Frustrated with Sign In
EVERY time I sign in to this forum, I get an error message telling me I'm using the "Wrong screen name or password". I then use the same exact screen name with "forgot password" and it sends me a reset for the screen name at the correct email address. I then go and reset the password usually to the exact same password I tried in the original sign in. Lately I have been changing the password to see if that somehow would resolve the problem - no such luck. I have typed in the screen name & password, I have pasted in the screen name & password. It is not a typo, it is not a mistake on my part. Yet every time, not some of the time, not often, EVERY time I get a sgn in error. Will, if there is a moderator reading this, please get this fixed
Do you know if your screen name is a community only screen name or one tied to your MyVerizon account?

Very frustrated with the battery exchange program
I'm very frustrated with the battery exchange program. I signed up online, double checked all my information, and submitted. No where on the page did it say that a signature would be required upon delivery. I work during the day, so I'm not home to receive shipments (any package I do receive is just left in the lobby, and it's always been fine--I live in a secure building).
DHL is refusing to leave the package at the door. Apple refuses to tell DHL that it's ok to redirect the package to my place of employment. My only option, it seems, is to spend almost two hours of my time driving to the DHL location and back (the pickup location isn't even in the same county I live in).
If anyone has any better ideas, I would love to hear it.

AndreaIf your battery was stolen after it was delivered, I'd bet you'd really get upset. If DHL is anything like UPS, you can sign the receipt telling them to leave the package. Pretty simple.

Create a new apple id - OR
create a new free web base email - sign into the apple id you have now edit the primary email address with the just newly created email save [you justs freed your email address from being an apple id]
Once you have all the4 correct information/data etc needed to be able to then chose option None
use that email to create apple id -
Total frustration with IOS 8.0.2 on iPhone 4s, what is going on?
PLEASE HELP!! Total frustration with IOS 8.0.2... what a nightmare. Can't get important apps to work.. that I use everyday... can't connect to WIFI... Phone crashes repeatedly (4s) ... it hangs... it takes 5-10 minutes to boot.... battery drains very quickly.

Here are some:
Basic Troubleshooting Steps when all else fails
- Quit the App by opening multi-tasking bar, and swiping the App upward to make it disappear. (For iOS 6, holding down the icon for the App for about 3-5 seconds, and then tap the red circle with the white minus sign.)
- Relaunch the App and try again.
- Restart the device. http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1430
- Reset the device. (Same article as above.)
- Reset All Settings (Settings > General > Reset > Reset All Settings)
- Restore from backup. http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1766 (If you don't have a backup, make one now, then skip to the next step.)
- Restore as new device. http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4137 For this step, do not re-download ANYTHING, and do not sign into your Apple ID.
- Test the issue after each step. If the last one does not resolve the issue, it is likely a hardware problem. -
IPhone 4s- Frustrated with AT&T
I'm so frustrated. I preordered my iphone 4s through the att store location on October 7. And i still do not have my iphone 4s. The att customer rep first got my address wrong and had to cancel and reenter into the systerm at 5:45 that night. i would have had it preordered at 11:45. My att order status still says it is "backordered" and pending shipment. I am so frustrated with att. You would think by their 3rd iphone launch they would have smoothed out the launch process and have got it right.
I thought when you preorder an item, you reserve an iphone so that you can buy it before the rest of the world can get it. then when preorders run out you have to wait till release day. Not the case with att.

Then after i placed my oder i received the email confirmation saying 14-21 days. If i would have known ahead of time that the preorder item would take so long. I would have waited and just walked in to a store. There is sort of a idea that the reason you preorder an iphone through apple or att or anyone else you reserve a phone so u can get one before everyone else. That is why you preorder 7 days in advance. Now people that did not sign up for a preorder can just walk in store and pick one up. Also why does att use terminology like "backordered" and not give a more accurate delivery time. Why does everyone that preorders say a 14-21 wait day estimate. Even people that received their iphone orders already, who had to preorder on 10-7, their email still said 14-21 days. Not 7 days like it actually took. I know i will never prorder like this. If i preorder i will preorder from apple or just get in store. .

Frustrated with 70 Hour Weeks: Lazy or Legit Issue
So for a little over a month, I have been working 70 hour work weeks (I am salaried so no extra pay), and I am becoming very frustrated with the work week due to lack of free time and the fact that I am the only one in the office for countless hours. Most of the extra hours are a result of being understaffed and project deadlines being moved up by several months to a whole year. The 70 hour weeks do not show any signs of ending soon, and I have expressed my concerns to my boss. I usually get a reply that these kind of hours are to be expected for people in IT, and that I should just get use to it. I was wondering how other SpiceHeads feel about long weeks and no extra pay. Are my concerns warranted or am I being lazy with my frustrations with 70 hour work weeks.
This topic first appeared in the Spiceworks CommunityHas anyone used the Unifi Outdoor AC AP's yet. I just got one in today for install at a Marina tomorrow on Lake Ontario and I can't believe how big this thing is. I've every type of indoor unit they sell and a few of the point to point units but never any outdoor AP's. Here is a picture to get some perspective on the size.
I was thinking it was maybe a little bigger then some of the large point to point units. Was I ever wrong it's the size of a cinder block face. Thankfully I don't need to worry about space where I'm mounting this but I thought I would post this in case anyone else is looking at these and is wonder size. I will come back tomorrow and post how the install went and how the performance. So far I've got it on my cloud controller and was getting strong signal outside with the unit sitting in my basement. -
I have several frustrations with photocasting. Feedback would be appreciated.
#1 - I am beginning to think I misunderstood photocasting. The whole reason I got it was related to the advertised ease of use for sharing photos with pc peeps. That hasn't happened yet. Haven't been able to share even one photo yet. My end is easy, their end is not. I'm dealing primarily with non-technical people, those who are simple email users on windows machines. The whole RSS deal is proving to be a real issue. New program, have to download, configure, make it work type of deal. They are aggravated and feel I've made things much harder than before when I used yahoo photo website. I have wanted to leave the yahoo deal because of the slow and difficult process of uploading TONS of photos. Yet, they allow for free space and unlimited space, I just have to deal with the tedious process. But at least it works for all. Can't say that so for for the much touted photocasting.
#2 - I've been setting up my iPhoto folders and such, broadcasting them out without announcing them. I wanted to get them set up and organized and then slowly start sending out announcements. Now, when I select a folder that has already been established for a bit, I select the folder and click photocast. It only gives me the option to stop broadcasting the folder. No options for photocasting exists. I've only been able to announce with new folders. What am I doing wrong?
#3 - Anyone else feel that this is easy for mac users, but the degree of difficulty for non-techie windows users isn't clearly stated? It is advertised clearly as an easy solution equally for pc/mac users. I had no idea this would prove to be a new headache. My family is now aggravated with me. I boasted about how Apple had a really cool solution. Not to mention, I maxed out the memory options and dumped some serious change into the drain (at this point). I have one techie windows friend. I know he will eventually figure it out, but he's finding he's having to go through additional measures and steps. He started on the process of getting an RSS set up, but has kind of tired of the whole process.
I feel a bit ripped off as I have no use for .mac if the photocasting doesn't work. So far, haven't had one member of my family view even one pic despite hours of effort of dealing with iPhoto and them over email.
Anyone else exprience this general problem in integrating photocasting with non-tech windows family members?

PowerMac G4 1.42 duel Mac OS X (10.4.6)I had very similar frustrations, and while not even near resolving them, I've made some progress and kind of seen the bigger picture here.
1. I've found it really is pretty easy with other Tiger/iLife '06 users. Duh. That leaves about 90% of computer users with no hope. My friends complained that they couldn't view photocasts on Windows. Fortunately the solutions started presenting themselves in shades - Firefox, via its "New Live Bookmark" command under Bookmarks, can display the photocast contents, sans comments, titles and thumbnails - new tabs with full size photos. A friend told me of a website (sign in with google ID) that shows photocasts with titles, comments and slideshow. Then the beta IE7 appears to support RSS feeds like the ones .Mac generates for Photocasts.
I doubt that Photocasting is so big that browsers are progressively starting to change just to support it. I think the non-Safari clients ended up being slow to support the kind of RSS feed Photocasts generate.
2. I think if you want to reannounce the photocast, you have to show the info panel in the bottom left corner, and you'll see a URL there. Clicking on the URL re-generates the dialog that assists you in announcing the photocast. I discovered that when I had the same problem you're seeing.
3. Yes. My current opinion is that the "industry standard" RSS for photocasts wasn't adopted fast enough by others, and Apple didn't really look into its proliferation or the feature might have been held over till IE7 shipped (whenever...)
For the moment, try Firefox live bookmarks, or IE7. There is a web-based way to do it but I don't remember it right now. All solutions are not trivial enough, in my personal opinion. -
Problem with signing in to folio builder, indesign.
I have created an app that I would like to publish, but I can not sign in via the folio builder. I have done this many times before, but today I only get the grey weel when I try to sign in. Im am stuck an can not publish my app. How can I get this to work?

Hey, just have a problem with signing into my Skype account.
When I try to sign in, its works for 10 seconds and after that signed out automatically (with message: You have been signed out). I tried to reinstall it and restart laptop, but nothing changed. Also changed password via skype official site...nothing(

1. End all the Skype process from Task manager
2. Delete the Skype folder from %appdata% and %temp%
3. Go to Program Data> Run> type C:\programData
4. Delete the Skype folder from Program Data.
5. Re-launch skype and try again.

My sister has an iPad and an HP printer. She cant' print from her iPad even though a genius at the Apple Store sold the combination to her with the idea that it would be easy to do. Instead, I have to go to her place with my MacBook, she sends me an email, and I hook up my laptop to her printer to print what she needs. Why can't the Apple geniuses come up with a USB cable and an OS update to make it easy and NOT SO FRUSTRATING to print from the iPad?

I'm endlessly frustrated with iTunes Cloud syncing, something that was supposed to make lenjoying my music easier. I routinely find that, though itunes and podcasts have been split, iTunes arbitrairily removes music files or in progress podcast in favor of 'new' podcasts. The settings are just not fine-grained enough to allow true user control and so we are instead subjected to 'Apple knows best' protocols. I understand and appreciate the level of exacting control Apple excercises over their ecosystem, however, more and more often I see them tightening control over things that should be user control while dropping the ball on aesthetic desisions made in producing their own software (see the hideous pull down tab for iTunes to access Podcast, TV shows, Music, etc.
I would like to see features like those in Mail and the Podcasting apps implemented in iTunes afor the management of content on mobile devices, for instance it would be great to swipe to delete files that you know longer want on your device, at both the album and song level. Another issues is the new pushiness of iRadio and iTunes Store, the app now seems to default to the iRadio page (versus the last page Albums, songs, etc. that the user was navigating, or in the instance of the iTunes Store push, if I doon't have all the tracks of an album i own on my mobile device 'complete my album' takes you to iTunes store rather than showing the 'cloud' download icon next to missing tracks. These are the tactics I expect from Google, not Apple (pushing commerce over quality user experience).
Fix these things Apple, please. -

And that's saying something with the amount of PC dross that's out there...Apple...PLEASE update and give us back the old version of iTunes...

Here client pay the excise duty for free goods issue items, For this situation what ever the amount he paid in the excise duty free item that same amount he wants to reduce in sales ie it should be debit in my exaple it is 48 rs.
My problem is i configured ZNE1 condtion assgined to value filed ERLOS. While release to a/c system returns "CHEK VALUE FILED ASSIGNEMENT TO CONDITION TYPE". when I make the settings +/- sign for the conditon system allow me to release and save. Please guide me whithout assignment how to release billing document?

Conditions from SD are always transferred to CO-PA with "+" signs, with the exception of credit memos and returns. The reasons for this is that the signs for revenues are handled differently in the different applications of the R/3 System. For example, revenues are positive in SD, while they are negative in FI. Consequently, CO-PA accepts all the values as positive, and then subtracts deductions and costs from revenues in the information system.
This configuration needs to be done in the system if you have the CO-PA active and the SD flows are configured. Unfortunately you will not be able to ignore this. Please see below some SAP help snippets for your benefit.
Note that certain limitations exist on the transfer of condition values of billing documents to CO-PA.
1. To transfer condition types for sales revenues and sales deductions to CO-PA, you need to make sure that the condition types and linked to an account in FI that is also defined as a cost element of the category "11" (revenue element) or "12" (sales deduction) in CO. These condition types must be assigned to a CO-PA value field.
Condition types linked to FI accounts that are defined as cost elements of another category are not transferred to CO-PA, even when the condition type has been assigned to a CO-PA value field.
2. Condition types such as "VPRS" ("Cost") that are defined as statistical in SD are always transferred to CO-PA if they are assigned to a value field.
3. All condition types that you want to transfer to CO-PA must be active in the SD pricing procedure. Inactive conditions in a billing item are not transferred. If all the conditions in a billing item are inactive, that item is not transferred to CO-PA.
Conditions do not need to be active, however, to be transferred with sales order items, since the transfer of incoming sales orders is always statistical.
It is also possible to transfer conditions from MM to update billing data in pooled payment in the IS Retail system. These are transferred according to the same rules as SD conditions
