Fullscreen disable page change on mouse-click

Hey there!
I created a form that automatically switches to full screen mode.
If users now click into the form (not directly on a checkbox etc.) the next page pops up. Is it possible to deactivate page change on mouse-click?
Thanks in advance!

Hi,
There is an AcroForm script for turning automatic page advancement OFF:
app.fs.clickAdvances = false;
I suspect that this can be translated to XFA javascript "as is", but it will be a while before I can check.
Have a go and maybe someone may have the solution as well.
I will post back later if I get in working in LC Designer.
Good luck,
Niall

  • Get the tab page that the mouse clicked on using PLSQL

    Another canvas related question ...
Is it possible to detect the tab page that the mouse clicked on
    from within a WHEN-MOUSE-DOUBLECLICKED trigger,
SYSTEM.MOUSE_CANVAS returns the name of the tab canvas.
However, I need the name of the tab page within the tab canvas
    thanks

    resolved - thanks
    resolution notes follow:
    ========================
I forgot to mention that I dont know the type of canvas at runtime,
so the code needs to work for tab and non-tab canvases
Unfortunately, calling TOPMOST_TAB_PAGE for a non-tab canvas results in an
error that can only be suppressed using an ON-ERROR trigger
(SYSTEM.MESSAGE_LEVEL wont supress it, nor will EXCEPTION)
anyway, I resolved this via another related post that I raised today.

  • :system.cursor_block value does not change when mouse click

Form created with Forms version 6.0.8.8.0. Consists of a control block that has the toolbar buttons, a filter control block that contains item, and a data block. The filter control block and data block are on a tabbed canvas. There are 3 tabs with corresponding filter control block and data block on each. After the data block is queried, code sets the navigation to the control block with the go_item built-in. The user would use a mouse click on the filter control block on one of the tabs to activate an LOV, code is in a generic when-mouse-click trigger that will determine the item focus with the value in the system variable :system.cursor_block. Works for the first tab. Does not work for 2nd or 3rd tab. On-error trigger does not capture any error. Values for :system.cursor_block for tab 1 show that value before mouse click is 'control.detail' and after mouse click is 'filter.a'. For tabs 2 and 3 the value before mouse lick is 'control.detail' and after mouse click is 'control.detail' instead of 'fiter.b' or 'filter.c'. Verified that the 3 filter blocks are identical. Can anyone shed some light on this anomoly? I have been looking for this solution (many different iterations and changes to trap it) for too long.

:System.Cursor_Block reports the name of a block, NOT a BlockName.ItemName.
Use :System.Trigger_Item with your mouse click, or :System.Cursor_Item.

  • Disabling iebrowser or iecanvas mouse clicking

How to disable the mouse click event on a iebrowser or iecanvas?

    >No Adobe software, including the Adobe Updater, is known to disable Windows Explorer.

See also this forum thread on the problems described in that tech note: http://www.adobeforums.com/webx/.59b77897/1
I'm not pointing fingers. I'm not saying that CS4 doesn't work on Vista-64. It certainly had been working just fine for us for a couple of months, and everything but InDesign was continuing to work until we tried to fix InDesign. I haven't seen this particular problem mentioned anywhere else, so I posted the description of the problem and the solution in case it ever happens to anyone else.
As for incompatibilities, certainly it's possible that there is a third-party catalyst. That doesn't mean that there isn't an incompatibility. The Windows Explorer issue definitely appears to have a third-party catalyst as it only seems to happen on Gateway and HP systems, and it seems to be related to some unusual system directory permissions.
Matthew Laun has been very helpful in trying to "run this to ground", to find out what the problem is and how to fix it. Which is a whole lot more helpful than declaring that it's not an Adobe problem when Adobe software has an incompatibility with something else.
And the tech support person got InDesign working for us again. Which is a while lot more helpful than declaring that it's not an Adobe problem when Adobe software has an incompatibility with something else.

  • Adjust Image Problem - Image Changes when Mouse Click is Released.

I love the fact that images can be adjusted after insertion into a page (Things like brightness, contrast etc). The problem I have which is very frustrating is that while any control on the Adjust Image panel is selected and being edited (click and hold mouse button to move a slider), the images' contrast and brightness change (perhaps as if to indicate selection?). This is inherently a problem since it's these very characteristics you're trying to edit. So you adjust the image to your liking but when you release the mouse button, then image then suddenly changes and is no longer the way you want it. Anyone else seen this problem and have any helpful suggestions?

I have been trying to replicate your issue using  different format images..but I did not succeed.
If its not images and types that cause the  problem,  then the inference is that it the application.
The usual advice... unless you  want to contact tech support and present your problem to them - is to uninstall iBA with Appdelete or similar rather than dragged to the trash, and then do a reinstall.
This presupposes you saved everything/copies etc,.
BTW, I seldom use the various sliders, with practice using the LEVELS can be more effective, have you tried  this option?

Instead of turning off updates all together, I'd like to encourage you to enable automatic updates instead.  While not completely silent, it does allow your flash installation to stay as secure as possible with minimal amount of noise.  For the quarterly updates that do pop up UI, you can simply ignore them.  After 30 days we'll update silently in the background.  Here's a faq that describes the process.

  • When-tab-page-changed not firing

I have 2 seperate forms opened on a single page. One displays on left side of screen and has tabs. One display on right side. If I am currently on my right side form (no tabs) and click on a tab on the left side form, it seems the 'When-tab-page-changed; trigger is not firing the first time. I have tried this on 6i and 10g webforms. If I try it on client/server 6i it works. Any suggestions?

I just tried this with 10gR2 in web. My form with the tabs only get focus and does not call when-tab-page-changed when you click on a tab after returning from the other form.
A 2nd button press does then call the when-tab-page-changed.

  • Erratic Mouse Clicking

I have an iBook G4/933. Mouse click will work sometimes after booting up but only briefly and loses function seemingly without any pattern. I have booted with a Tiger disc and the mouse click works briefly, if at all, regardless of internal or external mouse. Have managed to repair permissions and repair hard disk while booted from CD. Have used an external "known good" Apple USB mouse and doesn't help. Have also zapped PRAM and reset PMU multiple times and no help. I can't blame a faulty OS install if the mouse isn't functioning properly while booted from Tiger install disc. If the internal clicker is to blame and is bad, would that also disable an external USB mouse click? I'm really stumped on this one and any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks!

    Welcome to Apple Discussions!
There is an Apple article that might be of help:
    Portables: Jumpy or erratic trackpad
    http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=17228
See if any of the suggestions in this article are helpful.
I don't know to what extent trackpad problems would affect the external mouse. But you could go to System Preferences>Keyboard and Mouse>Trackpad and check the box that says "Ignore trackpad when mouse is present" and see if that will at least let you use an external mouse.
Please post back if none of this helps.
    Good luck!

  • Different mouse clicks & speed up mouse movements?

    Hello,
Does Adobe Captivate recognise different mouse clicks better
to say if it can record on RMB LMB and MMB clicks different
effects? For example I wish to record Software Simulation project
were on different mouse clicks (RMB, LMB, MMB) would have custom
effects like "OrangeRing" for RMB " "GreenRing" for LMB etc?
One more question plz: I found Published movie mouse
movements are very slow can I make it move more fast without
    editing every slide separatelly?
    Thanks
    Ton

    Hello Tony,
Whilst Captivate does recognize different mouse clicks (in so
much as the application will capture a right-click menu) you cannot
specify what type of mouse effect the application will use when you
    capture.
What you can do is change the mouse click effect post
capture. To do this and with a just captured project open carry out
    these steps:
    1. Select the slide that has a mouse pointer where you would
like need to show a right-click action.
    2. Choose Slide > Mouse > Properties...
    3. In the Mouse Properties dialog make sure that the option
"show mouse click" is selected and then show either the color or
the custom effect you would like to use to represent the
    right-click operation.
Naturally, at the very start of your movie/project you would
need to inform the learner that each time they see the one of the
effect you want them to right-click. You could also include some
audio as well which would be important if you need to adhere to
    accessibility standards.
In regard to your second question, in most cases you will
find that you get the best result if you adjust the mouse timing
    using the Timeline.
That said if you own a copy of Adobe Captivate 2 you can
change the mouse Display and Appear After settings globally via the
Mouse Properties dialog. Personally, for mouse movement I would not
recommend this. Anyway here are the steps to carry that out.
    1. Select any slide that has a mouse pointer present.
    2. Choose Slide > Mouse > Properties...
    3. Click the Timing tab
    4. Change the Display time and Appear After values
    5. Click the Settings button
    6. Choose the appropriate options from both Which properties
    and which slide categories
    7. Click OK.
Note : You can also show the Mouse properties dialog by left
clicking on mouse icon on any of the slides in the Filmstrip
    Regards,
    Mark

  • When links are clicked, they do not fully display the NEW page until the mouse is moved.I know it is a current bug, and appears in no other browsers that I know of.

It was pointed out that my links do not function correctly on Firefox on a Windows platform. When links are clicked, they do not fully display the NEW page until the mouse is moved! I have now observed it for myself on my fathers PC running Windows XP on Firefox. My PC is on Windows7
It is the 5 version of Firefox, so I know it is a current bug, and appears in no other browsers that I know of.

Start Firefox in <u>[[Safe Mode]]</u> to check if one of the extensions is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).
    * Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.
    * https://support.mozilla.com/kb/Safe+Mode
If it does work in Safe-mode then disable all extensions and then try to find which is causing it by enabling one at a time until the problem reappears.
    * Use "Disable all add-ons" on the [[Safe mode]] start window to disable all extensions.
    * Close and restart Firefox after each change via "File > Exit" (Mac: "Firefox > Quit"; Linux: "File > Quit")
In Firefox 4+ you can use one of these to start in <u>[[Safe mode]]</u>:
    * Help > Restart with Add-ons Disabled
    * Hold down the Shift key while double clicking the Firefox desktop shortcut (Windows)

  • Mouse Clicks' Queue when Button is Disabled

Hi, I was wondering about the Disable property for UI
    Components.
In the docs it says that when the component is disabled it
    ignores all
interaction whatsoever - in particular - user interaction.
In my case, the button is disabled for a few seconds right
    after it
was clicked by the user (I disable it till the httprequest is
    returned
    and then enable it).
What happens is that if the user clicks the button while it's
    disabled
    - nothing happens. But when the button turns enabled - it
    acts as if
it just got the click event.
It seems like the mouse click event went into this queue and
    the
button listened to it right after to turned enable?
Am I correct? If so - how can I prevent this problem?
If I'm wrong, what's the reason for this? And again, how can
    I sort
this so the user can't send mouse clicks to the button when
    it's
    disabled??
    Many thanks :)

No idea about whether you're correct or wrong, but you might
    want to try
setting mouseEvents = false on the button and see if that
    helps.

  • Pressing mouse wheel (or Ctrl + Left Mouse Click) on navigation arrows does not open previous/next page in new tab anymore

I am using the new Firefox Developer Edition as a stand-alone on Ubuntu, so I can still use the "old" version, too.
Everything seems to be working fine, as in I am logged in and setup sync. But a few features I got very much used to are no longer working.
When I click on "About Firefox Developer Edition", it shows these details:
    Firefox Developer Edition 36.0a2 (2014-12-09)
Firefox Developer Edition is up to date
You are currently on the aurora update channel.
In my "old" Firefox, I can:
    1. Click with the mouse wheel on the navigation arrows to open the previous or next page in a new tab.
    2. "right mouse click" on the navigation arrows to see the list of previously visited pages of the current tab, and the ones I visited after the page I am on, if I clicked "back" once or more times. I can then click the mouse wheel or "Ctrl + Left Mouse Button" to open any of the pages in the list in a new tab.
None of this works in the Developer Edition.

To clarify, the list of previously or later visited pages does still show up when I right click on the navigation arrows in the Developer Version, but I cannot open any of the links in the list in a new tab with the mouse wheel or "Ctrl + Left Mouse Click".

  • Can spark datagrid mouse click be disabled while in a custom item editor?

    Hi,
Is it possible to prevent a user from clicking on another cell in a datagrid until the cell currently being edited has had its data saved?
I would like to validate the cell's text data as it is being entered by a user, character by character.  If the validation fails, I would like to put up an error message and prevent the user from clicking outside of the cell.  I am able to validate the data and put up an error message.  But I have not found a way, if there is one, of disabling mouse clicks in other cells.  I've tried setting the IE's parent.editable, .enabled and .mouseEnabled properties to false.  But none of these are working for me.
    Thanks,
    -Adobegillisisle2

The session does stay if I hit the TAB or RETURN keys.  I return false from my overridden save() function and the session stays keeping the user in the edit cell, allowing fixing the invalid data.   But I don't get the same behavior when I click the mouse on another cell.  In these cases, my save function is still called, and I still return false ( in the case where the validation fails ), but the edit session goes away.
