FTP, adding documents

I have a site set up (Manage Sites) through FTP. I want to
add in documents from my harddrive to the website, but I don't know
how, I guess. I dragged the file from my disc to the website (in
the Files list) and it didn't show up, even though I refreshed and
restarted Dreamweaver. I tried copying the file from the harddrive
and pasting it into the website, and that didn't work either. I
tried making a link on a page to the harddrive file and seeing if
it will prompt me to save it to the site, but it doesn't. Help,
please? Thank you!

Did you fill in the correct information for the remote site
in the site
definitions box?

  • Alert Drill Down - Draft and Added Documents

    Hi,
    I want to be able to send and alert that allows drill down when the alert includes draft and multiple types of added documents (ie Sales Order, AR Invoice, Purchase Order, AP Invoice etc.)
    Currently my alert query has UNIONs for the draft table  and ADDED type documents. For the Added documents I select a dummy draft number. Of course this is very confusing to the user, who need to recognise that this is an ADDED document and not to drill but copy and retreive the document.

    This is impossible.  Simply because, once you are using Union, drill down will no longer work.

  • Adding Documents to Queries

    Hi,
    I have a situation where the customer wants to add documents to the queries. I know we can do it through KM in Portal, but not all queries are being used in the Portal. some are just used as workbooks.
    I tried searching for this, but always end up getting info on KM in Portal.
    Is there any other way of adding documents to the query ?
    Any help will be appreciated.

    Hi,
    You should be able to create documents for Queries using the Documents from RSA1 in BI7.0.
    Select Documents -> Meta Data and in the left panel. You will have an option to select the Object Type and then search for the required Object. Once you have selected the Object for which you want to create the Document, you can start by either creating a new one or importing a text file.
    You can explore the rest from here. This should be a pretty simple one.

    If I use BeforeAction = False it's doesn't control adding document too. For example:

  • How to ftp XML document into a XML type which is not created by itself.

    I have a table call SNPLEX_DESIGN which is created automaticly when I register a snplex_design.xsd XML schema.( Oracle creates it through the xdb:defaultTable="SNPLEX_DESIGN attribute). and it is created using SNPLEX user account.
    2.
    I also created a folder (resource) call /home/SNPLEX/Orders. which is used to hold all the incoming XML document.
    3.
    I created another user account call SNPLEX_APP, which is the only user account allowed to FTP XML document into /home/SNPLEX/Orders folder.
    Isuues,
    If I login as SNPLEX user, I can ftp XML document into the folder and TABLE (the file size = 0). But If I login as SNPLEX_APP user account, I can only ftp XML document into the folder, but Oracle doesn't store the document into the table( becuase the files size shows a number).
    I have granted all the ACL privileges on the /home/SNPEX/Orders folder to SNPLEX_APP hrough OEM.
    DO I miss anything. Any helps will be great appreciated. Resolve this issues is very import to us, sicne we are on a stage to roll system into production.

    IN order for a registered schema to be available to other users the schema must be registered as a GLOBAL, rather than a LOCAL Schema. This is controlled by the third agument passed to registerSChema, and the default is local. Note that you will also need to explicity grant appropriate permissions on any tables created by the schema registration process to other users who will be loading or reading data from these tables.

  • Message 131-3 when adding document

    I am adding a document to a UDO and I get the Message 131-3 that says I have to set up the numbering series thru the Administration tab first.  The only problem is that this has already been done.  There is a Next number and a Last number set for this document.  Is there something else that has to be set?  I have added documents successfully to this table in the past.

    What version of SAP Business One are you using?  If you are using 2007A, I think there were some issues in earlier PL's.  Please make sure you have downloaded the latest which is PL15 ... again ... if you are using 2007A.

  • Adding "document sending" functionality

    Hi All,
    A customer told me that they want to add a new option in the UCM menu, something like "Document Sending". That is, it should allow the user to choose a group of documents and then send them using different options: FTP, links by email, etc. A sent documents history should be kept in the database. I thought this functionality should be implemented using a custom component, but I have little experience with custom component development and have a couple of questions:
    1. Should we use folios to implement that group of documents or it's not needed?
    2. I guess there's no problem for the component to store in the database any metadata from the sent documents, right?

    i also played around with it... it is working fine on my local safari. but it does not on the iPad.
    The description is missing as well as the "Save" button is not working. does anyone discovered similiar issue?

    I am trying to insert a shortcut 'Add DocumentLink' like 'Add Document' inside a document library (just replacing upload.aspx with newlink.aspx (id=idHomePageNewLink) it brings up the first form to upload the Document URL & Title when click on OK gives
    error message. We have created views in library with filters to show only specific documents to control access; from any view when they use 'Document Link' from ribbon it always lands up in a different view. please let me know how i can add shortcut link

    You seems to add custom action in the Ribbon to replace the upload document function.
    You can create custom action using CustomAction element in CAML, the following sample shows how to do this. And to achieve the upload function, if you don’t want to use default upload page, custom a layout upload page to achieve the upload, then redirect
    to the default list view page.

  • Print Document option, not work when adding documents.

    I have checked inside SAP BO the checkbox Print Document when AR Invoice is added (Print preferences)   But this action not work because the document not is printed automatically, then the user has to print it manually.

  • Adding documents to CUCCX call center to be used in script

    Hello,
         I'm looking to create a "waiting times" prompt which will alert people how long they may have to wait for service.  We have another system outside of CUCCX that has these stats and our programmer has suggested placing an integer into a flat file that can be uploaded to the CUCCX server which can in turn be read, turned into an integer, and then have some "if" logic applied to it.  So, my question is;
    1) How can I set up a user account in CUCCX that will allow for write access to an external user?
    2) Where is the default directory that this document would be uploaded to?

    I'm not sure what I said to confuse the point, but UCCX *can* access a web server via HTTP.  That's what I linked to in the Data Sheet.  Also, don't get too hung up on the XML part, you can easily read a plain text file.
    It only takes a single step to read the data.  Here's an example:
    Set http_response = URL[http://myinternalserver.company.com/lobby99/waittime/]
    Where http_response is a String.
    And depending on how you want to inform the caller, the next part could be as simple as this:
    Play Prompt (--Triggering Contact--, P[the_wait_time_is] + N[http_response] + SP[gen/time/minutes])
    Of course you may prefer time ranges like this:

  • Simple problem with popup message before adding document on system form

    We have an AddOn that validates price lines on system Sales Order form matrix, so that if prices fall below a certain value, a popup is show to ask to continue or not, when user presses ADD button.
    The problem is that if he chooses yes (to continue), the Sales Order is not added since the button ADD keeps being selected ....
    Here is my code:

    The problem is somehow related with the popup message being shown: if user says YES to continue, the system form does not continue with the standard process of adding the Sales Order (when I move the cursor above the ADD button is shows it already pressed...).
    Do I have to do anything more to force the process to continue, when the user says YES?

    Thtas known problem. The solution for this is declare global variable as boolean, when user selects Yes, then set this variable to true and emulate click to add button again where before the message box check if its varaible sets to true - in this case dont show message box, only set variable to false.
    The concept of code will be

        x = messagebox...
      if x = 1 then
        continue = true
         items.item("1").click
    end if
    else
    continue = false

  • Custom event - adding Document in message data

    Hi,
    I'm trying (without success) to add a document variable into the message data of a custom event.
    I have tryed to define in schema an element having no type, and then to put directly the document using the data mapping.
    All the process is working except the fact that the passed content (a form) cannot be  readen as passed.
    Do somebody have an advice to achieve that?

    here are some hints in addition to the info from Steffen:
    How to find the version of SAP MDM components related to your question:
    SAP MDM Data Manager -> click on About
    SAP MDM Console -> Help -> select About SAP MDM Console
    SAP MDM Server -> on installation machine, go to folder .../Server , and in e.g. Windows, select the file mds.exe and the properties of the file will show its  version.
    Please use the installation files you got from the same SP/patch/hotfix.
    MDM 5.5 SP4 is in monitored shipment, therefore if you work at a customer, you can ask your customer to upgrade to the latest available SP4 patch1 5.5.33.13.
    What I could find about the RC code 82030100 is nothing more than you mentioned "Unhandled Exception" ...

  • Need SP to prompt user before ADDING document on hitting Return Key

    Our client is moving from legacy system to SAP B1. Legacy system has extensive use of hitting ENTER Key (or return key).
    Client is concerned that users will habitually hit enter key and cause accidental creation of documents.
    Would someone be able to provide me with a store procedure that pop up  a message on documents such as Sales, Purchase, Delivery and GRPO on hitting ENTER key  - a message for example "Hit Enter Key again to Confirm".

    SP_TN is the only legitimate SP can be used in B1. This SP can only block document creation.
    System has built-in function to display confirmation messages. You have to click twice enter (return) key to add a document. Train users to check every message before they try to hit second enter key. They will use to new system soon.

    Can you please post your code? If you've got oDoc.Lines.Add in there try to remove it and see if it has the desired effect. If you look at the document in the SBO GUI you'll see that there is already an empty line in the order. I haven't tested it, but try it out.
