in note 134976:
For the tolerance checks, the system proceeds as follows:
LA Amount of blanket purchase order
The system determines the variance between the total from the value of
the purchase order item calculated up to now and the value of the
current invoice for the limit of the purchase order and compares this
variance with the percentage and absolute upper limits which are set.
Itwill check  the individual invoice amount
against the Blanket PO Overall limit regardless of its parked or posted
status, but will not check splitted invoices amount if they are parked.
    In the MM-invoice verification's processes,
as you create a new invoice (post it directly or as park) reference to
Blanket PO, or process (then post an created/parked invoice) reference
to Blanket PO, in these processes, if you input/change the invoice
item's amount or click button 'Post' to post the invoice, the system will make
tolerance check with the tolerance key 'LA'.
But, according to our standard concept, the system will make the check only
based on the invoice item's amount and the data 'Actual value', 'Overall
    limit' in the Blanket PO.
Because the invoice item's amount in the
parked invoices would be not acculumated and saved into 'Actual value'
in the Blanket PO (it should happen only for posted invoices), the
amount in the parked invoice would be not considered in the tolerance
    check.
