Frieght cond in delivery and copying it to invoice.

Hi All,
How can we add the frieght condition in the delivery document and how can copy this to invoice. Please tell me required configurtions settings and their implication on the process.
Thanks in advance.......
Raj.

Hi All,
Thanks for your inputs, how the system detemines the price at billing it has to copy from sales order and delivery at simultaneously.
Is it possible to get all the conditions from sales order and only frieght from delivery and combining these in billing.
And what pricing type do we need to maintain in copy controls?
Thanks in advance.

  • Dynamic data flow from sales order to delivery and vice-versa

    Hi Experts,
    One of our teams working for a client (transportation industry) on ECC 6.0 is facing an issue in relation to copying of partner data. (Ship-to-party address field changes to be precise)
    Currently, whenever the partner address data changed in a Sale order, though delivery is already created prior to this change, the change done is dynamically getting reflected in delivery too. Further, if the partner data in the delivery is changed, this also is getting updated on the preceding document i.e. sales order.
    We have checked the copy controls under VTLA and didn’t find any specific modifications made in this regard. Our question is:
    Is there any configuration available in standard SAP through which the data updates (like header data viz. partner field data etc.) get dynamically updated forward and backwards in a sales flow(i.e. from sales order to delivery and vice-versa)
    Your help on this will be highly appreciated.
    Regards,
    Jagan

    if the partner data in the delivery is changed, this also is getting updated on the preceding document i.e. sales order.
    The standard functionality is if you change the address of a partner function, the same will get reflected in an existing sale order.  This being the case, can you reconfirm your statement that in delivery, if you change the partner function, the same will get updated in sale order also?

  • Create STO,Delivery and PGI delivery from an interface

    Hi,
    We are using a third party WMS system to manifest and ship orders froma  distribution center to a store. The only data that is going to come into SAP is the Bill of Lading as to how much has shipped for a material to the store from the DC. This has to drive a Stock transport order cycle of creating an STO, create and PGI delivery. As we are building the interface,  I am a bit confused as to how we can make all this happen from one data feed.  Since there is only one feed and it has to trigger mutliple processes should we trigger multiple idocs (different types) to trigger the STO creation, create the delivery and PGI it (Delivery 03 idoc)?
    Will it be too cumbersome to build all this logic in the interface?
    Another option would be to create the STO using the feed, then run VL10B in a given time interval (Background) to create the delivery.
    However, I am not 100% sure how you can spawn off a PGI job? Even if I were to run the VL02n program in the background how can I populate the pick quantity?
    Any insight would be very useful.
    Thanks..

    My assumption is just you need to adopt delivery qty as pick qty.You are not doing any TR ,TO as your ware house is third party managed.
    you need to define the picking form EKOO to your shipping point type and then the quontity will copy
    You can do it in the difintion of the shipping point, you have to difine send time = 4
    I will explain how need to  set up this automatic picking, and then you can
    work backwards from there. The automatic picking you are experiencing
    is actually related to the output type EK00 assigned to your shipping
    point.
    Consider the following two setup steps which will result is automatic
    picking:
    Set the output type to EKOO, in the print picking list of the shipping
    point in customizing.
    Make sure the parameters below are set:
    Message Language
    Number of Messages
    Send Time <<<<<<<<<<< this must be set to 4 (send immed)!!
    Transmission Medium
    1) you have to set the parameters for EK00 in the shipping-point-
    maintenance in customizing:
    -> Enterprise Structure
    -> Definition
    -> Logistics Execution
    -> Define, copy, delete, check shipping point
    2) as second step you define the shipping-print-parameters in
    customizing:
    -> Logistics Execution
    -> Shipping
    -> Basic Shipping Functions
    -> Output Control
    -> Define print parameters shipping
    -> Shipping (Spec.case)
    Therein there should be an entry for every shipping-point, where
    you like to use the picking-list EK00!
    If you have 1 & 2 setup for a particular shipping point you will
    experience the "automatic" picking of deliveries.
    and finally picking storage  location determined as per storage conditions maintained in material master.

  • Automatic delivery and billing

    Dear Experts,
    could any one light me how to create an automatic delivery and billing from the sales order?
    i want to create the sales order , delivery and billing at the same time when creating the sales order

    Hi Ahmed,

    Now you can see your variant
    VF06 --> GOTO (Menu) --> Varian --> Display

  • VA02 - transfer packing propsal from order to delivery and shipment

    hey ,
    how can i transfer the packing propsal in VA02 to delivery and shipment ?
    is there any copy control for this ?
    Regards
    ASA

    Hi Asa,
    You have to use some ABAP code (copy routine) to achieve this...
    SAP online help:
    http://help.sap.com/erp2005_ehp_04/helpdata/EN/65/79f328a70111d2b44e006094b9b9dd/frameset.htm
    Packing proposals in sales orders and scheduling agreements
    It is possible to enter packing proposals in sales orders and scheduling agreements. These specifications automatically lead to a packing proposal in the delivery if a special data transfer routine is maintained in Customizing for copying control between the sales documents and the delivery. The packing proposal can be changed in the delivery. It is also possible to pack the delivery according to the packing proposal in the preceding document by using the Use proposal function in delivery processing.
    Define the data transfer routine:
    SPRO > LE > Shipping > Copy Control > Define FORM Routines for Data Transfers (menu > Data Transfer > Handling Units)
    Set the routine in copy control
    SPRO > LE > Shipping > Copy Control > Specify Copy Control For Deliveries (see field: V_TVCPLAK-GRUVS)

  • Install, Match (X) or Copy, Merge all below and Copy all below

    Hi,
    Can any one please tell me when can we use only "Install", combination of both "Install and Match (X) or Copy" and only "Match (X) or Copy" Indicatiors.
    And what is Match (x) or Copy, are they different from each other or they are one and same? if there is difference what is the diff between Match (x) and Copy.
    And what is the use of "Merge All Below" and "Copy All Below" in the context menu of the objects that are collected.
    Regards,
    Kumar.

    Hi,
    Install
    -> Objects that are being transferred for the first time. There is not an active version of these objects in the system.
    ->Business Content objects that have been redelivered in a new version. These objects are identified by the Content time stamp in the corresponding object tables.
    Match (X) or Copy
    If the SAP delivery version and the active version can be matched, a checkbox is displayed in this column.With the most important object types, the active version and the SAP delivery version can be matched.
    The Match indicator is set as default in order to prevent the customer version being unintentionally overwritten. If the Content of the SAP delivery version is to be matched to the active version, you have to set the Install indicator separately.
    The active version is overwritten with the delivery version if
    -> the match indicator is not set and
    -> the install indicator is set.
    In other words, the delivery version is copied to the active version.
    If the Install indicator is not set, the object is not copied or matched. In this case, the Match indicator has no effect.
    In the context menu, two options are available:
    a.      Merge All Below
    The object in the selected hierarchy level and all objects in the lower levels of the hierarchy are selected as to Match.
    b.      Copy All Below
    The Match indicators are removed for the object in the selected hierarchy level and all objects in the lower levels of the hierarchy. If the Install indicator is also set, these objects are copied from the delivery version to the active version.
    The most important properties which are taken into account when versions are matched are now listed.

  • How to create data transfer and copying requirements

    Hi Gurus,
    Can you tell me how to create data transfer and copying requirements in copying control for SD?
    Thanks,
    pAUL

    Hi John,
    Go to Transaction code - VOFM.
    In the menu select Data Transfer and select where you want maintain the copying requirements i.e. at the order level, delivery level etc.
    Here, you can either create a new routine or change the existing routine according to your requirement.
    Make sure you activate the routine (click on Edit - Activate from menu) once you are done with the routine.

  • Prohibit delivery- and read- receipts

    Does anyone know how you can prohibit Mail and Entourage from sending delivery- and read- receipts.
    I could only find answers to the question how you can request them yourself, what is not an issue for me.

    Mail doesn't send receipts for delivered nor read mail. "Read" receipts aren't supported in any Internet email client I know of, only in proprietary messaging systems such as Outlook/Exchange.
    Entourage to the best of my knowledge by default doesn't return delivery receipts either, though I might have missed it in my copy. It appears that the only way to get it to do it is by manually adding special headers.
    So if you don't want to be returning receipts, you don't need to worry.
    Regards.

  • Scheduling agreement with Delivery and Periodic billing

    Hi Gurus
    Can anybody suggest the process if available, having scheduling agreement -
    delivery --- and periodic billing.
    Thanks
    MM

    Hi there,
    Is is possible. Define a scheduling aggrement with mentioning the required delivery dates. This will convert as schedule lines.
    When the item is due, delivery will be created.
    Define a periodic billing type & assign it to your billing type. Define the validity period for your periodic billing.
    Make sure you define the copy controls from delibery - invoice.

  • Formatted Search and "copy To" Function

    I have created a Formatted Search on the document field series (delivery) that picks up the country from BP and sets the right series. This all works fine but something else is also happening:
    When I use the "copy To" Function in the base document (order) the formatted Search in the target document (delivery) will not be executed and therefore the series will not be set correctly. Is this a bug? Exists a workarraound?
    I use the version 2007 PL08.
    Thanks for your help
    Gert

    I still think it's a bug/flaw. We got the run around from support with suggestions to trigger on some other field like the suggestions above. I'm working on a client on 2005a SP01 PL42 and I've seen the issue even earlier than this patch. We ended up handling this as part of a small add-on because this functionality had to work reliably and we could not depend on the users to always use the Copy From. Plus, you can save a lot of time by having an alert with let's say orders that are ready to be delivered or invoiced, and all the user has to do is drill into the alert to open the order and copy to invoice, rather than figuring out the customer code on the invoice to use the copy from button.
    You could open a ticket... maybe you'll have better luck. I still think this functionality should be consistent on either direction of the flow.

  • Difference between return delivery and cancellation

    What is the difference between return delivery and cancellation in  MIGO transaction.
    Can any one explain how to use them and where to use them.
    thanks

    HI there
    I will make it simple with figures,,
    Return Delivery
    PO- 100 nos
    GR-100 nos in to QI stock,,,
    After the Inspection- 95 nos Accepted, 5 nos Rework
    1. Return Delivery - Expecting the Subsequent Delivery- post the 5 nos into 122 (Return to Vendor), he will do the rework and provide the component back after the inspection if the qulaity is ok receive into 101
    2.Return Delivery- Not expecting the delivery back- post the 5 nos into 122 (Return to Vendor) and close the PO, if the payment already create the Credit memo for the 5 nos,,,
    Cancellation
    Ex:
    1. GR for the 100 nos into 103 instead of 101, so cancel the document through 104
    At the time of cancel the document, Always use the origin material document, so that
    1. All the data will be copied automatically
    2. Reversal Movement type will be defaulted
    3. Material Cost will be picked on the last material document,, if not it will pick the price from PO/Order.
    Hope it helps you

  • DELVRY01 to preform both Delivery and PGI

    Hi All,
    Can i use the basic type DELVRY01 to do both Delivery and PGI.
    If yes, what additional inputs i need to provide.

    hello again.
    the 15/02 line item remains open because it was not copied into your delivery document.  what you entered in the delivery, the system interpreted as a manual entry and not as an item from your order.
    despite the order giving a schedule line of 15/02, you were still able to enter the same material in your delivery manually.  this could be because of the availability of stocks which have not been reserved for other orders.  if there are enough stocks, you will be able to post goods issue (you can even specify goods issue date, within the opened posting period).  the 'complete' status of picking and goods issue refer only to the delivery document and not of the items in the order.
    the system also treats your manual entry as a sort of 'overdelivery', meaning this is in addition to your order quantities.  despite your manual entry, the system will still bill your customer based on actual deliveries.  overdelivery is allowed unless you prohibit this in configuration and perhaps copy control.
    for you to complete the status of the sales order, you need to either reject the 15/02 item, or to create another delivery with reference to the order but this time specifying 15/02 as delivery date.
    hope this helped you.
    regards.
