FTP Transfer through OBPM
Hi All,
I have been trying to transfer image files from one folder of the server to the other throught OBPM iam trying for FTP
I am trying to achieve this functionality using Fuego.Net.Ftpserver but initially i tried to login into the server which iam not able to the problem is i dont know what is the format to be followed and how am i supossed to proceed, Could anyone please share their ideas and if any one has code for this could you please share it with me
--Srihari
hi Daniel,
Thanks for the reply, but should i not initially log into the server for doing anything inside it? This is where iam having problems, my question is can i use the featire Fuego.Net.FTPserver which has methods like connect(), disconnect(), createdirectory(), createfile(), deletedir(), and lot of other methods i just feel can this feature be used to achieve this functionality inside the server?
There is no tutorial available fo this anywhere i was looking out for any sample project which is implemented by using the feature Fuugo.Net.FTPserver of OBPM
The code that you have given here is good for moving files between folders in our local system, can this be implemented for transfering image files between servers?

FTP service through CSM: Quit command not working
Greetings all
I've been testing FTP service through our CSM for about a day now and has run into an issue I can't find an answer for.
Here are the settings I'm currently using for the vserver and serverfarm. The 10.90.1.0 network is routed from my client network by a firewall using NAT.
serverfarm APPFARM
nat server
no nat client
predictor leastconns
real 10.91.1.155
inservice
probe ICMPCHECK
vserver APPFTP
virtual 10.90.1.40 tcp ftp service ftp
serverfarm APPFARM
persistent rebalance
inservice
Connecting to the FTP works just fine using both passive and active FTP and I can log in and transfer files. However when I send the "quit" command to the FTP server, as I do when connecting to the server directly, the session freezes and the "good bye" messages never appears.
My guess is that there is some premature termination of the connection before a final disconnect is sent to my FTP client. Anyone have an idea how this can be solved?
Regards
Fredrik HofgrenFredrik,
first time I see this.
Could you capture a sniffer trace of csm portchannel showing what happens before, during and after the Quit.
Also, there is way to achieve ftp loadbalancing without the need to use 'service ftp'. You'll get much better performance if you do not use this function.
All you need is configure loopback on your servers using the vip address so they can advertise the right ip in the control channel fo the client to open the data channel.
You then need a generic vserver to catch all possible port and by using stickyness you can guarantee that the control channel and the data channel are both sent to the same server.

CRIO FTP transfer file size limit
Hi,
I generated a data file on my cRIO that is about 2.1 GB in size. I'm having trouble transferring this file off of the cRIO using FTP. I've tried windows explorer FTP, the built in MAX file transfer utility, coreFTP,and WinSCP. I am able to transfer other files on the cRIO that are smaller in size.
Is there an FTP transfer file size limit? Is it around 2 GB? Is there anything I can do to get this file off of the device?
Thanks!
Solved!
Go to Solution.I am not making the FTP transfer programmatically through LabVIEW. Rather, I am trying to utilize the cRIO's onboard FTP server to make the file transfer using off the shelf Windows FTP file transfer applications. I generate the data file by sampling the cRIO's analog inputs and recording to the onboard drive. I transfer the file at some point after the fact; whenever is convenient.
To program the cRIO, I am using LabVIEW 2012 SP1 and the corresponding versions of Real-Time and FPGA. I am using a cRIO-9025 controller and 9118 chassis.
I do not get any error messages from any of the FTP clients I have tried besides a generic "file transfer failed".
I have had no issues transferring files under 2 GB using FTP clients. I have tried up to 1.89 GB files. The problem seems to only appear when the file is greater than 2 GB in size.
I have found some information elsewhere online that some versions of the common Apache web server do not support transferring files greater than 2 GB. Does anyone know what kind of FTP server the cRIO-9025 runs? -
Delivery cost for Stcok transfer through M.type : 351
Hi Experts,
Can anybody explain how to capture the delivery costs for Stock transfer through M.Type 351.
Also kindly explain the steps involved in configuration of the same.
Thanks in advance,
PrabuHi,
Once the Config releated to Setup stock transfer order is done.
To include the cost you need to include the pricing procedure related to STO needs to be assigned to your schema group.
Goto SPRO -MM-Purchasing -- Conditions
Here you need to assign the Schema determination RM2000 to your Purchasing organization.
Then when you create the STO in the recieiving plant, then you will get the condition tab in the item details of STO, there you can maintain the delivery costs for that material & send the STO to your supplying plant.
Supplying plant will send the material through MB1B & with mvt type 351 to recieving plant.
At the time of Goods reciept system will capture the delivery costs in the recieving plant for that STO.

FTP Transfer: based on filename it needs to be moved to different directory
Hi,
I am doing a FTP transfer of file from one location to another. In this scenario, based on filename the file needs to be moved to Directory A or Directory B.
Is this possible having a single receiver file adapter?
Regards,
AshishHi Ashish
What you can do is
1. You can pick the file from location and use variable substitution to deliver the file on base of filename. But the limitation is folder name should have some characters common to filename as well.
2. You can write file to a temperory location and then execute OS command to move the files to appropriate folders
3. Create two communication channels and enhanced receiver determination to find our which folder based on filename at runtime.
Thanks

Hey peeps,
Im trying to publish a web gallery to be hosted on BC. Despite having what seem the correct settings im getting an error: FTP transfer failed ' unknown message'. Have checked with techs on BC. They say FTP working fine that end.
Any suggestions?Have you tried connecting to another FTP server in Lightroom?
For example, if you get a free Flickr account, can you login to it and upload a file to it?
If you can't upload to any server, then you have a general FTP-in-Lr problem, but if problem is only with BC then, well, it's time to start scrutinizing the BC settings..
PS - All my FTP'ing plugins have an enhanced FTP settings test feature designed to help you debug FTP settings, so another option is to download one of them, for example:
robcole.com - FTPAggregator
and experiment with settings tester:
To get here, you have to click 'View / Edit Additional Settings' (in plugin manager), then choose 'New' or 'Edit' from 'Sync Pairs' drop-down menu.
If test is unsuccessful, enable verbose logging (top section of plugin manager), and review the log file after test, or send to me.
If you have a problem running plugin, please contact me directly:

Connect to FTP site with Apache commons net FTP client through Proxy
Hello,
I am trying to run this simple code to connect to FTP site through a proxy.
import org.apache.commons.net.ftp.FTP;
import org.apache.commons.net.ftp.FTPClient;
public class MyTest {
public static void main(String[] args) {
String ftpHostName = "ftp.xxx.com";
int ftpPort = 21;
String ftpUserName = "myUserName";
String ftpPassword = "myPassword";
System.setProperty("socksProxyHost" ,"10.148.0.131");
System.setProperty("socksProxyPort", "1080");
FTPClient ftpClient = new FTPClient();
try {
System.out.println("connecting");
ftpClient.connect(ftpHostName, ftpPort);
System.out.println("connected");
System.out.println("loging in");
boolean successLogin = ftpClient.login(ftpUserName, ftpPassword);
if(successLogin)
System.out.println("success login");
else
System.out.println("fail login");
catch (Exception e) {
e.printStackTrace();
finally {
try {
System.out.println("loging out");
ftpClient.logout();
System.out.println("disconecting");
ftpClient.disconnect();
catch (Exception e) {
e.printStackTrace();
I am getting the following error:

I am able to do this using a different FTP client library, ftp4j-1.5.1<ftp://ftp4j-1.5.1> using the following code:
import it.sauronsoftware.ftp4j.FTPClient;
import it.sauronsoftware.ftp4j.connectors.SOCKS4Connector;
public class MyTestFtp4J {
public static void main(String[] args) {
String ftpHostName = "ftp.xxx.com";
int ftpPort = 21;
String ftpUserName = "myUserName";
String ftpPassword = "myPassword";
FTPClient ftpClient = new FTPClient();
ftpClient.setConnector(new SOCKS4Connector("10.148.0.131", 1080));
try {
System.out.println("connecting");
ftpClient.connect(ftpHostName, ftpPort);
System.out.println("connected");
System.out.println("loging in");
ftpClient.login(ftpUserName, ftpPassword);
System.out.println("success login");
catch (Exception e) {
e.printStackTrace();
finally {
try {
System.out.println("disconecting");
ftpClient.disconnect(true);
catch (Exception e) {
e.printStackTrace();
So I know the proxy settings are correct.
The java version I used to compile and run my apps is 1.6.0_06 Does anyone can help figure out what is wrong when I use the Apache commons net FTP client?
Thank you
JonIs the old AirPort Extreme base station (AEBS)
configured so that the option to distribute IP
addresses is DISABLED? If so, configure the new AEBS
to act as a bridge.
Are you suggesting I use a set-up with TWO AEBSs? Set up a bridge (not sure how) and then use the old AEBS to connect to the DSL modem and broadcast to the new Extreme which will then be the router to the other computers on the network?
Do you have any port mapping or default host enabled
on the old AEBS?
I do not understand, not do I see these options in the Base Station utitlity; perhaps they are in the FTP options--but that, I'm sorry to say, is not obvious to my inspection.
Duane, can you give me a few more basic instructions? Thanks

Re : Inter company stock transfer through EDI
Hi
How to do the intercompany stock transfer through EDI. In this if Purchase order is created from one comapny a sales order should created automaticall in another Company. Fot this what is the SPRO settings.
How to do this.
Thanks
AntoHi,
continues from here,
Inbound file: edi_in
Function module: See text below.
Status file parameters
Directory: /home/edi/<portname>/
Outbound file: status.idoc
Function module: Leave blank if using above
u2022 Both the portname and the exchange directory should be created according to the same naming convention. However, the portname should be in upper case whereas the corresponding directory name should be in lower case (see examples below).
Portname (upper case):
<portname>
Exchange directory name (lower case):
/home/edi/<portname>
where <portname> consists of:
EDI<system name><client number><id char>
<system name> is the name of system on which port exists eg. F01, PG1 etc.;
<client number> is name of client on system which will use this port; and
<id char> is a single alphabetical character such as u2018au2019,u2019bu2019 etc. typically, u2018au2019 will denote dynamic outbound file naming (used for testing) whereas u2018bu2019 will denote static outbound file naming. All ports will use static inbound filenames.
For example, the name of a port using dynamic file naming on system F01, client 610 would be named EDIF01610A. The exchange directory would be named edif01610a. Similarly, the name of port using static file naming on system PG1, client 600 would be EDIPG1600B. The exchange directory name would be edipg1600b.
Note that the function u201CEDI_PATH_CREATE_USERNAME_DT_TMu201D can be used in the u201CFunction moduleu201D field of the Outbound file parameters if IDocs are to be written to multiple files. In this case, the corresponding outbound filename field should be left blank. The standard IDoc exchange interface between the SAP EDI component and the EDI subsystem uses a single file for each transfer direction. However, should the exchange interface change, or for testing purposes, the function modules for dynamic naming can be used.

XI 7.0 Flat File FTP Transfer
We have an ERP 2005-NetWeaver system installed and in process. In the XI(now called PI) we have it set up properly checked x3 by 2 different people and the SM and SLD up and configured. Our first Business Scenario was to pull an iDoc from ERP 2005 and deliver it to the PO for a Legacy non-SAP system. It eventually worked, the problem turned out to be "rights".
Scenario 2 is to pull a Flat File via adapter FTP:// from the FTP Server to the ERP 2005 system. It dosn't work, log below, it appears to just disappear somewhere between the FTP:// server and the XI box integration engine or before. We have tested the FTP Transfer from each machine using the MS Srvr FTP service and it works there just fine (even used the exact same sub-directories and user/attributes. We have also changed OS rights on the:
.../XIREPOSITORY/* and all sub-directories to: Group;Everyone, Role: Full Control. We have done numerous other things I'm too embarrassed to even mention, yet we still get the same response:

HOC READFile is set to 'inactive' as it never yeiled any information of use at this problem just one mamonth file.Pat
It clearly says that it dont have the directory. Also eventhough it is there might be you would have given wrong credentials. So can you please once again give and check? After this go to sxmb_moni and check whether you find any error?
In the last try to check the message display tool so that you can know till where your message has flown? You can log into the message display tool from http://<hostname>:<portno>/MessagingSystem/monitor/auditlog.jsp

Call transfer through Hunt group
Hi,
we have a call manager version 8.6 where we have mutiple huntgroups configured. Following is the call flow
PSTN callers call a DID number from outside which after the translation on the gateway, hits a hunt pilot number on call manager and eventually the call rings on all the line members of the line group. One any of the line group member picks up the call and tries to transfer the call to any internal or external number, we get the following error message on phone screen and transfer does not work
" External transfer Restricted"
Now this happens even if we dial the hunt pilot number internally from an iphone and then if one of the members tries to transfer to an internal extension or external number, we get the error message
More Information:
There are many other hunt groups on the same call manager server and tries to transfer the call same way as the non working one and it works for them
So i checked the difference. All the members of all the hunt groups are device profile logged into physical phone. The only difference was that working hunt group members are logged into 6921 phone where as non working users are logged into 7942 phones (sip firmare) and the profile are created for 9971 although we dont have any physical 9971 phone
So it seems that call transfer through hunt group does not work only if the members are logged into 7942 (sip) phones and works when they are logged into 6921 with 9971 Device profile
I hope its clear. Please let me know if its a known issue or limitation with 7942 phone. Any help will be appreciatedTry changing the Block Offnet to Offnet Transfer CallManager Service Parameter to False and test again. If it then works, we'll probably need CallManager traces to see why both numbers are getting marked as offnet.

Compression for ftp transfer before re-editing footage in FCP
Hi to all,
I am soon going to be receiving DV footage daily,that is going to be sent via ftp transfer. I will then be editing that footage and posting it on the web.
The people sending the footage will have little internet access time during their trip.
Since the end result is for web purposes, i would like the shooters to compress their PAL footage in 320x240 before posting in on the ftp.
Would anyone have any suggestions as far as to what would be the most appropriate compression options out of FCP for it to be light enough to travel fast, and easily re-imported in FCP after arrival.
I would assume i would then calibrate my projet to the settings that have been sent, right?
thanks for your help.
Tee.Thanks for your answers.
I'm aware of the terrible quality loss that will be occurring.
The end format is for the web, and the idea is to keep a chronicle of the 2 week event, with a short video update.
The subject matter is what is of importance here. The event is a 2 week demonstration across europe against unemployment and growing social injustice.
It would be great to have more time and money to use the original footage (via fedex and later editing).
But i will try diffrent transfer options. One may work.
My main question is, (with this totally random example)
lets say i receive a compressed sorenson 3 .mov at 320x240 frame size, with a keyframe at every 15i, sound converted to stereo AAC at 96 kbps....
When i import that file in final cut,can i adjust my presets to match that?
Or will i need to edit in a DVPAL 720x576 preset, and render...
thanks again;

Hi there! I have got another issue with my notebook - the file transfer through e-sata is extremly slow (about 5MBpS). Using Windows 7. Where could be the problem? Thanks.
Hi Gabbi,
thanks for posting. You might want to check in your control panel which Lenovo preloaded software are installed. One software which I've seem has caused this issue is the Lenovo Rapid Shield and and Lenovo Airbag Protection.
Could you try disabling them and check for the changes.

PURPOSE OF MATERIAL TO MATERIAL TRANSFER THROUGH 309
Hello Experts,
Can anyone please tell me the purpose of material to material transfer through 309.
Thanks and Regards
Nilu S.Hi,
309 is used for transfer posting.
Lets say
Example-1:
You may change batch numberof a material to a different batch number ,which means that the quantity keeps staying the same.
Example-2:
You have material X & nedd to scarp, Then a Create scrap materials using Material type ABF or a copy of ABF.If the UOM of material X & Scrap are the same then do a material to material transfer using 309 movement.

Importing SQL into Discoverer?
I've converted an Access application (35 tables and 150 queries) to Oracle. Is there any way to import or 'cut and paste' the SQL into Discoverer? I don't like to think I have to do each by hand.
